I love when a romance balances heartbreak and hope so beautifully.

Nick and Jannie’s story turned out to be much more emotional than I expected, blending a second chance at love with a heartfelt journey through grief and healing. The heavier themes are handled with care, and while some moments were difficult to read, they gave the story its emotional weight.

Nick was easily my favorite part of the book. His quiet devotion, endless patience, and years of pining made him impossible not to root for. I liked that he and Jannie rebuilt their connection slowly through trust and support instead of rushing into romance. Their chemistry was strong, although I expected a little more from the spice, especially considering Nick’s lifestyle. Even so, the emotional connection remained the true focus, and I appreciated that more than anything.

Watching Jannie slowly find herself again alongside someone who never stopped believing in her made for a rewarding read. The romance felt sincere, the emotional moments landed well, and their happily ever after was genuinely satisfying.

This was a fulfilling journey, and I loved every step of it.

Jannie's in Vegas for a conference when she unfortunately runs into her ex husband. Even more unfortunate, he won't leave her alone. But, thank God for a gorgeous distraction when she runs into an old high school friend. Nick looks very different than the boy he was in high school. Now he's gorgeous, muscular, and oozes confidence that she can't help but be drawn to. Will she give into their attraction, or will she be the one who got away, again?

Nick can't believe his eyes when he sees the girl, now woman, he crushed on all through school. Jannie's even more beautiful now, and he's gained enough confidence since then that he's going to take this chance that dropped in his lap. But alas, things aren't meant to be, at least not this time, because Jannie drops out after something horrible happens, and now it's up to Nick to find her and figure out if she's OK, and let her know he'll always be there for her.

Jannie and Nick start off as two old friends meeting again, lose track of each other, then they come back together and he gently woos her back in by being her rock, opening up to her, and giving her the strength to open up to him, all while falling hard for each other. The way their relationship evolves is sweet, a whole lot emotional, and had me seriously invested in them finally finding the healing and the love they deserved with each other.

I love when a romance reminds you that healing doesn't have to happen alone. Sin City Dark surprised me by delivering far more emotional depth than I expected, blending second chances, grief, hope, and unwavering devotion into a romance that kept me invested from beginning to end. While the blurb hints at a darker, steamier story, the true heart of this book is watching two people reconnect at exactly the right time in their lives.

Nick was, without question, my favorite character. He'd quietly carried feelings for Jannie since high school, and when life unexpectedly placed her back in his path, he didn't take that opportunity for granted. I loved the way he supported her through some of her darkest moments without trying to rush her healing or expect anything in return. His patience, loyalty, and quiet confidence made him incredibly easy to root for, and I appreciated that his actions consistently spoke louder than his words.

Jannie had been through an unimaginable loss, and I thought the story handled her grief with care. Rather than rushing her into a new relationship, Leigh Iversen allowed Jannie the space to process her emotions while slowly rebuilding trust in both herself and Nick. Watching her gradually open her heart again made their romance feel sincere and well earned.

Nick and Jannie's relationship developed naturally through shared history, friendship, and emotional support. Their chemistry was undeniable, but what stood out most to me was the comfort they found in each other. Going in, I expected the BDSM elements and Nick's new business venture to play a much larger role. Instead, the story focused far more on healing, forgiveness, and rediscovering love after heartbreak, which ended up being my favorite part of the book. While I would have enjoyed a little more of the steam the premise seemed to promise, the emotional connection easily carried the story.

Sin City Dark is a heartfelt romance that balances emotional healing with hope, second chances, and a hero who never stopped believing that love was worth fighting for. Although a few personal preferences kept it from becoming a full five-star read, I genuinely enjoyed Nick and Jannie's journey and look forward to reading more from Leigh Iversen in the future.

Thank you to Leigh Iversen for the gifted advanced reader copy. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Sin City #3

Spice Level: 🌶🌶🌶
I kept this at 3 peppers due to the frequency of scenes, but the scenes are unique, nice and descriptive, and so much fun, so I think it could easily be a 3.5 pepper book for some!

Whew, baby, this one was nice and hot! Ms. Iversen, you’ve outdone yourself. I didn’t think anyone would overtake my love for Adam and Eve in book 1, but Nick and Jannie might have just achieved favorite couple of the series status for me.

Nick and Jannie went to high school together. He was the nerdy guy and was the one was the one that got away. Years later, she’s divorced, working as a doctor, and in Vegas for a work conference. Where she ends up running into Nick. She’s surprised, he’s ecstatic. There is still clearly something there between them, it’s just a matter of Nick being able to get Jannie to see it. She has to go back home to Orlando, but they keep in touch. After a devastating loss, she ends up taking 4 weeks off work, and Nick proposes she return to Vegas with him. She can stay with him, and he can help her with her pilot licenses. Oh, did I forget to mention Nick is now a super freaking hot, rich, s*x club owning pilot? Yuuuup.

So she does just that, and boy oh boy do they end up enjoying those 4 weeks! The only problem is that as feelings start to get involved for Jannie now, too, there is the complication of them living on opposite sides of the country.

Now, the spice. Oh, the spice. There is a spicy club...that Nick owns, and is where he practices Shibari. There is a scene on top of a building in New York, with people in a helicopter watching. Oh, and then there are scenes where they go and watch others. Definitely not cool Grandma approved.

Sin City Dark is a second-chance romance of sorts as Dr Jannie Larsen, heads to Las Vegas for a conference and unexpectedly reconnects with a former classmate, Nicholas Kent, although she doesn’t recognise him at first. Back in high school, Nick was far from being one of the popular kids, but these days the proverbial frog has definitely transformed into Prince Charming. Now a successful pilot and businessman he’s in Vegas to launch a new club. He remembers Jannie as the girl he never quite found the courage to approach, and to his mind, she’s ‘the one who got away.’ Now he’s not about to waste this second chance with her.

Given the type of club Nick is opening I had expected Sin City Dark to be much steamier than it actually is. Instead, the spice level is surprisingly tame, and for a hero who is supposed to be dominant, Nick gives off far more loveable golden retriever energy than commanding alpha vibes. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, but it isn’t quite what I was expecting. For me, this story also leans much more heavily into angst and emotion than romance. Nick and Jannie’s relationship is very much a slow burn, with plenty of time spent rebuilding their connection, while Jannie’s grief over a devastating loss understandably shapes much of the story. Her ex also has an irritating habit of showing up at the worst possible moments, adding a layer of drama.

This was my first book by this author, and while I enjoyed it well enough, it didn’t really grab me. The romance was sweet and the emotional aspect landed for the most part, but I kept waiting for something to elevate the story, and it never quite got there. This was a solid read, but unlike Jannie did on Nick, not one that left a lasting impression on me.

Second chance with the nerd, yes, please!

Jannie just wants to be away from her ex-husband, who keeps showing up at the most inappropriate times. So, while jumping hotels, she reconnects with Nick, the high school nerd, who isn't so nerdy anymore. Nick sees this as his chance to finally have a shot with her, but tragedy struck Jannie, and she withdrew from everyone. It's now several months later, and Nick's worried, so maybe he doesn't do the best thing by entering her backyard without her permission. But he does get her to go on a vacation with him that helps bring back some of her passion for life, as being a doctor isn't it at the moment. So what happens when their vacation is up, and Jannie has to go back to work while Nick finds out he's now being stationed in Asia rather than Las Vegas?

Nick and Jannie get their happy ending in this standalone book in a series.

This book does have a few triggers to watch for, so please check them before diving in. I was surprised at how light the spice was in this book, as some of what was described for the book seemed glossed over moreso that enacted on the page. That being said, the story between these two characters and learning to love yourself again after what Jannie went through was fantastic. It was hard to read, and I can understand where she was coming from, especially being an OBGYN doctor. I do wonder if Jannie's ex was a problem for her much longer after that last time, or if he finally got the picture that she had moved on and didn't want him any longer. Or if selling the house really did it.

Leigh Iversen delivered such an emotional, heartfelt romance with Sin City Dark. While there is undeniable chemistry between Nick and Jannie, this story is far more about healing, love, and rebuilding after devastating loss than it is about the spice.

Nick has loved Jannie since they were in high school. She never knew that the awkward, acne-covered boy who quietly admired her would grow into the confident, handsome corporate pilot he is today. Years later, fate reunites them in Las Vegas, where Nick is meeting friends to discuss opening an exclusive private club, while Jannie is attending a medical conference.

Jannie is carrying twins from her estranged husband, Blake, who unexpectedly shows up at the conference hoping to win her back. When Nick appears at exactly the right moment, she asks him to kiss her, sending Blake away. What starts as an unexpected reunion quickly turns into an evening filled with laughter, incredible chemistry, and the possibility of something neither of them expected.

Then tragedy strikes.

The miscarriage that follows changes everything. Nick stays by Jannie's side through the worst night of her life, but once she returns home to Florida, she completely withdraws from everyone she loves. Watching her sink into grief and depression was heartbreaking. She isolates herself, barely eats, sleeps through her days, and simply survives.

Nick refuses to give up on her.

When he unexpectedly arrives at her home, he gently encourages her to take leave from work and return to Vegas with him. I loved how patient he was. He never pushed her beyond what she was ready for and always let her set the pace of their relationship. His care wasn't shown through grand gestures but through the little things, cooking for her, making sure she ate, supporting her emotionally, and simply being present when she needed someone most.

I also loved that Jannie has her private pilot's licence, and Nick helps her pursue instrument flying. Watching her slowly rediscover confidence outside of medicine added another layer to her healing journey.

Nick is carrying wounds of his own, with childhood trauma that still haunts him through nightmares. Even Rolf, Jannie's loyal dog, senses when those nightmares are coming and offers comfort. Rolf completely stole my heart and became one of my favourite characters.

The romance is a beautiful slow burn filled with longing, tenderness, and emotional intimacy. The tension between Nick and Jannie is undeniable, but their relationship is built on trust, patience, and mutual healing.

If you're looking for a romance focused on emotional growth, second chances, unwavering devotion, and a hero who quietly proves every day that love is shown through actions.

This is one of those romances that reminds you that sometimes the greatest love stories aren't about passion alone; they're about finding someone who helps you put yourself back together.

**School Crush!**

"Sin City Dark" is the 3rd book in the "A Hot Pilot Billionaire Romance" series. I really enjoyed how Jannie and Nick, who were acquaintances in school, reconnected as adults. Although Nick was a few years older than Jannie and had a huge crush on her during their school days, he never mustered the courage to ask her out. When they run into each other years later in Las Vegas—where Jannie is attending a convention—Nick sees this as a sign that it’s finally his chance to ask her out.

However, a tragedy strikes while they are out together, leaving Jannie devastated. She returns home and falls into a deep depression. Nick, sensing that something is seriously wrong, feels an undeniable pull toward Jannie and recognizes that she needs him just as much as he needs her.

Watching their friendship develop naturally is incredible. They genuinely connect, offer each other support, and begin to open up about their pasts and the demons that haunt them. This emotional growth allows them to explore their relationship in ways Jannie never thought possible, and Nick finds himself trusting her more than he ever thought he could.

The depth of their emotional development throughout this book makes them a fantastic couple. This was my first time reading a book by this author, and I definitely plan to read more. I started with the 3rd book, and it stands well on its own—you don't need to read the first and second books to understand the story.

I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Sin City Dark by Leigh Iversen absolutely wrecked me, in the best, most addictive way.
Jannie Larssen goes to Las Vegas for an innocent, boring-sounding reason: a medical conference. She’s not expecting fate and Vegas to collide.
Former high school classmate Nicholas Kent doesn’t just reappear; he takes over the atmosphere. Pilot and entrepreneur building a high‑end Vegas club, he’s intense, focused, exuding the kind of dangerous magnetism that makes the pages smoke.
The chemistry between them doesn’t simmer; it detonates. Every look, line, and silence is loaded with the weight of what was never said.
What hit me hardest was Jannie’s heartache. It wasn’t small or neat, but soul‑crushing, the kind of pain that lingers in the chest and shapes every choice. Watching her confront that, and watching Nick push and pull around it, made the emotional stakes feel raw and impossibly real.

There’s also a delicious ticking secret under everything, raising the risk and making the attraction feel sharper.
This book is more than steam and sparks; it’s an emotional takeover wrapped in neon Vegas glamour.
If you love intense second‑chance-ish romances (where one person had a crush and the reunion is everything), high tension, and characters who carry real, painful history, pick this up!

The Audio of this book was absolute *Chef's Kiss*, it was amazing.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly recommended. ❤️🔥

This was my first book by Leigh Iversen and I thoroughly enjoyed it!!

What can I say about Nick? Just swoon. He has literally been in love with Jannie since high school and when he saw his chance to make her his, he took it. He is literally the ideal man!!! Literally zero red flags! And for someone that collects red flags like infinity stones, this was a nice breather to find just a perfect man you would actually want in real life. Like who wouldn’t want a smart, ripped, pilot, who more than dabbles in BDSM, specifically bondage?! Like I would’ve dropped to my knees and married him right there hahaha.

Poor Jannie, she has a super toxic ex and goes through one of the most traumatic experiences a woman could go through. Her grief during that time was so understandable. I’m just so happy Nick showed up when he did and started to help her heal. The only issue I had with Jannie was that she wasn’t as open to everything Nick enjoyed as I would’ve wanted her to be. I feel like that’s the least she can do especially since Nick literally gives her the world and is willing to change whatever she doesn’t like. But the ending did make my heart so so happy!

Please check your content warnings.

Nick and Jannie bumped into each other at a conference event that Jannie was attending. She's surprised at how hot Nick turned out to be! Nick has always been attracted to Jannie since high school but never acted upon it. However, the timing again wasn't right as Jannie is dealing with an ex husband and pregnancy that sadly didn't make it. So if that's a trigger for you, you should not read the book.
He reaches out when he couldn't move on and making sure she's fine after her miscarriage. He helps her throughout the book. I would say this falls for a golden retriever/black cat type of trope. Kind of interesting considering he's a dominant in his sex club. Their sexual chemistry is hot, but is that enough to maintain their relationship?
While I love Nick, I am so and so with Jannie but that can't be helped when she went through loss, finding herself with what she wants to do. Towards the end she opens up to him more and gives him what he needs.
I didn't care for the telling of the other woman that Nick is sexual in, could have done without that, or him seeing many women before he stops and realize it's not working for him.
I would have liked to see Nick dominating Jannie more, but it's like he's fine with whatever she tells him to do. I'll be checking out the other 2 books before this. This book can be read as a standalone.

Sin City Dark by Leigh Iversen

Plot: I really enjoyed this one. I loved watching Jannie and Nick reconnect after knowing each other back in high school. Their reunion felt natural instead of forced, and I found myself invested in seeing where their relationship would go. The tragedy that happens early on adds so much emotional weight to the story, and from there it becomes just as much about healing as it is about romance.

Characters: Jannie and Nick were definitely the highlight for me. Nick's high school crush turning into an adult obsession was sweet without feeling over the top, and I loved that he recognized Jannie needed someone in her corner. Watching their friendship grow into something deeper was my favorite part of the book. They leaned on each other, shared their pasts, and helped each other face their demons, which made their relationship feel genuine and earned.

Spice: 🌶️🌶️🌶️ The spice was good, but for me it took a backseat to the emotional connection between Jannie and Nick. Their chemistry was built through trust and vulnerability first, which made the romance even more enjoyable.

Ending: Everything wrapped up nicely, and I finished the book feeling satisfied. This was my first book by Leigh Iversen, and even though it's the third in the series, it worked perfectly as a standalone. I'll definitely be checking out more from this author.

I love a good glow up and this hot af pilot has been pining for over 15 years without realising it. This book does go through many tough topics, such as miscarriage, so please check the triggers and put your mental health first. This book was adorable in many ways, with a feisty fmc who refuses to let the broody but cute inside mmc into her heart. But this man spoils her like he has a PhD in yearning and I am all for it. They both have trauma but become each others safe place, and it was beautiful. I also loved all the smut scenes and how he hated giving up power but would let her dominate him because she liked it. That was truly the highlight of this book for me, the exchange of power and the way it portrayed the beauty of BDSM was spectacular. I grew so attached to Jannie and Nick that I was crying during the epilogue and didn’t even realise. I may have devoured this book in one sitting but it didn’t stop me from connecting with these characters. I enjoyed this emotional masterpiece and give it a 4.5/5

I absolutely loved every single part of this book! It’s book 3 in the series, but the first one that I read since I had the pleasure of receiving an ARC and I am kicking myself in the butt for not reading the first 2 books before starting this one because it was so good!

Nick is literally every girls dream guy. Tall, dark, handsome, talented, hard working, loving, and so supportive of everyone’s dreams. If there’s something he can do to make them come true, he’s doing it. And when the girl he has been crushing on since high school swooped back into his life, he was not missing his shot again.

Jannie was preparing to become a single mom to twins when she ran into Nick and instantly felt the connection and pull towards him. The scrawny boy from high school was now an incredibly handsome and successful pilot. She agreed to dinner with him and then the unthinkable happened. But Nick was determined to help her through her loss, find herself, reclaim her happiness, and make all of her dreams come true. And he more than delivered. He loved her exactly how she needed and more.

There was a whole lot going on here. I liked the concept, it was so cool to see her working on her pilot qualifications on the side of practicing medicine. But it seems like there were so many things happening (no spoilers, it’s out tomorrow!) that it turned into a slower than usual, long read for me. 4.25 ⭐️

They’re being said I always like a darker romance and the small portions of BDSM were interesting. I can’t say too much because I don’t want to spoil anything.🌶️🌶️🌶️

Overall, I did enjoy reading this! I wouldn’t mind reading the other two prior in the series, I just would be prepared for a lengthier read. The family is super interesting. I just feel like I ran a marathon with the amount of different things happening.

Idk what it is about this book but at times it was a struggle to read at times. I liked both Nick and Jannie but I felt it dragged towards the middle of the book .
This book starts out sad but then we see what I'm assuming is the real Jannie. She's a doctor but losing her passion. A trip to Vegas for a medical conference and unexpected meet up with a guy who went to school with changes her life and how she sees things for her life. She comes from a family of pilots and she went a different course. With the help of Nick, she finds her passion for flying and well him lol.
Nick was an absolute gem! He was sooo good with Jannie. So patient and loving but when it came to showing her his true self, she flipped the pages and he found himself loving not having the control. What I loved about him is that he knew she was hesitant about that side and didn't push her. He went at her speed and what she wanted.
Th book did pick up and was quite good. There was so steamy scenes in it as well.

Nick and Jannie’s story was so good!

I loved them together and enjoyed the emotional journey woven throughout their romance. Their chemistry was strong, but there was also more beneath the surface as they reconnected and navigated who they had become since knowing each other in high school.

Jannie was the character I connected with most because she was finding herself. After going through so many things in my own life, I feel like I’m finding myself again too. That personal connection made her journey especially meaningful to me.

Sometimes finding yourself isn’t about becoming the person you were before everything happened. It’s about learning who you are now, and I loved seeing that reflected in Jannie’s story.

Nick and Jannie were so good together, and I enjoyed watching their second chance unfold alongside the emotional growth, heat, and secrets surrounding them.

Jannie is a medical doctor that’s in Vegas for a medical conference. She runs into Nick, a pilot, that is as hot as can be. But also the nerd when they went to high school together. He’s always had feelings for her and this time he wasn’t going to be shy about it. It was fun seeing these two reconnect. But Jennie was also dealing with an ex husband that didn’t know got to take no for an answer. To top that off, she was dealing with a tragic time in her life and just wasn’t doing well. Nick was worried about her so he convinced her to go in a trip with him. She agreed, and the two had the best time ever. He was sweet and understanding, caring, and of course charming the entire time. He didn’t push it rush anything with her. What an amazing man. But when the time was right, he went for it. And these two came together in the sweetest way.
I absolutely adored these two. Both of them were so wonderful and connected so well. This was a really great story.

Jannie + Nick

Sin City Dark brings us the romance of Jannie and Nick. When we first meet Jannie she is making bad decisions with her ex. Or rather her ex is trying to push her to continue to make bad decisions with him. Thankfully, she is pretty firm in not wanting him around. She runs into a high school... I wouldn't say they were friends but they did go to school together. Nick. He has had a glow up and she is very interested.

Nick has secrets and honestly, I am glad they explored it together and had the same views on it. Jannie slid her way into his life and him into hers. That is why they worked so well together. I did have moments where I thought she wouldn't be 'ok' with the lifestyle or run away (which she did at one point) but overall she was open minded after she was educated.

They weaved in and out of each others lives and I thought at one point they'd never get together permanently because she had to go back home. But it's a love story of course.

I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily reviewing.

4.5 stars! Jannie is in Las Vegas for a medical convention. Her brother owns a hotel and airline there but she is rather independent. When she meets an old high school friend at the hotel bar, she is blown away with how Nick has changed from high school and is now a full-time pilot. Jannie is going through quite a lot with a divorce and her questioning if medicine is for her. The connection she feels for Nick is strong and instantaneous. Little does she know Nick has had a crush on her since high school, but she was too young then as she was in an accelerated program and only fifteen. Now the steam is off the charts between the two of them. This story is full of emotions and some really good twists and turns that keep you reading to the last page.

I voluntarily wrote this review from reading an advanced copy of this book.

Sin City Dark by Leigh Iversen delivers a contemporary romance that blends sizzling chemistry, emotional vulnerability, and the glamour of Las Vegas into a story that was difficult to put down. Set against the backdrop of high-stakes careers and luxurious Sin City nightlife, we are introduced to the FMC Dr. Jannie Larssen, a doctor that went to Las Vegas for a medical conference and the MMC Nick Kent, a pilot and entrepreneur. One of the things that I enjoyed about this novel was its magnetic lead couple. Their attraction is immediate, but Iversen doesn't rely on chemistry alone. Overall, Sin City Dark was a captivating romance that combines heat, heart, and plenty of emotional tension.

I received an ARC copy from Luna Literacy. Thank you so much for giving me a chance to read and voluntarily review this novel!

Jannie, she’s been through a lot though with her narcissistic ex-husband, unexpected circumstances and loss. Nick might be able to bring her out of her funk but can he steal her heart?

The spice is 🔥 and the push and pull for dominance between these two is hot. Those spicy scenes were 🤌🏻

This book can be read as a standalone and is available now for your reading pleasure 😉 Please read the trigger warnings.

I am completely obsessed with Nick Kent! He is all the green flags and I am here for it. We love a man a man who anticipates needs and Nick is THAT MAN! I also love a man who loves animals. Seeing Nick and Rolf(the German Shepherd) become best pals made my heart so happy! The way Nick loves and support Jannie is amazing. I love Jannie she sweet and a little sassy but I loved watching her chase her dreams and fall in love with Nick! The spice was definitely spicin’ in this one!
But I just have to get this off my chest! Blake can kick rocks! Jannie definitely upgraded!

If you’re into audiobooks Savannah Thomas and James Cassidy were absolutely perfect in bringing Jannie and Nick to life. Brandon Francis was a nice little bonus as Blake!

Sin City Dark is the third story in the Sin City series. It is well-written and an entertaining story.

Jamie runs into her ex-husband while at a medical conference. When he refuses to leave her alone, she sees an old friend, Nick. Jamie knew him in high school. He has changed a lot and is now a muscular man.

Nick works as a pilot and had always had a crush on Jamie when they were in school. Once he sees her he sees that she is even more beautiful now that they are older. He wants to take his chance with her.

I loved how Jamie needed someone and Nick was there for her. I loved how he had always liked her when they were in school. Their relationship is built on a friendship first which is always important. I look forward to the next story.

Thank you to the author for the advanced copy.

Been to Vegas? ✔️ Worked in healthcare? ✔️ Family in aviation? ✔️ Then imagine opening a book and finding all three staring back at you… talk about feeling personally targeted! 😂

My first book by Leigh Iversen, and it definitely won’t be my last.

Don’t let the hot pilot and BDSM romance fool you—this one carries some genuinely heavy trauma. Think less “come fly with me” and more “Grey’s Anatomy emotional damage… with a very satisfying recovery.”

Nick and Jannie’s second-chance romance had me rooting for them from the start. Their chemistry is intense, the emotional healing feels earned, and I loved watching them choose each other through the darkness.

Turns out I like a little trauma with my BDSM… who knew? 😅 A steamy, emotional read with a well-deserved HEA.

This is the third book in the Sin City series, and the tropes sounded so promising! Nerd-to-hunk transformation, school crush turned second chance, a hot pilot, BDSM, and a sex club, I couldn’t sign up fast enough.

I really loved Nick; he was the absolute best. Jannie wasn’t my favorite character. Even though she had been through a lot, I wish she had treated Nick the way he deserved from the beginning.

I really enjoyed the story, but I struggled with the third-person POV. I always find it harder to connect with books written that way. I pushed through because I know Leigh is such a talented writer and I knew the story itself would be worth it, but I have to admit I took a few breaks while reading.

The spice was definitely hot! I’m not a fan of FemDom, but if that’s your thing, you’re definitely going to enjoy this book.

This is the third book in this impressive series, and this is Jannie and Nick’s story.
Jannie is fiercely independent, and she is not in Las Vegas for fun, she is there for a medical conference, while Nick is a pilot and entrepreneur, who is there to party. Fate destines Jannie and Nick to cross paths, as they new each other in high school. When tragedy strikes, Nick is there for Jannie.
This is a well written emotional roller coaster, with tragedy, loss, grief, tension, secrets, friends / lovers, obsession, second chances, healing, undeniable chemistry, and love, which leads to an entertaining, and heartfelt addictive page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this author in the future.

This is the third book in the Sin City series. Jannie was in Vegas for a medical conference she wasn’t looking for fun. However, she meets up with Nick who is now a pilot. These two knew each other in high school. Nick had a big crush on Jannie and in fact he is still smitten with her. Now Nick is in Vegas to have fun. Now Jannie is really at a crossroads in her life. She’s getting divorced and is questioning whether or not she wants to stay in the medical field. This second chance romance is a slow burn with some sexual tension. Nick really wanted things to work out between them and he really hung in there and supported Jannie. It was a great story with a lot of emotional tension and some twists and turns.
