This is a new way of reading for me. Where, really, there isn't any action at all, and the book is told entirely through letters. I wasn't quite sure at first if I'd enjoy it in that format, but it turns out I really did. It reminds me a little of the movie The Lake House in the fact that people are sending each other letters, only instead of across time, it's across space.
The FMC, Dani, starts with a letter from her "best friend" inviting her to her wedding, only the "best friend" is marrying Dani's ex. There are a few back-and-forths between family members and friends about the wedding, and then one day she gets a letter from someone called Orion telling her that they are destined to be together. Obviously, Dani doesn't believe it and thinks it's some weirdo.
While the story is short and you do miss a lot of the things leading up to where Dani is at that moment in time, I thought it was really well done and thoroughly enjoyed it. I'll definitely be looking for a few more stories like this in the future.

A magical romance told one letter at a time!
A short and quick read that is unique! The entire story unfolds through letters, creating an immersive experience that made me feel like I was discovering each piece of the romance alongside the heroine. The magical mailbox concept is incredibly creative and gives this romantasy a charm all its own.
The connection between the heroine on Earth and Prince Orion is sweet, heartfelt, and full of longing. Even though they're separated by worlds, their letters build a relationship that feels genuine, emotional, and easy to root for. I loved watching their trust and feelings grow with every message.
I do feel like you are missing important parts of the story though with it being just letter written. I wish it was longer to learn more about the courts and make the ending a little more complete. I love the concept and need this!

This little book was adorable! Or main FMC Danika has gone through it, she ended up dumping a scumbag, to find out that he is now marrying her cousin. Ew. She decided to say screw it, and take much needed time out in the wilds with just her and the stars. As she went totally blackout, letters are her only form of contract and let me say, one of them is extremely interesting. Who wouldn't want a complete stranger writing letters? That's as much as I'm giving you, so go ahead and download it to find out the rest! 😉

If I could give this book more than 5 stars I would. What a unique way to write and read a story. To see the love story unfold through written letters is definitely interesting and original. I've never read a story written in this way and it certainly sucked me in. I loved it. To watch the story unfold between Dani and Orion and watch the love bloom across the universe was beautiful! The art work in the book was also an interesting and beautiful touch. And watching the spoiled and self-entitled Bebe get what she deserved in the end, priceless! I can't wait for the next book!

As a backer for the Kickstarter, I absolutely loved the idea of receiving letters in the mail and it was fun. A highlight each week when I got a big packet envelope that had about 5 letters inside. Over the course of 4 weeks I got a series of letters plus the letter box to keep them in.
The author is great! The writing was amazing. I loved the idea.
As much as I love the idea of just letters, a whole bunch of the story was left out. We missed massive chunks and got a blog and two letters as an ending.
I think it would have been more complete to have at least those parts fleshed out by being told in missives around the court. Just to give more. The build up was great, I was giggling at the characters, the sass...but then it was like just big chunks was missing and I was left unsatisfied. Like I missed more than half the story.
I will say this though...I need something like this in the future. A story told in letters that is sent in the mail every week. That was so fun.

I loved the unique format Ines used to tell this story - intergalactic mail portal was not on my bingo card this reading season!
I found this story really engaging and didn't lack in detail or connection between the characters. I loved the developing relationship between Danika and Orion, and the writing and personalities had me giggling throughout.

I can say with certainty that I've never read a book written in this style before. The whole thing is a series of letters back and forth between the two main love interests and some family members and friends weaved throughout the pages. I actually enjoyed the story. It's a nice quick read, and I'd recommend it to anyone.

Super short, written in letters between the characters, and a sweet romance.
This managed to pack in quite a bit with limited page length, and the main characters never being in the same space at the same time.

This was a very cute book. Its an easy read so if you are looking for a quick read with a cute story this is one for you. She is on earth, he is not. He can't get to her except through the mail. A magic portal that only sends letters. Fated mates. Its fun. I enjoyed the book. I recommend.
