Rate this book
Agent Kira 'Midnight' Knight is a force to be reckoned with at the Paranormal Division of the Secret Intelligence Service. She's a fierce werewolf, highly intelligent and maintains quite a smart mouth.

Lieutenant Colonel Ryker 'Storm' West commands a small team of elite werewolf soldiers, including his Military Working Dog, Nero. He's logical, loyal and deadly.

When the Director of P.D.S.I.S assigns Kira the task of recruiting Ryker to the agency, conflict soon compromises the logistics of an easy case.

With a fiery relationship bubbling between them, they're faced with a tough decision. Follow orders or follow their heart.

I’ve always lived a life based on my imagination, from hopeless dreams of romance to concocting alternate realities involving supernaturals. I’m completely fascinated with anything hero-related, and often speculate which superpower I’d possess. I haven’t settled on one yet.

I was born in England, and currently reside in Wales, UK. I love to write, and most days you’ll find me happily tapping away at the computer whilst in my pyjama-clad bubble. I also spend my time reading, and if that isn’t enough I’m often in the kitchen baking up a treat.

Although the serial - i.e. short - nature of this book ought to have made it a quick and easy read, I cannot bear to read another page.

In the general scheme of things, I would commend an author for attempting to broaden their vocabulary. Unfortunately, the writing here reads like a non-native speaker who has regurgitated a thesaurus. Words are used in ways that feel very awkward. Tautologies abound. For want of a better word, it's clunky.

This, in my opinion, is an author who needs to read before they write. Looking at others' phrasing might help to guide their own attempts.

Seems to be aimed at teenagers perhaps? The h is a shifter and an agent, and is supposed to lure the H into her organisation. But the H fools her easily, but we know they are both special agents because they use code names and are strong. Very tame, easy read - did not seem to be for adults.

It wasn’t a complete story, chopped into parts, which makes it less challenging complete.

Wolf

I am not fond of serial stories, they are the equivalent of cliffhangers. On the up side this portion isn’t bad.

Awesome

Great read. Can’t wait to read the rest of the series. The tension is killing me not knowing what is to come next.

Part 1 of 3, and the cover makes it clear. Lots of growing sexual tension and the beginning of a case but not much else. I wouldn’t mind reading on though.

I like it!

I really like where this story is headed. Although, I felt deprived and definitely left hanging on a cliff! But alas, this is a serialized romance that will run its course. Well written and exceptionally interesting and such captivating characters. Can't wait to read the next part!

This book was given to me in exchange for an honest review.
Kira also known as Midnight worked for PDSIS (Paranormal Division of the Secret Intelligence Service). She was one of the best and had a reputation for closing cases to keep up and nothing, not anyone, not even a hot sex Lieutenant Colonel Werewolf soldier who makes her wolf want more.
Lieutnant Colonel Ryker also known as Storm is in command of a team of elite werewolf soldiers. He also has a military dog named Nero. Once he meets Kira he wants to know more about her than that she is just doing her job.
Kira job is to recruit Ryker no matter what and is not to take no for an answer. In the process of trying to convince him, someone is trying to murder him, his team and her. The question is who is it? And Why?
Sparks begin to fly between Kira and Ryker both realizing that they are mates. But Kira holds back because she doesn’t want to lose someone she cares about. But with people after Kira, Ryker and his team they must work together. Once Kira is kidnapped Ryker will do whatever it takes to find and get her back safe and make her his. Will Ryker be in time to save her? Or is he will he be too late? Will they find out who wants them dead?
This is a great series; this book has all three parts of the series in one book. From start to finish the author draws you in so that you do not want to stop reading. There is laughter, anger, drama, hot sex werewolves, and suspense. Her characters have well developed and the way the story is written makes you want to read more. There is romance and plenty of heroes for everyone to like and bad guys to hate.

~Review for the whole serial~

Love this book!
Alpha Wanted rocks!
From the start up to the last, I was hooked on this book.
The story and the characters are great!
What I love about this book is that it's action packed and there's no dull moment.
The characters are bad-asses and they definitely can kick the bad guys' asses!
The characters, Kira and Ryker are amazing!
Kira, an agent of Paranormal Division of the Secret Intelligence Service, who is known to have a remarkable reputation.
She's good at what she's doing and determined to get things done.
Ryker, a military man who is also one of the best on field. He has a military dog named Nero, who fought side by side with him on every mission.
When Kira's mission leads her to meeting Ryker, things get more interesting and full of excitement.
With all the threat going on, someone is desperate to make things done, in a good sense, but in evil.
As the story goes, things get more complicated between the two and someone inside doing all the mess and they are determined to know and expose who the person is.
Ms. Justine nailed it again!
Loved it!
The way the story started until it ended is amazing!
I was hooked with this book!
I hope there would be side stories of some of the other characters too in the serial. =)

Great beginning

This was a cliffhanger. Kind of left you off on what will happen next. The agency that Midnight works for wants Storm to work for them. They get caught up in a case together. And the attraction they feel for each other has yet to evolve into anything.
