This book is about the youngest of Hart's sisters, Lady Henrietta, and the architect of the new hotel, Gideon Bramwell. These two were like oil and water in the beginning, but Lady Hetty brought Gideon around soon enough. There were the usual fun hijinks going on and the secondary characters were also entertaining. I would pay close attention to Viscount Rivington and Lady Cecelia. They were extremely diverting. I look forward to reading every new book in this series. They are all so different, but very entertaining.
Really enjoyed this outing, Hetty is quite the character I really enjoyed her. The dynamic between her and Gideon was wonderful to watch unfold. Also the mental health of the time does make one sincerely happy to live in our time but added to the story. As always another great read can’t wait to read Cilly’s story.
So many unanswered questions because most of the book was useless conversation and repetitive inner dialogue. I was way more interested in Hekney and Clara. I can't wait until this series end so Emma V Leech can possibly go back to her earlier writing style.
Can’t wait to find out what happens with Damian and Cilly. I also look forward to the success for Gideon and Hetty. I love everything Emma Leech has written. I’ve read them all.
Dates on chapter headers are crazy. August 11th was the longest day ever, and the preview of the next book has the date set before the event took place in this book. Made me a little crazy...
