They say love conquers all. I know that vengeance destroys.

Jeremy put the gun in my hand and told me to shoot. I let him live.

Now, the repercussions of that choice are staring me straight in the face. Rose, Hugh, and Charles, all deep underground, all shackled with collars.

Dear God, what have I done?

Author's Note:

Uncovering You 10: The Finale was the original conclusion to the series, told from both Lilly's and Jeremy's perspectives.

However, after I saw your response to the end, I couldn't leave the story there. I wrote a follow-up novella titled Uncovering You 11: The Lost Chapter, covering events fourteen months after the conclusion of The Finale.

A Ridiculous Waste of Time

I wish I had never started reading this book. It should have ended at about part five. It's like the author was completely directionless. I kept waiting for it to get better ... it kept getting more ridiculous. The plot and character arcs circled back upon themselves about three times.
As for the ending, well, it didn't!
This segment led us off into a ridiculous wild goose chase involving a kidnapping, bad guys turned good turning bad yet again, the sudden appearance of a twin (pointless cliche twist), a villain named Esteban (soooo cliche!), and secret superscience (oooh).
Plus, Jeremy's still a controlling, arrogant, dishonest, manipulative dick! I don't care how many times he expounds about how much be loooves his Lily-flower (UGH!).

So save yourself the trouble and money, here's what happens
******SPOILER ALERT******
Lily is kidnapped & given a drug that makes her schizophrenic like Paul. She has to be dosed with an antidote regularly. Jeremy rescues her & his twin, who is, conveniently, a genius doctor, tries to cure her & fails. Delusional, she starves herself nearly to death (again), but the twin comes up with a new cure just in the nick of time (cause the first attempt worked out so hot). According to brain wave scans, the procedure, which is not described at all, works. However, Lily, ever contrary, inexplicably remains comatose. Jeremy finally decides to call Lily's mother, who votes to pull the plug, but leaves it to Jeremy to actually do the thing. But, wait! A miracle! Just as he literally has his hand on the electrical chord (cause that's how it's done, not with an off switch or anything) her eyelids flutter. THAT'S IT.
No, really, that's it. Fluttering eyelids. Nothing else. After 10 segments & a year and a half of being jerked around we get fluttering f-ing eyelids?!
So, yeah. My verdict: SCREW YOU, SCARLETT. AND FRANKLY, MY DEAR, I DON'T GIVE A DAMN!

Oh how I hated this book.
Oh how I am going to rave on and on about this book's horrendous plot.
This is how the book made me feel:

I wanted to do this to Stonehart in UC1 and this is what I still want to do that asshole even now:

I cannot even begin to describe how much i regret reading this series. My brain kept telling me no when I started UC1 but I ignored its warnings since I loved UC1 so much but oh how I regret it now....
To summarize this series, the author started writing a brilliant plot, wrote 4 parts, went to sleep for 10 years, woke up and wrote UC5 whilst forgetting half of what she wrote in the previous 4 parts, went to sleep again for 50 years, woke and wrote the next 5 parts while completely forgetting every single thing she wrote in the previous parts including the fact that her main hero had abusive tendencies and then went on to write UC11 to cover up all her mistakes (which she failed in).

For me, I think the problem arose from the fact that the author kept denying Stonehart's true qualities. She fruitlessly tried to convince herself throughout the last 5 parts that Stonehart was caring and gently even when he broke Lilly's arm, slapped her, yelled at her and tested her.
Then the author went on to try to convince herself of Lilly's strength even when she started her long inner monologues about how Stonehart's abuse was justified
That, I think, was the point where I decided UC series is a load of crap.
It is one thing to admitting abuse is wrong but giving statements about how the abuse was something you can ignore? Yea, no. Nuh-uh. Never.

I think it's better to just start quoting from the book to show everyone how this book has every capability of being a total BS story:

First there's the whole "lilly-should-be-the-company's-new-CEO" BS that the author put us through for I don't know how many chapters. Considering the fact that Stonehart ends up returning to his precious company, I think this was a total waste of time.

Then the author comes up with the "brilliant" idea of getting Lilly kidnapped and thus begins the looooooooooooooooooooooooooooong and boring and drab and bland as fuck story about how Lilly spends her time in captivity. I was shocked to discover this wasn't the worst part. Oh no.

I'm asked to describe the room I'm in. Over and over, every day the same. Okayy.....so why does she have to do it every day? What's the point? Did Jeremy ask for a daily update on her? And since every video is the same, is he even getting any new info from it? if they wanted to show she's still alive, why not do it weekly? It would have been more terrifying for Stonehart anyways.......Am I really the only one who saw this?

Rose tells Lilly she thought Hugh was dead since Stonehart told her that his ship sunk in the middle of the Atlantic . Is there a contest going on of who believes the dumbest stuff? Lilly belives Stonehart's abuse was OKAY and Rose believes Hugh drowned...in the ocean....in the middle of nowhere......

Here's how Lilly justifies her abuse:
The things Jeremy did to me when he was Stonehart were at least done with some goal in mind

I can't even....

....hatred such as I've never experienced, even with Jeremy, even when he was Stonehart, burns through my body
Ohhkay......so I should believe that you never hated the guy who raped you straight for weeks, starved you, kept you in the dark and did horrible things to you this much? Seriously?

Rose is the worst kind of human
Yes, yes and your abusive Stonehart is a knight in shining armor, right? Wow.

No, I've never experienced anything that can come close to this with Stonehart
Okay now the author seems to have sensed I would be skeptical about Lilly's hatred to she said this just to convince me.....but nuh-uh...still no

The weeks turn into a month
God, I don't know how or why Stonehart let her stay a captive when he claims to LOVE her.........he had trillions and he couldn't invest some money to find her? He can forge death certificates and he can't find her? Really? How did the author think I would believe this BS??

There's my picture on the front page with a 10 million dollar reward

The guy creates the world's (supposedly) best smart-phone and creates technology to fake videos and he decides to give a fucking advertisement for finding lilly? Really? How bad can this tale get?
(To answer my question: oh it gets badder)

He points at every corner of the room
there is a camera in EVERY fucking corner in that room......why were there four cameras for a single room? I guess I'll never know

Okay so to make the story worse, we find out Esteban sent a letter to Jeremy through Hugh and since Stonehart didn't take it seriously, Lilly ends up being his captive (#SorryNotSorry for giving spoilers)
I am not even going to ask why Esteban gave it to Hugh when he should know Hugh hates Stonehart.....yea the author seems to have lost it by now

While I was limited in range by the collar, before, the sunroom gave the illusion of space
So now we're back to justifying all the abuse that Stonehart put Lilly through.

Then Lilly is given 10 days to chose whether she takes the pills willingly or not. Don't even get me started on this ridiculous idea. Why did they make her wait when they were going to force her anyways in the end? Oh right. I know why. So that we get 10 days worth of boring as fuck stuff about how Lilly "fights"....yea.....this really is getting badder

And then Stonehart gets an email from some guy named "E" and every fucking person in the UC world should know that E can only be Esteban considering the fact that his email went on and on about his fucking company so it seemed quite shitty that Stonehart felt proud to have figured out E is Esteban. By this point, the author seemed to have decided to write without thinking. Besides, considering the fact that even though he knew it was Esteban, he still couldn't fucking find Lilly so yea......stupidity at its best

I spit on him. he hits me. I cry out Dear Lord, woman, either don't spit on him or don't cry like a baby when he hits you. Urgh.

Esteban blindly trusts Hugh and I can't believe he thought his plan would work.

Moments later, I come to.
how does lilly suddenly know the accurate time? Given her history, she should think it's been a year.

Rose suggest Lilly should have an anchor to know whether she's dreaming or not. Ladies and gentleman, the author has officially started ripping off of other stories....In this case, she decided to copy the whole concept of Inception movie.......wow...just wow

Btw, how the fuck did Jeremy ever get Rose to be a maid? How? Like HOW? She hated him all along..then why be his maid?? Don't give me the psychology crap since Rose says in the end she only pretended to be on his side....so why clean his toilets??

Stonehart: I have to be sure you are you Ummm so she could be some one other than Lilly??.....

Oh and then Lilly's captors let her read a letter Stonehart sent ......couldn't they just tell her he's coming??

Okay and then he says he's coming on the 10th....why the fuck did he leave her there for even a single day when he knew she was being brutally tortured? Yea yea i know he had been planning and all but since his plan consisted of bombing the place and electrocuting his arse (for God knows what reason, I am so not buying any BS the author justified this with), I don't know why he made Lilly wait......unless he's heartless (which he actually is but oh no..let everyone believe he's KIND and GENEROUS)

Then Hugh gives her some bullshit about them being late and I can't say anything except: why not leave early, you duffers? Is the author now inserting pointless dialogues too?

Insert a huge pointless chapter on how Stonehart gets electrocuted and Lilly yells and there's bombing and Hugh and Rose kill themselves and bang.....the story has come full circle from its fucking ride of merry-go-bullshit...

"I cannot help you recovers unless you listen to me", says Dr. Telfair. Anger starts to build within me. Who does this man think he is? Ummmm your bloody doctor? Are we really going to start this whole BS where Lilly is nice to Stonehart her abuser and awful to her doc.?? WHY?!

Oh and then she has sex with Stonehart despite Telfair warning her and I can't even begin to describe how much I hated this part...doesn't stonehart know this? Why did he have sex with her anyways? Answer: because he's fucking heartless and it's fucking stupid to say he loves her..

Does anyone have a xanax?

Here's the funniest dialogue of the entire series:

"You know my attitude towards men who raise their voices-especially around women"
Hahahhahaha this is what Stonehart says to Lilly.

Oh and here's another one:
This is what Stonehart says to Lilly

"I fear the return of the monster in your eyes"

Here's the most illogical part of the series: Stonehart blocked Lilly's calls because he had a hunch she was in danger......
LOL
considering the fact he never saw her kidnapping coming, I'd like to put forward the idea that this was a last minute explanation by the author for Stonehart's assholic behavior since well.....she needed to cover up his abusive nature

Here's another pathetic part: Stonehart decides to starve himself for weeks instead of going immediately to rescure Lilly...God knows what the author was thinking by then....

Enter the whole fucking next half of the book about Lilly obsession with her fucking hair and we can conclude that UC 10 was one of the worst thing I have ever read....a small tip to the author: you want to make us relate to someone? Read Sloth by Ella james.....that author managed to describe pain, loneliness and the edge of insanity in a single chapter .....and she made it worth our time too

We also get to see Stonehart being reckless again when he gives Lilly wine even though she shouldn't be drinking......by this point, I don't get who'll be convinced this book is any good

We also get boring sex scenes....
oh and some drab shit by Stonehart: i won't let anything bad happen to you
She's close to insanity, hairless and abused to full extent..what bad can happen to her now?

The author tries to convince us her "brain injection" idea is awesome by giving a weird screwdriver example. oh how I hate this story...

Enter the last quarter of the book about Lilly's boring as fuck preparation for her surgery and UC 10 is (finally) coming to a close....
We get some long stupid panic attacks, a few blackouts and weird yelling and the author thinks this is enough
Imagine Lilly had never been injected by Hugh and esteban.......UC10 would be so much shorter.....and better.....but oh no.....this is a money-hungry world and long books sell.....

We also witness a particularly awful scene where Lilly is strapped down even though she is scratching herself..yea strap her but at least tell her she's scratching. Why keep mum about it when she's yelling?

I sort of surfed through the last few chapters. I had decided that was enough for me. I already knew the author had realized her blunder of a story and written UC11 to cover up her mistakes but how can you mend a broken thing with mere tape and glue? it's still broken.

In the end, the author promises to write even longer books and boy, am I NOT looking forward to them.
*Sigh*
how I wish the author hadn't decided to write longer UC parts for more money.....
Oh how I wish that

Just When You Thought It Couldn't Get More Twisted

Where do I even start with this one? There were too many twists and turns to keep up with. My head was spinning long before the halfway point.

For the second time in as many years, Lilly is kidnapped by a deranged psycho. Really, what are the odds!?! Jeremy's enemies decide to use Lilly as a tool for their revenge. Raped, beaten and drugged, her existence is very similar to her early experiences with Stonehart.

As a result of the inhumane treatment she suffers during her captivity, Lilly is forever changed. It seems that Jeremy may have finally gotten what he set out to attain in the beginning. She is truly a broken woman. Enlisting the help of his brother, Jeremy fights to bring back the woman he loves and save her from her own poisoned mind.

This book was action-packed and suspenseful, but lacked the appeal that earlier books in this series had for me. A lot of time was focused on unimportant details that didn't necessarily add to the story, such as the papers on Hugh's desk. Then, pivotal scenes were addressed very superficially, like Lilly's rescue.

The end result was that it felt rushed and anticlimactic. The same can be said for the ending. I felt like the author just couldn't decide on one ending and commit to it. As a result, the ending felt kind of wishy washy.

All things considered, I really liked this series. Although I wasn't as enthralled with this final book as I was with earlier books in the series, it was still a pretty good read and I'm glad I read the series.

Okay. Wow. I'm not even sure where the fuck to start.

First of all, I read through this ENTIRE series in like 30 hours.

It started off intriguing.

Then I started seeing WAY too much familiarity to Consequences by Aleatha Romig.

Then it continued to be practically the same God damn story.

But I continued.

Because despite being practically plagiarism, it at least kept me vaguely fucking interested. 3/4 stars interested. I'm not one to DNF and I was too invested at this point.

So here I am, finally getting to the last motherfucking book.

It pissed me off from the START because of Lilly's EXTREMELY

Oh but no, I continued reading this RUBBISH until the very bitter fucking end.

And this ending?

You know what? Fuck you Scarlett Edwards.

Not only did you PLAGIARIZE about 75% of this entire fucking series from the Consequences series, but then you end this bullshit like that?

What the ever loving fuck is wrong with you?

Look, I'm usually a VERY nice reviewer. I don't LIKE to be the bad guy. At all.

But from one writer to another- you suck.

Come up with your OWN story, and then if you DO choose to completely rip off another person's story, at least have the decency to have a halfway decent fucking ending.

Fuck you. And this whole fucking series.

Pointless.

I've been reading this series for over a year now, I've followed it from the beginning, giving it chance after chance, hoping that it'll be worth it in the end.

It wasn't.
I wish I could get my money and time back that I've put into this, or listened to my gut instinct in the beginning to have cut loses and not continued with the series.

As far as ending going, this wasn't one. I feel like the author is mocking us readers. It was terrible, the storyline made no sense (maybe that was the point, who knows). It was all gibberish, felt rushed and no one was redeemed.
In fact, I started to hate Lilly and her consistent pep talks. It certainly felt like 's Edwards hated her.
And Jeremy... I have no words. I don't like him and I hate him. I have nothing for Jeremy. He could of been replaced half way through the series, and it wouldn't have affected the boring storyline.
There was no love in this book, or desire. Just abuse and drug experimentation.
Everyone needs some semblance of a happy ending, even if it's not in a classic way of marriage and 2.5 kids and white picket fence.
But there is nothing in this one. Edwards uses the term "epilogue" fast and loose.

If you haven't started this series, don't. It's not worth it.
If you have, cut your loses, your not missing out on anything.

This book deserved every one of its 4 stars!! It was a crazy, incredible journey and definitely the best book out of the entire series!!

After being free from captivity and falling in love with her captor, Lilly is captured again... by Jeremy's enemies. And what she suffered while Jeremy's prisoner was a walk in the park in comparison. She was brutalized by his enemies. I can't think of a better word to describe what she endured. It was brutal, sadistic, cruel, inhumane... And the author wrote the scenes so powerfully that once again I felt like I was witnessing it instead of reading it.

In this book we get to read Jeremy's pov finally and it was amazing. The growth of this man made him that much more wonderful to me. I already loved him. This just made me appreciate him more. His love for Lilly knew no bounds and the lengths he went through to rescue her, both during her captivity and the resulting aftermath, were astounding. The resulting "craziness" told from Lilly's pov were written so eloquently that I really could imagine her losing her mind. It seemed that real.

I'm just glad that there's a book 11. Thank you very much for that Scarlett Edwards because if not for that I would be stalking your a** with some crazy messages for having the audacity to end this series with a damn eyelid flutter.

You see, I've spent a lot of money on Miss.Edwards and her series. I saw the third one..it was the first I saw actually. I was so excited, thought it was a trilogy, didn't read of the details..just saw the beautiful covers. Only to realise each book was so incredibly short and Jeremy was a dick..mind the language.

We reach the end. Lilly has been raped, kidnapped, starved and tortured in previous books.

Oh! In this one she's raped, kidnapped, starved and tortured. Oooh, and don't forget the schizophrenia..yup..

After this book was set back for a few weeks I was thinking "Dear gosh, give me this now omg this ending is gonna be epic!"

It ends with her eyelids fluttering..yes fluttering.
Do they live together forever and have lots of babies?
What happens to Charles?
What about Lilly's friends?
Atticus?
Jeremy?
DID THEY EVEN LOVE EACH OTHER OKAY?!

I just..nope.. I needed something more than eyelids. I needed an ending.

That ending!! Take my heart, just take it!!

I don't understand, four books ago I wanted to scoop Stoneheart's eyes out with a spoon and now I'm swooning over his devotion to Lilly. What the actual fuck!? I can't believe I actually feel sorry for him. There's something very wrong with me...

But yeah, 5 major mind fuckery stars.

READ ON KU.

I'm reading the entire series. Mixed feelings. At first, it feels like a read for beginners in Dark Romance, but as it continues, it's a bit more darker just for the sake of being dark (I feel). This and the final book are the darkest even the dove part was mild. If you eat meat, THAT part shouldn't shock you - if it did, then you're delusional. Even if it was her pet for a bit.

Won't rate this series. I may not have enjoyed it that much, but somebody else might like this series. This is my personal opinion, and I don't mean to offend anyone.

Loved the other books in the series but this one just ruined them all. Hated the drug that made her crazy..... Hated how much of the book was taken up of her torture and trying to find a cure. To me this series was about her and Jeremy and I just felt book 10 was not about that. But most of all I hated the fact that the book was still left with the feeling of it being unfinished. Yes her eyes flutter but what happens next? Is she the same? Do her and Jeremy live together forever? I just felt like most of book 10 didn't go with the rest of the series and it was spent with just fluff, words, problems that couldn't be solved, and again with her insane...... I just didn't like it at all. I understand it has to end somehow and I don't know if any ending would have left me completely satisfied due to how this series started. However I do like this author and I am not any type of writer so this is just my opinion.

I can't even put into words my emotions after reading this...... just omg!!! This story has been one hell of a rollercoaster and part 10 alone completely blew me away, the highs, lows and everything else inbetween literally pulled me from one emotion to another.

I don't think a book has ever left me a weeping mess before but this one, for the last 15% I've gone from a single tear to full on kindle throwing in a heartbeat!!

Loved every single emotion grabbiing page and by God this book was just phenominal right up until the bitter end.

Enjoyed the beginning and the middle but the last half was some what over the top weird confusing with all the drugs and schizophrenia stuff.
Hugh and Rose got off too lightly for my liking after what they did to Jeremy and Lily.
I really enjoyed the very end because Lily finally gets her revenge on Mr Stonehart even though she might not know it. At the end of the day that was what she set out to do all along in this series, seek revenge.
Glad its come to an end even though their was a slight glimmer at the end of some more maybe one day.

Oh my god this book! This series! I can't believe it's actually over. Scarlett has done such a great job with this series, I know some people had a problem with how many parts there were but personally if there were another 10 parts to come I would still be just as hooked. It was a great ending, I love that it was kind of left open so the reader could decide for themselves what happens. Scarlett Edwards has certainly found herself a fan for life!

I don't know how else to put this, so I will make it simple - for you and for me: no, no, no, no NO.
Just "NO", Ms Scarlett Edwards!

What was the point of this? It's a complete clusterfuck! It ends on nothing, it's like you didn't even write the whole story because we know NOTHING!
"THE END"? I feel like the author herself was tired of this serial and just wanted to put an end to it - yeah, I wanted it to end, too, but I was sure hoping for a decent finale.

Now, in retrospect, if you'd ask me if I'd recommend this serial, I'd answer with a HELL NO! because you'll be hooked on the first 6 installments just to be kicked repeatedly in the gut and disappointed by the whole story.

Harsh? Absolutely not. I'm pretty sure we all hate cliffhangers in normal circumstances, but personally I think there's a strong chance we'll all turn into killers if there's a cliffhanger at the end of a series you know won't be resurrected ever. Yeah, Uncovering You ends on a cliffhanger, it ends in the air. Lilly's in a coma, Jeremy's about to pull the plug because there has been no response for more than a year, when suddenly there's an eyelid flutter. THE END.

That's so not okay.

Ok where to start I loved this series from the start I loved this book I have slept on it I was so disappointed at the ending last night till I lay there for ages thinking about it and you know what I think the ending although it isn't what everyone wonted I know it wasn't my Kind of Ending. I wanted a HEA but after thinking about it I suppose it is Kind of .It is up to interpretation. The Last Line is a positive sign that everything will be ok Yes; maybe more closure would have been better.

I also couldn't see how else it could have ended as Jeremy and Lily story wasn't all hearts and flowers! Their relationship was very complex. I just would have loved some closure after everything Lily had been through Maybe Scarlett could in the future do Novella to see what happened after the ending not building my hopes up but it would be nice.

Loved the Ending. Totally worth it.

I usually stray from reviews, but I feel like I should write one to defend Edward's work, since everybody else but me seems to hate the ending.

I thought the ending was perfect. I saw it coming from the first book, with the prologue. So, since I have a pretty sick mind, I kept reading to find out how Lilly would be broken to such a horrible point. I saw her death as revenge for Jeremy, and also a way to free herself from suffering. I didn't see her living and staying with Jeremy, even after he gives up his job, as happiness--time and time again we see how volatile his nature is. He definitely has some psychotic problems himself, and an incredibly abusive nature. The fact he blames Lilly so many times for his own faults shows this. I think the faltering of his personality when Lilly told him about Paul, right before the end, shows that he can easily slip back into Stonehart, and he'll continue to hurt her if their time together stays on.

At the end of the book, Jeremy subconsciously, or perhaps consciously, breaks Lilly's mind and makes her too utterly dependent on him and his doctors. She can't free herself from him, yet if she stays on, he'll continue to hurt her. Edwards hinted at this previously. Jeremy told Lilly her only way out is suicide, which she does eventually. Her death seems like a happier outcome to me. It's more salvation than suffering.

Edwards is incredibly proficient at presenting a stream of consciousness. Especially from Book 5, we see Lilly's mind fragmenting, and the warning from Atticus about her having mental side effects from the collar hints further about her craziness. I felt that if Lilly didn't go insane by the end, the entire way Edwards writes her novel would not make sense. As I read Book 5 to Book 10 in one sitting, I felt myself going insane together with Lilly--possibly because I read from 5AM to 4PM the next afternoon and pulled a very unhealthy all-nighter. But her character arc, albeit not a very positive one, was done very well.

And Jeremy shouldn't deserve Lilly--remember all the crazy shit he did? Plus, all the ideas Rose got in the first half of this book stemmed from him. The way he caused his own downfall and got exactly what he wanted in the beginning is beautiful, although in a very sick way.

A HEA at this point would seem artificial, and forced. After all that foreshadowing and abuse, which many didn't pick up, unfortunately, a HEA simply wouldn't feel right. And given how broken the two characters are, a HEA relationship is simply messed up, and if dragged on, would end pretty badly, if not the exact same way.

I loved this entire series, and I do think it was money well spent. It was expensive, but also long. At most, it probably could have been shortened by one book, but there weren't many times when I felt like the conflict staled.

The ending made perfect sense. I actually saw many tangents with some classics I was forced to read and analyse during high school. This series could probably be broken down in a literature class, with the many literary devices it uses effectively. Of course the sexual nature of it wouldn't be appropriate.

Edwards noted on her facebook that she's going to write an ending that fits the genre more for her readers, which is great, but I'm not sure if I should read it, given all the reasons stated above. I probably would just for the heck of it, however, and I'm a fan.

Also, on a side note, eye fluttering/twitching is common during comas. It doesn't mean that the person is going to wake up. Families in real life actually get destroyed with false hope because of it. Given that knowledge, I'd like to think Jeremy let Lilly live on in her coma state, while not being able to move on. I suppose I really hate Jeremy for being a sick, manipulative bastard?

After having this series go on longer than what I think it should have, I was hoping that the final book would not be a disappointment. The ending killed me. Of course it started off with Jeremy still messing with Lilly's mind regarding Hugh and company. I was beginning to think that Jeremy had finally gone insane and was just dragging Lilly along for the ride. She goes back to work, only to be kidnapped. Some of the things that happen to her while being held captive will make a person cringe and are not for the faint of heart. Half-ways through her abduction, there is finally a chapter from Jeremy's pov, showing that he really does love her and is going out of his mind trying to find her. I was surprised at first about the people who had kidnapped her, but then thought about it and was not really surprised after all. Of course Jeremy sweeps in and rescues Lilly, but not before her kidnappers have already truly messed with her mind. Jeremy and Lilly do get engaged, but with the way the book ends, I don't know if it ever comes to fruition. The closer it gets to the end of the book, the more shocks, twists, and turns happen. I have to admit that I would have never imagined this type of ending to the series. I actually cried because I was in such shock. I have been waiting for this series to finally end, and now that it has, I wanted to the end to go just a little bit longer.

Well we have to give scarlett one thing she ended the series. But the way it was ended was really unexpected, but was good for scarlett because now she has a back door to add an 11th book. Many of us are p!$$ed of that it took 10 books and about 40-50$ to get to the end, so another point for scarlett - she strung us along and really made her money.

The story itself was good- messed up- twisted and the end just wrong. Congrats Scarlett you wrote a good book.

I give it two stars because il upset about 10 books and 40-50$. She often pushed her publishing dates back without telling anyone and kept blaming her readers for the story growing. She's young and maybe the next story will have a pre-established story line before she starts to write. Also I'm bothered that she only listed to the praise she got about her books absolutely didn't seem to acknowledge that a lot of people felt ripped off, strung along and lied to.

I will honestly not be reading any more of her books.

The FINALE

As always, I have enjoyed Scarlett Edwards New novel, "Uncovering You". I gave it a 5 star rating because it was well written and broke my heart. Any book that touches my soul and makes me feel is a book I adore .
Thank you Scarlett.

Disappointed. Lacked true closure.

Needed a more clearly defined end.Too nebulous. I felt cheated out of the more uplifting outcome. Yes her eye flutter, but then what? Be more obvious.

I hated this book. I loved the first few and kept reading with the hope the story would come together but it did not. Most of the last book is so ridiculous I could not even read it. So let down.

i loved it, I was addicted to it <3 and now i m missing it (and jeremy and lilly)
