This is a unique travel guide, told from the perspectives of local Panamanians. It contains fantastic details about the history, as well as insights to the best restaurants, beaches, and parks. It's wonderful info, preparing the traveller on what to expect and enthralling the reader with photos and background about Panama and its beautiful, diverse culture. I learned so much about the culture, which I loved as much as the guiding details about where to visit. I enjoyed it so much, and I'm ready to plan a vacation now!!!

Some useful advice about the city and its pros and cons, hints where to go and why and general description of the country, food and culture. It is a bit short and sketchy, though. I've seen better guides from By Locals.

Short and interesting read

This a book that availed you a quick overview of Panama and it's people interesting and easy read. A good source for travel.
