Ashlynn never ever disappoints with any of her books!!! This was an another amazingly written book and story!!
She absolutely does not care about ya feelings and will have you feeling all of the feels with her books!
Ophelia and Hayden were absolutely meant to be! He is a top tier boyfriend material to a TEE!! They have obstacle after obstacle thrown at them, plot twist of course cause Ashlyn can’t leave out those lol!! One hell of a journey for the both of them, and even thought Ophelia thought she lost her love forever, Hayden felt resentment they still had the love!!
When you think you have it figured out, trust me you don’t lol! And that cliffy!?!?!? I can’t wait for what is next!!

I probably need a few therapy sessions after this!!! I don't think I can remember the last time I had so many conflicting emotions all at once.
I was completely invested from page one. I felt their love, and I was so angry for them.
Then I became completely annoyed. I hate the miscommunication trope, and all I wanted to do was scream at them to just TALK. After a while, Hayden was pushing every one of my buttons, and I honestly didn't even want them together anymore. She clearly deserved better after everything.
Then he showed up at the warehouse after her text, and the second he stepped inside, my heart and brain completely erased every emotion and thought I'd had before. Suddenly, I was all heart-eyes and internally screaming, "YEEEES!"
I also loved Bianca and Stone, and it was so much fun getting to see some of my favorite characters from Ashlynn's other books.
I laughed, I teared up, but THAT ENDING?!
Ashlynn, please don't do this to us. PLEASE. I BEG YOU. 😭😭😭😭

The way that I absolutely DEVOURED this book is insane. I honestly don’t even know how to feel right now sitting at the nurses station with TEARSSSSS at the way this just ended. And like I’m terrible with reading the trigger warnings in the beginning of the books because like I know I’m going to just read the book regardless but damn, I am emotionally WRECKED! Hayden, my dear Hayden. He’s up there with top tier boyfriend material. Omg the way he loved on Ophelia is unlike anything I’ve ever read before. Their love is just so all consuming, toxic, absolutely FERAL! And I loved every single minute of it.

Firefly absolutely destroyed and consumed me 😭🩵 I was NOT prepared for the emotional damage it was about to inflict. Hayden and Ophelia had me hooked from the very beginning, and I couldn’t put this down! Their connection is intense, obsessive, messy, toxic, heartbreaking, and ✨ completely consuming. ✨ Every chapter had me needing to know what was going to happen next, and every time I thought things might finally work out for them, something else happened 💔 And that ending?!? 😭😭😭 I was genuinely not prepared. A cute happily ever after? No, no… this story will rip your heart out, stomp on it, but leave you desperately needing the next book.. In the best way 😌
Ophelia broke my heart because she has spent years grieving her forever boy that she believed was dead, trying to survive in a life that was never her choice 🥺 Watching everything she endured while still holding onto that love was devastating.. I wanted so badly for her to finally get the happiness she deserved 😭 She is trapped in a life she never wanted, surrounded by manipulation and control, yet she never loses the love she carries for Hayden. Despite everything she’s endured, she continues to fight for herself and for the future she wants 🥺 Her pain felt so real throughout the story, and I found myself rooting for her every step of the way. Seeing her navigate her grief, heartbreak, and impossible choices made her such an emotional and compelling character 🩵
Hayden… Hayden Marks, the man that you are 🫠🩵 This man spent years having everything taken from him and despite that, beneath all of his anger and heartbreak is a boy who never stopped loving his girl. Some of his moments had me kicking my feet, while others had me staring at the wall trying to recover from the emotional damage 😭 His love for Ophelia is fierce and unwavering, and I honestly don’t think I’ll ever get over him. He is protective, possessive, obsessive, devoted, and completely willing to burn the world down for Ophelia if that’s what it takes ❤️🔥 Every scene between them was filled with so much tension, longing, and emotion that I felt it right alongside them!
This was a great, addictive read that I was so invested in with the twists that kept me on edge, the relentless emotions, and not to mention that the chemistry between Hayden and Ophelia was absolutely insane! 🩵 Their relationship isn’t healthy, sweet, or perfect, but that’s exactly what makes it so addictive—They love each other with every piece of themselves, even when that love becomes destructive. I’ll be politely, but impatiently, waiting for book two because I am NOT okay 🩵

I absolutely adored this book!!!! I mean I knew I would love it before I even received it but it went over and beyond my expectations. Hayden is by far my favorite book boyfriend to date that Ashlynn has written about, maybe even my favorite period out of every book boyfriend ever written! That’s how perfect Hayden is! So his love story with Ophelia is complicated and tragic from childhood when they were best friends and knew they were meant to be together already all the way to teenage angst love then cut off abruptly when Ophelia was 16 because of her pos father! Making her believe he was dead for all those years and forcing her to wear another man’s ring. Brayden is something else let me tell you. I didn’t think he was going to really be a problem at first tbh I thought he was just going along with the forced engagement for whatever business deal their fathers had going on that he was a part of but once Ophelia’s father moved up the wedding date and Brayden started acting super controlling and taking her on dates like he actually wanted to be with her was a bad sign. The biggest red flag was when he took her to the exact same place where Hayden used to always take her when they were younger acting like he was showing her a special place of his. That was Hayden and Ophelia’s special place and then poor Hayden ends up going there to look for her and sees her kissing the douche canoe right there in their special spot. Bad firefly but what could she do really? She had absolutely no control over her life at that point. She let them all control her like a puppet in her grief thinking Hayden was dead all that time he was in prison because of her judge father that set him and his best friend up that ended up dying at the scene. RIP Justin, who happens to be Bianca’s twin. It was really cool to be back in the Chaos universe and get to see Jade and her men when they first got together. It made me realize how much of a bad ass Spade by the power he held in that area. Oh and then to find out Flynn O Patrick was the one that got Hayde out of prison was a crazy awesome cross over!! So that cliffhanger was intense and Brayden ended up being way more dangerous than I initially thought but I can’t wait to find out what happens in the next book! Hope both Hayden and Ophelia are okay and hope that gun shot wasn’t heading for anywhere on Hayden’s perfect skin!

Hayden and Ophelia have always been inseparable. They are so entirely I love with each other. Ophelia is the daughter of a judge and Hayden comes from the wrong side of the tracks. Hayden may have a job of jacking cars to make money but he never put Ophelia in harms way.
One night Hayden was out with his friend and didn’t come for his nightly visit to Ophelia. She never saw him after that night she was told by her father he died. In reality Ophelia’s dad the judge had Hayden put in jail for the death of his friend to get rid of Hayden. This is so the Judge could arrange a marriage between Ophelia and another wealthy family. While Ophelia was under the impression Hayden was dead, he was in jail plotting his revenge because he thought she forgot him. After several months Hayden is release from jail and Ophelia is sure a Ghost is haunting her. Jail has changed him, hardened him, but he will burn the world for her no matter how much anger is between them. This book was such an emotional roller coaster but I loved it all the same.
This is not a book to read if your looking for a HEA.

Why with the cliff-hanger? My wee heart can’t take it.
Part of me wishes that I had read The kings of Mayhem & chaos series but I was a little late to the Ashlynn party and haven’t gotten around to them yet. So Ophelia and Hayden were completely new to me.
I really love that Ophelia is a feisty little thing. Maybe not all of the time with her dad and Brayden but she does fight them on things.
I know I should feel bad for Lacy but I don’t how many times do you need to get your ass handed to you before you stop running your mouth off.
I was a little frustrated with Hayden at the start. I get that what happened to him was bad with Justin and everything and how much Ophelia’s dad had to do with it but he knew how much she loves him so why was he stupid enough not to question her abandoning him for 3 years. He should have know there was more to it.
I’m 100% team firefly and ghost so I really hope that that ended isn’t the end for them. I really hope that the Cyprus brother or the twins or even the Irish fella comes to the rescue.
Part of me wishes that I had read The kings of Mayhem & chaos series but I was a little late to the Ashlynn party and haven’t gotten around to them yet. So Ophelia and Hayden were completely new to me.
I really love that Ophelia is a feisty little thing. Maybe not all of the time with her dad and Brayden but she does fight them on things.
I know I should feel bad for Lacy but I don’t how many times do you need to get your ass handed to you before you stop running your mouth off.
I was a little frustrated with Hayden at the start. I get that what happened to him was bad with Justin and everything and how much Ophelia’s dad had to do with it but he knew how much she loves him so why was he stupid enough not to question her abandoning him for 3 years. He should have know there was more to it.
I’m 100% team firefly and ghost so I really hope that that ended isn’t the end for them. I really hope that the Cyprus brother or the twins or even the Irish fella comes to the rescue.

Ashlynn never disappoints and she definitely does not care about your feelings! I love her stories, and Ofelia and Hayden's story absolutely wrecked me. It was heartbreaking, gripping, and impossible to put down.

In true Ashlynn form. This story grabs ahold of you and you fall in love with Hayden and Ophelia (Firefly). As I was flipping the pages. With a held breath at times. And I laughed a few other times. But for goodness sake you better have a brand new box of tissues sitting right next to you for the ending. Because Miss Ashlynn rips your heart right out and is probably giggling right now. Yup she sure does.

Firefly completely consumed me; I wasn’t prepared for the emotional storm it brought, but i was warned, and still I jumped in headfirst, no regrets. Hayden and Ophelia’s intense, obsessive, messy connection had me hooked from the start, and I loved every damn bit. Every chapter kept me wanting more, and the ending destroyed me. It ripped my heart out—no happy ending here, just a need for the next book that I can’t wait to consume me either. Ophelia’s grief over her lost love was heartbreaking, yet she fought for her happiness in a controlling, manipulative world. Her resilience made her relatable. Hayden, despite his pain and anger, never stopped loving her. His fierce, unwavering love made every scene electric. Their chemistry is explosive, though their relationship is far from perfect. It’s addictive because they love fiercely, even destructively. I can’t wait for book two—I'm not okay, but Ashlynn already knew that, she probably does an evil laugh, looking at these reviews.

I seriously don’t know what kind of voodoo Ashlynn puts in her books, but whatever it is… IT WORKS. 😂🔥 I am completely hooked on this series already! Her writing is truly amazing.
Firefly pulled me in with its second chance romance, obsession, revenge, underground fights, street races, cartel secrets, and the powerful families pulling strings behind the scenes. Hayden is dark, damaged, angry, and absolutely consumed by his love for Ophelia & I was here for every bit of it.
Their history, the heartbreak, and the intensity between them made this one impossible to put down. Some loves really do refuse to die, even after everything meant to destroy them.
But one of my favorite things has to be how Firefly connects to Ashlynn’s other book worlds. I LOVE when authors build interconnected universes, and these connections make everything feel so much bigger and more addictive.

I couldn't put this down! The characters and the storyline are portrayed perfectly! It hooked me from the first sentence.
This is a rollercoaster of emotions. I was crying, shocked, any emotion I had it. This book officially broke me.
Ophelia is a strong girl. She's been through shit thinking the one and only died. Her dad, don't get me started on him. I hate him.
Brayden is a narcissist who will never have Ophelia like Hayden did.
Hayden, he's obsessive/possessive but in a way that's comforting. I love Hayden.

I honestly have no idea how I’m supposed to move on after this. I tore through this book and ended up completely heartbroken by the end. Hayden and Ophelia had me emotionally invested right away, and everything they endured to find their way back to each other made my chest hurt. Their relationship is chaotic, unhealthy, and fiercely devoted, which somehow made me love them even more. The way Hayden loves Ophelia is absolutely unmatched. That man would truly burn the world down for his girl. Every twist had me anxious, every emotional moment hit hard, and that ending left me speechless, wondering what to do with myself. This definitely isn't the book to pick up if you're looking for a happy ending, but if you want something that will make you feel every emotion imaginable and leave you desperate for book two, this one delivers.

I loved this! It's Hayden & Ophelia's story & it was heartbreaking at times. They've known each other forever & her father hates him. Something happens & they're separated for years; she believes him to be dead & he believes she doesn't love him. When he comes back, he has vengeance on his mind & she has no idea that she's the center of it. Unfortunately, they're surrounded by danger & secrets; her "boyfriend" is in the middle of it all & she feels stuck with him. There's so much happening here & a lot of things come to light; but their love is being tested at every turn. I loved seeing familiar faces & loved the spice & story. It does end on a brutal cliffy; do not expect an HEA here. Highly recommend this book & author!

In Firefly the cards are staked against Hayden and Ophelia. I mean Ophelia's father made her believe Hayden was dead but in fact he was not. After years stashed away in jail, Hayden truly believed Ophelia has moved on but boy was he wrong. He is back for his Firefly and he wants her to pay. If you thought this was going to be a story of love wins all and an happily ever after you are mistaken. Throughout the book you will experience many secrets and loads of deception that will make you second guess what is going on. Firefly does end on a massive cliffhanger and I can't wait for book 2. Ashlynn ... bravo for another great book!!!

Hayden and Ophelia were meant to be and that was obvious from the very beginning, but life doesn't always work out the way we hoped. Life threw everything it could at these two and though their story is toxic and messy you can't help but to hope the best for them but leave it to Ashlynn to pull the rug out from under you the moment you think there is a light at the end of the tunnel for these characters. This was a nonstop read for me with each chapter dragging me deeper into the story than the last. If you're looking for an HEA you will want to skip out on this one..better yet enjoy the emotional damage you may have by the end of this book then go crash out in her DMs (respectfully of course).

Hayden and Ophelia have a love that most of us could only dream of and be jealous of. It is so strong that it would stretch through time. Both Ophelia and Hayden endure a lot to fight for themselves. There are some that would try their hardest to tear them apart. Ophelia is a scrapper. She can hold her own. Hayden is the underdog that you are cheering for to win.

Holy sh*t! Ashlynn had me hooked from the first page of chapter one! What a gripping story! It's a tale as old as time with darker themes.
Hayden, the young man who is poor madly in love with Ophelia, a young woman is from a rich family.
The love, the pain, the obsession and the struggles they kept facing had me in agony and my heart racing!
The emotional torture that both Hayden and Ophelia go through was painful. The misunderstanding in the beginning which then lead to it being miscommunication had me groaning in frustration.
I was not prepared at all for the ending, WTF?! I immediately need book two!

Hold onto your tissues because Ashlynn doesn't give a supply when she releases this beautiful masterpiece!. Hayden and Ophelia's story is one that will live inside your soul. The dedication will start the tears, while their love story will make them slide down your cheeks. This is beautiful, tragic and so overwhelmingly gut wrenching.
