Out of all the spin-offs ARR is doing with her ‘Until’ books, Until Jax was the one I was most excited to read. Why? Because it’s JAX! Jax is Lilly and Cash’s son and their book has always been my favorite. Lets be real though, I love every ‘Until’ book written by Aurora Rose Reynolds. I just can’t help it I LOVE that fucking BOOM! Yes it’s insta-love always. I don’t even care. I love these books. These Mayson boys are in charge and when they fall hard and get their BOOM, they claim their women.
“She’s your Boom.
She’s your forever.
Nothing will change that.”

 photo 8158568F-832A-44FF-8845-75A8B25BE541_zpsgpwak90t.jpg

Ellie Anthony has been through a lot. Now she and her daughter have a chance for a fresh start in a new place. She takes it. When Jax Mayson first sees Ellie, he knows it, he feels it. She’s his BOOM. He falls for her and her daughter fast. He just has to convince her to give him a chance. Ellie isn’t in a place where she wants to date etc, but Jax is pretty confident he can change her mind…

I loved Jax and Ellie together. They had off the charts chemistry. Ellie was hesitant but not too stubborn, just the right amount. Jax was the right amount of pushy to get her to open up to him. I especially loved them both with Hope. I’m a sucker for kids in books and she was just a sweetheart. When she called him ‘Daddy Ax’ I melted! Adorable.

If you’re looking for a sweet, sexy and fun book that is an easy read and will leave a huge smile on your face, pick up Until Jax. Technically this could be read as a stand-alone, but you’ll enjoy it much more if you’ve read the others. Specifically Until Lilly and Until July

"Fate, baby...this is fate."

I love Aurora and so far all the books I have read by her! I love her characters and her stories are refreshing! Because of the way this one starts some may not like it as there is insta-love from Jax's part. But you know what? For me it doesn't matter at all because I like the story and this wasn't a problem for me!

Jax is what a woman needs!!! He is protective, sweet, super hot and friendly!! I really liked him and found him funny!! Ellie is such a sweetheart! You can't stop yourself from finding her so nice! Apart from her nice behavior, she is also strong and a fighter! She cares for her daughter and she will do whatever she needs to keep her kid safe! And when Jax is with Hope they are so adorable and I really loved Jax for this!!

The only reason I gave this story 4 stars is because the ending was a little bit rushed for my taste!Overall it was a wonderful story and if you are a fan of Aurora then you will definitely love it!!I'm looking forward for the next book in this series!

She's mine. She may not understand it- hell, I don't even know if I understand it- but she was made for me.

Aurora Rose Reynolds books always have been and will continue to be my guilty pleasure. A little fluffy, a lot steamy and with a dose of insta love, I don't know any other author that can pull all that off in one book and actually make me enjoy it. Something about this boys and their "booms". I can't even explain it. But I like it.

I was a little confused as this book shows to be the first in the Until Him series but it starts off basically exactly where Until July ended with Jax meeting Ellie as she escaped her captors and ran from them in the woods. Those that haven't read Until July yet may find themselves slightly confused as it almost feels like you're starting the book in the middle of the chapter. It does get better explained later in the book but I do feel like reading Until July first would help. I'm not sure why these are two different series as the characters are all interconnected. But ah well.

Until Jax was a a fun read that was a little muddled with ow drama for me. While most of the author's heroes tend to come with a manwhorish past and Jax is no different, I'm used to all that and it doesn't bother me at all. But in the case here, it was just a little much. Perhaps if there was only just .

Aside from that, it was a very fun read and one I finished in one sitting. Total escapism book. Nothing that makes you think too hard; just a sexy hero, the heroine that brings him to his knees, and their journey to HEA. Easy and to the point.

Now there was also the introduction of Kim and the mother of all teases of her connection to Sage, Jax's younger cousin. If Aurora doesn't give us a book for them soon, I think I'll explode. Seriously. That set up? GAH!! I can't even. It was like it was custom written to tease the ever loving hell out of me.

Jax rescued Ellie when her own mother sold her to a human traffic trafficker. After they rescued her daughter as well, Jax is helping Ellie and Hope to start a new life.
But Ellie’s is Jaz “Boom” and despite her insecurities and her problems he’s decided to show her that they can have an amazing future together.
If only she can let go of her fears long enough to realize it…

Of all the anthologies from the “Until” series, Jax and Ashlyn are the ones I’m most anxious for. Knowing their story since they were kids, I loved to see Jax as an adult and his relationship with his family and his sister. Despite the insta-love that I really don’t mind in these books, this was a sweet romance with very steamy moments, You can read it as a stand-alone, but I would advise you to read the Until series first and Until July. But believe, reading this books is something you’ll have no problem with. They are the best guilty pleasure you can read.

Rating: 4 Stars.
Characters Development: Jax was your traditional Aurora’s hero. Sexy, possessive, sweet and with a heart of gold I loved how he took care of Ellie and Hope, who by the way, was the cutest kid ever. Ellie was sweet as well, a little understandably insecure. But amazing with hope and very honest. With a little attitude which was great to see.

DNF @ 60%. Audiobook version. The book starts and I have no clue what's going on so I'm guessing it's preceded by one that would have it all make sense. The author doesn't do a good job of explaining how Jax even came to be in Ellie's life at all. I'm not a fan of Jax. He uses his mom to convince Elle to stay using her fear against her. He threatens Ellie saying he will "give her orgasms until she apologizes" for being insecure about him and his role with her daughter. He is little more than a stranger who has pretty much taken over her life so yeah, she should be worried and apprehensive. I couldn't continue. I've liked others by this author but this one left me quite disappointed.

4 BOOM STARS

This was my first Aurora Rose Reynolds read and I loved it! I read this in one sitting (the time flew by) and totally immersed myself in this story. While this is the first book in the series and it could be read as a standalone, I was a bit confused for the first bit. It seemed as though it picked up right where another book ended. My guess is you should read July’s book first as July and Ellie share a connection in both being abducted. The story starts right after both July and Ellie are rescued. These missing pieces didn’t deter from Jax and Ellie’s story but just made for a bit of filling in the gaps.

I must say that I loved Jax Mayson and his alpha, bossy, protective sexiness and was drawn to knowing more about the other men who seemed to be like-minded such as Wes, Sage and Evan.

 photo image.jpg1_zpsrdtvdbgj.jpg

Ellie Anthony and Jax Mayson were sweet together and I really liked how Jax took it slow, to a point, with Ellie. These two just fit perfectly and made me feel good all over!!

"You were meant to be mine."

Yes, there was insta-attraction and insta-love, at least on Jax's part but you know what? Some authors can pull it off in a believable way and Aurora did just that. You could feel the visceral connection through Jax's thoughts and like Ellie, I couldn't deny it was meant to be.

There was some action and drama which I enjoyed, for the most part, although not really surprised. And Ms. Reynolds dropped some bread crumbs about stories to come on Sage and Kim (seriously hankering for their story) and June and, my guess, Evan. I want their stories!

I would recommend this as a great way to lose yourself in some action, drama and all out hot sexiness! Ms. Reynolds, I’m going to be reading more from you!

 photo CBE4D744-F1C9-40C1-9992-E14D1BF0AF33_zpsjshxdvsf.jpg

I have never read this author before, so this is a fresh start for me. This is the start of a new series, that being said I felt at the beginning like I didn't know what was going on but once the story enveloped and progressed I picked it up pretty quickly. Although I will definitely be reading from the beginning when I get the chance.

So what's it about?
Ellie is in the hospital, dehydrated and unaware of her location and who are the people around her. All she knows is she has a daughter and she needs to get to her, As soon as possible

Jax knows that Ellie is it for him, so there is that inst-love beginning where Ellie was all it for him, and he was going to anything he could to make sure her and Hope are safe.

For me though because I haven't read anything from this author before, I felt like I was missing a small part of the story to begin with. As time went on I did find things out and it all made sense but I suppose I would advice peeps to read Until July first because that's where you meet Ellie. I need to go back to that story and I will be soon. It can still be read as a standalone just know that the beginning runs straight from until July. So there is a small confusing beginning. I will say through that didn't deter me from the enjoyment of the story because I was gripped to this story, seriously I couldn't put it down, it was one hell of a feel good enjoyable family orientated themed read. It reminded me a little of harper Sloane books, good Alpha hero's, strong kick ass heroines. And a good dose of sexy.

 photo loving gif_zpsuo1gnhor.gif

Jax has an Insta-love-come-she's-my-forever-girl from page 1, but that's ok because you could feel his love and devotion for Ellie from the beginning. Ellie though has had a rough past, one from a family who doesn't care about children or feelings, so it took Ellie a fair bit to trust again, she worried about who she could let her guard down with because of her little girl. But she was brought into a loving new family full of hope, and friendships and love and slowly they built a family together.

 photo CED9CD17-B898-4A94-96B1-B8E9623A1304_zps3dgsa9gk.jpg

I really enjoyed the author's writing and how I was pulled right into the characters and story. I'm looking forward to reading the rest of these books and more of what's to come in this series. ESP Kim and Sage.

A real feel good, sexy read which was what I was in the mood for so enjoyed the hell out of it.

That is all..

The BOOM strikes again! This is insta-love at it's finest.
I rate it 4.5 "Cock-Porn" Stars

In a nutshell this is an insta-love, low angst, read with plenty of drama. Jax gets hits by the boom as soon as he sees Ellie. Although she doesn't verbalize her feelings for him until later, she was definitely feeling it too. If you're not a fan of insta everything, move on because things progress rather quickly in this one. But I highly suggest you read it, cause - IT'S GREAT!

Both main characters are solid. Ellie is a single mom who's doing the best she can to make a better life for her daughter. Jax falls for Hope (her daughter) as quickly as he does Ellie. The family dynamic in this book was really the star for me. I adored Ellie's daughter Hope and her interactions with Jax and his family. If you enjoy stories with cute kids, this one is for you.

 photo lOVESOHARD.jpg

The drama and conflict was cray-cray, but worked SO well. The epilogue is quite satisfying. Overall, I loved it...SO. HARD! I'm on pins and needles for the next release. Looking forward to Sage!!

"You were made for me. You're everything I never knew I wanted."

Jax Mayson finds his boom when he meets Ellie while saving his cousin, July. Not giving her a chance to get away he moves her and her daughter in with him to give her a fresh start and immediately puts them in his family fold. Ellie has never been with a man like Jax before and isn't used to his Alpha, bossy ways so she has a lot of adjusting to do. But can she open herself up and let him in before it's too late and can Jax let go of his past and accept his future?

Jax makes me incredibly sad because once I finished this book and sat my Kindle down I had to come back to reality and realize that he isn't a real person, only a character. He was so badass Alpha at times but friggin' adorable at other times. Seriously, ladies, prepare to swoon every time you get a glimpse of Jax with Hope. That sweet girl had Jax wrapped around her little finger and he would do anything for her. I loved how he was so sweet and caring in his own possessive way.

Ellie was a sweet character and she fit in with the Mayson family perfectly. This author is one of the few that can write heroines that I don't hate and I am so grateful for that. Ellie wasn't some weak timid girl even though, after what she went through, no on would blame her. She never let her past keep her from moving forward, even when she was nervous about jumping into a life with Jax, and I really liked that about her.

I really enjoyed this book but it was no where near my favorite from this author. I just felt like there wasn't enough of the story that focused on Jax and Ellie, and I was really looking forward to that. Also, the ending seemed a little abrupt and wasn't resolved enough for me.

Even with the issues I had with the story, I loved the characters and thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. Until Jax along with this whole series and for anyone that doesn't plan on reading it, I'm not sure I can be your friend any longer.

So many little teasers about other characters were thrown in and I already feel myself starting to go crazy with need! June's book is up next but I need Sage's book like pronto.

Warning: this book may have you going back to read the entire Until Series. That’s right after I finished Until Jax I was dying for more and wanting to know everyone, so I went back and binge read the entire series. Now, I love Jax even more.

Jax is Lilly and Cash’s son and knows all too well about the Mayson Boom. He has heard the stories about these Mayson’s seeing the girl they are meant to be with and falling in love immediately, but never believed it. That is until he met Ellie Anthony.

Ellie isn’t ready for love at first or a commitment. She has had a rough life and doesn’t trust easily. Her primary focus is making sure her daughter, Hope, is taking care of. Ellie is a fantastic mom and completely selfless. She is a fantastic heroine and I loved how she didn’t disappoint me.

Jax and Ellie together are dynamite. Their chemistry is undeniable and Jax is relentless in his pursuits. Once he decided Ellie and Hope were it for him he didn’t let up, he was going to win her over. I seriously adore books with kids, it’s my thing, and I loved Jax with Hope. I loved how opened his heart and cared about her like she was his.

Until Jax also had the signature angst and twists we are used to with Reynolds books, but I won’t even lie I was mostly wrapped up in Jax and Ellie’s love. Insta-love or not I was hooked on this sweet story, that’s full of heart!

Long story short, I am a huge fan of the Boom. I can’t even describe it, but this insta-love, alpha male thing is addictive. These stories are not full of angst, yes there are twists but nothing over the top. I guess I just love how we don’t have games, these men make a decision to fall and they go all in. If you are looking for a book that has tons of heart, lots of heat and will make you smile read this one!

DNF!
Really?! Yet another manwhore and V trope 😫
I’m so over this and hasn’t this author done enough of this.
She’s a 24yr old V 😳🙄😳🙄
He’s a manwhore
OWD GALORE! OW- multiple ex hookup and ex GF of the H approach the H and h and try to cause trouble. One even shows up at his place and jumps his bones. She kisses him and he is groping her ass. All of which the h is there to see.

She has a kid… but of course it’s her brothers child not hers cause then she couldn’t be a V for her very experienced manwhore. I mean she barley kissed a guy before! KISSED! So while she’s raising a child in her virginal state he’s off enjoying as many woman as he wants.

And of course she is a doormat. No backbone.

And then of course as soon as he finds out she is a V he gets a hard dick at the thought of her being a V! 🤮

She never had an orgasm or had any idea what it would feel like…. At 24! She never touched herself? I mean did she live under a rock?

And what was with her obsession with being in a diet and losing weight when she wasn’t overweight at all!?
So annoying

This so soooooo 20 yrs ago can we move on from this chauvinistic BS and to be honest this is a bunch of complete bullshit now a days I mean a 24yr old V w a kid? Ridiculous.

I was also really bored.

Until Jax starts where Until July ends with Jax trying to help Ellie after the rescue in the woods. This author is known for her possessive alpha males and insta-love with their heroines but in a normal pace in my opinion. So Ellie rocked Jax's world since the first time they met and it was a BOOM for him "she's the ONE,she's MINE!".Ellie was worried about her daughter .

"I have no idea how it's possible to find someone who was made just for me,but you are.You were made for me.You're everything I never knew I wanted. You were meant to be MINE!"

Ellie was shy and scared. She only had Hope and now that Jax was in her life she felt weird because there was a whole family there who wanted to help her and support her and Hope. She tried to keep a distance from Jax BuT he wore her down and crept his way in her heart by protecting and loving her and Hope.

"Feel this? This only happens for you.No one else, baby, and that's the fucking truth.
You have unknowingly ruined me for all other women."

Lets get to the sweet and funny part of this book.AnD that's when Hope was around!Hope was the cutest little girl.Everyone was great with her BuT I loved Daddy Ax with princess Hope.

"Ax, can I hab a sister."
"Maybe one day,sweetheart,but really,
I don't think you get to choose. You may get a brother.
"Do I hab to ask God or Santa for a sister, Mama?"
"Oh, lord."
"Do you want to show your mom and Jax what
you made them?"
"We made cockporn balls.

Jax and Ellie were a HOOOOT couple!!!With steamy sex and lots of Os!!!

This was just an ok read for me again. I’m finding this next generation series to be flat compared to all their parents stories in the “Until” series. Im just not able to feel very connected with the main characters. I’m going to take a bit of a break and come back to this series later!

I loved this book and hated for it to end. The chemistry between Jax and Ellie is boiling hot. Their story together was a page turner and offered such a satisfying ending. It was beyond touching, emotional, and intense.

Ellie had to handle parenting on her own at the very young age of 19. She did not have plans to become a mother, certainly not at that young age. Every day has been a challenge, but there was something about the situation that made her smile: her sweet daughter! Until Jax. When he sets his eyes on her, he instantly recognizes she's the ONE, his BOOM, his forever-love!! Jax is ready to do anything in order to make her see that they belong together and soon the couple falls deeply, irrevocably and passionately in love.

There's so much to this book -- it's not just a romance; there's character development, actual emotion, depth, and real connections, both between Jax and Ellie and between the reader and the characters. The dialogue and pace of the story is excellent, and of course the intimacy shared between the two is very steamy. I thought the relationship between them was realistic, as was the way they fell in love. I loved the way the characters of Jax and Ellie evolved from stranger to intimate. Now, I thought this was a man worth loving because he was just so understanding. And have I mentioned how sexy from the book’s description?

This was not a lazy version of insta-love. Jax knows they're meant to be together but he has to work for it, show it to Ellie. So, the trope of love wasn't at all annoying. It's a wonderful, sexy, warmhearted, intelligent story that I definitely recommend!

Until Jax kicks off the first in the Until Him Series, a spin-off of the Until Series with ties to the Until Her Series.

Jax Mayson is the son of Cash and Lilly – remember Until Lily? That amazing second chance romance? OMG. I was dying to get Jax’s story after seeing him in Until July and his first encounter with Ellie.

Jax has known about the BOOM all his life, he’s heard the stories from his father and uncles, but he’s experiencing it firsthand, for the first time. He knew the instant he saw Ellie that she was it for him. But Ellie had just survived being kidnapped and she needs to rebuild her life, not only for her but for her little girl.

In an instant everything for Jax changed. I loved watching him turn in to this alpha-male, dead set on giving Ellie and Hope the life they deserved The three of them together was perfection. There is just something about a tough guy who melts when it comes to a kid.

The chemistry these two shared was instant and off the charts. I loved that Ellie held back only a bit – a way to protect her daughter, but she didn’t push Jax away. She took a chance, a chance on getting the type of love and life she always wanted. I think I loved that the most about this particular story. Ellie as a character had all the excuses to be weak, but she was a fighter and I loved her to pieces.

There are some precious moments that are shared along the way with Jax and Lilly, these little things really made this story come full circle for me. There was a lot of closure in this particular story for unresolved moments in Until Lily, and I loved getting those.

There have been a lot of books read over the last few years, thousands. But there are some that I remember reading like it was just yesterday. ARR’s books are in that group. For fans of the original series, you’re going to love this book – for new readers, enjoy Jax but understand that you need to read the others, you’ll have to. If you think the second generation of Mayson’s are hot – you need to meet their fathers!

I’m totally addicted to Aurora Rose Reynolds’s books. The Queen of the Alphas!!

I absolutely loved this book in every way. Until Jax was another fan-freaking-tastic book and an amazing addition to the awesome Until series. As always you get your scorching hot sex scenes, possessive and protective sexy Alpha males, great story and characters and unconditional LOVE… This story had it all.

I adore Hope. She was the cutest little thing.

I think my favorite part of this series is that we are given such great epilogues. I love seeing so much into their futures.

ARR is one of those authors that I just love. I just feel so good after reading her books.

Can’t wait to read Until June and Until Sage to get my next BOUM!!!

I can't blame anyone but myself for this. After the failure of Until July I told myself that the Until series was no longer for me. However the teasers did their job in teasing and I went into this with an open mind. Early on my reasons for hesitating came flooding back. The whispering, the growling, the soft faces, the clenching, the whimpering... Unfortunately I wasn't able to move pass it enough to allow myself to find it an enjoyable read.

“She’s your Boom.She’s your forever!„

Unfortunately this book wasn't a winner for me. I was bored most of the time which is sad because I LOVE Aurora Rose's books! I loved the alpha males, the romance, the instalove and their banters in her previous books..
BUT this one didn't work out for me like I wanted to!
If felt like the story was like a copy of her previous ones which were much better!

I couldn't connect with Ellie or Jax , but still - He was HOT! !
I love the instalove but in this book it was too unrealistic for me! They become so obsessed with eachother after they first meeting. I know this book is about the BOOM but this BOOM was toooooo fast for me!

What I really liked about this book was Hope and Jax relationship! She was really sweet, innocent little girl. He was so soft and good with her! So yeah, the little girl kept me reading this book!

I need some of Jax soon

Jax is a total alpha an I luv it the BOOM as his hit him with Ellie an when the BOOM hits the Mayson men it hits hard an Ellie isn't goin 2 know what's hit but neither is Jax
Ellie as been through so much after bein sold by her own mother the bitch but she got away an the Maysons r there to help her an her daughter Hope who is the most cutest kids ever but everything is moving so quick for Ellie after livin life with nothing her dad who she luvd so much died when young an then her mother not giving a shit her bro died in a car accident things can't get worst but the Maysons want to give Ellie an Hope a good life an Jax wants them where he can see them there is still some of the men that took Ellie an others girls out there an Jax an his family r doin every thing they can to find these scum

Things do move quite quick with Ellie an Jax but after readin the other books from the first series this isn't a surprise but Ellie needs to think of Hope she is her main priority an nothing will get in the way of that but Hope is cute sassy an at 3 knows what she wants an can wrap anyone around her finger an I luv this about her but Jax wants Ellie an once the walls r down they r so good together but thing r not easy with whacky hook ups an totally bitchy ex's these things make Ellie doubt if she is doin the rite thing getting with Jax but the pull they have is so strong an helps them

Every person in the Mayson family is so good 2 the dad's mum's sis's bro's etc I just luv them there isn't a book I 've not like from these people but this book was great the lil pieces we got that's coming in other stories is making me want them so much I was waitin ages for this book an I wasn't disappointed at al Ye there was bitches I really wanted to punch so bad I sometimes hate girls there just stupid but the relationship between these main characters an I m putting Hope in this as well this kids broke my heart with the way she was with Jax I just wanted to hug her

I would highly recommend this book an if u haven't read the others series do there so good there's drama seriously hot sexy time an really hot men an this book had al that an more I hated putting this down stupid sleep takin me away haha but really I luvd everything about this xxx

WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK IS THIS BOOK. I AM SORRY AURORA ROSE REYNOLDS BUT BOTH ELLIE AND JULY NEED TO ACTUALLY LEARN TO LIVE IN THE 21ST CENTURU. WHEN A WOMAN SAYS NO OR NEEDS SPACE, SHE FUCKING NEEDS SPACE. SHE DOESNT NEED SOME ASSHAT NEANDERTHAL TO BEAT HIS FUCKING CHEST AND FUCKING HAUL HER TO HIS CAVEROOM TO HAVE HIS WICKED WAYS WITH HER. THESE WOMEN NEED TO GO LEARN FEMINISM 101. I HAVE NOTHING AGAINST ALPHA MEN. I LOVE THEM. BUT FOR A WOMAN TO JUST GIVE HER VOICE TO A MAN... AND HER VAGINA WITHOUT A FREAKING FIGHT, THAT IS NOT A GOOD ALPHA. THAT IS A "WHO THE FUCK DOES THIS GUY THINK HE IS?" ALPHA.
"You're going to watch, Ellie"
"It's too much"
"Get over it"

I don't know if I should laugh or cry.
HOW DARE YOU HAVE THE AUDACITY TO TELL HER WHERE TO FUCKING LOOK. I LOVED AURORAS BOOKS, LIKE Assumption. BUT THIS IS NOT SOMEONE LOVING LIKE KENTON MAYSON. NO. THIS IS A CAVEMAN DOUCHETARD WHO NEEDS TO BE TRANSPORTED TO THE YEAR 25 B.C. WITH THE WAY HES ACTING.

@ 56%. WTF THAT IS NOT HOW YOU TREAT SOMEONE WHO HAS NEVER DONE THAT BEFORE. SHES FREAKING VULNERABLE YOU SELFISH DWEEB.
wait... WTF WHY IS SHE HAPPY??? HES TREATING HER LIKE A SACK OF SWAMP DIRT FILLED WITH LEECHES. BE GENTLE. NOOOO APARENTLY GENTLE OR CONSIDERATE ARE NOT WORDS IN THIS DICKWADS VOCABULARY

@ 57% HOLY MOTHERFUCKER. I WANT TO BEAT THIS MAN TO A FUCKING PULP
"I... notice a small smear of blood, which reminds me that Ellie is mine...bringing the caveman beast inside of me to the surface."
WHAT THE FUCK. OK BUDDY YOU KNOW WHAT A NORMAL, REAL MAN WOULD DO? HE WOULDNT GO ALL MOTORBOAT ON HER AND FUCKING MAKE HER BLEED. AND IF HE DID MAKE HER BLEED, HE WOULD CLEAN HER UP AND FUCKING APOLOGIZE FOR MAKING. HER. FUCKING. BLEED. UGGFHHHH I HATE THIS GUY. WHY AM I STILL READING THIS BOOK.

this book promotes dumbassery and patriarchy

"Jax" that freaking line is on every other page. its the only thing freaking Ellie knows how to say.

this book is so stupid. 88% and still no plot

4 hours of my life... wasted

Ok, I am very sorry. I feel bad that I only write some reviews and I choose to do them on books I hate... That said, maybe some people are really into super annoyingly aggressive men. I am not that kind of person. Read this book if you are. Don't read it if you're not.

Wow I loved this book!
I had so many misinformation about this book that I was not going to read it. Also, the fact that I hated Until Lily and that Jax is the child of manipulation from the other evil woman in that book. I really was going to give this book the skip!
And now I am So glad I gave this book a chance.
The hero is sweet and kind and he just loves the heroine. It was a great story and so hot.
I loved their real life feel relationship. Just a good honest relationship that they both worked at to make it.
However, I could not give it 5 stars because they are both a little too childish. I really don't like how he disregards her wishes when it came to the dogs. I would not take that at all.
Big decision need to be discussed and made together.
She got back at him with the 3 year birth control.
Yeah that's not cool to me at all that just childish.
I don't enjoy these kind of games played by the two main protagonists. Other than this small matter, this book was a great read.

Safety: no OW/OM, no cheating, heroine is a virgin, hero is experienced, hero uses condoms in his past and is safe.

4.25 from me

Much better then her last two books. My main thing is that I really think it needs a new editor. A few obvious mistakes that were easily caught.

Full review to come.

audio reread!

Jax and Ellie were just so sweet. Throw in little Hope and they made the cutest little family.

Jax Mayson was a fantastic hero. He is kind, caring and oh so sexy. He knows immediately upon seeing Ellie that she is his BOOM. Now he has to convince her that he won't break her heart. He was so patient with Ellie and Hope.

Ellie was strong yet vulnerable. She had a horrible childhood. The only person she had to depend on was her brother and his girlfriend and they died in a car wreck, leaving Ellie to raise their infant daughter. Her mother was disgusting. She was horrible to Ellie, so bad that she sold her to sex traffickers. Which is where Jax came into her life when he rescued her.

--awesome alpha hero
--sweet strong heroine
--no cheating whatsoever (once Jax met Ellie, there was NOONE else for him)
--no om drama
--ow drama
--minimal pushing away
--great seconday characters
--really good epilogue with a HEA

she did it again! love me some Jax

UPDATE: These 4 stars are for Roger Wayne narrating. The book itself is about a 2 - 2.5.
All of ARR's books are insta-love, and when I say "insta" I mean INSTA.

Jax (Cash & Lily's son, he does some sort of security thing I think?) meets Ellie (virgin, "mom" to her dead brother's daughter, hairdresser, kind of annoying) when they're rescuing July in book 1. You really need to read that one before you read this one. Ellie is his "Boom" and he moves at warp speed with her. You know the drill - all ARR books are basically the same and follow the same plot map. This one has the bonus of an annoying kid. Perfect example of why I hate kids in books. The biggest part of the book is just him trying to prove that they're meant to be together and she's his, whether she likes it or not. He's always trying to take care of her and she's always resisting and arguing. There's a little drama with a crazy ex-girlfriend and parental drama, then HEA.

The stories are relatively sweet. Because I'm seduced by the sound of Roger Wayne's voice, I've realized that I can't be objective. The writing isn't great, plus it's so freaking repetitive.
