Ice Planet Barbarians Part 5: Truth

Rate this book
Now that I've learned the alien barbarian's language, all the holes are filling in. Ahem. Not like that. Okay, like that, too.

The problems are mounting. The alien abductors are coming back. My fellow human captives are dying as we speak. And the alien hunks? When they claim, it's forever. We've got to decide how to proceed, and soon, because whatever path we choose?

There's no turning back.

Ruby Dixon is an author of Science Fiction Romance. She likes fated mates, baby-filled epilogues, and cinnamon roll heroes. She also likes to write biographies of herself in the third person, because it feels more important that way.

Ruby also loves coffee and dirty books and will probably be a cat lady at some point. :)

This is a Review of The Complete Book:

Actual Rating 3.5

I had fun reading this. It was silly but thoroughly enjoyable.
It's very short so I swallowed it up in one go.

I'll keep reading this series, sometimes we need silly in or lives.

Note to self:
Marking this as read for my readers challenge. I just did a re-read of Barbarians touch, I already read it this year so it took it off my book count for this year when I re-read it.

So, I read The Alien's Mail-Order Bride by this author, and whereas I didn't much care for alien porn (it was my first experience), I was definitely curious about that spur. So, I decided to give the series that the novella was connected to, Ice Planet Barbarians a shot.

I still can't get my head around the alien part. I can't imagine them. I can't find them sexy because I can't see them. And when I picture something, it isn't attractive. Her writing is pretty good, and her world building is tolerable. The translation part needed some more plotting out, but the rest of the world was somewhat built. I could see the planet, just not the alien.

I said it before, I'll say it again. The fact that those spurs don't exist is also proof that intelligent design is bullshit.

Too much plot, not enough smut. Alien porn not my thing.

Vektal is a himbo lmao.

Ugh, I keep saying this, but should've been more thoroughly edited. Easy mistakes to fix were sometimes made (and maybe even a sensitivity read).

But much camp, many fun hehe.

That was so cool that they had the spaceship. And Georgie was very clever.

MY SEXY ALIEN BARBARIAN !!!

WOWZA! I love it! Truth is the fifth installment in the amazing new serial, Ice Planet Barbarians by Ruby Dixon and it totally rocked my world! This is my first time reading Dixon's work but it won't be my last. I am definitely a fan! I just can't get enough of this series! Each new installment gets better than the last and that's saying a lot! If you love science fiction, alien adventure and scorching hot romance, then you will love, love, love this series. The story is exciting, original, inventive, compelling, thrilling, enticing, suspenseful, romantic, seductive, arousing and sensual. The dialogue is smart, sassy, well written and flows effortlessly. The characters are imaginative, captivating, engaging, sexy and at times, laugh out loud funny. When you put all this together, you get one heck of a great read! I'm not one to give spoilers but I will say this - Sexy blue alien-check! Beautiful sassy earth woman-check! Alien Ice Planet-check! Evil malevolent aliens-check! Danger, alien abduction, adventure, drama, edge of your seat suspense, humor and a little snark-check! Romance and steamy alien sexy-you betcha! Oh my! Buckle up my lovelies! It's one heck of a great ride! Oh my! This series just gets better and better! I can hardly wait for Part Six! Fabulous entertainment and an awesome read!

After discovering a spaceship behind some ice Georgie pushes a button and a talking computer speaks and teaches her about Vektol and his people and she is able to learn the language so they can speak and understand each other! Score! They finally make it back to his people and they are really intrigued and confused and are curious about the other women. Georgie isn't having it though. She doesnt want them to be forced into mating..well not forced but coerced. She wants it to be their decision. If Georgie and the others dont get a symbiot then they wont survive the planet. I guess you can call it a host or parasite in a way. Anyways, she informs him she wants to go home and this saddens him. I felt bad for him. One hand I get what she is saying since shes been through all this stuff. On the other hand she knowingly has this bond with him and continues to be with him. Did she not think what would happen to him if she left? Kinda selfish in a way. Of course now theres a pretty good chance she's pregnant and she kinda flips out. Its not really his fault because they couldnt communicate at that point and had already been intimate. *sighs* lol

Fantastic Read

The drama continues as the story goes on and the characters are so awesome. Wandering if , Georgie and Vektal, will stay together and if she is pregnant. Will the males from his tribe find their mates with the other women when they are all rescued? Very anxious to read the last part.!
