From the second I started reading this I was totally mesmerised by this incredible book. Looking at every aspect of connecting to the goddess inside every woman, it's an holistic guide that allows you to focus on each part of your life in turn. Peppered with personal anecdotes, the book is written in a very friendly style that makes you feel as if you're having a chat with your best friend. As you make your way through each inspiring paragraph you really start to feel your inner goddess bouncing up and down with joy. This book makes you feel inspired, powerful and able to climb a mountain if you so wished! Who runs the world? Women do. Let your inner goddess roar loud and proud!

Lyn Thurman is a masterful writer, and “The Inner Goddess Revolution” is a charming and potent book that provides much needed inspiration not just for women, but for any reader, to discover and awaken the power of the Goddess within, and thereby claim a whole new level of power in our lives. Every sentence, sizzles with wit, wisdom, kick-ass humor and well-chosen verbiage. Ms. Thurman boldly encourages us to heed our long-ignored intuition and directly discover our very own inner Goddess, who has all along been doing her best to guide us and communicate with us through the coincidences and subtle feelings that we’ve been doing our best to ignore all these years. The book is sprinkled with easy-to-follow exercises which help us directly access our higher wisdom, and tune in to the synchronicities and other subtle modes of communication with which our inner Goddess speaks to us. As Ms. Thurman points out, part of learning the subtle art of intuition is tuning in to our emotions, and embracing whatever’s showing up in our hearts and minds, and this book gives us brave encouragement for that challenging work. She points out that in order to bring our inner Goddess to life, we may first have to banish the inner demon, the voice of chronic self-depredation and negativity that may be playing 24/7 on our inner radios. I love her simple recipe for slaying that demon: the two words “F*ck off.” Brilliant!

The numerous bits of advice she gives throughout the book seem eminently practical for the time-strapped modern woman. She says we really need only “10 seconds to connect,” and suggests that even in the midst of a bustling city it’s easy enough to find a relatively quiet place, where we can look to the skies, take off our shoes for a second, tune in to Mother Nature and get a dose of peace. I love the numerous references she gives to Goddess figures in the world’s various religions, and to the many magical and unstoppable women throughout history, reminding modern women that they needn’t be slaves to the humdrum doldrums of modern life.

It was a joy to meet Lyn Thurman through the pages of this remarkable book; I am sure she has a huge writing career ahead of her. You go, Goddess!
