Rate this book
Kelsey Aimes grew up in the small town of Gainesville, Florida. She didn’t know what she was destined to become. Driven to the big city of New York City, after a harrowing betrayal by her best friend, Kelsey encounters HRH Prince Stephen Lyons. It was no chance meeting between Kelsey and HRH. Now she is to discover if they are truly reunited by fate .
The rollercoaster ride isn’t over in this second to the last installment of Gator Girl.
Stephen is slipping away after Kelsey has been shot and he hits rock bottom. He and Kelsey’s possibility at a promised fairytale ending has taken a turn towards a love triangle with a man that has no ties, or loyalty to Stephen to stay away from Kelsey.
Chase Bennett has his own money and his own long line of Big Texas oil pedigree. He needs nothing of his HRH, except for Kelsey and he is playing for keeps after her heart.
It is the ultimate competition for Kelsey’s heart and body. Who will win?
Kelsey has to make a choice. She is a woman scorned, feeling used and abused by them both. She finally takes stock of her life and decides to not sit idly by and have her heart torn apart. She takes control of her destiny and takes the man that she desires and makes him obedient her command.
How does it all end? You think you know, but there is always a twist. Then there is one more to go, but this one will take you there… Gator Girl 6 – The Reason

I was born in Spain and grew up mostly in Europe. My father was in the USAF, which I just love. He was a broadcast journalist in the USAF!

I went to the University of Florida- Go Gators! Hence my book GATOR GIRLS (GO AND GET AT AMAZON BOOKS)

I work as a Financial Analyst and write on the side, but I like to believe it is the other way around because I am always writing stories in my head all day long.

I love my life and think that each day I am blessed more and more.

I do have inner demons that I unleash inside of my books.

I want to live a Norman Rockefeller type of life in Mayberry and watch re-runs of Donna Reed and I Love Lucy all day.

I love working because it gives me creativity and balance.

Finance is one of the most difficult jobs in the world because you constantly have to tell people bad news about money and basically nobody wants to hear bad news when it comes to money. They only want money to rain from the sky daily and the funnel to never turn off.

I work extremely hard and not for the money. I play extremely hard and that is why I work hard.

I LOVE DISNEY WORLD! It is absolutely my favorite place to be... I would live there if I could afford it and I pray that one day can afford it because I am moving in and I will never leave.

3 stars...((hangs head in shame))

I despise this H. He is repulsive. The very idea that he deserves any kind of chance with the h after any number of OW stunts he has pulled is beyond even the realm of fiction.

Just
Fucking
Sayin’

However, once you give into the insanity of our ho of an H, he must literally fuck 100+ women while in pursuit of our a virgin-doormat h, and read this series with zero fucks to give for either H/h, it becomes wholly absorbing. Almost addicting. I’m lying, it’s like fucking heroin...without the e. It’s shit writing but I’m on holiday so I have the time to devote to this 8 book ludicrous opus of a love story.

Do I recommend it?
ABSOLUTELY FUCKING NOT.
UNEQUIVOCALLY NO.
NEVER.

Will I read it again?
Quite possibly.

It is never a good thing to greet your kids as they are waking for the day and realizing that you've yet to make it to bed. Well, that was my morning as cartoons were able to capture my attention where the damn tweeting morning birds and rising sun could not. It is 100% the fault of this book and its author. It grabbed me by my metaphorical balls and gave them a yank each time I had the audacity to set it aside to get about me day. My "Smack Kelsey Up-side Her Head And Cunt Punch Her" tally was ridiculously high for this book. Think grains of rice in a rice patty high. The switch to Stephen's perspective midway through made me so ridiculously happy to finally be getting some insider info, that I decided banding his balls might be a tad extreme. But all those loose, lonely threads of the story are slowing coming together into that ridiculously hideous, yet oddly appealing sweater grandma just decided you had to have despite it being high summer. It might not be all that useful just yet, but it's time is just around the bend.

Would I recommend this book? You betcha... With with caveat of reading the whole series. You need all the squicky details and a front row seat to all of Kelsey's, quite frankly, fuckin' nuts life choices. While I was on the fence after the first book and then wanting to leave 85% of the characters hobbled in a den of rabid squirrels (those spastic bastards have sharp nails and poor manners) in subsequent books, I can finally crawl out of my corner, fold my blanket up and start clambering for the final book! Please, please, please, oh please!?

The book starts with a captive Kelsey bless her heart her emotions are up and down I love that she explains them so very well!! The constant Kate reminder is well wrote into mind!! Kelsey's character who is slowly piecing together that she's not crazy and can think for herself go Kelsey go.
I adore when her dad said to her "But this hurt that you feel won’t go away with my approval, you need to speak to Stephen and uncover why he hurt you.”

I adore the song lyrics Kari uses to split the chapters up
It adds a deeper dimension to the read and acts as an emotional indicator for Kelsey and Stevens POV.

As the chapters continue, this book has me wanting to shout scream and lift Kelsey up and drop her on an island somewhere!! She's exercising her independence but she's not thinking at all for herself she's allowing others to convince her by grandiose gestures. The middle of this book has me in complete tears I feel the pain as Kelsey strums and sings "Adeles Turning Tables" at the piano and my heart bleeds a little for her!! Stevens point of view is lovely his thoughts give me more understanding about why he has left Kelsey, he loves her so much that he lets her go. He really is a prince but is he her prince. As the story unfolds I wanna chuck my kindle at the wall And scream Kelsey stop but it's too late!!! The chapters go on to unfold Stevens story, why he's a player and what part he plays in Kelsey's family. Jheeze what an eye opener, again I want to throw my phone the pity fullness of his character makes me feel so sorry for him, trapped within the lies and deceit he has built for himself poor prince!! I now understand that he had much more in common with Kelsey, he is very forgiving and is often being taken advantage of karma is a bitch as we see the story continue from Stevens point of view Kelsey continuing to blow hot and cold!! She's still overmuch in love with him at this point but denying it by marrying someone else!! I gotta say that Steven makes one hell of a hero but managed to continuously break Kelsey I really wish he would tell her the truth but loyalty and obligation as a protector has him bound tight. He loves Kelsey but can't be honest with her which breaks her heart again!! This storyline is explosive Kari takes the reader on an epic journey, just as you think Steven and Kelsey are gonna make it theres a fork in the road. Lots of twists and turns that keeps the readers on the edge of their seats for this storyline, romance betrayal and sabotage. I would have Steven be my protector anyday.

I loved and hated this series in equal measure. It got me hooked from the very beginning. I love all of the characters in the book, even the ones I despised because they were all so human. They each had flaws and made so many mistakes. Stephen and Kelsey both frustrated me to no end with the way that they hurt each other repeatedly. There were so many times that I wanted to just stop reading in frustration, but I picked it back up every time because I had to see if they got their fairytale ending. I love that all of the other characters were so much a part of the storyline as well. My only complaint is that the series was a little drawn out and the twist at the end almost seems rushed to be explained. The editing is not great but easy to overlook with such an engrossing story.

Not sure

This story just keeps going on and on.... 800 plus pages. Actually skipped a few pages as this back and forth dialogue on virginity was getting old quick and on top of that, it just seems everyone is manipulative and lies. Just like a Peyton Place story. The ending to this segment was excellent but not this many pages worth.

Finally!!!!!

I don't know if this truly is a 4 or 5 star DRAMA, but it's by far the BEST of the series. I really loved every single page. I was so close to just being done with the story completely. I'm glad to have given Kari Nelson my time. On to the next one.
