Brass & Sass is a super cute graphic novel stemming from a popular webtoon. It's a perfect blend of quirky characters and beautiful illustrations. This one will definitely have a following with a variety of graphic novel readers and I can't wait to share this one with my high school students.
Brass & Sass, Volume 1 was a cute graphic novel. I liked Gobran's artwork. The art style was charming, and the characters' emotions came through really well. I also liked that the art style felt neutral and wasn't overly stylized. The storyline was interesting, and there was enough going on to keep me interested. There are two love triangles, and I'm curious to see how things will develop. I liked Camilla's character. She was passionate and driven, and her reactions to things, especially Victor, were funny. I enjoyed the little glimpses we got into Victor and the side characters' lives. My only complaint was that the ending felt a little abrupt. I flew through this book and I'm looking forward to reading Volume 2. Thank you to NetGalley and Ink Pop for the ARC.
I received an ARC of Brass & Sass, Volume 1 and leave this review voluntarily.
The main character of Brass & Sass is amazing. I would love to be her extremely outgoing self that throws her everything into her passions. I also like that the male main character has a solid backstory. It helps put the conflict into perspective.
