I just knew that I had to read this book because Oliver was such an interesting character. When I dove into this book, I just couldn’t put this book down. It studied me in from the moment we meet Oliver.
I really loved how they met after not seeing each other for a hot minute and what a surprise that one was. After Oliver decides to meet a gentleman on a dating app, he comes face to face with Logan.
Oliver and Logan were really a fun time. Logan used to be with Oliver’s mom and then he disappeared, which truly broke Oliver to the core. When we find out why he left, I don’t think I could hate a parent as much as I did to his mom because what she did was so selfish.
I really loved how we saw the dynamic of them being such a huge age gap. I really liked seeing them going shopping and even out to eat because people would just stare at them and not in the nicest way. Logan was so standoffish because of it but I was so happy he finally gave in and decided he was going anywhere
As usual, Ally does spice so well and it’s only a matter of time that Oliver finally gets to share his firsts with Logan.
And the found family from his roommates was done so well. Also, I loved how his brother and his partner show up a few times.
And I just know there is going to be another book and if not, there needs to be from that teaser at the end!

I just knew that I had to read this book because Oliver was such an interesting character. When I dove into this book, I just couldn’t put this book down. It studied me in from the moment we meet Oliver.

Sweet, spicy, swoon! I’m always sold when it’s a daddy kink 🙂↔️ had a fun lil time getting know to more of Oliver and finally getting to meet stepdaddy!
I’m also very interested to see what’s going on with some certain roommates of Ollies 👀 can’t wait to see what Ally has up her sleeve next!

Got the ARC email and downloaded this baby in less than a minute!
Right away I fell in love with Oliver and his sweet personality. He is a damage soul who just needs to be loved and cared for. The pining and longing he has for Logan is oh so good! Perfect book to satisfy your daddy kink!

Ally Avery has done it again! 5⭐️
I absolutely LOVED book 1 in this series Bruised so I couldn’t wait to read sweet Oliver’s story. Loved that we got to see some of Lane and Mason in this as well.
Logan walked out of Oliver’s life at age 13, but Oliver hasn’t stopped thinking about him since. A random encounter on a dating app brings them back into each other lives. This story does a good job of transitioning from dad to Daddy. They both need each other in the same way. Oliver needs love and someone to take care of him, and while Logan did that before I liked seeing how it changed once the relationship started.
Once Logan let Oliver have a voice and say in what he wanted their relationship to be, it was so sweet and loving. And the spice was hot 🥵. Oliver is a pro at hands free finishing lol. Logan took such good care of Oliver and would never hurt him.
In a world that may not approve of their age gap/Daddy relationship they made it work and I loved that they both got the HEA they deserved.
This book had everything I love. Ally Avery is a must read author for me and I can’t wait to see what is next 😈

I enjoyed every minute of this book. It was delicious!
Oliver is such a sweet character, carrying the sadness of being abandoned by Logan, his former stepfather, when he was thirteen. Logan had been his whole world, so losing him left a huge wound that Oliver never really managed to move past. On top of that, Oliver has spent all these years carrying a massive crush on Logan, making it even harder for him to let go of the past or find someone new. Even after all this time, Logan is still constantly on his mind.
Determined to finally move on, Oliver decides he needs to stop living in the shadow of his former stepfather and tries to put his feelings behind him. But his plan takes an unexpected turn when he meets a mysterious man on a hook up app and discovers that this man is Logan himself, the man who has haunted his thoughts for years, still as handsome as ever.
Their reunion is shocking for both of them, but eventually Oliver gets to ask the questions he has been holding onto for years, even though Logan's answers leave him with even more complicated feelings. Despite all the hurt and unanswered questions, it's obvious that they have both missed each other terribly, and they begin trying to reconnect.
While Logan initially wants to repair their bond as stepfather and stepson, and make up for the years they lost, Oliver is dealing with feelings that are far more complicated and wrong. And these complicated and wrong feelings start to grow on Logan as well.

I really loved how well Oliver and Logan complement each other. Oliver desperately want a Daddy. He wants the care, affection, and reassurance he has been missing and that Logan gives so well. While Logan has spent years wanting a boy to call his, soomeone he could take care of and cherish.
Logan can't seem to resist his instinct to make up for the lost years, hold onto Oliver, and give him the affection he has been craving, in all the twisted ways he crave, even as guilt and doubt make him question his choices.
The book is short, and the plot mainly revolves around them finding each other again, reconnecting, and navigating all the complicated feelings surrounding their reunion and new feelings for each other. I loved both characters so much, they are incredibly sweet, vulnerable, and easy to get attached to.
The romance is tender and full of tension, and I loved the emotional push and pull throughout the story. I was so excited for this book, and it absolutely didn't disappoint. It gave me the forbidden, spicy, emotional and complicated love story I was hoping for and had me hooked from beginning to end.
Definitely recommend it!

This is the first book I have read from this author, but the second in the series. I enjoyed it and will be going back to read the first book, Bruised. Oliver is so sweet, but he is still dealing with hurt from the past and his growing attraction for his former stepdad. I love how Oliver pushes Logan and how cheeky and needy he can be. Logan, understandably has his reservations and hangups about his attraction for Oliver. He's a very sweet Daddy and will do anything to protect Oliver and keep him safe, but it does take him a majority of the book to realize he should stop fighting the inevitable. These two are so cute together and I think you will love their story if you enjoy sweet daddy/boy dynamics (no bratting), caretaking, quality time, first times, overcoming the weight of societal expectations, a very good boy and plenty of praise.

Okay well 😄
This was a bit less smut than book one, I’d put it around 80% 🤭
And this was probably the most daddy-kink-heavy book I’ve read. Like, the words “daddy” and “good daddy’s boy” were used a truly ridiculous number of times 🙈
Mind your triggers though, because it’s not just a book with daddy kink, Logan and Oliver have a complicated relationship, and it was hard to completely ignore the fact that Oliver actually called and thought of Logan as his “dad” when he was a kid.
I am not here to judge though, I knew what I was going into and I don’t usually have problems with taboo topics, it just made me a bit itchy 🙃
That said, just as I expected, I loved this book more than the first one. It was understandably much more emotional from the beginning, there was a bit more of an actual plot overall, and I absolutely loved the twins 🖤
I also really liked that things with Mason and the mother weren’t just magically easy. I was genuinely interested in seeing how that whole situation would play out, and I think it was handled really well. Considering how complicated the circumstances were, there was a believable amount of doubt, conflict, and disapproval before everything eventually fell into place.
But let’s talk about important things - the spice!!! 🥵
The tension, the pull, the chemistry - it was all perfect 🤌 And considering just HOW MUCH of it was packed into those 240 pages, it stayed delicious throughout. I properly enjoyed it, thank you very much.
Oliver’s innocence and purity added so much beautiful desperation and need that reminded me of omegas in heat 🤭 And I mean it in a best possible way, because we all love our little omegas ❤🔥
I am very thankful for this ARC, it was a great journey and I had so much fun!
And please pleeeease let the next one be about the twins 🙌

Now six years later when hes on the apps looking for a Daddy to lose his v!rginity to the last person he expects to show up to is Logan his estranged step dad.

just when i thought nothing could top “bruised,” ally said just you wait. this book did not disappoint 😮💨
when i first got sent this book i didn’t know how the transition from actual “dad” figure to “daddy” figure was going to play out, but ally did a really good job showing how each character went through their guilt, hurt, and love for one another to get to that daddy/good boy stage.
oliver is such a precious character! i wanted to give him the biggest hug 🥺 he carried an immense sadness over logan leaving his life when he was 13 years old and he just happens upon logan years later. he starts seeing his love for logan in a different way, while also being scared he's going to be left behind again.
logan... oh logan. you can't help being upset with oliver for logan leaving when he was in his early teens, but you can feel the regret of leaving when they meet up again. logan goes through some deep feelings when oliver is brought back into his life. he initially wanted to reconnect with oliver as his stepfather, but soon finds himself fighting against wanting a completely different relationship.

when i first got sent this book i didn’t know how the transition from actual “dad” figure to “daddy” figure was going to play out, but ally did a really good job showing how each character went through their guilt, hurt, and love for one another to get to that daddy/good boy stage.
oliver is such a precious character! i wanted to give him the biggest hug 🥺 he carried an immense sadness over logan leaving his life when he was 13 years old and he just happens upon logan years later. he starts seeing his love for logan in a different way, while also being scared he's going to be left behind again.
logan... oh logan. you can't help being upset with oliver for logan leaving when he was in his early teens, but you can feel the regret of leaving when they meet up again. logan goes through some deep feelings when oliver is brought back into his life. he initially wanted to reconnect with oliver as his stepfather, but soon finds himself fighting against wanting a completely different relationship.
this was a fast read for me, but none the less, filling!

Since the moment i read BRUISED (another 5⭐️) I knew that I wanted Ollie´s book SO BAD. And what I gor when I received the ARC? I RECEIVED SO MUCH MORE THAN I COULD EVER HOPE.
This book has a little of taboo? Of course but you see...Ally has this thing whith word that makes you fall in love even when you know from outside is not right. And I appreciate very much this talent because WDYM I WAS CRYING in the name of two lovesick souls that just wanted to loved.
The storyline is simple and fast which I also appreciate so much, everything goes smooth and the only thing that you want is finish chapter after chapter.
Now, the nature of the relationship between Logan and Ollie is a heavy one but it becomes simple because they just simply let go.

I JUST WANTED MORE OKAY?
Not going to lie, it hurts rating this. Ruined was one of my most anticipated reads and it did not really live up to my expectations.
I will say this: I flew through this book, something that doesn't happen often anymore. The writing was very easy to sink into, the story kept moving, and I genuinely wanted to keep reading. It was the kind of book where I could just pick it up and disappear into it for a while, and I never felt like I had to force myself through it.

Ollie and Logan were fun characters to read and they had great chemistry. I had high expectations after thoroughly enjoying Bruised (loved seeing Mason and Lane again, the sweetest little love bugs!) and I am happy to report that this book was a slam dunk. High spice, strong daddy k!nk, filthy dirty talk, strict roles, and a large age gap were just what I was looking for!
Logan was the softest, gentlest man who truly only wanted Ollie to be happy, and even though he struggled a lot with his own shame and guilt, he still always took care of his boy. Oliver and Logan’s story is complicated in ALL the ways, but that’s what kept me turning the pages. There’s so much history, hurt, longing, unresolved feelings between them, and watching all of that collide made this in a good way of intense. Oliver trying to figure himself out while carrying years of abandonment and feelings he doesn’t know what to do with, while Logan is carrying his own guilt and regrets. Their past makes everything between them feel heavier.

I was curious about Logan and Oliver ever since we got a slight hint in Bruised, and the moment it was confirmed they were next I jumped to the opportunity to read it.
Both Logan and Oliver have spent years apart, and while we know how Ollie felt and how much he struggled during that time, I was missing a bit of background from Logan. It’s six years, you can’t just go through nothing for six years.
I liked the way they communicated, how much of their relationship was based on their trust and love for each other. And while the past relationship kind of served as a reminder of how important they were to each other, their romantic one didn’t feel weird or parental. It was a daddy kink that stayed within the normal lines. I appreciated the no age play in this instance, and the reservations that were raised weren’t dumb, it added a layer of reality that made their relationship feel more lasting.
I love how this series is shaping up and I hope Nico is next with that “supervisor” of his…and can’t forget about Hunter or Luca. Hopefully that means at least two or three more books, because I can’t get enough!

I volunteered to be an ARC reader for this series and was chosen. I didn’t know anything about the author or the series before offering to do so. Once chosen, I read the first book in the series, Bruised, and LOVED it! Lane was precious and I loved Mason and his cockiness. This left me wanting to know more about Oliver & his HEA.
This book did not disappoint.
Oliver was so sweet and precious. I felt myself wanting to comfort him the whole time. Logan was phenomenal! Logan did, however, tick me off at times with all the guilt (I know, who could blame him considering their history?!).
The struggles felt real. I felt like I was transplanted into the story and observing things. The spice was good. The build up was good. I just loved it all! I did wonder how they would bridge the gap and tell Oliver’s mom & Mason but even that was handled good.
I wish we had more info on the elusive roommate, Hunter. Potential future MC? Let’s hope! Also I need a book on Nico and Luca because they almost stole the show and they weren’t even in the book very often. 10/10 I definitely recommend!

Ok, so like, here's the thing. I LOVE age gap (in books, IRL my opinion is much more nuanced) and stepdad/stepson or stepbrothers any of the steps really 😂 (again much more nuanced IRL lol). Buuuut it felt like the transition from parental figure to NOT parental figure was very blurred. And I do not enjoy that. Give me a romance where the stepson is an adult and never thought of stepdad as a dad any day of the week. This felt much more taboo than I was prepared for.
It was a quick read though. It kept my interest which has been hard to do this week. I think the push and pull would have been great if it hadn't been in the context of "this is someone I thought of as my dad" and instead was something like "this is someone my mom used to date" 😅. Thank you Ally for the ARC ❤️🔥 OMG this was everything I wanted and more! I absolutely devoured it, barely came up for air since starting it earlier today (yay for days off). I had to go out for lunch and while it was so nice seeing my friend I couldn't wait to be back home finishing Ruined lmao. I'm so glad we got Oliver and Logan's story after Bruised, and my my what a story it was. The push and pull, the forbidden aspect, the love, the chemistry... chef's kiss. I found it all quite realistic too which was refreshing in this kind of dynamic, both the physical side (like Oliver needing a lot of prep) and the taboo-adjacent side (like Logan not immediately giving in). I loved seeing Lane and Mason again as well, my babies. Also..........am I wrong (pun intended) for wanting the twins to have their own book........together............

The dynamics between Logan and Ollie were pretty good. I love the softness that Logan shows Oliver. Itvwas a good storyline. I would have like a little more plot twist with it but it was still good.

This story was so sweet!!!
Oliver and Logan were adorable together, and my heart went out to them both for their difficult journey to a happily ever after. Oliver is still feeling so hurt and unsure after all this time, and Logan is trying so desperately to hold back and fight the inevitable. I also loved Oliver's blooming friendship with his housemates. I was intrigued by the twins who I very much hope will appear in another book as I would love to find out more about them.
Ruined is the second book in the Wreck and Wrong series. I feel it's really worth reading book 1 first although it can be read as a standalone.
I would recommend this book to readers who enjoy MM forbidden romances with hurt/comfort, cute caretaking and a whole lot of sweetness.

This was a fun read with touching moments woven in. Oliver and Logan were an interesting pairing and I liked that they went through challenges when it came to their relationship. They had to deal with the age gap and outsiders perceptions amongst other things and it made their experience feel realistic. I appreciated that Logan slowed down for Oliver when it came to intimacy and allowed his experience and comfort to set the pace. Their progressive relationship development was appreciated as well considering the obstacles they needed to work through. The twins were fun and I’d love to see more of them! I’m curious about what’s next!

Devoured this book in a single day. It sucked me right in. I would have liked more grovelling on Logan's part, but my slow-burn loving ass knows that's not super realistic for a book this length. The first book in the Wrecked & Wrong series was a favourite, and this one was just as good! I liked that we got to see more of Lane & Mason as side characters, and I liked the twins. Fave side character award went to Mason because his protectiveness was necessary and understandable.

The absolute CHOKEHOLD this book had me in 🥵😩
I loved every second of it. I adore sweet sweet Oliver, oh my god 😭 he’s so precious & he’s been so hurt by Logan in the past, all he wants now is to be loved and taken care of in the way that he needs. & let me tell you, Logan gives him what he needs 🤭😍 I was absolutely swooning throughout most of this book, and when I wasn’t I was tearing up 🥹 Logan’s need to just take care of his boy was so sweet & it hurt my heart knowing how much he battled with his guilt and what others might think 😭
