3.5 This book was a cute YA romance. I like that the couple started as childhood friends and decided to get together at the end of the book. This book is something I would have read in high school. Overall solid book
I really enjoyed Where It’s Sunny by Dejah R. Willow. The writing style was one of my favorite parts, it felt so natural and effortless that I flew through the book. The conversations, emotions, and relationships all felt authentic, which made it easy to connect with the characters.
I became really invested in the characters and their journey, and I found myself rooting for them the entire time. Their connection felt genuine, and watching their relationship develop was one of the highlights of the story. By the end, I wasn't ready to say goodbye to them.
My only complaint is that I wanted more! I would have loved an epilogue to see what happened after the ending and get one last glimpse into their lives. That's usually a sign of a good book for me. When I finish it and still want to spend more time with the characters.
Overall, this was an enjoyable, heartfelt read with relatable characters and a writing style that kept me hooked from start to finish.
Where It’s Sunny is exactly the kind of romance I needed after reading nothing but depraved and unhinged books lately 😭 Dejah R. Willow has easily become one of my go-to romance authors because she always delivers the sweetest, swooniest stories.
Mason and Sunny had me kicking my feet HARD. The mutual pining, second guessing, and “JUST TELL EACH OTHER HOW YOU FEEL” moments had me completely invested. I also loved getting both POVs because I needed to know they were equally down bad for each other 😂
Such a soft, comforting, butterfly-inducing summer romance.
This book is soo cute, reading how the romance blossoms between two childhood best friends during what seems an annual family vacation is amazing. Mason and Sunny are just adorable feeing the same way but still being unsure. Would love to see turned into series and have a second book to continue their story.
Dejah has done it again ! Where It’s Sunny is the perfect mix of sweet and spicy and Mason is the kind of lover boy everyone wants ! If you want feel good vibes from beginning to end , look no further !
I love a sweet slow burn and how real Sunny’s feelings were. Love can be confusing. I just wish there was a little more at the end. Maybe a second book but overall very sweet. This is my second book by the author and I’m loving the ride.
