Heads, we keep it friendly. Tails, we let love win.
WARNER I know what it costs to love and lose. And I pay that price again the moment I see Campbell. She’s Michigan royalty with unlimited open doors. I’m an Army veteran, sleeping on a friend’s couch after a recent POTS diagnosis stripped away the only identity I’ve ever known. I shouldn’t allow myself to be pulled into her orbit, especially when she’s vulnerable. She needs safety, distance, and control. The exact opposite of what I feel when we’re together. Anything more than friendship would tether her to my instability. I’d become a weight for her to carry. An excuse she’d have to make. And I refuse to be selfish or risk falling for someone I could never keep.
CAMPBELL Warner is scars and sacrifice wrapped in quiet strength with a heart too big for his own good. The most maddening, magnetic man I’ve ever met. He keeps me at arm’s length like he’s protecting me from something. Like I haven’t worn armor my entire life—always being told I’m too much and not enough at the same time. But with him, I don’t have to shrink. He sees me. Defends me. Makes space for me, even when he’s struggling to cope. If only he could see he’s not broken. Not a burden. Just mine. But how can I hold on to him—help him, love him—if he’s already convinced he must let me go?

Book Review I’ve Got You A Novel Written By Alexandra Grace Fiction - Romance Published June 2026 288 Pages ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Alexandra Grace’s books provide an insight into our military veterans and the invisible scars they return home with. This book is no exception. In this book the author brings awareness to POTS, Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome.
The two main characters, Campbell Leigh and Warner Douglas, meet each other when both need a friend. They both need someone to be their safe place. This is a sweet story as two strangers become friends which leads to a deeper intimate relationship.
“Friends aren’t something you deal with. They make life better. You’ve already been a light in mine.”
🩷 Strangers to “friends” to lovers 🩷 Road trip 🩷 Caretaking 🩷 Overcoming tr4uma 🩷 Veteran/POTS rep 🩷 Opposite sides of the track 🩷 Fade-to-black contemporary romance
This is a short close door romance with a medically discharged veteran and a student who lost her gran. I read the shorter version of this story in an analogy and now we got a perfect extension. Campbell is trying to find out how continue on after the passing of her grandmother. Warner is trying to survive after begin medically discharged from the Army. When Warner and Campbell's paths crossed it is when they both need it the most.
I love this story but then again I love all of Alexandra Grace's stories. This did not disappoint. It was a story about two people who needed each other the most without realising it. They learned what it means to be truly loved. Campbell and Warner's love story with rebel crackers and coin tosses. I enjoyed the extended version of the story as we got to see what happens after the funeral. It rounds off the story and we get to see the HEA.
This books is pain, loss, happiness, love and hope. It will make you laugh but also pull on your heart strings.
Thank you Alexandra Grace for giving me the opportunity to read this book in exchange for my honest review. I am looking forward to reading future works.
While Alexandra Grace is an author on my TBR, this is the first book I have read by her. I’ve Got You is a heartwarming, romantic story that layers in emotional turmoil. It is beautifully written, utterly captivating, and a wonderful reminder to not judge a person before you know them. Our MCs provide a story of seeing past the brokenness and finding what truly makes a person shine and how one person can make another feel. Alexandra captures one hardship that veterans can experience after returning to civilian life and the importance of providing them with help and resources. This book will sweep you off your feet as it focuses on the internal workings of falling in love.
Warner doesn’t know who he is outside of the military. When he is medically discharged, he struggles with what this means for him and the adjustment to life outside of everything he knows. You can take the soldier out of the military, but the soldier’s heart lives on, which you see when he comes to Cambell’s aide. From the moment he sees her, he is captivated and taken by her. Campbell sees something different in Warner as well. Campbell accepts Warner for everything he is and isn’t, while Warner struggles with being enough for her. He knows she deserves the world, which he doesn’t feel he can give her.
I cannot say enough good things about this book and Alexandra. I loved everything about this book and the development our characters go through. I felt for Warner and his struggles, while wanting him to see himself as Cambell and I did. He is impossible to not love and see the good that flows through him. Both of our MCs lift each other up, refusing to let bad thoughts take over or let anyone look down on the other.
This book made me feel so many emotions, yet I couldn’t put it down. I fell in love with Campbell and Warner as individuals and a couple. Alexandra captures the essence of it’s ok to not be ok so well and I believe this book can help many people see and accept that. Seeing past the exterior and labels that people put on you is front and center too. If you are looking for a sweet, fuzzy, cozy romance, this book is 100% for you! Alexandra, I will definitely be reading more of your books soon!
As always, review any author notes before reading.

Alexandra Grace’s books offer a powerful look into the lives of our military veterans and the invisible scars they often carry long after returning home. I've Got You is no exception, bringing much-needed awareness to POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome), a hidden disability that is still widely misunderstood. I especially appreciated that she chose to shine a light on this condition, highlighting the daily challenges that many people with POTS face. Everyday activities like working, completing basic tasks, or even standing can be incredibly difficult, and this story portrays those struggles with compassion and authenticity.
Alexandra also beautifully captures one of the many hardships veterans may experience as they transition back to civilian life, emphasizing the importance of support, understanding, and access to resources.
I've Got You is a heartwarming romance layered with emotional depth. It is beautifully written, captivating, and serves as a touching reminder not to judge someone before truly knowing their story. Campbell Leigh and Warner Douglas meet at a time when they both desperately need a friend. Each is searching for a safe place, and watching their friendship naturally blossom into something deeper is both sweet and incredibly moving. Their relationship develops with patience, trust, and genuine care, making it easy to fall in love with them both as individuals and as a couple.
This book took me on an emotional journey that I couldn't put down. Alexandra Grace perfectly captures the message that it's okay to not be okay, and I believe this story has the power to help readers better understand and accept both themselves and others. Looking beyond appearances and the labels people place on one another is at the heart of this novel.
If you're looking for a sweet, cozy, heartwarming romance filled with emotion, healing, and hope, I've Got You is absolutely the book for you.
Thank you to Alexandra Grace for the ARC, but more importantly for writing this amazing, meaningful stories!
A huge thank you to the author and publisher for providing an Advanced Reader Copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. I've Got You by Alexandra Grace is a cute, warm, and fuzzy story that makes for a very quick, easy, and summery beach read. One of the most refreshing aspects of the book is the way conflict is handled; there are no frustrating miscommunications or unnecessary breakups, allowing the main characters to rely on each other and hold strong together throughout. I also really appreciated that it is a closed-door romance, which forces you to use your imagination and makes the story feel much more emotionally based rather than relying on quick spice or lust mixed in with eventual love.
However, a few elements made it difficult for me to fully invest in the romance. Love at first sight is not my favorite trope to begin with, and I just didn't entirely feel the connection between Warner and Campbell. Because something felt missing, the incredibly fast pace of their relationship was a hard pill to swallow; I kept thinking the story would have had a much stronger hook if they had known each other in childhood and she had walked back into his life, which would have made the rapid progression far more believable. Additionally, I wished for more depth regarding Warner’s background in the Army and his POTS diagnosis. Aside from him passing out a few times, I never quite felt the emotional depth or the true "pain" of how difficult this condition must be for him. Ultimately, while the lack of emotional weight and the instant-love connection kept it from being a total favorite for me, it remains a sweet, feel-good contemporary romance perfect for a day by the water.

𝘔𝘺 𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩𝘵𝘴: I love that this story shines a light on POTS because it’s not a well known condition and is a hidden disability, the daily struggle of doing tasks, working, even as simple as standing up is a real serious struggle. I am diagnosed with POTS so to read a book that represents the condition so well and throughly explains how it feels and what struggles people with it face daily and the impact it can have on others around us and our social lives is very well represented, I feel seen and understood. I also loved that Warner is an army Veteran. I wished I could hug Campbell after she lost someone so incredibly close and important to her, I love a closed door romance so much and this story did it perfectly. The slow build up of trust and love and security before jumping into bed straight away mattered most to me! I really like them together, can’t stand Campbell’s mother! She was really grinding my gears.

If I had to describe this book in a sentence, it would be “This book is a warm hug that tells you that everything will be okay.” And boy do I wish I could give both of these characters a hug!
The writing in this book was both well done and easy to read. It had it’s moments of simplicity but also moments where you could feel everything both the characters and the author wanted the reader to feel.
The world would be a better place if Warner and Campbell were real people. The softness and gentleness they had with each other was one of my favourite parts of this book. Not only did they make each other feel safe and loved, but I also felt that through the writing.
I love books with military vets in them. Whether it be mental battles, scars, or just stories from their service, it always adds an element of realness to the story. On the opposite side, I’m not a huge fan of instant attraction or love at first sight, nor am I fan of the relationship moving quickly (I’m a slow burn girly) However, I absolutely loved this book and never found myself annoyed by the pace of their relationship! This is 100% a book I will come back to read again when I’m in need of a soft loving story :)
“That’s when I realize vulnerability isn’t a weakness. It’s trust. It’s presence. And it’s the most beautiful thing we share.” - Warner, baby, you’ve got me in my damn feels over here with your words!
4⭐ I love Alexandra Grace’s books, and this one was another swoon-worthy romance.
What didn’t particularly suit my fancy: Personally, I’m not an instant-love kind of gal, so I struggled a bit with how quickly Warner and Campbell fell for each other. I really tried to immerse myself in their fairytale romance and just believe in the magic of it, but it wasn’t always easy for me. Also, while I’m not a medical expert and don’t have personal experience with POTS, I found myself concerned by how frequently Warner faints throughout the story, especially since it didn’t seem to receive as much attention or discussion toward the end as I expected.
What definitely hit the sweet spots: I’m a sucker for a soft-hearted military man, and walking green flags and Warner will steal your heart. I also loved watching Campbell grow stronger as she navigated the loss of her grandmother. One of my favorite aspects of the book was how supportive Warner and Campbell were of each other’s goals and dreams. Their partnership felt genuine, encouraging, and enjoyable to read.
I also appreciated how the ending tied together many of the book’s central themes and backstories, particularly Campbell’s inheritance and Warner’s experiences as a disabled military veteran. Finally, I highly recommend Alexandra Grace’s books because they can absolutely sweep you off your feet without relying on explicit scenes. It’s refreshing to read a romance that focuses on emotional connection, tenderness, and intimacy rather than pages of steamy content.
*Thank you to the author for this ARC opportunity*
I haven’t read a book from this author that I did not love and this book is no exception. Campbell and Warner’s love story was so heartwarming it may have been insta love but sometimes that’s how life is. When you know you know. Warner was medically discharged from the military when his condition arised that put him and others in harms way. When Warner first saw Campbell in a horrible situation with her boyfriend he stepped in and took control of the situation. He was smitten with her from the moment he saw her, she saw something in him that intrigued her as well. He treated her differently than anyone before. Only his best friend knew of his POTS issue and when his episodes would happen he would try to get away from people especially Campbell. He was ashamed of it. Medically he really didn’t know there was treatment for it he just knew it controlled his life. When he finally admitted to Campbell about him having POTS she was very kind and when it would happen she was always there to take care of him. When her grandmother passed away she had to go to the funeral and the reading of the will Warner went with her to support her through every thing from losing her grandmother and the situation with her mother. She went to say goodbye to the only family that mattered. Through everything both of them went through they fell deeper and deeper in love with the other. Both of them went through such heartbreaking things but was always there for the other. This was a very heartwarming and wonderful love story one that I loved and absolutely recommend.
This is a sweet and heartwarming romance about two people whose lives seem worlds apart. It left me feeling warm, emotional, and completely swoony.
Warner's life hasn't been easy. After receiving a diagnosis that leads to his honorable discharge from the military, he struggles to find stable work and a sense of purpose. Just when he's at one of the lowest points in his life, he meets Campbell.
Campbell is a medical student from a wealthy family, but she's far from a spoiled princess. After being betrayed by a cheating ex, she has sworn off relationships. However, there's something about Warner that immediately slips past her defenses, making her question the walls she's built around her heart.
Despite Warner's insecurities and the significant gap in their social and financial backgrounds, the connection between them feels natural and genuine. Their journey together is filled with tenderness, support, and plenty of heartfelt moments.
The story leans heavily into the idea that love can overcome any obstacle, which makes it feel a little idealistic at times. Still, it's undeniably romantic, emotional, and swoon-worthy. If you're looking for a feel-good romance with lovable characters and lots of heart, this is a good read.
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Warner is ex Army. Honourably discharged for medical reasons. He has PTSD and POTS. POTS causes him to have frequent fainting spells which makes it hard to hold down a job or anything else meaningful. He doesn’t have a job, is sleeping on his friends couch and is constantly feeling like a failure, then he meets Campbell. It’s like a switch is flipped. She can’t cure his POTS but she definitely improves every other aspect of his life.
Campbell has had a hard childhood. Her mother always made her feel like she wasn’t enough from a young age. She wasn’t allowed to dance, had to have ‘proper’ friends whose parents had healthy bank accounts, unfortunately it didn’t stop as she got older. Her mother insists she marries a man who has wealth, regardless of if he cheats on her or not. Then her grandmother dies. The one person who was there for her as a child. Who she still went to see regularly, the one person she could rely on and tell her anything. Her mother will be left the house and then she will have no reminder of her Gran. She want be able to go and see her at her resting place. But her Gran has other ideas!
Absolutely loved this book! Especially that Warner, the male main character has POTS. They’re the perfect match for each other. Loved the bit about Murphy too!
I recieved this book as an ARC and am leaving an honest review.
Firstly I'd like to say thank you to the author Alexandra Grace for the opportunity of reading this ARC for an honest review.
When I first read the blurb of this story I was happy to see that POTS would be represented. Even happier when discovered that it was Warner and not Campbell. We mostly hear about women going through this. So to have it shown/told from a male's perspective was refreshing.
The start was a bit slow and took me a bit to get into. After getting about 20% in was starting to connect a bit more. There's a lot slow burning and yearning between the FMC Campbell and MMC Warner. And in a another sort of twist Warner was the one holding off and wanting them to take their time getting to know each other.
Side characters such as her mother and Graham, we could have done without or less of. Than really didn't add much to the story other than being annoying.
This book gave a bit of rom-com vibes with the added sweet moments of Warner and Campbell being their for each other. He may have fell first but she fell harder.
Overall it was a sweet quick read, no big dramas, or 2nd act breakups. Just two people falling for each other quickly and deciding to make a lifetime of memories together.
Fresh out the army due to a recent POTS diagnosis, Warner is struggling to adapt to civilian life and his new disability. I didn’t know very much about POTS, so enjoyed the representation and awareness of the condition. I think it was a realistic portrayal of a man struggling to come to terms with his disability, when health and fitness was everything to him and his career.
Warner’s not looking for a relationship but when Campbell walks into the bar he’s instantly drawn to her and wants to protect her from her scummy boyfriend who was cheating on her. Having just discovered this, Campbell has sworn off men but she can’t deny the attraction she has to Warner, the only thing is he turns her down. I love leaving things to chance, so really enjoyed Campbell using the coin to make her decisions.
This is a fast paced, instant attraction, closed door romance. They are both very different characters and come from different backgrounds but they make it work. Warner has some issues to work through and Campbell experiences a devastating loss and they both help and support each other to work through their challenges. It’s sweet and they make such a lovely couple.
It’s easy to read, emotional and romantic. Perfect for a nice summer read. Overall, I rate this 3.5⭐️
Thank you to the author for the opportunity to read and review this arc of I've Got You in exchange for an honest review.
Firstly, I really loved the POTS rep through Warner, it was one of the tropes that caught my eye! Campbell and Warner's story was a lot of yearning, back and forth turmoil and the occasional snarky side characters (Graham and Campbell's mother deserve each other lol). Warner was a powerful supporter in Campbell's corner, even though she was a very strong and ambitious FMC all on her own.
Reasoning for my rating; Although, looking forward to reading this book. I had a hard time feeling drawn to the story as it unfolded. Campbell's mother was a hard character to digest. I do think the turmoil between this couple took up so much of this book, that it was a little repetitive. Small moments of vulnerability truly saved my interest in reading!
I really wished I loved I've Got You more, hopefully in a few months time I can reread and find a new appreciation and perspective.
I think we talk a lot about strong characters in romance.
The ones who fight. The ones who save the day. The ones who never give up.
But what about the characters whose greatest act of courage is letting someone care about them?
That's what I found in I've Got You. Warner is carrying the weight of a life that looks nothing like the one he planned. Campbell has spent years living under expectations that never quite fit. Neither of them is looking for forever. But sometimes the right person doesn't show up to change your life. They show up and sit beside you while you're figuring it out.
This story isn't about perfect people finding perfect love. It's about two people learning that being loved doesn't require being flawless, healed, or having all the answers. It's soft in the places that matter. Emotional without being heavy. Romantic without losing sight of what makes the characters feel real.
And by the final page, I wasn't thinking about the tropes. I was thinking about how rare it is to find a story that feels this genuinely human.
I love stories written by Alexandra Grace. I know I will dive into a deep, emotional and heartbreaking story. One that will break me, put me back together, make me cry and jump for joy all in one book. I love the chemistry she builds between the MC's, it's so good and she does it all without the sex scenes. To achieve swooney, heartfelt and emotional moments without the sex and still make it good, no, fantastic. Now that's what I call good writing. Alexandra makes you root for her characters, you become their cheerleader, you want to fight along side them, suffer with them and kiss their boo-boos away. The journey in Alexandra's stories are always worth while.
My stats: 1st kiss: 60% Romance: 4⭐ Chemistry: 5⭐ Spice: none; fade to black, behind closed doors Humor: 1⭐ Cry factor: 2⭐ Drama: 3⭐ Suspense: 0⭐ Foul language: 2,5⭐ Faith elements: 0⭐ POV: 1st person, dual POV AI content: none that I noticed
I absolutely LOVE the fact that this book mentions and brings light to POTS as a diagnosis and goes into detail how it affects your every day life. The struggles of doing simple things and maintaining a normal routine with work and school. There are so many people that deal with this condition so to see it in a MC helps to make those people feel seen and heard. He is also an Army veteran so that even more of a plus for inclusion. Warner is trying to find any sense of stability since he’s currently sleeping on a friend’s couch and after a few weeks of working odd jobs here and there he loses them because of his condition. He has nothing to offer himself so he definitely has nothing to offer anyone else which is why he is hesitant when Campbell walks into his life. The chemistry is instant and the tension is deep seeded but as much as he wants to act on it, he knows he can’t. She comes from a completely different world than he does and she deserves better. Campbell on the other hand isn’t going to let meaningless things like wealth get in her way of finally finding something real. Someone who sees her for her and not the amount of money in her pocket or who her family is. She needs to break down those walls of his and find her way inside because she sees a future with Warner. This is a back and forth battle of Campbell trying to convince Warner that he is enough, he is not broken and Warner knowing deep inside that he will do nothing but bring her down and genuinely wants more for her. This one was truly emotional in a way I didn’t expect.
This was such a cute, swoony, story with plenty of banter. The writing style was fun and easy to read-many things were highlighted. I cried during the middle part of the story!
Between the family dynamic Campbell had with her mom, and the relationship she had with her Gran before her passing was complete opposites, and so relatable. She had to learn how to be strong and stand up for herself even when it was hard.
Warner had to deal with Pots and being honorably discharged from the military, along with the PTSD he experienced-the author did a great job of portraying that in this story, along with Warner learning how to let himself be worth of love.
The love between Warner and Campbell was so refreshing to read about. It didn't come with things attached, judgement, or having to prove themselves.
If you like your stories cozy, with all the feels, get your tissues ready and read this one!
Campbell poor girl. I felt her pain of being “too much” and “not enough at the same time. Latching onto things to feel “loved” that absolutely weren’t. Warner is a lost and lonely soldier with a huge heart. Together Campbell and Warner learned what actual love is together. It’s the support and comfort that each felt from each other that they didn’t have from anyone else.
I didn’t want to put this story down. I love the way Campbell would tease Warner and he would get flustered. It was hilarious! I love the care and compassion they showed each other. I love how even though their story is quick it didn’t feel rushed. It was smooth and honestly felt natural. I also loved the Jo Dee Messina reference! It made me instantly smile. This book is a closed door spice for my spicy girlies. However for me the story spoke for itself that I didn’t it to make the story excellent and exciting.
Thank you to the author for providing a free digital ARC read of I’ve Got You by Alexandra Grace. The cover grabbed my attention right away and once I started reading, I couldn’t stop turning the pages. In this story, we follow Campbell and Warren as their relationship grows from strangers to friends and eventually to lovers. Their journey feels genuine and heartfelt and watching their connection develop was such a joy. The storytelling has a lovely flow and every character adds something meaningful to the book Campbell especially stood out to me. It’s an easy, comforting read, the kind that feels like a warm hug. The small town setting adds even more charm and makes the whole experience feel cozy and inviting. Overall, I highly enjoyed this one and would recommend it to any reader who loves romance books.
This was such a cute, closed-door romance story to read. I’m not one for the “love at first sight” trope but I did enjoy reading about Campbell’s journey after the news of her gran’s passing. I would have loved to dive more into Warners backstory or have a little more insight/detail on his condition to help you really feel the impact it has on his life. This would absolutely help readers better appreciate the role Campbell takes helping him through his symptoms and her grand gestures at the end.
I did love that Warner didn’t give in to the persuasive flirting Campbell was throwing at him and helped build their connection before commencing any “relations”.
The writing style was excellent and easy to follow. This is absolutely a great fluffy read for a nice summer day or after a mind consuming book/series.
I received an ARC from the author & am offering this review voluntarily.
He's a veteran with a medical disorder. She is a future doctor with an ass of a boyfriend. They meet by chance as Warner defends Campbell from her jerk boyfriend. Then they run into one another again by chance. She wants to throw herself at him. He is the voice of reason. Warren is basically homeless, Campbell is very well off- well, her family is. When she runs across his path one night, he starts to walk away from her and the next thing she knows, he is passed out on the sidewalk. She calls his friend and they get him back to her apartment. They try to keep it in the friend zone until she has to go home for the reading of her grandmother's will and she asks him to come along. There are surprises for both of them. This was a sweet read with very likable characters.
Loved this contemporary romance. It’s filled with self discovery, tender moments, silly adventures, mental health rep and tons of slow burn tension. It’s a journey of finding a love that makes you feel seen and cherished and who doesn’t want that.
This is what I would consider a closed door romance. Lots of steamy kisses and tension filled moments without the full the sex being front and center.
Favorite quote:
“My heart swells and tightens at the same time, making it harder to breathe. It’s that feeling of being seen, completely, by someone choosing to step into your world instead of watching from the edges.”
The dedication hooked me, and the story wrapped me in a hug. Reading an expanded version of Walker and Campbell’s story was like visiting best friends. I had already enjoyed the closed-door romance between the military veteran struggling to get back into ordinary life and the determined woman who wanted to pave her own way, when I was introduced to them in the Neon Lights Anthology. I was pleasantly surprised by additional character development and backstories, more emotions, and added shenanigans as the two supported each other in their personal journeys. A heartfelt and charming romance. Thanks to the author for the eARC
Thank you to the Author for the early copy of your book! This is a sweet and warm love story of two people who found eachother when they needed someone the most. I love how they were both able to help eachother with their difficult situations. They have an instant connection but take things slow, which makes their connection build more and more. Warner is strong and protective of Cambell. Even while dealing with POTS, he helps her through her grief. Campbell is sweet and thoughtful and is able to put Warners needs before her wants easily. This is an quick and perfect summer romance read.
I also love the added cameos of some favorite characters from the authors other stories!
For those of us that fight invisible battles (mental or physical) prepare to feel seen in ways I didn’t realize I needed. I finished this book tonight, my last night of being 35 as I prepare to embark on my first birthday without hearing my older sister yell my name at midnight with a call. (F Cancer) I honestly needed this book probably more than Alexandra knows, because not only did I need a reminder about the love I want/deserve but a reminder to give myself grace and self love, I may be bruised but I’m not broken nor a burden for the right person. This story will take you through all the feels, I have laughed, swooned, cried. Rating 100/10 Get your copy asap
I absolutely love this book! It had me all up in my emotions. I was sad one minute and smiling like a lune the next.
This book takes place in small town located in Michigan. Two people meet by chance, they are from opposites sides of the track, and both suffer from trauma. They become friends but fate has other plans for them. They are going to have to not only navagate family and a not so great ex-boyfriend, but their feelings as well.
Thank you Alexandra Grace for letting me read this early, I true appreciate it!
I absolutely loved this book. I loved Warner and Campbell, both separately and together. I did not want this story to end and truly hope we get to read more about them!
This story made me laugh and also made me cry. I couldn't seem to put it down for very long once i started reading. It was very easy to read, yet still had the drama and excitement to keep it all interesting. The twists were perfectly incorporated to leave you wanting more.
I love the way Alexandra Grace wrote about Warners medical condition as well. I found it very interesting and have never read anything quite like this! I also feel in love with Warner. After all he has been through, he is still the perfect mix of sweet, sentimental, and loving, yet can also protect if and when needed. Warner is the perfect man, and i would love the chance for more to see if he has any flaws, you know, besides the medical condition.
Please give us more! I do not want this to be the end! 10 out of 10 would recommend!
I really enjoy Alexandra Grace’s writing. She writes softness and gentleness so well, and that’s everything that Warner and Campbell are. It’s insta-lovey for sure. and usually I’m not a huge fan of that, but they took their time on things that mattered the most and really built up their relationship even though they moved fast. While they both have outside things and factors that affect them, they both continually are just there for each other , no matter what. I also liked the tie in to her other books at the end too.
This broke my heart. I was rooting for them the entire way through, but I was ready to reach in and give Warner a shake at times.
I adored Campbell, and how she knew what she wanted, and while she wasn’t actually in it, you can can get a picture of her relationship with her grandma (and it was precious). And the way she just accepts Warner, no matter what was downright gorgeous.
It wasn’t without its challenges (conniving mother, cheating ex), but this was an adorable and heartfelt story, and I absolutely loved it.
