Abundance of Obsession by Violet Hale completely sucked me in from start to finish! This story moves at a fantastic speed that keeps you hooked, making it so hard to put down. Just when you think you've figured out where the plot is going, Violet hits you with another twist. Can't wait to read more from her. Holy wow! Okay so, normally I don’t like second books, but Violet crushed it! You get dropped into Eli and Zoe’s story. This book is fueled by feminine rage, as Zoe sets out to settle scores with her past. Meanwhile, Eli comes to terms with his past while falling in love for the first time in his life. The tension and action is there. And HOLY PLOT TWIST after plot twist in the last few chapters. I cannot wait until Theo’s story is ready to be shared with the world!

Normally when an author writes a first book that’s so good, you’re left in awe and wanting more. But you think to yourself, how can they possibly top that? It’s like the poured everything into the first one to catch the reader and pull them in. Leaving them with just an okay second story. But omg, that author is NOT Violet. She crushed it with the first one, and demolished it with the second. I am so obsessed with these books, they’ll live, not only rent free in my head, but in that dark little recess that I reserve for the best dark romances. Eli and Zoe were fire. This pulled me in so fast. Once I got started there was no way I was going to put this down until I was finished. Eli was a brooding and dominant alpha. And Zoe was so sweet with that tinge of vengeance. Together, they were fierce. This was such an amazing read. This one HAS TO GO ON YOUR TBR!!

Omg this book was as good as the first. I couldn’t stop reading. I devoured this book. The only reason it looks like it took longer than one day because it was after midnight - I had to stay up to finish it!
I knew Zoe and Eli’s story was going to wreck me - and it did. But in the best way it could. I knew there was more to Zoe than just being Ashs computer sleuthing, dark web obsessed sister and I was right. But seeing the hurt she went through and kept to herself was so sad.
And Eli! Oh, seeing the different side to Eli! Oh that man can do so many things to me. He is my favorite of the PACT now! He is so complex, and in the first book you don’t really see it, but now you do. The anger in him, the passion he shows his Raven.
The drama that comes from Zoe’s decisions I did not see coming. That last twist had me SHOCKED. I was not ready for that yacht scene. I thought the diamonds were going to save her and out came the pearls…. And my heart broke for her.
And now I need to know what happens with Dolly and Theo. Where do we go from here?! We are in a war that much is sure. And I can only hope that the PACT can get Dolly to be on their side? Because Aiden and his father are still up to something.

When something horrific is done to someone, the culprits need to be punished. Maybe then one can feel a little better after revenge is exacted. Every action has dreadful consequences.
A story in a dark world where things don't go as planned, especially for the protagonists. There are risks and a lot to lose, and in the end, one will think, "Was it worth it?" or contemplate bad planning, not taking every possibility into account regarding what might go wrong.
I don't like it when things go wrong for the so-called good ones in a story and there are painful, emotional losses.
I don't like that dangerous, powerful people don't appreciate someone's right to avenge the wrongs of the past without consequences, except if it concerns themselves; then it's okay.

This story was brilliant from start to finish. If you like dark romance and touch-her-and-die vibes, then this one is for you! Eli and Zoe make a very cute couple. She is sweet and sassy, finding herself, and Eli is all hard edges and brooding. Match made in heaven, or hell, depends on your preference.

I don't give out 5 stars 🌟 often but this had been invested all the way through. It may not have been the emotional and devastating rollercoster of a ride as the others I've rated the same, but this deserved more than 4 🌟 I loved Eli and Zoe's story and the way they needed each other even when they didn't know it. And the ending with the overlap from book one......now I really need to read the next book!

I’m not sure where to begin, because this book completely consumed me. I thought the first installment in the P.A.C.T. series was exceptional, but this one surpassed it in every way. I devoured it, staying up well past midnight because there was no chance I was putting it down before the final page. The only reason it took me more than a day to finish was because the clock rolled over—I simply could not stop reading.
I knew Zoe and Eli’s story would be emotionally devastating, and it still hit harder than I expected.
Zoe is so much more than Ash’s brilliant, dark-web-obsessed computer genius of a sister. Beneath her intelligence and sarcasm is a woman carrying unimaginable pain, quietly bearing trauma that no one around her truly understood. Watching her past unfold was heartbreaking, and every revelation made me admire her even more.
And then there is Eli...
I already loved him in the first book, but this story revealed layers of him I had not anticipated. He is fierce, protective, dangerous, emotionally scarred, and remarkably complex. Watching the walls around him slowly come down because of Zoe was one of the most rewarding aspects of the book. The way he loved his Raven—with such intensity, passion, and unwavering devotion—had me completely invested. He is officially my favorite member of the P.A.C.T., and I do not think anyone is taking that spot anytime soon.
One thing Violet does exceptionally well is keep readers guessing. Every time I thought I had figured out where the story was headed, she completely blindsided me. I kept thinking, “This is definitely what is about to happen,” only to be proven spectacularly wrong. The twists kept coming, making it impossible to predict what would happen next.
And that yacht scene...
I was absolutely not prepared. I honestly believed the diamonds were going to be Zoe's salvation, but then came the pearls...and my heart completely shattered. That moment will stay with me for a long time.
This book feels much darker and more emotionally intense than the first. The stakes are higher, the danger is greater, and every decision carries devastating consequences. The suspense had me constantly on edge, and the emotional punches landed every single time.

She's Ashley's sister. Growing up in her sister's shadow, having to rely on her protection more than once, she decides to take control of her life and show everyone she is not the little girl they all think she is.
I started this book thinking there is no way I would love Eli as much as Ryker, but here I am completely in love with the guy and ready to justify all his red flags. And if it wasn't a betrayal to my love for Ryker, I would say that i love him even more.
And Zoe. I got even more attached to her than I did to her sister. I cried for what she went through and rooted for her all through the book. She is so strong and so amazing, I couldn't help loving her.
This is another five star read for me, there is nothing in this book i didn't like, I couldn't put it down. I am beyond grateful to have had this opportunity to get to know this author, i am amazed by her writing, each book being better than the last. Violet, you did it again for me and i am officially a fan. I am waiting impatiently for Theo's book.

I really enjoyed this book. It was full of action, suspense, romance and heartfelt moments. It kept me on the edge of my seat wanting to know what happens next.
Both Eli and Zoe have had a difficult childhood, Zoe in particular. It was nice to see the healing and progress they made throughout the book. Zoe is a strong FMC and I really liked her character. She did her absolute best to fight her demons head on. I really admired it about her.
Eli is a sweetheart. It broke my heart that he deemed himself unloveable at first because of his childhood. He is so protective of Zoe and adores her so much. He would do anything for her and tries to help slay all her demons. Such a great MMC 😍
I'm so glad they got their happy ending. The story however is far from over. I'm looking forward to reading the next book and seeing what happens with Theo and this new lady. Highly recommend this one 💗

Zoe, well, I think she only matured towards the end of the book. Even though her exchanges with Eli were funny, she was still a little girl. Her childhood wasn't exactly rosy and her plan for revenge was good, it still wasn't quite right overall.
But what's really good about this series is the plot. It's well-thought-out, well-developed and even though there are a lot of twists and turns, we still haven't gotten to the heart of the matter. Which is a big plus and because of that, I will definitely read the next parts to find out how it all really is.

I have no words. This book isn’t even comparable to the first in the P.A.C.T. It follows a more serious story line. Eli I loved from the start and I guessed he’d fall for Zoe,but this one really kept me guessing. From the start is be reading and go “ok ok this is definitely about to happen” shocking surprise it didn’t. The book has a back and forth pull I just can’t get enough of! Violet knows what she’s doing and how to keep my interest. I so suggest for everyone to read triggers as it’s got some topics everyone may not be ok reading about. The way Zoe changed Eli I never seem coming how he truly opened up to her fully! I could just go on and on and gush over this book and series. But I just want everyone to pick it up and read it I swear you won’t be disappointed! The end has me wanting to scream!! Major cliffhanger..I need book #3 ASAP. I had really lost my love of reading..I read daily but didn’t enjoy it as much as I have reading these books for this fantastic author! I had really lost my love of reading..I read daily but didn’t enjoy it as much as I have reading these books for this fantastic author! Abundance of Obsession by Violet Hale completely sucked me in from start to finish!
The biggest standout for me was the pacing—it moves at a fantastic speed that keeps you hooked, making it so hard to put down. Just when you think you've figured out where the plot is going, Violet Hale hits you with another twist. A few of the plot reveals caught me completely off guard in the best way possible!
What really elevated the story, though, was the depth of the characters. Hale does an incredible job detailing their emotions and inner lives, making them feel raw, authentic, and easy to connect with. You really feel everything they go through.
Overall, it was a fantastic read with the perfect balance of suspense, emotion, and unpredictable storytelling. I cannot wait to see what happens in the next book!

Ok so I’m playing catch up with reading now that my family emergencies have calmed down and I’ve found my footing. But holy cheeseballs was this a delicious read!
If you love a sassy and intelligent fmc fueled by feminine rage as she discovers herself. Paired with a brooding sharp edged mmc who thinks he’ll never fall in love. This is the book for you. I loved the writing, the pacing and the plot with whiplash from the twists. Violet you’ve done it again!!

I read this book within one day!!
I was so looking forward to Eli and Zoe's story, I loved their interactions within the first book and knew they would be electric together.
They didn't disappoint!!!
This book had so many great qualities, the fierce determination of Zoe, both characters overcoming past hardships, Eli's fierce possessiveness, and the found family within the group!!

The characters were very complex and compelling and complicated. Plot was intriguing and intense and well paced. World building was solidly drawn and impressive. All in all a great addition to the series. Enjoyed immensely and highly recommend!

Abundance of Obsession definitely lives up to its name! Eli is completely obsessed with Zoe and won’t let anything—or anyone—get between them, whether she likes it or not.
Once again, I really enjoyed watching their story unfold and seeing how everything unraveled between them. This book definitely proves that sometimes you should never say never!

It took me a while to get in to the story, but that was al my fault. I didn't read book one of this serie.
But after some time I was hooked.
You absolutely can read it as a standalone, but if you read book 1 first, it will make the start of this book much easier to read!

An amazing read from the start. Eli and Zoe were perfect for each other. They both have to deal with their pasts to get to a good place in their lives and have a strong relationship. It was great seeing their relationship evolve and the chemistry was 🔥.

Book 2 of P.A.C.T. was amazing. I couldn't put it down once I started. The relationship between Eli and Zoe are captivating. Its spicy, intense, thrilling. I cant for the next characters.
