In charge of the case is Detective Dylan McClellan. Dylan spent ten years of his life
convinced that his father had been a serial killer. He has spent the past ten years
wracked with guilt after learning his father was actually innocent. With bodies piling
up, and unsure of who to trust, Dylan must once again confront the world of serial
killers and find out who is responsible for this latest killing spree. In doing so, he
will need to confront his past if he has any hope of making sure more innocent lives aren't ruined.

Wow! What a twisty story! I loved every second of this! In fact I kept listening until it was over! I enjoyed the flawed characters and the active storyline.

The author does a good job incorporating the backstory which affects Dylan’s every day life. The only thing I never really understood is why Dylan wanted to end things. Depression? I am unsure and I can not comment on living with that situation his whole life. But I dont remember

I listened to this on audio. Phil Thron is a new to me narrator and he did excellent! I liked his voice and all the different characters he came up with for the story. I definitely will keep an eye out for him in the future!

I love diving into a good thriller just to see how long it takes new to figure out who did it. So i was really looking forward to this one. This did not disappoint. It only took a matter of a few chapters before i was completely invested. This was so intriguing, and I couldn’t put it down. The twists and turns were done so well that every time I thought I had it figured out, nope, not even close. I was so immersed in this one, I didn’t out it down until I was finished. This was a truly amazing story, and I loved every minute of it. I can’t wait to read more from this author.

Brilliant narration from Phil Thron

This book was wonderful! It kept me entertained and hooked. I did figure out part of the story beforehand but there were still twists I did not expect. Four stars simply because I figured it out and wanted to be surprised. But I loved the ride this book took me on! SB Cody did a great job and I’m hoping to read more of his work in the future.

Once I started, I could not put this down.

EVERYTHING WAS THERE!!!

One of my favorite thing about thrillers and mysteries is trying to figure it out. I'll say with this one, I did not see it coming. Then when you sit down and think about - of course it was the person!

Twists, secrets and revelations are scattered all throughout this book. I really enjoyed learning more about Dylan and his past. It's a unique twist on how someone becomes a detective. While there are darker moments, and Dylan is truly a flawed character, you cannot help but root for him to get it together and figure it out.

If you like murder mysteries and thrillers and twists and all the good things, pick up this book!
