Casper by Julia Stone is the sixth title in the Steelwood MC - Meadow Falls series and was an entertaining read.
As a steamy small town, OTT obsessive and protective, touch her and die, instalove, biker romance, the plot and storyline had me hooked quickly especially with the main characters of Casper and Kylee being likeable and engaging.
Kylee's life as the owner of a bookstore is plain, simple and boring until an injured biker stumbles and collapses in her store bleeding. From then on her life takes a turn as the intriguing biker returns day after day flirting and coaxing her to let him in and coupled with his captivating looks, Kylee finds him hard to resist.
Casper, VP of the Steelwood MC, despite his unique appearance is a rugged biker and holds his own in any fight but when he is blindsided and seeks sanctuary in a bookstore, he is taken with the shy owner who, rather than cowers in fear, steps up and helps him until his MC brothers rescue him. Casper knows that most people steer clear of him but he is drawn to Kylee when he sees that she isn't afraid and frequently blushes in his presence.
Their attraction to one another and Casper's subsequent obsessive behaviour and actions to pursue and claim her is enjoyable to read especially via their individual POVs.
The chemistry between Casper and Kylee sizzles with a slow burn vibe. As trust grows between them, as they get to know one another, and along with some tension, action, and danger involving rival MCs, this made the steamy and spicy scenes all the more deserved afterwards.
A great short read with main characters that had personal doubts and insecurities to overcome in finding their person, but were ultimately perfect for one another for a satisfying HEA.

This is a new book in the Steelwood MC-Meadow Falls series. It focuses on Casper, the enforcer of the MC, a silent relentless killer, who suffers from albinism, and is dedicated to club matters. That all changes when he is attacked, has no glasses on (his condition makes him blind with harsh lights and in need of darkened prescription flasses); so when he stumbles onto the first door that opens he is hardly able to see his saviour, just get her to call for MC help.
Kylee is a bookstore owner, who is barely making it, curvy, sweet, caring, and with a sweet disposition. She is attracted to the injured man and is shovked when he comes back a few days later while healing. HE is instantly taken with her, and is about to do anything to get her to be with him. The more time he is there, the harder it is to get her out of his mind, and it is putitng her in the target of his enemies.

Casper by Julia Stone caught my attention from the start and kept it throughout this well-written, MC romance short read. The allure of Kylee, more sedate with a composed personality, really makes her a well-layered character as she demonstrates she can have some sass, determination, and fortitude. I loved her! I also enjoyed Casper. As a vice-president of the MC, he has rough edges and a more notorious lifestyle. However, upon meeting Kylee, he is drawn to her soft edges and personality. This is a wonderful story as they journey through dangers, responsibilities, life, and a new chemistry filled friendship to find their own happy ever after. Also, although Casper is a darker romance, it was well-done and for me had a great combination of lighter dark and captivating moments. Casper is part of the Steelwood MC - Meadow Falls series and highly recommended.

Another good read in the series. I liked Casper, the V.P. who hides behind his smirk. It's hard with his condition; he knows some people see that and not him, but that's not true of Kylee; she sees him immediately. She sees someone with unique qualities, one who draws her to him. But Casper is also drawn to her because of the kindness she showed him when he needed help; she didn't turn him away. When he comes back to thank her, he actually sees her properly, and it's like he's been hit by lightning; his reaction to her feels electric, and he can't keep away.
The story is a quick novella. Hot and steamy, instant attraction. Where love can hit when you least expect it.

Casper grabbed my attention from the very first page and didn't let go. I absolutely loved Kylee—she is a beautifully layered character who balances a calm personality with unexpected sass, grit, and determination.
The dynamic between her and Casper, the rough-around-the-edges MC Vice President, is fantastic. He is immediately drawn to her soft edges, and their chemistry-filled journey through danger and new responsibilities is wonderful to watch. While it elements of a darker romance, the author handles it perfectly, striking a great balance between lighter, captivating moments and gritty tension.

Casper is the VP of the Steelwood MC. He is double crossed and has to fight is way of the jam he is in. He is bleeding and running blind when goes into the bookstore. She does not seem to be afraid or think he is a freek. She thinks he is hot and not sure he even noticed her until he returns. It is not a fluke she is not discusted with his appearance. He believes he has just found his woman, now he needs to lock in down.

The characters were very appealing and likeable and complicated and absolutely perfect together. Plot was intriguing and intense and well paced. World building was excellent and impressive. Thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend!

Casper has been the biker who’s always been a side character that I have been dying to get his story. This book is amazing and beautiful!! Kyler helps him and sees him not as a freak but as a beautiful man! I loved that she was self conscious about herself but adored him despite his world being dangerous. Loved it!! Loving this series and this book is my favorite so far.

I especially liked how she didn't let appearances dictate how she feels about someone. Casper is very protective of her. I'm glad Casper and Kylee fall in love.

A charming quick MC lite romance. Loved how Casper’s differences did not phase Kylee. Their banter and chemistry were perfect. Each had vulnerabilities that the other fixed. A bit of MC action, humorous moments, Brotherhood, kidnapping and heart made it a good read.

How was so much awesomeness packed into these few pages!? I loved Casper and Kylee. The way he was instantly attracted to her, and not because she saved him. Hope he wanted to protect her. And then she’s kidnapped. All hell breaks loose. Two clubs fighting one another. The danger and the chaos. This was such an intense read. Of course I devoured this in one day.

Having a half dead Steelwood biker stumble into her bookstore was not on Kylee's bingo card. Bleeding and blind Casper found his way to exactly where he needed to be. It's almost impossible not to fall in love with Casper and all of his club members.

This is an exciting, some danger, all most dead blind biker, mc vp, bookstore kidnapping. Wow the plot is awesome, main characters are great. Secondary characters are good. This is a good quick read over this long weekend. I really enjoyed it myself

Such a quick, addictive read! The slow burn is so good, and the chemistry keeps building until you can't stop reading to see how they finally get together.
