The colony has been devastated. No one could have foreseen the ferocity of the seismic event the colonists and Earthers had feared. The hostilities that had been simmering finally erupted along with the planet itself, though new-formed alliances proved just as strong. The peaceful life the Zeroes had enjoyed for generations no longer existed.
This was more than two years ago.
The colonists have struggled to rebuild their lives, Earthers and Zeroes working side by side to survive. Not all have lived through the suffering but the colony endures, and hope for the future starts to take root.
Then from the stillness of space, a transport ship arrives. It is not carrying Zeroes condemned to exile; it is carrying soldiers.

Great beginning to series II. It does all that a series opener should. We see the aftermath of the natural disaster that brought series 1 to a finish. The story ends with an exciting cliff-hanger which introduces a new conflict for series II.
