Felíne has narrowly escaped her father’s hunters, but not the consequences of their pursuit.
Saved by Kal’s deadly skill and timely intervention, she is taken to Meress, hidden stronghold of the Cozened rebellion and the heart of enemy territory. There, surrounded by those who would see her kingdom fall, Felíne is forced to confront two harrowing truths: her growing love for a man she can never claim…and the secret that threatens to destroy it.
Because Felíne is not a fugitive Fate. She is the Prima. The last hope of a cursed people. And Kal might never forgive her deception.
In Asteros, Imogen has returned to the Fates by the queen’s command. But this time, she’s not one of them. Now an elder, condemned to witness the crown’s cruelty from within, Imogen must navigate treacherous alliances and form dangerous new ones. But nothing could have prepared her for the ache of facing Karrick—the Primordial Male, Felíne’s destined mate, and the man Imogen loves.
As the kingdom tightens its grip, rebellion rises, and Felíne stands at the center of an Ilistaar on the brink of war. Every choice demands a sacrifice. Every path exacts a toll. When fate is revealed, Felíne’s faith will not be enough to stop the reckoning…and someone she loves will pay the price.
N. A. Walker is a writer of adult romantic fantasy.
She holds a BA in psychology from Arizona State University and a BS in nursing from Northern Arizona University.
She funds her passion for writing by working full-time as a surgical nurse, is a voracious bookworm, and prefers to hibernate during the unforgivable southwest summers. She and her husband live in Arizona with their children and two lazy pups.
After the cliffhanger in book one, I couldn’t wait to dive into this, and it absolutely delivered. The world building continues to get richer, the secrets run even deeper, and every reveal had me questioning everything I thought I knew.
Felíne (Kitty) continues to be such a wonderful FMC. She’s compassionate, brave, and watching her question everything she’s ever known while discovering her own strength was one of my favorite parts of the book. Her growth felt so genuine. Kal has officially become one of my favorite MMCs. I adore this man. He’s fiercely loyal, endlessly protective, and always puts the people he loves first. Their slow burn relationship is beautifully done, and I couldn’t get enough of them.
The twists kept me hooked from beginning to end, and then… THAT ENDING. 😭 I actually sat there staring at my Kindle because there’s no way it could end there! Now I’m going to be impatiently waiting for book three because I need answers.
If you love: 🖤 Slow-burn romance 🖤 Protective MMC 🖤 Found family 🖤 Rich fantasy world-building 🖤 Hidden truths and shocking revelations 🖤 Twists that keep you guessing 🖤 Characters you’ll become completely invested in
This is a series you don’t want to miss.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Thank you to the author for the ARC in exchange for my honest review!
An exciting next book in this series that has me already waiting for the next one with a cliffhanger ending and the world hanging in the balance of a princess who’s not even sure she wants to uphold her role any longer.
With the pair getting closer to her “brother” in Meress, Kitty must decide if she will reveal her true identity to Kal now that they’ve escaped immediate danger, or if she will cling to her secrets to protect herself. But the truth always comes out and the secret that she is not who she claims is revealed. Kal must battle with the idea of the women he’s come to know with the lies he’s been told about her, while kitty races to escape the clutches of those who now believe she has betrayed them and is some sort of spy. Back in the capital, those moving in the shadows continue their plan to thwart the king and Imogene is forced back in with the other fates, only their role has changed and they only service the primordial male as he prepares for the prima. As secrets continue to be revealed and plots on both sides are made, the FMC and MMC have to decide if they will do what’s best for the kingdom or what their hearts really want.
I enjoyed this book even more than the first. The multiple POVs of so many characters allowed for a fun way to follow the storylines throughout the kingdoms and see all the different plots interwoven. I also liked the continued development of the relationship between Kitty and Kal and how even when they were mad at each other, they couldn’t hide that they cared and the tension between them, plus I love a man who would burn the world for the one he loves. I am waiting for one more secret to come out that I am hoping is revealed in the next book, especially with more of Kal’s background given in this book and the promise his uncle has to keep! With that ending, I can’t wait to see how things turn out from this chain of events in the next book! My rating 4.7/5!
Thanks to the author for the gifted copy, all opinions given are my own!
*I was lucky enough to be gifted an eARC of Revealing Fate by N.A. Walker. The posted review is my honest opinion on the book.
"The body may ache, but bodies will heal. Ruinous pain afflicts only the soul."
This book was incredible.
To start you get a recap, which is amazing, but this book hits the ground running. We get a deeper look into the Godking and what happened immediately following the curse. A deeper understanding. And then it just takes off from there.
I was completely enraptured in this one. Cloaking Fate was incredible, but this one is the one. Cloaking Fate was the introduction, Revealing Fate is the connection. It's the meat.
I have a theory and I can't tell you what it is. I know, that's mean. When you read it, let me know, we can talk. Because I need to talk to someone about this book. And when it comes to this theory, I'm not willing to be wrong. So even, if I am, I won't accept it.
I didn't think I could fall deeper for Kal, I did. We really get to know who Kal is in this book. We get his backstory, his view of the world, and a better understanding of his heart. Kal is probably one of my favorite MMCs at this point. There is so much depth to his character, that I really feel like we've only just scratched the surface. Kalevar Kaine deserves everything he's ever wanted and I will not be taking any arguments on the matter.
This book has even more humor, tenser situations, higher stakes, betrayal, secrets uncovered.
I love the banter between all of the characters. N.A. Walker took great care in giving us something that felt like genuine friendship and connection. She makes you feel invested.
I could go on, but at this point, I don't know what more I can say without accidentally slipping in a spoiler. And she's too pretty for that. I cannot wait for you to get your hands on this.
I will be rereading at some point, and I am dying for the next book in the series.
A huge thank you to the author for selecting me to receive an Advanced Reader Copy (ARC) in exchange for an honest review!
N.A. Walker has done it again—another absolute five-star read!
Revealing Fate, the highly anticipated second installment in the series, hits the ground running and picks up seamlessly right where book one left us hanging. We rejoin our Prima, Felíne—though to most, her name is Kitty, and she is every bit as pretty, witty, and clever as you’d hope. As she and Kal push forward on their journey, Kitty’s true identity remains shrouded in deception. But while her name may be a cover, there is nothing fake about her growing feelings for Kal, whose fierce protection, unwavering loyalty, and raw strength make him impossible not to fall for.
Walker scales up the stakes brilliantly in this sequel. The trials our main characters face will have you white-knuckling the pages at the edge of your seat, while their undeniable chemistry will literally have you kicking your feet with a huge grin on your face. Beneath the romance and action lies a plot driven by big, daring ideas that could alter fate itself.
What truly elevates this book, however, is Walker’s immersive world-building and character craft. Her rich imagery brings every sweeping landscape, intricate character design, and terrifying creatures vividly to life. She doesn’t just describe her characters—she breathes life into their personalities through their actions and dialogue. You don’t just read about them; you feel for them, whether that’s deep affection or absolute disdain.
If you are a fan of Rebecca Yarros or Sarah J. Maas, put this on your radar immediately. High fantasy lovers, this is your next obsession!
Don’t miss Revealing Fate by N.A. Walker when it drops on September 1st!
One of the things I loved most about this book was the incredible way the author brought the world to life. The world-building was immersive, vivid, and beautifully detailed—I found myself wishing that if it were a real place because I would visit it in a heartbeat. How ever war driven it may be dosen't matter
As the story progressed, I became completely smitten with the MMC, Kal. His strength, loyalty, and unwavering sense of responsibility made him such a compelling character. At the same time, Kitty was equally captivating. Her courage, resilience, and the weight of the responsibilities she carried made me admire her even more.
What truly stole my heart, though, was the chemistry between Kitty and Cal. Their interactions felt natural and engaging, and watching their relationship develop was an absolute delight. The attraction between them was beautifully written, with just the right balance of tension, tenderness, and emotional depth, making it impossible not to root for them.
BUT BUT BUT , there is something that I was really affected with and that was when the hell was Domitan gonna die I want him dead like how can someone not be a real person yet still make me so frustrated is beyond me but that is one of the charms of reading a book as well as the seduction that the author gives us. And let me tell you I am not a person that gets easily frustrated that I will be like imagine many wonderful ways of killing him. Although I did really loved the chemistry and the main leads the thing that got me going was when the hell is he going to die.
BTW tha way the author has this book in a cliff-hanger and the way it finished I do not like it at all I want more I want to know about what happed next weighting for the next book patiently and frustratingly.
SO GOOD! I have been literally craving this book for months after the cliffhanger of Cloaking Fate and this book delivered! I can honestly say this book kept me captivated as much as the first book, if not moreso. No second book syndrome here. 🙅🏼♀️
The rich world building and the deeply developed characters drew me in during book one and pulled me in even further in this second book as it continued. I already want to read the third book, especially after that cliffhanger! I NEED to know what happens! There were so many secrets, revelations, plot twists, and betrayals and it was all written so well. Nothing was just thrown into the story at random. Every detail ties back to another part of the story and it is done in a way that you don't see it coming.
Our girl, Felíne, develops even more and we see her continue to learn about the world outside of Asteros and some ugly truths that have her questioning evrything. She discovers more of herself and I can't help but feel bad for her and Kal. Dang curse!
Kal is definitely one of my favorite MMCs. The slow burn relationship between he and Felíne (Kitty) is written so well. I have my suspicions about the Primordial Male, or maybe I'm just hoping and wishing they have it wrong. I'm sure the next book will reveal even more surprises and I can't wait for it!
If you're looking for: ☀️rich world building ☀️twists and revelations ☀️loveable characters, main and side characters alike, that you become easily and completely invested in ☀️slow burn romance ☀️fated mates ☀️a beautifully written curse woven into the core of the story
AHHHH this book had me in an absolute chokehold! I devoured it in less than a day, just like I did with the first book in the series. It was SO good.
I have to say, this is one of the most twisted and dark curses I've ever seen woven into a fantasy world and its people. But the way it's written is done so well that it never feels dark just for the sake of being dark, if that makes sense. This curse is simply a part of their world—a reality these people have lived with for generations.
And these poor women in this world... the things they have to endure are heartbreaking, but they are also incredibly resilient through it all.
This story felt like the perfect example of how history can be rewritten, truths can be buried, and false narratives can become accepted as fact simply because they were written that way.
Now let's talk about Kal because this man is TOP TIER protective MMC material and I absolutely loved him. If protective, touch-her-and-die energy is your thing, you're going to love him.
And Feline? She is the sweetest, most sheltered curse-breaker FMC, and watching her learn the truth about her world and herself was such a great journey.
We've got a curse-breaker FMC, found family, possible fated mates (I think 👀), tension, fighting, reveals, deception, and secrets around every corner.
And that ending?! I was practically stomping my feet because WHAT WAS THAT?!
Revealing Fate is a masterful sequel to Cloaking Fate. The author provided me with an ARC . Walker has expanded the world along with power threats and the relationship between Kitty and Kal. The couple will go through their own ups and down as secrets start to be revealed. Emotions and action are cranked to far greater heights as our characters get pulled between what they want and what destiny has in store for them.
The author descriptions is this series stand out feature. Every detail is explained in such powerful detail you can envision any moment or scene in your head. You feel as if you’re standing in Kitty and Kal’s place. You can imagine the people they talk to, the environment they track through, and feel the clothes they were. Even though their problems are grand in the books. We all can sympathize with what challenges they will experience and the solutions they try to employ. This book transports you to their world and puts you in the shoes.
I highly recommend this to anyone who wants a mode grounded fantasy store where the characters take center stage instead of magic or a power system. Where the decision between being selfish or Selfless can doom an entire race. Where Revealing one’s fate leads to experience a whole new world.
After finishing Cloaking Fate, I couldn’t wait to jump into this one and it didn’t disappoint. The stakes are higher, more secrets come to light and the world just keeps expanding in the best way. One of my favorite things about this series is this author’s writing style. It’s easy to get lost in and the world-building continues to be one of the strongest parts of these books.
I really enjoyed seeing Feline grow into herself and become more confident as the story unfolded. Her relationship with Kal also continues to develop naturally and I liked that the romance never overshadowed the bigger fantasy plot.
There were plenty of twists, political intrigue and new revelations that kept me turning the pages. I felt like every answer uncovered another mystery, which made it hard to put down.
Overall, this was a great follow-up to the first book and I’m completely invested in this series. If you enjoy fantasy with immersive world-building, slow-burn romance and a story that keeps growing with each book, I definitely recommend picking this series up.
After finishing the first book, which ended on a cliffhanger, I needed more. I had questions and I needed answers.
For a sheltered girl Felíne is refreshingly reasonable. I enjoyed seeing her life coming apart and her searching for her own opinions and thoughts. She does not pretend to be anything she isn't which is hard to come by.
Kal the man that you are. Phased by NOTHING. He's just deliciously perfect. He is the only person that can keep growling in my humble opinion. Because he sees the world and the people in it so differently, what I initially took as arrogance turned out to be something I could understand.
Now I know this story is about Felíne but can I get some praise for the side characters. The interactions were enjoyable and even the villains in the book were satisfyingly evil.
An enjoyable story with plottwists that had me kicking my feet, giggling and gasping.
I absolutely loved Revealing Fate. It was everything I wanted from the second book in the series and definitely lived up to the first one.
The characters are still one of my favourite parts of these books. They feel so real, and I was completely invested in what happened to them. I also have to say, I’ve honestly never disliked a fictional character as much as I did one in this book. I won’t say who because I don’t want to spoil anything, but wow… I wanted to jump into the book and give them a piece of my mind! It just shows how well the author writes her characters.
The plot kept me hooked the whole way through, and I honestly struggled to put it down. I read both Cloaking Fate and Revealing Fate in a week because I just had to know what happened next.
N.A. Walker has such an easy writing style that makes these books fly by, and I enjoyed every minute of this one. A very easy five stars from me, and I can’t wait for the next book in the series.
Grateful to the author for this ARC copy of Revealing Fate. I haven't read the book before in the series before this so I was appreciative of the recap at the beginning.
This book was very enjoyable and very relatable. I had a fun time reading this story.
I was a little confused, however, with a few of the characters one being the MMC and the other being the uncle of the MMC. Both had similar names that started with the same letter so not having read book 1 I was a little confused and it slowed me down with reading the story.
Overall I truly enjoyed the story, lots of enjoyable tropes like one horse two riders, forced proximity, fight scenes, unrequited love, touch her and die, ?knotting?, found family. This book had so many good elements that it made the story totally enjoyable.
Revealing Fate kept me invested with the slow-burning tension between Felíne and Kal. I really enjoyed watching them navigate their feelings for each other, especially after all the secrets came to light. Their journey felt earned, even if the pacing dragged a little in places. The standout for me, though, was Imogen and Karrick. Their story unfolding in the background was equal parts heartbreaking and beautiful, and I found myself just as invested in them. I'm really hoping things work out for the two of them because they deserve some happiness after everything they've been through. A slower-paced instalment for me, but one that still delivered on the emotion and left me wanting to see where everyone's story goes next.
In this follow up, after a jaw dropping cliff hanger in book 1, our journey continues with Felíne. There are so many pieces of the character stories that are coming together. And while the first book engages the reader in the world building and the story, I really loved how NA Walker continued in expanding the world, engaged intrigue, character development (wink), and STILL LEFT US HANGING!
And can we also talk about the shock with who the primordial male is?! I was not ready for that plot to drop in book one, and then just seeing the ripple effects in book 2 is just devastating. Bravo!

I read this as an ARC and leaving an honest review. A sequel better than book 1?? Yes!!! Still with the recreates but then the betrayal? Ugh. Not only is Feline finding out what terrible things her parents are doing but her secret is up!!! And Kal?? Man!! This man!!! The patience, the forgiveness!! Knowing he can’t have what he really wants?? I absolutely ate this book up and couldn’t put it down. Just when everything is starting to feel like you will get some closure! Nope!! That freaking ending I’m so sad for both of them!!!!!
I didnt get to read the first book but its summarized in the beginning so you kinda know what's going on but not everything. This one leaves on a cliffhanger which I can assume the first one did too. There's so much going on and so many lies and secrets, then everything starts to unravel to a point you don't know which way is north or south. I absolutely can't wait to read the next one because I'm hoping for miraculous things to occur.
The most beautiful writing once again. Infinite stars. This book had me tearing up not even 30% in. Love seeing more from the side characters, they are written so well and don't feel like they're there just to fill the space. Each of them have a piece of my heart (Especially Imogen💔) As for the main characters, I just hope the author has some mercy on them in book three. They need something to go right for them for once.
Thank you, N. A. Walker, for another incredible experience ❤️
This book was so good. I read it in 24hrs. I was drawn in. I did nit want to put it down I had to know what happened. Of course after reading it, I am asking myself so many questions, but the biggest one is, is the thought correct in who everyone is? And like what happened, the cliffhanger is diabolical, but so good. I can't wait until book 3. I have to know what happens. I know how I envision it going, but I mean don't all readers.
Book one left us hanging. Book two…. Another cliffy!!
Awaarrrggghhh you know i need more, im greedy, i need more!! I have devoured this book, the characters both main and background are do relatable in their own unique ways, i just loved getting more depth from them.
The story is developing well, i dont want to write spoilers but yes, its so good!! But i curse the cliffy ending!! Arrgghh!!!
Overall i have really really enjoyed this book and cannot wait to read more.
This was absolutely fantastic, as was the first book. There is no second book syndrome happening in this one. I love how original the story is and how easily you fall in love with the characters. The duality of the love story between Imogen and Karrick alongside Feline and Kal is so gut wrenching. That ending leaves you on the edge waiting to find out what happens in book 3.
I love that Feline is discovering who she is and that she is more than just her title. We see her and Kal delve deeper into their relationship and what their roles are in the greater world.
While it took me a while to get into book 1, book 2 was much more interesting and sucked me in. I enjoyed Feline's personal journey, warring between duty and her own wants.
I received an advanced reader copy and am leaving this review voluntarily.
✨My heart goes out to Felíne! Bound by duty and having to disregard her own heart! This book ended with me hoping that Kal would rescue her again, but alas, the Epilogue ended with him nowhere in sight and Felíne going to her fate 😫 I need more! I need to know if Kal and Felíne end up together! I need to know if the curse is broken! AHHH! I need answers! I hope that there’s a 3rd one 😮💨✨

I was so lucky to be an ARC reader for this book! Promise this will be spoil free and unbiased!
Guys, if you want yearning, this is the book for you, I haven't seen something like this in a WHILE. The adventure is epic! I love a fantasy with great adventure, some knives being thrown, and great fights! Can't wait for you guys to read it!
What a fantastic read! This is the second book in her series and it’s the perfect addition to her first book, Cloaking Fate. If you like a slow burn romance with sprinkles of magic, shape shifting and lots of twists and turns, this book is for you! I was instantly hooked and the writing held my attention from start to finish!
If this is the end, my rating will definitely change because what kind of ending is that??!!!
I finished this in one day because book 1 had me needing answers and book 2 was successful in keeping me interested in wanting more but omg this cannot be how it ends!!!
There has to be more, there has to be a twist of fate because ugh!!! 😩
The latest installment of the series didn’t disappoint! Kalevar Kaine is a top tier mmc, and one of my favorite characters of the series. Choosing the enemy has never been so good. The ending has me anxious for the next!!!
This book held nothing back. The world building, the character development and back stories are everything! Kal, what can I say I'm a Kal girl. Learning more about him in book 2 made a for a better understanding of him. The banter is perfection. Cannot wait for the next book in the series.
What to expect - ❤️🔥Fated mates with a twist ❤️🔥Slow burn romance ❤️🔥Fierce yearning ❤️🔥Forbidden love ❤️🔥Follow your heart, or fulfill your destiny? ❤️🔥He'd let the world burn to keep her
Revealing Fate follows on directly where Cloaking Fate ended. Don't panic, this doesn't have second book syndrome!!
It is beautifully written, poetic and lush!! There are many more secrets, betrayals and plot twists you won't see coming. I cannot wait for book 3 to see if it will answer my underlying theory, I want to know if I am right....
