Shadowed flames dance on a winter's breeze, drawing Kateraina into the world of the Dreamers. Her fate rests in the hands of the one who Guards her. Dinan NightWalker must show her the strength of the darkness she holds. Wrapped in his arms, she must stand firm against the nightmares she endures.
Shadowed secrets lie buried in a long forgotten shrine. Sweet winds whisper twisted truths, turning friend into foe. Searching for answers will test the bounds of their loyalty. Will betrayal tear them apart, or will a fate cloaked in prophecy guide them through their Future of Flames?
I'm a 30 year old SAHM to three girls and am married to the most amazing man. I grew up in a small farming community in northern Alberta before moving to the "big city" at 20. I write for the same reason I breathe, because it is necessary for my survival. I've been writing since childhood and actively keeping what I write since I was twelve. I love looking back and seeing who I was then reflected in the words I wrote. You can still see who I am now in the words I write today.
In this third installment Raina is building more of her elements, she is still being betrayed, and still finding family. I don't want to give to much away, but her great grand father has given her a new task. What would would you do if you could hold the elements inside of you and use them for good? Would you be brave enough to follow a set path of destiny to full fill a prophecy? These are things Raina has to do in this series, and and tale is told in a way that you can believe in the magic. I am really enjoying this series and hope you do too.
Kateraina and Dinan continue their quest to find the Dreamers. With herself and her friends having to continually prove themselves and with betrayal and deceit never far away Raina finds herself facing her worst nightmare. As this series continues we see Kateraina grow in confidence and ability but I don't think even she is aware of just what she is capable of yet ! This unique series makes for an enjoyable read that i'd gladly recommend.
Raina; The True Queen and Dinan; her Guardian continue on their journey to wake the long sleeping Dreamers. Followed along by their trusted friends Bridget and Joshua they navigate new waters and new characters trying to figure out who is friend and who is foe. Betrayal ever present threatens to tear them apart but also gives them a chance to further their bond with each other. The road will be hard will Raina and Dinan accomplish what they set out to do? You'll have to read to find out!
When I write my reviews for this series I struggle with what details to give and which to leave to surprise. I absolutely love this series and have from the beginning. Raina is such a strong female heroine that I adore and her Guardian and husband Dinan, whose strength for Raina always makes me smile. The secondary characters warm my heart and the introduction of new characters keeps me on my toes. As per usual, Lisa leaves you wanting more and I cannot wait until the next installment of the series.
Wildfire is just as amazing as The Spark and The Ember. This is the third volume in Author Lisa Messier's Future Of Flames series, while it is a continued story this book really is awesome! Our little Queen Kateraina is learning more about her past, her present and her future, she is learning how to control her powers and learning that she is more then she ever thought she was, while growing into who she is her and Dinan are growing together as both a couple and into who they both are becoming. You won't just fall in love with the characters but the story will enchant you from volume one and on... Five Stars!!!! I fully recommend this book!
