This book is brilliant. A collection of short stories, the author bound them together inside another story, which neatly ties them together. Thus, by using the binding technique, each of the short stories build upon the previous. As the book progresses, each story gets a bit darker and surreal.

The technique of a binding story actually added value to the individual stories, which I might not have enjoyed as much. It allowed me to feel like I was reading a larger, more involved book. I usually don't like to buy short story collections. However as this book progressed, I got the sense of continuity and a build up to a finale.

I especially loved the story regarding the warehouse, stay or move on. At it root, this is a love story and the author made me feel for the main character. I think this was my favorite. If you enjoy darker subjects, ones that deal with conflict, loss and death, you'll not go wrong. Buy it. Read it.
