About the author

Joseph A. Sackett, a Minnesota native, spent over 20 years serving as an intelligence analyst in the military and later for the Joint Special Operations Command. He holds advanced degrees in Intelligence Studies and Geospatial Intelligence. His research focuses on the vulnerabilities of the U.S. power grid. Inspired by a conversation about the potential repercussions of an EMP attack, Joseph penned his first book to raise public awareness about this critical issue. When he's not writing or studying history, Joseph enjoys reading about combat veterans, supporting the veteran community, and spending time with his family.

Joseph Sackett does it again! These characters have really come into their own throughout this series, and in this installment we see Eli really becoming a hardened leader doing what he must do to survive and thrive in this new world. Truthfully trauma has altered the mindset of every character. What are you willing to do to survive?

Brutal, Bloody, and Beautifully Written
This book had me hooked right away. Eli Among Wolves follows a complex web of survivors in post-apocalyptic Pennsylvania. You learn pretty early in the book not to get attached to anyone! There is plenty of violence, so if you’re delicate be sure not to read this right before bed. The descriptions of events were off the charts, such as the spine removal and eye popping.
I developed strong feelings for the characters, both good and bad.
Vorn was a fun one, he is totally unhinged, and right at home in this new world. “When the world ended, Vorn became the version of himself he’d always meant to be.” “He took. He conquered. He killed what got in the way.”
I loved the group of kids (aka “post-apocalyptic Peter Pan fan club” per Abe), sneaking around to survive, and fighting back against the Enforcers. The smoking kid was very amusing, telling Abe he looks like a homeless mall cop. He had great lines.
Wilmer, June with their old dog and horses stuck with me. I won’t say anything more to avoid spoilers.
I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves novels that are action packed, full of adventure, and violence. Each page made me want to know what happens next. I will definitely continue to read this series, and anything else Joseph Sackett writes!

This is book 4 of the series and is a fast paced exciting read ! Roll on book 5 ! Great set of characters starting with Eli who has evolved into a great leader ! He has really come into his own ! As well as the terrifying baddie Vorn ! Just when you thought he couldnt get more scary he proves you wrong ! Some great new characters introduced also , especially the kids ! I would highly recommend to read this series as absolutely brilliant !

This was yet another in a series of great stories. The good characters mostly triumph and deal a lot of karma on the bad folks. I read the first series and frankly I had trouble getting through it. But I am glad I did. I use this phrase a lot but this is a series you just want to keep reading. I finished the latest volume in less than 2 days. joseph is a great writer.

An action-packed romp through blood-soaked streets. Joseph brings us Eli once again in this fourth book and it continues to deliver. Eli must take on Vorn and stop all the crazy. It's full of suspense, terror, and action on every page. It'll keep you turning the pages until the end. Can't wait for the next one.

This is a violent & fast paced story that almost explodes from the first chapter. It includes massive amounts of abuse, sexual as well as violence so readers beware! It is a well written adventure thriller, not for the faint hearted!

I've been enjoying this series! The title, Eli: Among Wolves, is so accurate. Eli is the result of what a man can become when evil people bring chaos and cruelty to enslave and control good people. I recommend this series.

Great read and horrific at the same time Vorn and his wicket ways how he treats people as nothing .
Cant wait for next book as Eli and his friends are closing in with the help of the Children's Army and how resorseful they are just brilliantly written .
