Flip the Script is the book I wish I'd had in high school. I finished it in two sittings and immediately thought, "Every high school student should read this."

Through an engaging story and relatable, well-developed characters, the book encourages young people to be thoughtful and strategic about their future. Instead of simply following the path everyone else seems to take, it asks students to consider the lifestyle they hope to build, the kind of work that truly motivates them, and the career path that best aligns with both.

One of the book's greatest strengths is that it doesn't present college as the only measure of success. It challenges the assumption that a four-year degree is automatically the right choice and gives skilled trades the serious consideration they deserve. More importantly, it reminds readers that there are many paths to a fulfilling and successful life.

Thought-provoking, well written, and highly relevant, this is a book I'd recommend not only to high school students, but also to parents and teachers (or anyone scuffling in a job who is wondering if there might be a better way). It has the potential to change the way young people think about one of the most important decisions they'll ever make.
