If she's going to be haunted by anyone, it's going to be him.

Olivia Lowe is used to being a fantasy. To the men who watch her stream every night, she’s Ghost. Beautiful, untouchable, forever out of reach. In the real world, the haunting has become literal. Someone is watching her, and it’s escalating. With nowhere left to run, she’s forced to go to the man she’s spent the last six years hating, the same one she blames for her sister’s death.

Jamie Keighley is a king with a crumbled throne. Better known as Phantom, he’s the leader of No Quarter, a fallen empire that he’s trying to rebuild. He doesn’t have the time to babysit a woman who hates him. But he’s a man who operates by a code and hates losing.

Phantom drags Olivia into his clubhouse and under the protection of him and his boys. The arrangement is she stays safe, and she stays put. But when Ghost tries to step back into the spotlight of her camera, Phantom’s control snaps. What starts as a means of keeping her brand alive turns into something else entirely when he inserts himself into the frame, skewing the line between performance and reality.

As the line between hate and hunger blurs, Olivia starts to feel at home in the No Quarter clubhouse. But secrets have a way of never staying buried, and the truth about her sister is one thing even a king can’t kill.

Haunted is an enemies-to-lovers, forced proximity dark romance.

DEVOURED!! That’s what happened yesterday and early into the morning today, because I COULD. NOT. PUT. THIS. DOWN!!!

Haunted is my second encounter with Indigo Queen, my first being Aliens Are Out There…And So Is She, and this was different but equally delicious! Indigo writes some of the best chemistry and banter between MCs, that you can’t help but keep reading to see what the characters are going to do next.

I loved that Olivia and Jamie started as enemies who were forced to be around each other so she could stay safe from a stalker. I love a good forced proximity, especially when they’re enemies!! I loved how at no point did this derail Olivia for fighting back with him, giving it back as good as he did, even though she was depending on him for protection. I loved watching the lines blur between them, especially when it involved her camming 😉Their inability to name how each of them felt but it being clearly palpable and known by all was so delicious!!

I also really liked the found family in this one! Prince has my eye and I can’t wait for his story. And Ruin, Ruin, Ruin. Are you going to ruin me?? Probably!! But I’ll eat up every moment of it.

Thank you Indigo Queen for the eARC! The thoughts and opinions expressed above are honest and my own.

4.5 stars!

Wow, loved this. I first discovered Indigo Queen from Aliens are out There… and so is she. Haunted is nothing like this 😂 but I loved it nonetheless!

It’s extremely steamy and has some trigger warnings at the start that I’d recommend checking out before reading.

I fell in love with the No Quarter boys (Prince might be my fave so will be preordering his book!). I loved reading Phantom and Ghost’s story and thought Ghost’s line of work was written really well.

Thanks so much for an arc of this book and looking forward for the series to continue!

Dark, twisty, and exactly what I love about this universe.

I do have a lot of feels about the ending. It felt a little rushed, but there are more coming… so it still gets 4 stars because I see more resolution in the future for these characters.

I’m so glad they got more story after Shoot!

Uhm, wow. When a Ghostie and Phantom come out to play things gets spicy!!

Haunted is a ferocious enemies to lovers MC romance that has it all, danger, desire, and found family loyalty. Olivia is a cam girl who is a survivor and has a refusal to be handled. Phantom, Jaime to the few people allowed close, is the MC president, all lethal calm and territorial intensity. They clash instantly. She thinks he’s arrogant and impossible. He thinks she’s trouble wrapped in temptation. They’re both right.

The suspense is gripping from the start. Olivia has an anonymous admirer whose attention shifts from unsettling to dangerous fast, and Phantom steps in, not because she wants him to, but because he refuses to let anything touch her on his watch. The forced proximity hits hard when she’s moved into his space for protection. One house and one man trying very badly not to want her.

Their chemistry is feral.
Their banter is basically foreplay.
Their dynamic is a perfect blend of “I don’t need you” and “I’m going to protect you anyway.”

And then there’s the MC world with Ruin, Prince, and the whole chaotic brotherhood. The group scene with his buddies is wild, filthy, and somehow still threaded with intense loyalty.

What made Haunted really linger for me was how soft Phantom is beneath the brutality, how Olivia’s stubborn strength becomes something he respects instead of tries to control. She’s messy, human, and heartbreakingly resilient. He’s the kind of man who will burn the world down for the woman he swears he doesn’t care about. Together they’re combustible.

“This girl. This stubborn, irritating, unholy combination of hot and maddening.”

Indigo writes the kind of gritty, deeply human characters that don’t just feel relatable, they feel utterly real. Her stories always carry this raw emotional pulse, the sense that every bruise, every choice, every moment of softness has weight. Haunted is exactly that kind of book because it’s sharp, dirty, tender, and absolutely unforgettable.

A huge thank you to Indigo Queen for the early copy! Can’t want for the next book in the No Quarter series.

Haunted is a dark enemies to lovers romance written by @indigoqueenwrites

TROPES :
Forced Proximity
Enemies to lovers
Found family
Cam girl and MC Prez

CHARACTERS:

FMC: Olivia Lowe is a strong-willed and fiercely independent FMC; she works as a cam girl and fights against the stereotypes that come along with being a cam girl. Despite being a strong-headed woman, she sometimes struggles with her emotions and past trauma, but in the end, I feel like every girl or woman wants someone who would love her despite everything.

MMC: oooh okay, so his name is Jamie, and yes, he has long hair, and he is both hot and hot headed too,uhm and well, he runs an underground fighting ring basically (read the book if you want to know more hehe)

REVIEW :
Overall i think i loved this book this was my second tie reading a dark romance where the fmc was a cam girl and i really loved how confident she was and i also loved how the author portrayed the struggles she faced being a cam girl it was actually on like a realistic level which was, honestly a little tough to read, specially with the way her parents treated her that was like something yk. Coming to a light note i think i loved olivia very much but at times i think she was a little meannn butr yes she had every right to and i loved how she was always sassing jamie around and well jamie, obviously is hot headed but loyal to his family to a fault aand i loved the dynamics in the beginning of the book because there was clearluyu some tension and chemistry going on but then again there was so many reasons they couldnt be together at that time and it just made everything so much more good. Also, I felt so bad ruin and that he just went away. Like, get it, it was only good because he did some really bad things, but I had liked him at some point for some reason, and I also loved Prince, he was just so sweet. So yeah, overall I loved the book, and I would definitely recommend it to you. Go get your copy!!!

Wow, what a book! This book is very, very spicy! Like, actually very spicy. I found myself to be very entertained throughout this whole book; that’s why I was able to read this book within two hours and one sitting!

I love the chemistry in the banter between Phantom and Ghost, or should I say Jamie and Olivia! It was very great. I love the connection between the two, and I love how they interact with one another. The spice between the two was great too, even though I sometimes think it can be a little bit excessive with the spice. Because I feel like the spice was a big part of the book.

We follow our main character, Olivia, who is an adult content creator. Thus why explains the reason why she has a stalker who follows her and takes photos of her everywhere that she goes. So she is pretty scared and spoken to by her stalker. Luckily, she does have these three guys: Phantom, Prince, and Ruin, who are there to kind of help assist with her stalker and protect her in a way. Mainly phantom is the one who protects her from the said stalker. And he is the main love interest.

Olivia’s family does not approve of her job and so kind of leaves her out of the family, and so they all lost that connection with one another. Another big part of Olivia’s story was the death of her sister. Her sister was killed by a mysterious person yet to be revealed, and so she is also marked with vengeance for her sister’s killer.

Definitely a very dark book and a very, very spicy book. There is one particular scene where she does take on three of the guys together and it’s pretty wild and pretty crazy, very, very filthy.

ARC Review for Haunted by Indigo Queen (Released Sept 4th!):

Fast paced and packed with actions of all kinds 😉

I always love when the authors put a playlist at the start of the book. Its so satisfying to listen to the music that can put you in the mood to ultimately devour an amazing read.

I had goosebumps reading this book, it was so good. I didnt foresee the ending at all, I couldnt believe the twist!

The banter between the two characters is immediate and makes you look so much more to the spice. Just going to say please check the trigger warnings before reading.

Jamie/Phantom sounds so hot! Possessive, protective, and a New Zealand accent? 😍 He was my absolute favorite out of the guys.

Olive is confident, sassy, and really funny. As someone who used to have blue hair, I love the fact she has it. I knew the overall pairing of the book, but the tension between her and the male characters was so good at certain moments that I truly didn't know who I wanted her with more. 🤭

There's a note that the characters in this were introduced in another book, Shoot, but it wasn't necessary to read to understand Haunted. I hadn't read it before reading Haunted, but it was noted that it gave backstory to the characters and their dynamics. I actually recommend reading Shoot first because for me it felt like I was always missing something as I read. I will go back and read it at some point, because i need more of this world.

A huge thank you to Indigo Queen for allowing me to read and trusting me with this amazing ARC!

I’m so thankful to Indigo for letting me be a beta reader for this book! If she writes it, I will buy it and read it! I was hoping to see more of Olivia and the No Quarter boys after reading Shoot, so to say I was excited when I started this is an understatement. We all love a morally grey man who will do anything to protect those he loves, and Jamie (aka Phantom) and the boys fit that role perfectly. I love a man with an accent, and I’ve said it before, but Indigo knows how to write a man with an accent and a dirty mouth. Some authors toss in a phrase here or there, but she actually gives you a character that you not only read but hear in your head speaking the accent. That takes some talent.
I loved the banter and sexual tension so thick you could cut it with a knife (😉 iykyk), and this delivered on every level. I loved Olivia’s story, how she owned herself and the fact that she’s a cam girl, and didn’t shy away from it. I loved Jamie in the previous Breaking Kayfabe books when he made an appearance, you could just picture yourself climbing him like a tree. He’s a badass with a big heart who will fight to the death to protect his “family”. Favorite line? “A ghost.”Jamie repeats, like he's testing the words out. He leans forward, pressing his forehead against mine, “But I see you.”. ❤️
Read all the trigger warnings as always before reading, and get ready for your next favorite group of morally grey book boyfriends.

Thank you, Indigo Queen, for this eARC!
This is the first book I have read by Indigo Queen, and I have to say it did not disappoint.
This book follows Olivia, who is a cam girl with a stalker who has slowly started to go from watching her from the shadows and sending her messages to becoming more of a threat than Olivia would like. Asking for help, she goes under the protection of Jamie, the leader of No Quarter, the ones she blames for her sister's death.
The chemistry between Olivia and Jamie is electric, with him inserting himself into her videos and becoming more possessive of her throughout the book. Both characters are stubborn and hot-headed, neither wanting to compromise on decisions made when it comes to Olivia’s safety. The more she stays with the No Quarter, the more truth she uncovers about what happened to her sister.
I really enjoyed this story, and I absolutely loved the side characters. The spice was very on point, and as it was a part of Olivia's job, it did not feel like the scenes were just thrown in. There is one foursome scene that I felt was a little off but it worked anyways. I will definitely be checking out the next book in the series when it comes out.

This was such a messy, angsty, spicy ride! The FMC is an online sex worker who finds herself dealing with an increasingly dangerous stalker, forcing her to turn to her dead sister’s ex-fiancé, the very man she believes played a part in her sister’s death, for help.

From there, you get betrayal, anger, trauma, secrets, and plenty of action as she starts uncovering the truth about what really happened. I really enjoyed watching the group dynamics unravel as more information came to light, especially when the truth started affecting everyone involved. There are also club initiations, plenty of danger, and LOTS of spice. 🥵

The story itself wrapped up pretty well, but I’m definitely hoping the next book gives us more of Jamie and Olivia’s future. And I NEED to know what happened to Ronon after he left! Overall, this was a dramatic, emotional, spicy read with plenty of secrets and enough chaos to keep me invested.

Haunted
✨ARC Review✨

I have read a few books from Indigo Queen starting with Aliens are out there and so is She and now Haunted. After reading a mix of her books, it highlights just how talented of a writer she is and how versatile she is as a creator. Thank you Indigo Queen for granting me with another ARC. I can’t wait to see what you come out with next!

Haunted is a series starter with connection to Britany and Grim in Shoot. It follows Olivia (FMC) a cam girl and Phantom (MMC) the leader of No Quarter. Olive has been working as a cam girl and begins to receive photos and messages from an unknown stalker that causes her to seek protection from the boys of No Quarter even though they are the last people she wants help from. While seeking refuge she builds relationships she didn’t expect and uncovers secrets she was never meant to learn.

What I enjoyed about this book:
- 👩‍❤️‍👨 the chemistry
- 💬 the banter
- 😡 the realistic arguments (no misunderstanding trope here)

Wow, wow, wow‼️🤯

I absolutely 💯 devoured this book‼️ The darkest of dark romances, so be sure to check your triggers. But this story the plot, the spice, and the way that I was trying my hardest to figure out who the heck was Olivia’s stalker‼️ I eventually had it and then curve balls were thrown and misdirection galore 😆

But the spicy spice enemies to lovers and the way that Jamie (Phantom) didn’t want to change Olivia (Ghost) he just wanted to be in her orbit, the dark delicious way these two fell for each other was NEXT level‼️

I am so excited and need more of Olivia and the No Quarter boys🖤

Tropes:
🖤Enemies to Lovers
☠️Forced Proximity
🖤Found Family
☠️Spicy
🖤MC Romance
☠️Cam Girl x MC Prez

Jamie and Olivia both have nicknames with secretive jobs. Jamie runs the No Quarter, a private organization. Olivia finds herself with a stalker and the only one who can protect her is the man she hates the most. Honestly, I loved the hatred between them because it built up so good for when they finally let themselves go. The chemisty between them is undeniable, even if they are too stubborn to admit it.

There is nothing better than a protective and possessive man with an accent. Jamie knows how to use his mouth in more ways than one 🥵

Thank you so much Indigo Queen for an ARC of this book 💖

3.5/4

I appreciate the sex positivity of this book. Not super often you get that without a 75% side of shaming.

Enjoyed the characters and plot. Sebastian needs a book because thought he only appeared a few times, I love him lol

Now, the major conflict. I’m a little angry that it didn’t extend to book 2. That was some serious shit and it just felt too easy of an acceptance. I know **** left and I’m glad he’s aware of what that actually was that happened between them all, but I can also see his redemption hopefully being well done.

I was not surprised by the stalker, kinda felt that immediately. However, did not expect THAT character to die.

Olivia is protected by Jamie, the leader of a motorcycle club, when she is stalked by someone who is watching her streams. Olivia is stubborn and intelligent which helped her keep Jamie on his toes. Jamie is charming, loyal, and gives people a home. I enjoyed reading this book and loved the characters. This is book one in the No Quarter series and I can't wait for the next book. I recommend this book for readers who enjoy a dark romance with motorcycle clubs, enemies to lovers, and cam girls. Voluntary ARC review.

Haunted is book 1 in the No Quarter series and is a dark romance, spicy, mc president, cam girl, enemies to lovers story.
Olivia is a cam girl known as ghost who is currently being stalked and the stalker is escalating in his tactics. She is forced to turn to Jamie, better known as Phantom, for help. The problem with this is that Jamie is basically her enemy. She holds him responsible for the death of her sister. But when Phantom drags Olivia to his clubhouse in order of protection by him and his boys, Phantoms control is tested to every limit. The tension between these two is sooo intense.
Phantom was definitely my favorite character of the two... Olivia was jut giving me "dumb girl" vibes sometimes. However the story does get a little dark, and very, very spicy. Can't wait for the next book in the series.

The writing is beautiful and intense, and the setup is great — a stalked content creator and a motorcycle club leader with strong enemies‑to‑lovers vibes.

My only issue was the realism. The drug mentions and darker elements were a bit too realistic for me and made it harder to stay in the story. Not bad writing at all, just not my comfort zone.

Fans of dark romance with real‑world aspects will probably enjoy this one. It just wasn’t fully for me.

ARC DISCLAIMER: I received a free ARC of this book from the author. This review is voluntary and reflects my honest opinion.

can i be honest? this is my first ever dark romance... and what an intro to the genre! dark, raunchy, filthy, dangerous, and smutty, with characters you hate to love. she’s being stalked and he’s been hired to protect her, but they hate each other and he may be responsible for the biggest trauma of her life. bloody and sexy chaos ensues. I received Haunted as an ARC and here is my honest opinion. In broad strokes the book was a fun read. Getting down to the details, I felt the book was repetitive but left too much story open. I had a hard time fumbling through all the different accents in my head and I really didn’t find any of the characters exceptionally likable. Overall I am grateful that I had a chance to read this book but I don’t think I would be invested enough to follow up on the characters in the future.

Actually 6⭐️! Indigo is an absolute FORCE when it comes to writing. This had every ounce of spice, adrenaline, fear, and love that a girl needs in a book. I'm completely obsessed with the No Quarter world. I was completely obsessed with both Olivia and Jamie from the very start. I need more immediately, and I know when we get more, it's gonna be KILLER🔥

I liked this book a lot not that we can go wrong with a potato loving FMC and a kiwi MMC that just makes me swoon. The story was very well written and I really enjoyed the development of the characters and the plot. Everyone was beautifully developed and I loved reading about characters originally not from America. Was a solid read and would greatly recommend.

Hot. Dirty. Mysterious.

I quite enjoyed Haunted. The plot dynamic is different from the typical Dark Romance. Phantom and Ghost are broken little humans trying their damndest not to let their pieces fit together.

Ghost and Phantom coming in hot!
Olivia finds herself in a dangerous situation when a stalker shows up, and she ends up stuck being babysat by the man she hates.
But we all know the saying.. love and hate are two sides of the same blade.
Haunted was dark, emotional and face paced action from start to finish.
The first in the No Quarters series, you can be sure I will be back for more.
Check your triggers and enjoy the ride.
Thankyou so much to the author for this arc. All thoughts and opinions are my own

I had the chance to read an ARC of Haunted by Indigo Queen, and this one definitely brought all the spooky, dark, and emotional vibes. 🖤 There’s something about this story that pulls you in and keeps you wanting to know what’s going to happen next. I loved getting lost in the atmosphere, the tension, and the characters’ journey without knowing where the story would take me.

If you’re looking for a book with a darker feel, plenty of emotion, and a story that keeps you turning the pages, Haunted is definitely one to add to your TBR!

A highly spicy, definitely dark romance that has a strong FMC and a protective MMC. What’s not to love? Olivia is getting stalked and has to turn to Phantom, head of the No Quarter MC and the one man she hates most, in order to protect her. Overall this was an enjoyable read with some great secondary characters. This book does not shy away from darker themes or more non-conventional spice so I would heed the trigger warnings, but if you’re down to clown it was a good time.
I’m definitely looking forward to book two!
Rating: 3.75 stars
Spice: 4.5 chili peppers

What I loved:
-I think Olivia’s line of work was treated with respect and was well written.
-I enjoyed all of the MCs. They all had distinct personalities and that can sometimes be hard to pull off with multiple MCs of the same gender.
-The spice. Sometimes reading traditional spice gets a bit boring and this definitely is outside the box!

What didn’t work so well for me:
-I wanted to see more MC operation. This is what makes up Phantom’s, Ruin’s, and Prince’s whole lives but I feel like there’s pretty limited scenes that are explicitly about the MC and are unrelated to Olivia so you don’t get a great feel for the MMCs personalities relating to club operations and it feels like this aspect of the story could’ve been utilized more.
-Relatedly, for being an MC that’s willing/able to break laws, I feel like they didn’t really do anything about Olivia’s stalker. It was kind of like “this guy is dangerous” but other than trying to guard Olivia it seemed like not much was done.
-Olivia and Phantom’s relationship never felt like they hated each other. We get told, rather than shown, that they don’t like one another. They bicker, but it always came off as banter and/or they were always attracted to each other so I wasn’t sold on the hating each other part.

Thank you to author Indigo Queen for my ARC ✨
