Meet the animals who roamed the earth millions of years ago. There’s the three-horned-face Triceratops, the Apatosaurus, one of the largest animals ever to walk on earth, the Stegosaurus with plates along his back, the “fused lizard” Ankylosaurus, the chicken-mimicking Gallimimus, the fierce Velociraptor, the tyrant lizard Tyrannosaurus, the flying reptiles Dimorphodon and Pteranodon, and the huge marine reptile Mosasaurus.

Which one was the most dangerous in the Jurassic World?

=========

This Step Into Reading book uses engaging characters, easy-to-follow plots, and popular topics for children ready to read on their own. As with all Learning to Read: Step 3 books in this series, this is a book designed to encourage and support the child’s independent reading experience.

Colorful illustrations and a popular topic support the understanding of basic science information for young readers. A collection of Dinosaur cards, each with a picture of a dinosaur on one side and a multiple choice question on the other side, helps to reinforce the information provided in the book.

Highly recommended, especially for dinosaur fans.

This one was also a good read, very educational for the level it's intended and has fun fact cards in the back.

It written without story and more like a fact textbook thats palatable to children, which is an interesting take, but.overall not a bad read.

Personal Response:
I personally didn't find the book bad but my cousin thought it was awesome.He loved all the dinosaurs and they why the writer explained the different dinosaurs.He said his favorite was the T. rex,he thought that the little arms were hilarious with the big body,he wanted to know if the little arms were able to grow and be bigger to be normal arms too,I didn't know so I didn't answer.

Plot Summary:
Basically,what happened in this book is that they talked about different dinosaurs. Those dinosaurs are T rex,stegosaurus,triceratops,and others.The authors explained the appearance through pictures and other tools used to help the read learn more about the dinosaurs.He gave different facts about the dinosaurs and how those things they explained helped the dinosaurs with their functions to have self defense and attacking and other things.Like on of the facts about T.Rex's are that when the dinosaur wanted to get closer to the ground it would use its little arms to keep itself from slamming against the ground.That's the best reason a big dinosaur would have the little arms.

Recommendation:
I would recommend this book to people who like reading about dinosaurs and learning little facts about them.Altho people who would really get a kick out of this book would be younger kids about four to seven.That's my recommendation now coopers was a bit different he thought that his friends in his class would find this book to be like "the best thing ever" in his words.He even wants high school students to start readying these books about different dinosaurs.In the end cooper really did like the book and that's what matters most.

Brief profiles of the most prominent/ familiar Jurassic World dinos. My child would happily read a whole book about raptors or the mosasaurus though. Bonus star for the inclusion of detachable dino trivia cards at the end. They prompted listening closely during rereads in order to more accurately remember facts involving numbers.

This was a random pick up. It turned out to be in the encyclopedia. My six year old and I didn’t finish it.
