Snow White is missing. When the star of the Moose River community theater’s production goes missing, Daisy is reluctantly drawn to the case – and not just because her two youngest daughters have been cast in the play. Nothing adds up about the girl’s disappearance, including the fact that the local police aren’t too interested in pursuing the case. The more Daisy digs, the more suspects come to light. The director’s primadonna daughter, who was passed over for the lead. The director herself, who might have had a change of heart over her casting choice. And a local cheer coach, who has reasons of her own for wanting Snow White gone. The stakes are raised when Daisy finds herself banned from the theater. Daisy is determined to discover where Snow White is, ready to take a bite of the poison apple or fight with the wicked witch if that's what it takes. Because the show must go on.

I am so hooked on this series! It's so true to life as a blended family navigates its way through crazy day-to-day challenges of dealing with teenage angst, petty squabbling between siblings and, oh yeah, a mystery. One of the things I love most is that the mysteries are not all finding dead bodies. I mean, how realistic was it that every week Jessica Fletcher stumbled over another cadaver in quiet Cabot Cove? Really! Between missing computers and missing teens you can keep the whodunit without massacring a whole town. Besides that, Jeff's whacky mind brings out the most absurd scenarios which leave you giggling even if you are busy wondering whether the Gillian will really try to use that weapon. Thanks, Jeff, for another great read.
Just love the relationship between Jake and Daisy! It's so easy going and they both love each other and their blended family. Love how each character has their own identity and brings something unique to the storyline.
This is the fourth book I have read in this series. The minute I finish a book I order the next one. I have enjoyed each book and could not wait for the next one. These books are easy read and enjoyable.
