★★★★! Sexy Beast (stand-alone). With a history of family feuding BJ & Layla enjoy a forbidden & secret fuck-fest!

“This is the biggest, angriest cock I have ever seen in my life.”

Books in Gypsy Heroes series are stand-alones, but most enjoyed if read in order:
Book 1: Sexy Beast
Book 2: Wounded Beast
Book 3: Beautiful Beast

Sexy Beast (stand-alone, book 1) is interior designer Layla Eden, aka Princess aka Bear (sister of Jake Eden in the Eden trilogy) and gangster, club owner and underground fighter Billy Joe Pilkington, BJ’s story.

After hundreds of years of feuding the Eden’s and Pilkington’s recently made peace, but that should be of no concern as BJ and Layla have hated each other since childhood.

That is until one fateful night at a party where BJ catches Layla in a precarious situation prompting a sexually charged finish. That is the starting point of their clandestine hate-lust no-questions-asked fuck-fest to get each other out of their systems.

Story goes on to follow them in their affair and aftermath with them facing the biggest fight of their lives. Telling Layla’s family proves to only one of many hurdles facing Layla when she sets out to tame BJ, her sexy beast.

“Get ready to have your pussy in my mouth for a very long time.”

photo sb H BS by sb_zpseoz19pxy.gif

There are many layers to Billy Joe Pilkington, BJ. Once you get past the manwhore fighter I suspect he’ll wrap himself around your heart. Seven words to describe BJ: Secretive, jaded, broken, ruthless, loyal, determined and noble.

photo sb he BS by sb_zpsn1y7zfeb.gif

At times I felt disconnected from Layla Eden, aka Princess aka Bear, but when she was able to explain I had no doubt the she was right for BJ. Seven words to describe Layla: Headstrong, spoiled, focused, uncompromising, opinionated, selfish and intuitive.

Sexy Beast, told from alternating POVs, offers a great mixture of plot, smexy times, angst and suspense. I am happy where it took them and loved catching up with Jake and Lilly from the Eden trilogy.

Swoon-worthy sexy beast hero, BJ! Scorching sex scenes! Entertaining and fast-paced plot!

“Time my cock was inside you,” he says.”

Hero contemplated cheating on his wife while she was sick.

When the hero finds out very bad news about the heroine and goes to a strip club, gets a lap dance & goes to the VIP room with the stripper. Although the hero couldn't get it up when she gets naked I'm still revolted.

That's so fucking disgusting. Not in a million years would I ever believe that piece of trash hero actually loved her.

Billy Joe Pilkington
a badass, a criminal, a sexy dangerous man who takes what he wants when he wants to and right now the time has come for him to claim the only woman he ever wanted BUT was off limits...

Layla Eden
an overly protected, somewhat spoilt and loved young woman, the youngest in the Eden family amongst three older brothers (Jake, Dominic and Shane) always kinda "hated" him - BJ. ever since they were teens... BUT she could not escape the attraction to his allure. It was too much, too dangerous and too addictive and one single moment when she got caught in her little mischief by him - the "hate" collided with the "heat" and the seal of untouchable was forever broken

the odds have changed, casual sex became more inspite of the resentment from her family...she chose Billy Joe and she stood by him

BUT the story doesn't end here, when you really think you got lulled by the "sweet" after the "hot alpha claimed the guurl" plot, you are wrong cause this story pulls you further into the realms of real life, where money doesn't really mean anything at all...BUT when turmoil hits were it hurts the most then HOPE, FAITH and PERSISTANCE call for a little MIRACULE.

Georgia, really surprised me with this story, it started light and sexy and stemy hot and ended like the real life tears you apart and throws you into the depths of black only to show you the way into the light again.

This is book 1 in the Gipsy Heroes series which is a spin of Eden series Eden I (The Eden Trilogy, #1) by Georgia Le Carre Eden II (The Eden Trilogy, #2) by Georgia Le Carre Eden III (The Eden Trilogy, #3) by Georgia Le Carre and it should be read in this order starting with the latter.

Okay. Where to start? I ended up really liking this. But I didn't feel emotionally connected to the characters until about mid-book. That being said, the first half wasn't bad, I just felt a bit detached... especially from Layla (the heroine). And the plot twist I was hoping for? Yeah, it happened. And I didn't like it. I actually ended up skimming about 20% of the book after because it just made me uncomfortable. BUT- the book got four stars because it had a hot hero, it was riddled with cool holistic information, and had a *GREAT* HEA.

So,wow! This book took me completely by suprise. At the beginning, you think this is goung to be some hardcore BDSM book after the hero spanks the heroine, then, later on have a really rough and kinky threesome with two other girls.By this time I eas ready to fold and find something else to read.Am I glad I held on to finish this book. What a roller coaster of emotions this book turned out to be.The hero was an underground barenuckle fighter, owner of clubs and resturants,a " criminal" who sold drugs,etc...the heroine a young designer.Sexual tension is always tight with them. They hook up,have explosive sex and the heroine wants to keep their romance a secret untill it is exposed at a family wedding.
After the h/H become a couple, finds out she is pregnant, marry and live in love, the unthinkable happens.....the heroine has cancer.Family and friends, even her husband wants her to terminate her pregnancy, but she refuses ,sticks to her conviction and carries on.Eventually everyone is on board with her decision to fight this cancer the natural, hollistic, organic way.Her husband does everything to support her, even eating all, natural, organic, vegetarian foods.
This part of the story was an emotional ringer for me.I have personal experience with this situation and had spent many, many years as an oncology nurse.
What I did not like was when the heroine refused to get a termination, the hero went to his bil's strip club and had a dancer take him to a VIP room, but nothing at all happened.
This hero had loved the heroine since she was a little girl ,brought a tie pin ehen he was 15 with her name on it and vowed to walk down the aisle to marry her with it on and he did.He loved her completely and when they were told the cancer diagnosis , he was completely destroyed.
This book may not work for everyone, but for me it was a wonderfull read.

Believe every negative word you've heard. This is just shit-tastic deluxe. Stay very far away.

The longest threesome with OW I have ever had the misfortune to read in the history of my bad reading mistakes. It was 4% of a short book and WAY LONGER than any sex scene with the h.

Yeah...just think about that shit.

After reading Jake's story I wanted to know all about his entire family and Layla's story was a beautiful beginning to it.
BJ has only eyes for Layla and we could very well see it even before this book💞

Their chemistry is sizzling. Banter too makes you tickle but the best part was Layla's bravery. I never thought that a spoilt princess could be this strong and this much determined in her decisions. Somewhere in the end I wanted to hate Layla for being more than required strong and all but then I try to understand her point if view.

A really good read.

I was surprised to say the least what started off as something that I thought was leading to a BDSM read totally was not and it was a pleasant surprise.

BJ was a fighter a gypsy, a man whore, a rich man through illegal gains, he owned strip clubs and was someone not to be me messed with also someone Layla was warned to stay away from.

Layla also a gypsy had grown up around BJ but a family feud kept them apart.

It's a gypsy Romeo and Juliette story.

BJ longingly adores and watches Layla from the age of 14 to the present, he finally gets his girl and the transformation in his character from what he was at the beginning to this sweet caring loved up man is remarkable and swoon worthy.

BJ:
I've been with countless women all of them vibrant and sexy but she makes them all pale into significance.

They come together after a chance hot meeting and can no longer fight the inevitable, destined to be together they take the chance and for a short while Layla hides her relationship from her family of overprotective brothers.

It's a very hot start, all sex and lust with a question will the fire fizzle out, but it doesn't and the secret has to be told when they both know it's more.

The plot takes a dramatic turn to one of heartache and heartwarming moments something I never would of thought ide be reading when I first started this book.

There's a bit of weirdness I didn't understand with rituals but it was the gypsy way and I went along with the plot. Also quotes before each chapter.

The secret to the Labrynth is always at the beginning. Before you enter. Once you do it,it's too late.

In summary a hot read that also became a beautiful story of the power of love.

Love is just a word until someone comes along and gives it meaning. She. She is the meaning.

I loved the story, loved the characters and loved the pace of this terrific read!

Got to say though that I struggled with the cancer story line because it was something close to home that in my experience miracles alone don't happen for.
YES (big time) to self help and having a positive attitude. And to making MAJOR dietary changes to help save oneself - I believe that and have watched it happen - it's necessary if for no other reason than to give a person the strength needed to get through the awful treatment ahead.

But to be able to all but will it away with juiced cannabis and good diet??? No, I'm not buying that.

We have AMAZING, dedicated doctors that we need to work with alongside that self help. To chance going it alone IMO would be a stupid and unforgivably suicidal risk to take, which isn't to say that even a non religious person like myself doesn't quietly get down on their knees at every chance they get and with every bone in their body pray a lifetimes worth of prayer to a God they don't even know for that miracle to save the one they love... because you'd take their pain yourself if you could, so I didn't even understand her families reaction to that aspect of the story.

Life in my experience isn't a fairytale and this book is too well written and real for it to be classed as one, it tainted the story a little bit for me as the reader.

Other than that - again brilliance

Thanks hugely to Georgia for the arc - you are a truly gifted writer - LOL I think this is the first time one of your amazing books has given me the hump, but I'll still be all over Beast #2!

07/11/17: editing to add- I wish I could give this book negative stars.

Original review:
I'm not so prudish that I can't hack knowing a H has had sex (even recently) with other women, but who makes the awful decision to put explicit sex (which spans multiples chapters) between the H and other women in the story! Especially after the event that leads the H & h on their path to being together. TERRIBLE, terrible decision. For me, BJ was never redeemed from that.

Add to that the fact that we're told a whole lot throughout the book, but there's never any story telling that allows us to imagine what's happening. "We had breakfast. It was good." That kind of thing.

There's also no build up. Why do they hate one another? When do they each change their mind about the other? When is the moment where they both fall in love? And then the whole ending with the

So no, I didn't care for this book. I didn't care for the main characters. I would not read it again, and I really wish that after the menage scene, I'd just canned it altogether.

2.5 to 3 stars.

Having just read 'You Don't Own Me' part one I decided to check out other books by this author, when I found they were all on KU I didn't know which one to read first.
Now I enjoyed this book but early on it was touch and go for me,
'You got the peaches, I got the cream, babe.'
So I was cringing in places and the whole threesome bit was, well, tacky but I stuck with it and the two main characters grew on me and I loved her brothers so I'm ready for the next book 'Wounded Beast'

After reading Eden i knew i have to check out BJ's story. It is again a very steamy and hot romance but i didn't expect the second half of it. The characters change a lot and it is like reading a new book. I also felt that the ending was a bit rushed. Now looking forward to reading the next books from the Eden family.

No. Just no. I don't want to read about the guy having a threesomes with strippers with strap-ons. Even if it gives him an epiphany. And please don't dedicate a book that has strippers with strap-ons to a Catholic saint.

Lovely love story!
BJ and Layla love story begins a bit rushing, and you don't get much about his personality in the first half of the book, but only in the second half.

He didn't pick my interest immediately, but with the advancement of the story you discover a man with a big heart, who loves with all himself. I loved him and of course I loved Layla too.
How their story developed was interesting but also painful and emotional, but they had a lovely HEA.

I enjoyed it, so I recommend it!

This book has so many of the romance cliches in one story, I kept rolling my eyes. This author took scenes from at least 20 books I've read. Here are a few:
1) wander into bedroom during party and get caught
2) spanking for punishment
3) they grew up together and were enemies
4) Hero (I use this term loosely) has a threesome but thinks about the h the whole time
5) H is super rich
6) H owns a nightclub
7) h goes to said nightclub and dances with H (owner). H becomes possessive and orders bouncers to fend off suitors
8) MMA Fighter
9) blah, blah, blah

SEXY BEAST, what an attractive title. However, it is and it isn’t what you think. It’s a teaser no doubt!! Without offering spoilers, let me just say that the story is about LOVE on many levels...This type of love will inspire you to believe in the Power of LOVE again, and again! It’s also about self- conviction… When unexpected crisis threatens to destroy both BJ and Layla life, they along with their family fought and won a battle which could have destroyed them all. All the characters in this book showed great strength and conviction. Layla character was by far my favorite. She made me laugh and cry, yes, get out your Kleenex for the last half of this book.
As usual, Georgia, would give you several twists and titillating moments. SEXY BEAST (Georgia), delivered again! You know after the Banker, which broke the damn wide-open in my eyes. I didn’t believe she could make smile and weep at the same time. She didn’t disappoint! You are one BAD………can’t say it cause AMAZON won’t post it. But you get what I’m thinking. The metamorphous (pretty big word for me... lol) of both Layla and BJ is quite evident throughout this book. I really liked the way Layla's character was developed from Sassy, Sexy, Shy Smart mouth, Spoiled brat to a fearless woman we could all be proud of. BJ’s character was also able to show his vulnerable side’s at the most crucial points.
Layla’s character, taught me a lot about who I am, how to stand tall and smile when adversity is steering you in your face. Overall, this story is special for me, because it provided me with a few tools that I can use in my life!!!!!!!!
Within the first few chapters of the book, BJ will Spank Layla; they well get raw, nasty and juicy, yummy. You won’t be disappointed with the sex scenes, they are all Georgia specials!
There is always something amazingly beautiful about Georgia characters, they are usually broken and uniquely flawed individuals! However, she fines realistic why to calm their troubled souls and make us fall in love with them.
Ultimately the book is heart-wrenching, it’s a story of LOVE. And what you're willing to sacrifice for those YOU love.

The Edens are back…

Having read the Crystal Jake series I couldn’t wait to dive into this story with Layla Eden, Jake’s sister, as the heroine. Layla is the lone sister of an adoring family and, while not spoiled, she knows she is loved unconditionally.

BJ Pilkington is a bad boy through and through. He keeps his emotional distance from everyone while acknowledging the “manwhore” title may be well-deserved. Dangerous and dark, labeled a criminal, BJ is everything her family doesn’t want for her but Layla cannot help what she feels.

“A totally misunderstood, half-man, half-beast, hiding a suffering heart.”

Skirting on the wrong side of the law, Billy Joe knows Layla should be out of his reach but when circumstances put her in his path he cannot resist her any longer.

The attraction between Layla and BJ was strong and the intimate scenes between them were scorching, to put it mildly. Frolicking in the forest has definitely taken on a whole new meaning.

A touch of Romeo and Juliet meets James Dean with a whole lot of Peyton Place and All My Children, this story covered a dizzying amount of ground. From an unusual courtship to a rather abrupt ending, my emotions were pulled from one highly-charged circumstance to another. I liked the main characters and the entire Eden clan brought support and unceasing love to the mix.

Overall a good read and the start of a new series I will be following. ~ Diane, 3.5 stars

B.J. And Layla have been enemies ever since a humiliating episode in the schoolyard. He thinks she’s a spoilt petulant princess and she thinks he’s a crude arrogant man whore. But unbeknown to Layla B.J. has been watching and wanting her for years. It all comes to a head when at a party she sneaks into his bedroom and he catches her red-handed.

So for me this was quite a problematic read the hero here B.J. Pilkerton well he just doesn’t come across well I struggled to warm to him and It definitely didn’t help that he was a massive man whore. I could have dealt somewhat if it had just been vague background filler but to have a whole scene in his tacky sex room where he had a threesome and it was also very explicit, to say the least, and detailed and also long well let’s just say it was far too much information for me and turned me right off him. I just didn’t need the visual and he never quite recovered from that for me especially considering it occurred directly after his incident in the bedroom with Layla then he just move on to these two complete randoms.

There were a couple of other things as well that managed to turn me off: B.J. Could be so incredibly crude like all of the time it never let up and then to top that all off his visit to the strip club and private lap dance the first time he’s truly tested. I know it all came to nothing but none of this sat well with me and i actually wanted Layla to discover this and rip him a new one. Then if we move on to the stuff at the end with Layla's health I wasn’t totally convinced but obviously, I’m no expert so I took it in the spirit it was intended and in romance land, we need our HEA. I also thought we went from enemies to lovers in a blink and there was a lack of any deeper conversations between these two. Also the hate as well I could never really understand where it was initially coming from.

What I did like was that we were dealing with the traveller community I found that aspect to be unique and it’s one of the main reasons this caught my eye. I also liked Layla even though I did initially find her a bit immature and thought she need to cut the apron strings slightly. Overall this isn’t my favourite from this author I have enjoyed other books of hers a lot more than this so I definitely wouldn’t discount reading more from them in the future but this wasn’t my jam and I persevered mostly because I wanted to discover the outcome.

And here I thought I've read all of Ms.Le Carre's ultimate best...

And once again, I'm simply been proven wrong! Ms.Le Carre is a master of poignant moments in sexy as hell-romantic writing. SEXY BEAST is one of her best novels in which she recreates such breathtaking moments. A luminescent love story set against a trademark storyline of two people in love with one another, but having to wade through practical and emotional obstacles before they unite. Layla and BJ are a fictional couple who jump out of the page because Georgia makes them real and believable. The pace never slips and your interest is kept from beginning to end. My gut was like a roller coaster reading the dialogue between BJ and Layla. Emotionally and sensually, this book really packs a good punch. The characters and their interactions with each other are beautifully written with a strong emphasis on the emotional link between Layla and BJ, their special bond is strong and has real depth. It is passionate, it's deep and intense, imbued with a sensuality that leaps off the page. Though all of Georgia's books I've read are stunning, so far, I'd say this is not just one of the best. To me, this stands out, it's different from all the others. There are several twists and intense moments throughout the book, and the characters are diverse. i really liked the way Layla's character grew from the shy but spoiled little girl to a stong fearless woman, that still however, shows her vulnerable sides at the scarriest crucial moments. This is gripping at times, when faced with a devastating news that threatens their lives. So different from all of Georgia's books. This is also the first time she shared with her readers one hero's sex scene with other women other than the heroine. It was vivid, explicit, raw, but my oh my, it was electrifyingly hot!

Ms,Le Carre is a genius at describing all that happened in the past, including that of Jake and Lily's story leading up to that night, when BJ caught Layla in his bedroom stealing something from him. What follows next was Layla's come hither's vilifying "punishment" from BJ...and that was just the beginning, a wetting of ones appetite...so rousing I wanna stand in line and be punished! ;)

I clutched this book to my heart when I finished it and have re-read it. I feel an incredible gratitude to Ms.Le Carre when she brings us stories like this. She's made me laugh and cry, all her books gave me a myriad of fleeting emotions...terrified, angered, ecited, and this is no different. She gives you that sultry, Gypsy itchy charm, a cover for a multitude of sins and passions simmering just under the surface. She uses a seamless multi point of view to let the reader really experience these vividly created people in a way enforced writing, (single pov) just cannot flesh out. It's simply Le Carre's and the genre at it's best!!!

Layla Eden was the youngest and the only girl from the Eden clan. BJ Pilkington was a manwhore. He had a good reason for it and that reason was Layla Eden. BJ had been in love with her since childhood but the family feud the Eden and Pilkington had it would've been impossible besides he knew Layla hated him for some reason. But oh how he wished his dream and desires will come true.

Life will put their love to a difficult test that will affect not only them but everyone around them. Can this two finally have their happily ever after?

WOW!!!! Just WOW!!!!

About a couple chapters in to this book I wasn't quite sure I was going to keep reading, but I did & very quickly after that I was hooked. And now I will be picking up the Eden series because I HAVE to have more of this author!

I just have to say that some may think that the way this book ended is the fairy tale to end all fairy tales, but I don't!!! I believe in miracles. But OMG, talk about a book hangover!!!

About the characters, early on Layla seems a bit spoiled but she really is a great person & I quickly came to see that. As for BJ, the love he has for Layla is transcendent!!! And wow, what a sexy beast he is!!! I loved this book!!!

The story itself was satisfactory, however it became wildly irresponsible when it began promoting stand alone holistic medicine as a viable treatment for an aggressive cancer. That's how you die. When combined with traditional science (chemo/radiation/surgery), homeopathic medicine can be an asset. Alone, a death sentence.
The there's the insane line about "less people die of cancer than of cancer treatments." I feel certain the are more articulate members of the good reads community than I who can explain how freaking ridiculous this statement is. If you're out there please do!

--*sigh* I can't really be mad that I hated this book. I knew going into it that with a book title like "sexy beast" I wasn't really delving into something deep. This doesn't bother me, I enjoy smut. SMUT SMUT SMUT I'm cool with it. What I don't like is smut that is obviously smut but somehow tries to pretend it isn't smut. Dude, you titled your book "sexy beast" please don't try to then make a story line... Here's what's wrong with the book:

1. It felt like the author was starting to write it and then halfway through was like "I'm not comfortable writing porn. I think I should make it have some substance".
2. Instead of actually adding substance she just kind of threw some stuff in there that was meant to be earth-shattering. It wasn't. It was silly.
3. I spent most of the first half of the book annoyed with how the characters are portrayed. I spent the second have of the book flipping pages as fast as I could to the end--without reading them--Not because there was suspense, but because I always feel guilty about not finishing a book.
4. No character development and the entire plot was stupid, stupid, stupid.

Things that were good about the book:

1. The book doesn't end badly... so there's that.
2. It ended...so there's that.

Tudo aqui é papum!

Que carai de livro é esse gzuis?!

Sabe aquele ditado: "A curiosidade matou o gato"?
