The spare daughter was invisible… until a dangerous president made her the center of his world.

The Mayor of Meadow Falls has been circling my club for months, looking for a reason to push us out.

So I decided to send a message he can’t ignore. Sneak into his world and take his precious daughter.

It’s a plan I’ve been preparing for months, polishing it until it was flawless. Acting it out is far more complicated.

I find two daughters. One I was sent to grab, one I can’t tear my eyes away from.

Margot isn’t the target, but she steps between me and what I came for anyway, looking at me like she isn’t afraid. Like she doesn’t understand what men like me do.

I should leave her behind. Instead, I take her too.

Because the second she’s in my hands, something I’ve never felt before snaps into place. Steelwood is no longer my number one priority.

It’s the woman who has wrapped her fingers around my heart without realizing it.

I’m the spare daughter. The one no one looks at twice, let alone knows exists.

My father has always had a favorite, my beautiful twin sister Madalyn.

That’s fine. I built my own life in the background, filled with quiet hobbies.

No one notices me. That’s how I like it. Until Dante shows up.

He wasn’t supposed to take me. Now, I’m trapped with a man who looks at me like I’m something worth keeping.

He corners me against walls instead of letting me hide against them. He says I’m beautiful, like it’s a fact he refuses to argue with.

Every time he touches me, it feels less like captivity… and more like being picked first.

I tell myself this is temporary. That men like him don’t keep women like me after a job is done.

But Dante doesn’t look like a man planning to let me go.

He looks like a man who’s already decided I’m his.

Steelwood MC - Meadow Falls features darker themes throughout. Each book can be read in any order, and all conclude with a happily ever after guarantee!

The Kidnapping Surprise

Dante is the President of the Steelwood MC and his mission was to kidnap the mayor’s daughter to help expose the dirty mayor. Dante surprisingly finds more than one daughter and is totally taken by the one he wasn’t expecting. As the tension rises for the club the men stick by each other and protect those they love. This was an awesome MC romance full of steam, surprises and finding the one you love.

Dante’s plan goes awry when he finds two targets instead of one to get the Club’s revenge. I really enjoyed the storyline as Dante falls for the curvy beauty of Margot. A kidnapping gone from wrong to right, undeniable chemistry, sibling sacrifice, MC brotherhood moments, protectiveness, danger, realizations and a beautiful HEA. Cannot wait for the next book in this series.

This was such a fun, intense read! I loved this book and the instant connection between the characters. The age gap and over-the-top possessive biker vibes make it an unputdownable dark romance. Highly recommend!

Dante is one of those books that grabs your attention immediately and refuses to let go. Packed with danger, possessive romance, found family, and unforgettable moments of tenderness, this Steelwood MC installment delivers a story that's equal parts intense, heartfelt, and impossible to put down.

Margot stole my heart from the very beginning. Living as the overlooked twin, constantly treated as though she didn't matter, she's spent years believing she was destined to remain invisible. Watching someone finally see her—not as an afterthought, but as the most important person in the room—made every page incredibly satisfying.

Dante is everything you'd hope for in a protective MC president. Scarred, commanding, and completely devoted once his heart is captured, he may have entered the mayor's home with one mission, but the second he meets Margot, everything changes. His unwavering determination to protect her and remind her of her worth creates a romance that's both swoon-worthy and fiercely passionate.

I loved how quickly Dante recognized what everyone else had overlooked. While the world kept pushing Margot into the background, he never questioned her value for a second. His certainty becomes exactly what she needs to begin believing in herself, making their relationship feel both exciting and deeply rewarding.

The suspense surrounding the kidnapping, Dante's conflict with the mayor, and the danger facing the club keeps the story moving at a fast pace, while moments of humor and the strong brotherhood within Steelwood MC provide welcome balance. The found-family atmosphere is one of my favorite parts of the series, and it shines here just as brightly as the romance.

One of the most satisfying aspects of the story is that it never loses sight of hope. Despite the darker themes, the heart of the novel is about finding a place where you're accepted, protected, and loved without conditions. Seeing Margot go from believing she was someone's regret to becoming the center of Dante's world made the happily-ever-after feel completely earned.

If you enjoy dark MC romances, possessive protectors, love at first sight, found family, high-stakes danger, and stories where someone who has spent a lifetime feeling overlooked finally discovers what it means to be treasured, Dante is a book you won't want to miss. It's intense, heartfelt, and a wonderful reminder that sometimes the greatest gift isn't being rescued—it's finally being chosen first.

This book had a lot of potential, but it didn’t get there. The concept was interesting- a secret twin and Dante kidnapping both twins and falling in love with the hidden one, Margot. But the hidden twin aspect needed more exploration because it was very superficial, although we do know that she was, for some reason, an amateur seamstress-fashion designer, which had nothing to do with the story. I think it was included in an attempt to make Margot interesting. Spoiler alert: it didn’t work.
The love story between Dante and Margot felt forced. It started out promising, with a decent Instalove and an excellent kidnapping. Margot was protective of her sister, and that showed personality (unlike a lot of the rest of the book). Dante was dashing and hot and we got some backstory about his introduction to Casper. But the chemistry was unconvincing. The sexytime was very IKEA (i.e. it read like furniture instructions, especially the bits about the fingers). And the pacing was off. The couple have gotten hot and heavy and are about to go for the big payoff when the fit hits the shan, and they are interrupted by plot (which was awkwardly written, with mostly telling rather than showing). After the plot infodump and the resolution, time passes because of plot aftermath: they have to let events unfold and detailing all of the minutiae would have been boring as heck. But still a time lapse, and in the meantime, Dante and Margot have not consummated their relationship, despite being in what is described as a honeymoon-like period. The only reason that I can see as to why they waited was simply because the author wanted the first consummation to be on page. That’s it. That’s the reason. It didn’t make sense for the plot, the romance, the characters, or the pacing. It also fizzled rather than sizzled, and I was disappointed because I know from reading some of their other books, Stone can write hot sexytime.
I was really disappointed in this book. I usually like Stone’s writing, but this was a miss.

Dante by Julia Stone is the seventh title in the Steelwood MC - Meadow Falls series and as a steamy small town, protective alpha, age gap, instalove, biker romance, it had me hooked quickly with Dante the MC president, and Margot, the mayor's hidden daughter.
With a captivating plot and storyline that contained kidnapping, drama, suspense and a simmering slow burn romance, it kept me turning the pages right through to the end.
The mayor of Meadow Falls has been circling the MC and Dante and his brothers hatch a plan to kidnap his daughter in order to send a message to back off. What should have been a quick and quiet in and out to capture the daughter ends up a two for one deal when Dante is confronted by the twin sister Margot in an attempt to protect her sister.
Dante, scarred and focused on protecting his brothers and the MC is struck down by the beautiful curvy Margot and from then on its a battle of restraint to keep his attraction and desire under control all the while quietly protecting and choosing Margot until she feels comfortable and safe.
Margot is the daughter that has been hidden from the world and overlooked but the unconventional opportunity and attraction she immediately feels for the gruff biker enables her to find herself and experience feeling chosen and treasured adding a warm emotional feel to this biker romance.
The chemistry between Dante and Margot is instant but action and circumstances through the story make it a high heat slow burn connection that explores Margot’s quiet strength and loyalty to her sister and Dante’s dominant presence slowly revealing a fierce devotion and protectiveness that makes the build up to the well deserved HEA completely satisfying.
I look forward to the rest of the titles in this series.

Dante and Margot . . .

Edward Ashford, the Mayor of Meadow Falls, is determined to get rid of the Steelwood motorcycle club and is relentless in trying to make that happen soon. Rather than endure the harassment, Dante has his own "message" for Ashford guaranteed to get his attention. He plans to kidnap the man's precious daughter, the one he "puts on a pedestal", Madalyn Ashford. When their plan gets underway, Madalyn didn't appear to be mingling with the crowd of people, so Dante has to search for her. He goes outside to find an open window and climbs into an empty room in the mansion. When he steps into the hallway and spots a guard further down, he immediately slips inside the nearest room. Things turns a bit complicated, however, when he realizes he just found TWO daughters. Madalyn was crying on the bed as a woman with blonde hair and similar features knelt in front of her. Dante orders his crew, who have been monitoring everything, to cut the house feed as a distraction. When Madalyn's apparent sister captured his attention as she stepped forward to defend Madalyn, he made the immediate decision to take both of them and used the distraction his men made to escape out the window with his captives.

Margot has always been ignored by everyone, treated as if she didn't exist. But she is captured by a man who sees her as special, the one he wants to keep for himself. He has no plans to ever let her go and he wants her in his life forever. But will she feel the same? Or will some kind of "rescue" take her back to the terrible home she came from where no one ever acknowledges or cares about her? Is there a future of love together waiting for them, or will they lose each other in the powerplay as Ashford's men come to rescue Madalyn?

Unexpected Love Out of a Complicated -
Dante got the shock of his life when he went to kidnap a young lady and discovered there was a twin he didn’t know existed. Margot on the other hand was used to the way she was treated by her family, but she wasn’t going to allow her twin sister to be kidnapped by herself. However, Margot was shocked when Dante continuously not only showed interest in her, but also expressed his desire to get to know more about her life.

Nevertheless, it didn’t take long for Margot family to take action, but she wasn’t shocked with the way they were dealing with the kidnapping. Dante’s attraction for Margot kept increasing the more time they spent together, but uncovering the dirty secret her family her family was keeping, made him and his club brothers really upset. Unfortunately, Margot’s family decided to take action against Dante, which led to her coming forward to do everything possible to help him.

Once the situation was resolved, Margot and Dante decided to take a chance to work together to build the life that they wanted. I feel like I have just been on an emotional rollercoaster ride after reading this intriguing story, that was filled with drama, family angst, action, romance and an important message about trust. I have to say, it was very satisfying seeing Margot finally get picked first instead of having to live in her sister’s shadow for years because she was curvy. If you are looking for your next exciting read, then look no further than this book.

Dante has a plan in mind, one to take down the Mayor; he just needs to abduct his daughter, Madalyn. But what he wasn't planning on was seeing double. Now his plan has changed because Margot is the one he can't let go.

Margot feels protective of her sister Madalyn, even though Madalyn has been the poster daughter for their father to have by his side; Margot has been kept behind closed doors, hidden from the world. But that changed with Dante; Dante sees her first, wants what is best for her first, something she is not used to.

Dante has always put his club first. Always planning, strategising, and making sure the club is protected. But Margot challenges that order. He finds he wants to put her first, to be with her, to spend time getting to know her. He knows he has fallen hard. Can a man like him have something so sweet and innocent like Margot?

Dante and Margot must face the threat her father is head on. For Margot to have her life back, and for her father to face the consequences of all his past actions.

I absolutely loved this book! From the very beginning, Dante and Margot had me completely invested in their story. Margot was such an easy character to root for, and seeing her grow in confidence as someone finally saw her worth was incredibly satisfying.

Dante was the perfect protective, possessive hero. Beneath his tough exterior was a man who would do anything for the woman he loved, and I couldn’t get enough of the way he treated Margot. Their chemistry was fantastic, and the slow-building romance felt natural amidst all the danger and suspense.

The MC backdrop, family drama, and emotional moments kept the story moving at a great pace, making it difficult to put down. With memorable characters, plenty of action, and a heartwarming happily ever after, this was another fantastic addition to the Steelwood MC world.

I can’t wait to read the next book in the series!.

And we finally get Dante's story! He is looking to avenge his pain from a local politician and his plan starts with kidnapping his daughter. However when he enters the room he finds two girls, one is his target, the other the one who captivates him at first sight.

He takes them with him and gives them his apartment to stay without hurting them, but learning more of Margot as they spend time together. She is a puzzle as she doesn't exist in the world, she is the spare sister to the gem he was breeding. He cannot believe that she has lived in the shadows -especially after a kidnapping- and wants to make sure she understands that she is seen. WHen her sister leaves with the boyfriend, she decides to stay and explore the feelings he starts.

A great MC story that brings a bit of suspense, passion, and the development of a woman who goes from hidden/spare to the star of her own love story.

I absolutely loved Dante! This story pulled me in right away with its intense setup, protective hero, and emotional romance between Dante and Margot. Margot’s journey from feeling overlooked to being seen, chosen, and treasured made the romance feel especially satisfying, and Dante’s fierce devotion gave the story that irresistible, high-stakes biker romance energy.

The chemistry is fast, bold, and full of emotion, with just the right amount of danger to keep the pages turning. I really enjoyed the contrast between Margot’s quiet strength and Dante’s commanding presence, and their connection made the happily-ever-after feel earned and deeply rewarding. If you enjoy dark, possessive, instalove MC romances with a devoted hero and a heroine who finally gets the love she deserves, this is a fantastic read!.

This book is part of Steelwood MC - Meadow Falls series. Dante is the scarred president of Steelwood MC and has a vengeance against the mayor. Planning to kidnap the mayor's precious daughter Madelyn he gets a surprise when he discovers a hidden daughter Margot. I wanted to wrap Margot in a hug. Shes been kept inside for years by her father but her love for her sister is strong. Dante and Margot were perfect for each other. The book kept me intrigued and I definitely didn't want to put it down. Even though it had some heavy themes there was humor that kept me smiling throughout the read. Love the brotherhood and find family aspect. Another favorite in the series.

Loved the love at first sight on Dante's side. He immediately feels something for neglected Margot. What a life to be regarded as a REGRET for poor Margot. To make matters more horrendous, she is a twin with someone who is treated like a perfect gem. So glad the evil mayor did not ruin the relationship between the sisters at least. I would have liked to see how Margot ultimately helped exactly and read the fall out/expressions on the mayor's face when he realized what Margot did. Loved that Margot was chosen first and that Dante got his old lady. It was also great seeing Dante's relationship with Casper more, and the rest of the MC members (the jail scene was amusing).

Margot and Dante

DANTE is book 7 of the Steelwood MC - Meadow Falls series. It's a short and steamy, instalove, OTT, age-gap, forced-proximity, curvy virgin gets her biker darkish romance.  Dante is the hunky, somewhat grumpy, president of the Steelwood MC. He is planning to take down the corrupt Mayor by using his daughter Madalyn as leverage. When he goes to kidnap her, he is shocked that she has a curvy twin, Margot that no one knows about. One look at her and he knows that she is his future. I loved this couple. Dante just wanted to care for her and keep her safe. She deserved happiness after what she endured. Their chemistry was pure fire and the ending was happy after all the drama and danger. I loved it.

Dante is the Pres of the Steelwood MC and we learn so much of what is below that angry tough exterior. There is no doubt as to why everyone is loyal and would do anything for him. Margot and Madalyn are revelations, and it is amazing that such women have come from mayor Ashford. Dante and Margot’s chemistry is sizzling but restrained. Dante shows how he feels in every action, and it doesn’t go unnoticed. You will love all the characters in this one, old and new. We also learn a little more about how truly obsessed Casper is with Kylee lol (from book one). "This is my honest review of an advanced reader copy, and I am leaving this review voluntarily."

-Dante and Margot’s story is an intense, emotional MC romance filled with danger, family drama, and undeniable chemistry. I received a free copy and am voluntarily sharing my honest thoughts.
It is wonderful to watch Margot go from being overlooked and mistreated to finally being cherished by a man who sees her worth. Dante’s protective, possessive biker energy and fierce devotion make him the perfect hero for her.
A fast-paced, suspenseful romance with a strong brotherhood, found family, and a well earned happy ending.

I enjoyed the story while discovering the heroine's past, so the kidnapping by the hero in this case isn't a bad thing, but an opportunity to start living once things are cleared.
I liked that all necessities were provided, some of which even I could be jealous of.
I liked how the heroine affected the hero, which made him change some behavior patterns.
I liked that some things aren't rushed; the protagonists can do things their own way.

Dante has been the gruff president and he takes his responsibilities very seriously. His plan to kidnap the mayor’s daughter goes sideways when he learns she’s part of a set of twins and the unknown sister steals his focus. Margot has been hidden away and lives to protect her sister. I love the bond the sisters have so much. As this story unfolds it gets better and the mayor gets dirtier the more they dig. Love the way it all comes together and the HEA is beyond beautiful.

While carrying out a plan to stop the corrupt mayor of Meadow Falls, Dante discovers there are two women to take. Margot has spent her life in hiding, but now she is finally away from her horrible father. Dante is completely blind sided by her, and he falls for her instantly. This is a spicy age gap romance with a terrific plot. It is definitely re-readable!

Ooooh, this was so good. Dante was going after the mayors daughter, except when he got there, there were two. Twins. But it was Margot that ignited something deep inside him. So he took both. Margot had been hidden away, while her sister was the one everyone saw, everyone knew. And now Margot was being noticed and she liked it. This was such a sweet and steamy read. Both Margot and Dante were exactly what the other needed.

Dante goes to kidnap the daughter of the mayor that is crooked and finds she has a twin sister no one knows about. He takes both sisters because the moment he sees Margot he is drawn to her. He keeps both sisters hidden and gives them freedom they have never had before. Margot has been kept hidden as her fathers greatest disappointment. Dante helps her sister get to her HEA and he helps Margot find her freedom and become her HEA.

Dante and Margot

I really wanted to give this one a 5, so is more of a 4.5 for me. Loved the story, this series is so good and I liked that this one was a little longer. It gave the time for the main characters to feel the attraction more and the need for each other. I wanted to know more about Margot and why things happen the way they did. But it was a really good one.
