Lilith has survived for centuries by marrying men for their money and staging their untimely deaths before they wise up to her immortality, disappearing with their riches each time.

Rinse and repeat.

While on a date with yet another unremarkable man she intends to lure into her well-rehearsed scheme, Lilith sneaks away for a breather and meets George—a witch she shares an instant, magnetic connection with. The limerence isn’t one-sided, and once George discovers Lilith is a half-demon with powers, he offers to take her to a realm where she can find others like herself and hopefully stop running once and for all.

Unfortunately for the lovestruck pair, the realm in question is Hell’s Hollow—a small town created by Lucifer to protect his family, where outsiders aren’t welcome. But with the assistance of another paranormal, they may stand a chance.

Enter Avarie—the demon barista in the quaint town who befriended George a year earlier. When George left Hell’s Hollow, Avarie thought it’d be the last time he’d see the witch he believed could be his mate. George appearing with Lilith certainly complicates matters, and fate seems to have more in store for them than catching up over coffee and a white chocolate macadamia nut cookie.

Finding Lilith’s family means risking Lucifer’s wrath and the possibility that Lilith and George could be banished for eternity. As the destined trio searches for answers in Hell’s Hollow, they’ll discover that in a hidden town full of paranormal creatures and magic, fate has a habit of choosing your family for you.

Lilith is book 5 in the Hell's Hollow shared universe novella series. It may be read as a standalone, but for the best reading experience, it's recommended to be enjoyed with the other stories.

Oh my! This was such a fun, short read! I absolutely loved all the characters, especially the pleasure demon Avarie. I totally felt bad for Lilith and dealing with not knowing anything about her family, or really even herself. I loved how the story ended. I really loved how she went from having no one to having way more than she ever expected, in more ways than one. In true Irene fashion, it was lacking in spice either. Definitely worth the read for me!

“You should fuck me in this dusty castle.”

This was a super quick read, and a lot of fun.

I honestly wish this was a full length novel because I loved Lilith, Geo and Avarie so much and I need more of them.

I really enjoyed the whole concept of this story. The whole supernatural small town was a lot of fun, and I loved seeing the little hat tip to our favorite Scotsman.
