He has wanted Windsor forever but had decided that she wasn't in the right mind space for him. He thinks now she finally is. He offers his ranch as the location for a movie that Windsor is being offered the starring role. Can he show her that he's the right person for her and that his ranch is the right place for her? I really like how Silas has been patient in waiting for Windsor and knowing that she's the right person for him. Windsor is finally at the right place in her life and career to accept that she doesn't need all the trappings of Hollywood. She begins to fall in love with Silas and his ranch. She really sees Silas for the man he is - the right man for her. I received an copy from the author and I'm leaving my honest review.

Love this author, but for me this didn’t hit the mark. I found the storyline tonwanting , although there was plenty of hot romantic scenes. To me that’s all there was. Little substance and not a lot of anything else. Yes you had two dominant characters Windsor a actress who had been in the business for years,, from the age of 8 years, and Silas that had moved out of the acting circle to a sprawling ranch, that he offered up for use as a film set, on the understanding that both he and Win to have the leading roles. Yes there were other characters that never really developed but danced around the perimeter of the story. Yes there was a sub plot that never really came to much, but interest was lacking for me. Would it deter me from reading any other material by this author no. You cannot please everyone all the time, and until now I have enjoyed her stories. It was well written and edited, but for me content lacking.

Ms March’s characters are great, & certainly familiar if you’ve read her previous books. There’s been a lamentably distinct shift in her novels after she took some time off. All of the novels written after the break have little, if any, plot. Character development only goes so far.

This book is advertised to be how Silas & Win got together. Unfortunately there was more of a plot between them when they were minor characters in a previous novel.

This same thing happened with Ms. March’s Resurrection novel: some character development, a lot of geography description, and minimal plot. It’s an unfortunate trend, because her earlier novels had great plots.

Fingers crossed that her future novels focus on plot, rather than on empty character development.
