Drifter: Satan's Fury MC: Little Rock (Satan's Fury MC- Little Rock Book 10) by L. Wilder is an MC romance about Raelyn Pierce, an elementary librarian and single mother of two, and Drifter (Walker), a former Enforcer for the Kansas City Satan's Fury MC chapter who is now a Rogue member, constantly traveling to escape the demons haunting him. During an underground fight, Drifter considers joining in but overhears a rival club plotting an attack on the Little Rock Satan's Fury chapter. He then decides to go. The morning Drifter arrived in Little Rock, he visited a diner for breakfast and overheard a mother instructing her sons not to bully others and to complete their assignments, even when visiting their dad for the weekend. He paused to join the conversation on his way out, offering support for the mother’s perspective. Afterward, Drifter headed to the LR to warn the club about upcoming trouble. Both Raelyn and Drifter/Walker decided to return to the diner, hoping to see each other again, as they had felt a connection. After Raelyn joined Walker for coffee at the diner, they spent a long time talking, but neither left with the other's phone number or agreed to meet again. After settling in short-term with Little Rock’s Satan Fury and offering his help in any way, he decided to visit Raelyn’s school in hopes of running into her to exchange phone numbers and ask her out. That moment led to a romance marked by drama, self-preservation, and the struggle to overcome personal demons. Walker lost his wife and toddler son in a horrific way that sealed his heart, while Raelyn had her heart shredded by her ex-husband and best friend, who had an affair that broke up her marriage. The book unfolds their story chapter by chapter, scene after scene, as L. Wilder once again works her storytelling magic in Drifter: Satan's Fury MC: Little Rock (Satan's Fury MC- Little Rock Book 10), delivering another wonderful MC romance with no cheating and a guaranteed HEA.
DRIFTER BY L WILDER 5 stars pub 5/26/26 Drifter (walker) & Raelyn
His life's tragity left him wandering. He didn't completly leave the club, however, her wad no longer asctive. (You will learn his heartbreak later n the book)
His lonely lifeis about to change because of divorced mom asnd her teo boys. I love the characters, the location, romance and the darn book.
L. Wilder's Drifter was about letting go of the past and new beginnings but more so about the deep abiding ties of friendship in both good and bad times.
A ghost among the living, former Satan's Fury Kansas City chapter enforcer, Drifter was a shell of the man he used to be. Immersed in a tragic past he could not see past Drifter seemed destined to live a life of solitude. Tethered to his existence by the loyalty of his friends to a life he no longer felt worthy of this character was a hair trigger away from losing himself completely.
Everything Raelyn Pierce thought she knew and fought for was rapidly being torn away from her with the exception of her sons. Not a day went by that she was not reminded of all the things she had lost or was losing. Yet with a strength that few had she managed to move forward despite the pain of her losses.
Emotions ran high in this story and the brokenness of this pair felt raw and real. It was hard to not get choked up as memories flooded the pages and tormented Drifter and Raelyn with what was and what could have been. Life’s hard knocks were abundant in this work but this couple did not let them hold them down even as they struggled with them in their darkest moments. Reality piled up fast and yet these characters found a common bond of kindness and shared loneliness finding their missing piece in each other to break them out of their isolation. Drifter and Raelyn's attraction to each other was so much more than physical and while their chemistry was hot it was spurred on by their genuine connection on an emotional level.
L. Wilder is well known for her gritty MC portrayals and complex suspense subplots but throughout her works it is her character's balance of humanity that stands out. This writer continues to bring thoughtful stories that show depth where her character's deal with the choices they make and must come to terms with. Drifter takes readers on a restless ride of darkness to ultimately ride on to a happily ever after as only L. Wilder can map out and guide her biker home!
*I was given an advanced copy. All opinions expressed are my own.* *While this book can be read as a stand-alone reading, the other books in this series would enhance the overall reading experience.*
Drifter is the tenth book in L Wilder’s Satan’s Fury MC - Little Rock chapter and this story grabbed a hold of me and didn’t let go. There’s the usual chaos that comes with living the MC life and dealing with outside threats, but this book was so much more than that. It’s about loss, grief, healing, and learning to love again when you least expect it.
After the loss of his wife and son, Walker ran away from his MC and position as enforcer of the Kansas City chapter of Satan’s Fury, and has been drifting ever since. For five long years, the guilt, along with the ghosts he carries, always follow him. While he’s at an underground fight he overhears a rival MC talking about their plan to take down the Little Rock chapter. Deciding he needs to give them a face to face heads up, he heads to Little Rock. Stopping to eat at a local diner, he overhears a mother talking to her two young sons and is instantly taken by her.
Raelyn Pierce is a divorced mother raising her two sons. While eating breakfast at a local diner before meeting their dad, she is talking to them about being kind to their classmates when a gorgeous man stops and backs up what she’s saying. They make eye contact and they both feel that zing that neither have felt in a long time.
My heart broke when we finally learn what happened to Walker’s wife and son. It’s no wonder he’s been a shell of himself all this time. And Raelyn. Well, there’s nothing like learning your bestie is banging your husband. Oh, and now they’re having a baby. Ouch. But Raelyn is strong and decides enough is enough and that she needs to start living her life. These two are magnificent together. There’s chemistry, but there’s an easiness to their relationship that just feels natural. Most of all, Rae is patient with Walker because she knows that’s what he needs most. She’s there and listens, and that gives him the hope he needs to open his heart again. Not that she really gave him much of a choice ;)
Overall, another great story from L Wilder and the Satan’s Fury MC - Little Rock chapter. This one may just be my favorite in the series.
L. Wilder yet again proves why she is one of the queens of MC romance with Drifter, the 10th instalment in the Satan’s Fury MC: Little Rock series — and honestly, I refuse to believe this can be the final ride with this chapter because I am simply not ready to let these characters go.
No matter how many of her books I read, I still can never truly articulate just how outstanding her storytelling is. The moment I step inside one of her worlds, the characters don’t just exist on the page… they come alive. Their pain becomes yours, their love becomes yours, and with Drifter, my emotions were all over the place from beginning to end.
Five years ago, tragedy shattered Walker’s world, forcing him to leave his chapter behind and spend years drifting with no real place to call home. Watching his journey unfold was emotional, raw, and deeply moving. Then comes Rae — a divorced mother of two boys who has already faced her own heartbreak and struggles. Their connection wasn’t planned, wasn’t expected, but sometimes fate has other ideas when two broken souls need each other most.
What I loved so much about this story was that it wasn’t just about romance. It was about healing. About finding peace after pain. About learning to trust again and discovering that love can still exist even after life has knocked you down repeatedly. Walker and Rae completely stole my heart, and Rae’s boys only added even more depth and emotion to a story that already hit hard.
L. Wilder delivers everything I want from an MC romance — emotion, loyalty, brotherhood, chemistry, heartbreak, hope, and characters that stay with you long after the final page.
This is the 10th book in this phenomenal series, and this is Walker / Drifter and Raelyn’s story. Walker / Drifter’s life is shattered when he loses his wife and son, and he is constantly travelling to escape the demons from his past, but when he overhears a conversation, he heads to Little Rock to warn the MC of approaching danger. Raelyn is a single mom to her two sons, and when she is in the diner talking to them, Walker overhears and is instantly drawn to her. Walker and Raelyn compliment each other perfectly, but can he settle in Little Rock? This is a well written action packed, slow burn, emotional roller coaster, with family, friendships, loss, grief, suspense, intrigue, guilt, heartbreak, making choices, taking chances, humour, healing, second chances, undeniable chemistry, and love, which leads to an entertaining, tragic, haunting, and unpredictable addictive page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.
I absolutely loved this emotional tale. Drifter aka Walker is just existing as he moves from.place to place to try to live with his grief, he is a member of Satan's Fury Kansas City chapter so when he hears a rumor about trouble for the Little Rock Chapter he.knows he needs to go warn Preacher and the Little Rock brothers. He.is.not expecting to meet Raelynn and her sons on he first day in town nor that he can't stop thinking about her. Rae felt a real connection to Walker so the week after meeting him she goes back to the diner where they first met.on the chance that he might be there, when he is she almost doesn't approach but he sees her and invites her over, starting their story but they both have emotional scars that will need to be dealt with to be able.to.move forward. I highly recommend this great addition the Little Rock series.
I loved this one sooo much!!! It’s a little different from the normal stories in these series since he’s a little bit on the outside, but we get to see some of our favorite previous characters which is nice. Drifter has been moving around the US ever since he lost his wife and son. He can’t fully get over the grief. Poor man! That is, until he hears Rae and her boys in the diner they are all eating at. Something tells him to get up and comment on what they are discussing. Both him and Rae feel the pull to go back to the same diner in hopes of seeing each other again. And it works…. They meet again… and start gradually hanging out….
These are two characters who have been beaten down by circumstance and learn to love again with each other. I loved them both very much! And Rae’s boys are the sweetest! I could have devoured this story in one sitting if time allowed!!!
This was such a fantastic read that I couldn’t put down! A tragic tale that will have you all up in your feels! Walker has been drifting for years after losing his whole world. He ends up in Little Rock to warn Preacher and his boys about some trouble headed their way. Along the way he meets Raelynn and her two boys. A single mom that is trying to raise her boys right. These two are both dealing with some baggage but decide to see where things take them. A truly beautiful story that broke my heart and put it back together again! I absolutely loved how Walker was so patient and kind with the boys! They really deserved that! A very enjoyable book that I highly recommend! I am voluntarily reviewing this book
This story was absolutely fantastic. I was emotionally invested from the very first page. Raelynn is a single mom who is a librarian at the elementary school, whose ex-husband‘s wife works at the school and was once her best friend. She has two sons that absolutely stole my heart. A chance meeting at a diner, introduces her to Drifter a.k.a. Walker who is a nomad with Satan‘s fury. Walker experienced a tragedy in his life that his left him drifting from place to place, but that one chance meeting pulls him back to that Diner in the hopes of seeing Raelynn again. These two beautiful souls find a way to heal each other and in the process, absolutely stole my heart. This was absolutely a five star read for me and one I will be revisiting
What an excellent and heartfelt story in the Fury seriesWhen tragedy strikes, Walker’s life changes in the blink of an eye. The amount of grief and guilt that he has is immeasurable. His only way of dealing with his grief is to keep moving. When he stops at a little Diner in Little Rock on his way to see Preacher, he has no idea that his life will be changed forever. Rae and her boys are the breath of fresh air that he needs to finally realize that he is able to move on. Add in a little Fury drama, this is a story that will keep you glued to each page. This story is one that you didn’t realize you needed. It proves that love can win if both parties have the patience and strength to let grief and heartache fade to happiness!
This is absolutely brilliant but prepare to sob into your tea.
This latest Satan's Fury MC book is an absolute emotional wrecking ball. We’ve got Walker, a broken biker drifting through five years of pure grief, and Raelyn, a fierce single mum and school librarian just trying to protect her teens. Both are carrying mountains of trauma, but their connection is beautiful, a proper "don't judge a book by its cover" romance. It’s packed with heavy suspense, tragic backstories, and a hard-earned HEA that will give your heartstrings a right old tug.
This is sharp, and deeply moving. Grab the tissues, put the kettle on, and get stuck in.
It's a story of two broken souls brought together by a chance encounter. It was an instant attraction but quickly grows into an unshakeable bond. There's heartfelt emotion that's so well written it jumps out of the pages and grabs you by the throat. It was heartbreaking, heartwarming and heartfelt all at once. It was a beautifully written love story. But don't worry, there was still the humour and action brought to you by the guys of Satan's Fury that we all love. It was an unexpected but awesome addition to the series. L. Wilder hit it out of the park once again. A must read! I received an advanced readers copy from the author for an honest review of this book.
This story is not for the faint of heart. The scenes with a rival gang were tough to take and Walker's past was heartbreaking. That said, this book was so hard to put down! It was intense and strong and I'm glad that the author featured the Drifter; Walker isn't actually part of the Little Rock MC- but he knew them from being a part of the Kansas City chapter. I love the brotherhood of this MC. The romance between Walker and Raelynn, a single mother, was good- I have to admit I thought it took a bit of a back seat to the actual drama of the rival wars and Drifter's past, but I adored how she stood by him.
Drifter's story is a bit emotional and wonderful addition to an already amazing series. Drifter's club name suits him after he suffered a tragic lost that left him broken, guilt ridden and not being able to settle in one place for long. Rae was happy with her boys and her marriage until the two people she trusted the most hurt her. Drifter and Rea can't seem to stop thinking about one another and the more they are together the more we learn about their past. Will his past keep him from being happy? Will Rea and her boys be enough for him to settle? Grab this book and find out for yourself you won't be disappointed.
I knew Drifter's story would be a good one! After losing his family, Walker turns nomad and drifts from place to place. He stops in with the brothers of Little Rock and finds what he's been missing. He wasn't looking for her, but Rae is and him are inevitable.
I love how Leslie digs into each character without repeating the same, tired, back stories. I did think the stuff with the Coyotes was a little anticlimactic but know this isn't the end of that drama. Looking forward to our next brother of Fury!
This was a story about forgiveness and finding love. Walker had been through so much, for so long he carried the weight of his grief, drifting from town to town wherever the road took him; still a part of the MC but no longer wearing his patch.
Rae was an amazing mom to her boys but sometimes a person can only take so much before they eventually break. One diner, one conversation between a family and a passing comment from a stranger and two lives forever changed.
What an incredible story, the final chapter-3years later was perfect.
I was so excited when I saw that Drifter was up for pre-order! I have loved all the Satan’s Fury MC books and Drifter’s story just took hold of my heart! I have literally not left the house and read this in one sitting, with my partner throwing snacks at me and pouring me drinks! (He’s a keeper!) Anywho, as I said before this totally stole my heart and I absolutely loved it!! What a fantastic read!!
This was a shocking and emotional edition to the Little Rock Chapter of Satan's Fury MC.
Walker has been drifting from place to place for five years now after a tragedy took his whole world. When he hears a rival MC talking about Little Rock he heads there to warn them and he meets a single Mom with two teens that he cant stop thinking about.
“Some of the best stories don’t look like much at first. Same goes for people.” I motioned my hand at my chest.
Raelyn is divorced. A school librarian her boys are her life.
“You can’t judge a book by its cover,”
Some suspense with a beautiful and tragic story on both sides. Ending in a HEA that you don’t want to miss.
Holy smokes what a ride this was! I absolutely loved everything about Walker/Drifter and Raelyn. Walker is full of heart, and that heart hurts. Raelyn is a strong, amazing single mom. The story grabbed hold and did not let go! It hits the emotions hard, and twists the heart. There will be tears, but there's connection, and love that heals. These two have a pull that is hard to deny! Add in the closeness of the guys, the bonds that they all have, and it just makes for an excellent read!
I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
Kansas Satans Fury brought the WHOLE PACKAGE with the Silver Fox of a man Drifter!!! Everything from grief and trying to survive through it to some delicious fight scenes all the way down the road to the man can love hard… YES GIRL YES, all about the real and you gave it to us in this read. Fill that wine glass and drift away into one hellava goos story.
Drifter has been on the move for five years, trying to outrun his guilt after an accident changed his life forever. When he hears trouble is heading to Little Rock, he knows he needs to help his brothers.
Absolutely loved Drifter and Raelyn’s story. Their chemistry and emotional journey kept me hooked from start to finish. Highly recommend this book
It's been a long time since I read any books from this series. I don't remember if I read anything in the other books about what happened to his wife and son. It leaves a hole that's hard to fill, I can relate. They make a great couple, him and Rae and he's good with her boys. Excellent story. HEA.
One of the best books I’ve read so far this year. Drifter has been traveling for about 5 years as a nomad. He tries to live with his grief as best he can. But the day he meets Rae in the diner, he feels that connection. Rae and her sons have awakened in him a new lease on life. But can Rae deal with his emotional past that haunts him? They both are broken souls but need each other to heal. This was such an emotional book for me. I loved it!
I absolutely love this book! I see why she had to write it. Raelynn perfect for drifter she gave him something to stop him drifting around. I just felt for him with everything he went through. It was a lot. I highly recommend this book. I can’t wait till the next book.
LOVE LOVE LOVE this series and ALL Wilder’s characters & their stories!! Great action and the love stories! Like that the bad guys get their due! Love how the women are strong & smart!
This was a good story. Focused more on the relationship between the 2 mains and her children than the MC. I usually skip around between the books in series not reading in order but the Little Rock guys have been my favorite of the Fury chapters. Wonder who is next to find the love bug 💕.
Wow. What a story. It has tragedy. I couldn't put the book down once I started.
I loved Rae and Drifter together, they met when they both needed it. Drifter had a tragic past that he never stayed in one place. Rae has been through a lot and has two amazing boys.
