This book was such a good read, and I really liked the chemistry between Maddy and Jett. Their relationship felt messy and real in the best way, and it honestly shows how sometimes you do end up falling for someone who reminds you of what you grew up around. I liked that the story showed how life and bad relationships can teach you lessons before you’re finally ready for the right person — and sometimes that person has been your best friend all along. No relationship is perfect, but I loved how this book showed that if you really want something, you have to fight for it and not give up when things get hard. And I always knew 8 was my favorite number for a reason. 😉

I was completely pulled in from the very beginning. I kept telling myself “just one more chapter,” only to look at the clock and realize it was somehow 3 AM.
The chemistry between the characters was absolutely addictive, but the MMC completely stole the show for me. He had that perfect mix of chaotic charm, vulnerability, confidence, emotional intensity, and rockstar magnetism that makes you understand exactly why everyone around him is drawn in.
The tension, banter, emotional moments, and longing were done so well that I felt completely immersed the entire time. One of those books that leaves you thinking about the characters long after you finish the final page.
I already know I’ll be buying the physical copy the second it’s released — and grabbing extra copies for my girlfriends because a book this addictive deserves to be shared.

What a wild and delicious ride. This story was the perfect blend of sweet, chaotic, and spicy, balancing laugh-out-loud moments with heartfelt emotion.
The found family was one of my favorite parts. They were messy, lovable, and so much fun that I never wanted to leave them. I also couldn’t help picturing the ultimate rock-and-roll royalty: the Osbournes, with the MMC giving major YUNGBLUD-if-he-were-Ozzy-reincarnated energy, which made the entire reading experience even more entertaining.
If you love rockstar romances packed with heart, humor, chaos, and plenty of heat, this one absolutely delivers.

I ended up DNFing around 46%. The kink warnings were accurate, and it is definitely a YA read. The book needed another round of editing, I caught several errors.
All of the internal dialogue/overuse of exclamation marks made it feel more like fan fiction than an actual book.
I wanted to push through because I loved the Osbournes growing up and the family absolutely gives Osbournes vibes. But I just couldn’t deal with the writing.

It’s sugar and spice and everything nice
I absolutely looked this story. It was so sweet, and yet spicy as hell. I couldn’t get enough of the crazy, wild, Jett and Baby, was so good too.
Every side character was also written very very well.
If I wasn’t already married to the greatest guy I’d be begging the two of them to set me up, because their match making powers together work well. I’d be excited to know more about the other couples too.
10/10 would recommend if you like spice!

Not only that but she is also a celebrity and popular actress of a tv series where she is a princess. However, that princess she plays is not so nice and not so good as sweet Maddy. The classic good girl, and perfect sweetheart who had her Prince Charming.... well that was until Prince Charming broke her heart.
All she wanted was a simple rebound and recover... instead she got Jett Raven... a rock star that idolizes her father and is seen like one of the family. Jett has always been in Maddy's life but she never thought twice of him as anymore then family... anymore then a friend until one day things change.
Jett has been in love with Maddy since he first laid eyes on her. As the two explore a relationship they discover they are a pair that were meant to be together. Despite his playboy past, Jett wants Maddy and only Maddy. Maddy soon finds herself easily falling for Jett and the pair become inseparable. Jett visits her on set, Maddy goes on tour with him.
At first Maddy's family is against her being with Jet but Jet sways them and leaves them rooting for the couple. Once they have the approval from the family, Maddy finds herself willing to explore all the kinks and sinful desires she never thought she would be willing to experience. Jett awakens in Maddy a passion and desire beyond anything she could ever imagine.
It isn't all perfection though. A jealous drummer nearly ruins their relationship and a leaked video destroys Maddy's career and ruins her friendship with her best friend. Thankfully this one ends with a Happy Ever After and I couldn't be more in favor of Jett and Maddy. The pair are two that you want to see make it. I absolutely loved Rock 'N Royalty.
This was one of those books I found myself recommending before I had even finished reading it. Any chance I had to pick it up, I did, and the only thing slowing me down was the fact that I was traveling while reading it.
Jett and Baby had me hooked so early on. Their chemistry was there from the start, and even though some of the bigger relationship moments came later, the tension and heat were present through so much of the book. It never felt slow to me because I was already all in on them.

This was one of those books I found myself recommending before I had even finished reading it. Any chance I had to pick it up, I did, and the only thing slowing me down was the fact that I was traveling while reading it.

I really enjoyed this book. It didn’t completely rock my world or become an all-time favorite, but it was a genuinely fun read with great chemistry, a solid storyline, and characters I couldn’t help rooting for.
The vibe gave me major daughter of Ozzy Osbourne meets YUNGBLUD energy, and it absolutely delivered on that rockstar aesthetic. The relationship wasn’t insta-love either—it had room to breathe, making every emotional and spicy moment hit that much harder.
Jett was easily my favorite part of the book. Tall, tattooed, wears eyeliner, a rockstar… and a soft Dom? Yes, please. What really sold me, though, was that he didn’t want to control Mads—he wanted to take care of her. He wanted to carry the weight so she could simply enjoy the ride. Men… please take notes.
Mads had fantastic character growth. She spent much of the story fighting who she thought she was supposed to be before finally embracing who she truly wanted to become. Watching her choose herself, build her own path, and fully own her confidence was incredibly satisfying.
Their chemistry was fire, and the spicy scenes absolutely delivered. Every intimate moment felt earned because the relationship had been built instead of rushed.
I reserved that fifth star only because this one didn’t completely shatter me emotionally, but that’s a very high bar. If you’re looking for a rockstar romance with incredible chemistry, a protective soft Dom MMC, and a heroine who comes into her own, I absolutely recommend giving Rock N Royalty a read.

I really enjoyed that the story spans eight years, allowing them both to grow into adulthood. By the time they reconnect, they’ve each lived full lives, and Maddy—affectionately known as “Baby” by everyone who loves her—has even experienced heartbreak.
Jett has built a wonderful relationship with Baby’s family over the years, especially with her father. They’ve collaborated on music together, and he even calls her parents Mum and Dad. He never imagined he’d have to fight the very people who had become like family to be with the woman he loves, but I loved that he was completely committed and all in.
Jett and Baby shared a kinky, passionate relationship, but for me, her parents stole the show. They were an unconventional bunch, but their love and devotion to one another was heartwarming. They always looked out for each other, and I found their family dynamic just as enjoyable as the romance.

DNF 49% …
To be fair, the “trigger warning / kink menu” was honest in that it was absolutely written in a YA format/dialogue etc… however the characters were more teenage in age than early adulthood.
It was painful to read which hurts to write because I know how much effort, time and soul goes into writing a book but I just couldn’t continue it. I considered not leaving a review as it’s negative, but that’s not who I am either.
If you’re after two adult FMCs who have no background information, developing relationship or chemistry, and absolutely no character growth and a spice I can only describe as truly cringeworthy, then this book is for you.
The immaturity of the characters concerns me considering the kinks explored and “described”.
Countless famous name drops, and about a million other references that were tacky.
Poorly written, even with a YA warning.
The grammar, I swear, if I had to put up with one more immature stupid inner thought or exclamation mark… I was going to toss my kindle like a boomerang and hope it never came back.

This has a lot of praise and good girl which I love and is totally my thing. It also explores a little BDSM and has a fun predator/prey scene.

They really made Jett work for their permission to date their daughter and ensured he delivered on every promise.

This book wasn’t for me but it is definitely going to be for a lot of people out there. The story in this would’ve been good if it were a little more believable to me. The way the family treated and talked to Maddy gave me the ick so bad I almost couldn’t finish this book. The romance was too fast paced for me to really connect with Maddy and Jett as a couple. I know that this is a friend to lovers romance and they’ve known each other forever but it was so insta-lovey and zero to hundred for the romance that it didn’t feel real to me or that they had anything more than actual lust between them. I did enjoy some of the side characters but for the most part they all just felt over the top even for being celebrities and specifically a rockstar family.

I’m always looking for a good rockstar romance and this was definitely that. Jett (our MMC) was Yungblud in a book and seeing as how he’s one of my favorite artists, I was totally here for it. Jett and Maddy’s dad very much gave Yungblud and Ozzy (RIP) vibes to me. I loved Jett and Maddy’s banter. How her family was treating her like a child instead of a 25 year old grown adult who can make her own decisions about who she is with wasn’t really for me. It seemed a bit much. Rock n Royalty is a story about Maddy and Jett and follows their growth as individuals and as a couple. The telling of their story/relationship is messy, a bit chaotic and realistic to what relationships look like for those in their 20s which was also nice to see since i am of a similar age to the characters. The spice was good, I will say that some of the kinks may not be everyone's thing so I do recommend checking those out before getting into the book.
However I thoroughly enjoyed it and their relationship while not perfect but what relationship is. They worked hard for it which is what matters.

Wow the chemistry between these two - Maddy and Jett was unbelievable!!
The storyline is about Maddy who is a famous actress and the daughter of a music legend. Jett is a famous singer who meet each other at a function and from there, the storyline really begins!! Jett has always loved Maddy, she just didn't know that!
Because they have grown up in a similar way, the chaos begins and it doesn't stop. I felt like I was part of this relationship as the words just keep clutching my heart.
If I could give this book 10 stars, I would have. A great first read by Lex and it won't be my last!

I was giggling and kicking my feet throughout the story. I loved the rockstar aspect and that the story progressed naturally. I liked how it wasn't insta-love and that we got to see their relationship grow, along with their individual development. I was drawn and addicted right from the start. Jett had me laughing from the very beginning and Maddy's strength and independence had me falling in love with her. Their banter, the tension and the emotions we very well written that I couldn't put it down. I got a lot of Ozzy and Sharon vibes throughout the story and that just made my heart happy. I will be thinking about this book for months to come.

Maddie and Jett. She looks like Americas sweetheart, but she’s anything but. And stew very much attracted to the bad boy rockstar Jett. Her problem? How does she navigate that when he’s practically family? 😈 I loved the edge to this story. It gave those rockstar vibes in the crazy and chaotic ways. And Maddie, oh, she’s a naughty one. This girl likes her kink and I was all in for it. I’ll just say, she doesn’t disappoint. When her and Jett finally hooked up 🎇🥵🔥😈🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ they were fire!
I devoured this book. It was a “have to finish because I’m not doing anything else until I do” kind of book. It was amazing. It checked my list perfectly. I can’t wait to read more from Lex.
