Fantastic!!!

This is one of those books that stick with you for a while because this author takes your emotions to the next level. Vandal was a man who had just endured a brutal beating and is trying to put his life and literally his body back together when he gets a phone call from a little girl asking for help. Even though he hid behind pills and booze he goes to Elsie and her mother, Daisy, to protect them.

That little girl and her mother just might be the key to helping Vandal help himself. All of his brothers have tried for some time now but Vandal full of guilt from the beating and wasn’t ready to let anybody in…until Daisy and Elsie.

I loved how this book was one of survival, opening your heart and finding a future that you thought you had lost. For a little levity I loved the interaction between Elsie and Havoc which helped to lighten this very emotional book.

I highly, highly recommend not only this book by this author but the rest of her books as well.

Vandal Unbound will hold you captive from the very first page as this accidental family romance digs itself deep under your skin. Vandal is recovering from being tortured, his body slowly healing after not only the beating but the surgeries, however it is his mind that is struggling to deal with all that he has gone through. When Daisy and her daughter Elsie cross paths with Vandal, he is drawn to them and they might just be the light at the end of the very dark tunnel. Their story is at times quite emotional and has you walking through the darkness as these three find their way out. It is gritty, hard hitting but also has some lighter moments provided by a little girl who will steal your heart. Vandal’s journey is at times confronting and has you on the edge of your seat ready to show your support for this character. This story is one filled with found family, brotherhood and a love that will heal three hearts.

Omg, this book emotionally DESTROYED me in the best way. 😭❤️

There was so much healing all around between the MC, I know it’s only the second book in the series but….dare I say Vandal might be my favorite! He’ll definitely be a tough one to beat as the series goes on.

Watching this badass biker who doubts himself since the accident becomes Daisy and Elsie’s safe place completely melted my heart. Daisy is such a strong, protective single mom, and Vandal’s journey of healing and learning that he’s worthy of love absolutely broke me in the best possible way.

Their romance was sweet, emotional, passionate, and full of that delicious you deserve better than me angst. Add in MC brotherhood, banter, suspense, found family, and just enough chaos, and I was DONE. 🥹

I especially loved Vandal’s bond with Havoc and Knox stepping into that father figure role. Such a beautiful story about healing, love, and finding your people. ❤️🏍️I seriously I’m trying to be patient waiting for the next story because of that snippet at the end…ugh I needs now!!!

There were quite a few continuity errors that took me out of the story (Daisy and Elsie were often mixed up, and the timeline was wonky in several scenes), however I enjoyed to overall plot

That was so heartwarming 🥹🥹🥹

I loved Elsie so much. I thanked her for her one wrong number pushed that lead her and Daisy to Vandal. It was perfect time too for Vandal.
Oh Vandal, I cried for him. He was so real. He was imperfectionly perfect that made him the hero he was. His journey to healing was so touching for me. I was crying hard when he finally admitted that he needed help. I loved how he had a wonderful support system. How the whole MC worked together to support him was the reason why I love reading MC-themed books. The brotherhood in this book was beautifully written I want more of them.
Daisy, though, she was fine-ish to me. She was kinda inconsistent at the beginning of the book. Her character was kinda flat compared to Vandal (and even Elsie).

Eventhough I skipped the first book of this series, I could easily catch up with the characters and not felt overwhelmed at all. On the contrary, I kinda invested in this series and from the sneak peak of the next book, I would definitely read it when it releases.

Daisy and Elise. On the run from the Ben who wants to take her daughter from her. Never letting her guard down and she doesn’t stop looking over her shoulder. Vandal. Recovering from being tortured. He can’t separate fact from fiction. Nightmare memory. A boost that’s healing not only from the torture but from the surgeries as well. They run into each other. And Elise looks at Vandal line he’s a safe place. I loved these three so much. The drama, the hurt and pain. The way he protects them like it was meant to be him to do it. This was such a deep and captivating story. It was so good. This was an unputdownable kind of story. A definite must read.

Vandal Unbound

The depth of anger, beating of another person of a rival MC all because they think he might know something about a person they cannot find, literally almost killing him. The memories of said beating has left him with PTSD, alcohol and drug addiction, just trying to cope. This story is so intense, full of realism and emotional trauma, pain about this traumatic event, now he is trying to move past and open up to his MC for help. This is an amazing story about addiction, coping, trust and doing what you need to for yourself. Absolutely loved this story.

Some parts of this book, like the moments between Elsie (FMC's daughter) and Vandal (MMC), and how Vandal's club brothers support him, I really liked.

But, for example, at some point during a spicy moment the FMC asks the MMC to "violate" her so she can get out of her head, and the wording just wasn't it for me.

Otherwise the book was alright, but I probably won't read it again.

Good MC Story

This was such a good story on trauma, coping and recovery while still having all the angst and drama of a MC Club. I love how Vandal was able to crawl himself out of his hell and find love and family and how a sweet little girl helped him get there.

was it the best book ever? No, but it had a good plot fast paced action, and wholesome found family so I was hooked.

Other than a couple typos I really did like this book, felt a little rushed and somehow slow at the same time, but either way a good way to get out of a slump!

💔 For the Plot:

We meet Vandal in Knox Unleashed, and honestly, I really liked him right away. He's loud, funny, charming, and obsessed with 80s music. He's constantly breaking into song, and he's basically the fun guy of the club.

😳 But....that changes.

If you've read Knox Unleashed, you know Vandal is kidnapped by Alvarez, the Miami drug dealer who is looking for the former club member from the first book.

And poor Vandal is TORTURED.

I mean… horrific doesn't even begin to cover it. Vandal is beaten within an inch of his life, electrocuted with a cattle prod, and beaten in the head with a baseball bat. His injuries are so severe that he needs multiple surgeries and comes terrifyingly close to dying.

His face has to be reconstructed. They literally have to peel his face away from his skull to repair his orbital bones.
I cannot stress enough: GOD. BLESS. THIS. MAN.

And then there's the possibility that he may never ride a motorcycle again. For a biker? That's basically a fate worse than death.

But here's the thing that hurt me the most:

Vandal feels like he failed his club. He didn't. He never broke. Not once.

He was tortured, beaten, mutilated, and pushed to the absolute limits of what a human being can endure, and he never gave Alvarez the information he wanted.
And yet Vandal comes out of that experience feeling like he wasn't enough. 😭

As he recovers, he withdraws from everyone. He buries himself in pills and liquor, struggles with nightmares and PTSD, and barely resembles the man we met in Knox's book.

One night, while he's sitting in a pill-and-liquor-induced haze, he gets a phone call from a little girl. She meant to call her mother's friend but got Vandal instead. She's scared because some man is banging on their apartment door.

Vandal is more than half drunk. He's barely functioning. He's a mess. And yet he goes. Because for the first time since what happened to him, someone needs him.

That little girl is Elsie, and her mother is Daisy. They're essentially on the run, and as the story unfolds, we learn exactly who they're running from and why.

I'm not going to get too far into that because the romantic suspense aspect of the story is genuinely good, and I think it's better experienced as it unfolds.

💔 What Broke Me:

Honestly?

Vandal.

The parts of this book that affected me the most weren't even necessarily the romance. It was watching this man try to figure out who the hell he is now. He's lost so much. His physical abilities. His confidence. His independence. His sense of purpose.

And maybe most importantly, his understanding of himself. He spends so much time wrestling with the man he used to be versus the man he is now. He has to reconcile that his value isn't tied to what he can do for the club, that his role may change, and that people change. It's okay.

And I really appreciated that the story didn't just magically fix him because he found a woman. Daisy didn't come along and make the PTSD disappear. She didn't "save" him. She is what gives him hope, or rather a future with her and her daughter, but she doesn't just fix him.

Instead, Vandal has to work through what happened to him and figure out what kind of man he wants to become. And watching him slowly realize that he can still have a life? 😭 My heart.

🥹 And Then There's Daisy…

I really liked Daisy. She meets Vandal at the absolute worst point of his life. He's traumatized, drinking, popping pills, covered in scars, and emotionally barely holding himself together.

At one point, he brings her into his club room, and it's such a disaster that he literally has to open the window because it smells so bad. 😂 Any other woman would have run out of there, but Daisy?

She doesn't judge him. She doesn't look at him like he's broken. She's patient. She's kind. She's loving.

But, and this is important, she also doesn't just accept his behavior and pretend everything is fine.
She stands up for herself. She stands up for Elsie. She loves Vandal, but she isn't going to enable him.

I appreciated that SO much.

And Vandal's immediate love for Daisy and Elsie was just… precious. This big, broken, intimidating biker finding something worth fighting for again?

Yep.

I'm a puddle.

❤️ What I Loved Most

Men's mental health is not something we see addressed particularly often in romance, especially after something as horrific as what Vandal endured. And I thought this was handled really well. Of course he's fucked up after what happened to him.

OF COURSE HE IS.

He was tortured nearly to death. He has nightmares. He has scars. He's grieving the man he used to be. He's terrified of what his future looks like.

And he feels like he failed the people he loves even though he actually protected them by refusing to give up information.

His struggle felt messy. It felt frustrating and heartbreaking. But it also felt human.

And I loved watching him slowly come to terms with the fact that healing doesn't necessarily mean becoming the exact man he was before. Maybe it's about accepting who he is now. And deciding who he wants to be. For himself, Daisy, Elsie, and the club.

Speaking of Elsie-she is a HOOT. I loved her. The way her relationship with Havoc was written was SO FUNNY. They argue over who is Vandal's BFF, and I couldn't stand myself I thought it was so dang cute.

⭐ Overall:

I loved their story. It was messy and sweet and heartbreaking, and my heart ached for Vandal for much of this book.

The romantic suspense kept things moving, but for me, Vandal's emotional journey was the star of the show. This man went through absolute hell, and watching him try to find his way back from it was both painful and beautiful.

And Daisy? She was exactly what he needed—not because she magically fixed him, but because she gave him something to want again. A family. A purpose. A reason to get out of the darkness.

And maybe most importantly, the realization that the man he is now is still worthy of being loved.

I expected Havoc's book to be next, but apparently we're getting Sunny's story first!

And judging by that setup…

I have a feeling I'm going to be just as invested. 👀

Oh, this is such an incredible read. A dramatic and emotional story about a broken man and a single mother on the run who find each other in the most unlikely of circumstances and create something amazing together. It’s both devastating and heartfelt with sweet moments, funny moments, action, and the most beautifully tender yet passionate romance. I loved everything about this book, and it’s a fave for 2026.

This is the second book of the Iron Outlaws MC: Florida series. You can read this book as a standalone, but there is obviously a lot of character crossover. And don’t miss the first book in this series, it’s also a 5 star read.

Vandal is an enforcer in the Iron Outlaws, and in the last book of the series he was beaten, tortured and left for dead by the club’s enemy. He has had multiple surgeries and is physically healing, but emotionally, he’s a wreck, and is relying on alcohol and pills to help him cope with all that he’s dealing with.

A man who’s scared is no use to his club, and right now, I’m not a man worth keeping around. I’m too broken, too fucked up, too injured to be of any help at all.

Daisy is a single mother on the run from her ex, who is struggling to make a life for herself and her five-year-old daughter, Elsie. In the most fabulous first meeting, Vandal is dragged out of a stupor by a phone call from a very scared Elsie. She has dialled the wrong number, but asks for help for herself and her mother in dealing with a loud and abusive neighbour. Although he’s wrecked, he’s still a good guy deep down and Vandal drives to help them.

Daisy is overwhelmed but incredibly thankful when Vandal shows up on her doorstep to protect her, and is stunned when little Elsie instantly attaches herself to his side. Though he’s in rough shape, there’s something between them, and as they keep coming into each other’s lives, an undeniable attraction builds. But the timing is all wrong. Vandal is not who he used to be, and he knows that Daisy and Elsie deserve better.

“I spent years,” I whisper, “thinking that if I met someone…really met someone…it would happen at the right time. Like fate would somehow be kind.”
… “But maybe that’s not how any of this works. Maybe people just crash into each other in the middle of their messy lives and bad timing and grief and whatever…this is.”

It’s a cruel trick of the fates to have something so perfectly put into your grasp, only for your hands to be too weak to hold it.

Vandal’s journey is so well written. From a man at rock bottom, it’s a hard crawl back, but he has every reason to fight and his battle to reclaim his life really brings the emotion. From his own realisation, to his heartfelt talks with Daisy and his heartwrenching confessions to his brothers, I felt it all, and watching him go through it and find his way back to his girls had me completely invested in his story.

“I still feel broken.”
Doc leans forward. “That’s because you keep measuring yourself against the version of you that existed before. You’re allowed to become someone new.”

Daisy and Elsie are not only the catalyst Vandal needs to admit how far he's fallen, they're also the promise of a better life that he clings to as he finally faces his demons. And though the romance actually happens pretty quickly, it feels like the most delicious slow burn. The build-up is fantastic, and the chemistry and longing build a fabulous sense of anticipation. Their coming together works so well with the story and it’s a wonderful mix of sweet, sexy, emotional, fun and playful, and I loved them together so much.

“I’ve got some big feelings for you, Daisy. Not gonna lie.”

And not to be overshadowed by the love story, the bond between Vandal and Elsie is just adorable. She sees him as her protector and her safe place, and her instant love for him is so freaking sweet. Similarly, Vandal falls quickly for Elsie, and watching the big, tough, badass biker be so sweet and wrapped around the finger of an adorable little girl absolutely melted my heart.

There’s lots of time spent with the MC, especially with Vandal’s best friend, Havoc, and club President, Knox, and they are so amazing in their support of their brother. I loved catching up with the boys, and seeing all of the different personalities, and the camaraderie between the guys is such a highlight and has me so excited to continue on with the series.

The world of a one percenter MC club is a dangerous one, and this book has action, suspense and violence, but again, it all ties in well with the story, showing the strength of the guys and the women in their lives, and bringing intensity and excitement.

I devoured this book and struggled to put it down. These characters completely stole my heart, taking me on a wild emotional ride that balances heavy moments with plenty of sweetness, swoon and humour. It's everything I wanted from Vandal's story and more, and I absolutely adored every page.

❤️‍🩹 One Wrong Number Gave Him a Reason to Keep Fighting ❤️‍🩹

Sometimes the people who come into your life completely by accident are exactly the people you need, and Vandal Unbound took that idea and turned it into such an emotional accidental-family romance. Vandal, Daisy, and little Elsie are all surviving in their own ways, and I loved watching one wrong phone call slowly turn into something none of them realized they desperately needed.

Vandal absolutely broke my heart. After surviving horrific torture, his body may be slowly recovering, but mentally he's still trapped in everything that happened to him. He's struggling with nightmares, memories, guilt, pain, and the belief that surviving doesn't necessarily mean he's actually living. His Iron Outlaw brothers are there for him, but Vandal isn't ready to let anyone reach him.

Then his phone rings.

Of all the people who could accidentally call Vandal, it's little Elsie asking for help. 🥹 Despite everything he's going through, Vandal's instinct is still to protect her. That says so much about the man underneath all the scars and pain. Elsie sees someone safe when Vandal can only see someone damaged, and their relationship was one of my favorite parts of this story.

Daisy has spent years doing whatever it takes to protect her daughter. She and Elsie are constantly looking over their shoulders, never staying anywhere long enough to put down roots and never allowing themselves to believe anywhere can truly become home. The last person Daisy expects to trust is this huge, tattooed, intimidating biker, but Vandal begins giving her something she hasn't had in a very long time: the feeling that maybe she doesn't have to keep running forever.

I really enjoyed watching the relationship between Vandal and Daisy develop, but what made this story work for me was the way all three of them gradually became a family. Daisy and Elsie need protection and somewhere safe to land, while Vandal needs a reason to believe there's still a future waiting for him. There's something so sweet about this little girl and her mother bringing light into the life of a man who has been living in so much darkness.

I also loved the Iron Outlaws brotherhood. These men refuse to give up on Vandal even when he's doing everything possible to shut them out. His healing isn't treated like something Daisy can magically fix simply because he falls in love. Vandal has to reach the point where he's willing to admit that he's struggling and accept help for himself, and that made his journey much more meaningful to me.

This story definitely gets heavy at times, but Elsie brings some much-needed sweetness and humor into the darker moments. Her interactions with the club, especially Havoc, were so much fun and helped balance the emotional intensity. She may be little, but she makes quite an impression on these bikers. 😂❤️

And when Daisy's past threatens the people Vandal has started thinking of as his family, that protective Iron Outlaw side comes roaring to life. This man may question whether he's worthy of being loved, but he certainly doesn't hesitate when it comes to protecting the people he loves.

Vandal Unbound is gritty and emotional, but underneath all that darkness is a story about survival, brotherhood, healing, and allowing yourself to imagine a future after believing yours had been taken away. One accidental phone call brings three hurting people together, and somewhere along the way they stop simply surviving and start becoming a family. ❤️‍🩹

J'avais adoré le premier tome et j'avais hâte de découvrir Vandal surtout après la fin du tome précédent! Vandal est l'enforcer des Iron Outlaws et il y a quelques semaines il a été victime d'une violente attaque qui a laissé des marques physiques mais surtout psychologiques. Depuis Vandal est perdu et ne sait pas s'il a toujours sa place au club. Il ne sait plus où il en est jusqu'au soir où jl reçoit un appel à l'aide qui ne lui était pas destiné. Vandal décide d'y aller et il fait la rencontre de Daisy et sa fille Elsie. Immédiatement quelque chose se passe entre Daisy et Vandal mais ce dernier comprend que la situation de Daisy est compliqué. En effet, cette dernière est en fuite pour protéger sa fille. Elle a tout laissé derrière elle et depuis plusieurs années elle va de ville en ville, craignant toujours d'être retrouvée... Vandal est effrayant avec ses tatouages, ses cicatrices, sa veste en cuir et sa moto. Mais Daisy voit dans son regard la fragilité qu'il cache depuis son attaque. Cet homme l'intrigue et même si elle devrait en avoir peur elle se sent en sécurité avec lui. Seulement quand les passés de Daisy et de Vandal vont entrer en collision ils vont devoir prendre des décicsions. Et Vandal va prouver q'un homme brisé peut-être dangereux quand on menace ce à quoi il tient le plus...

J'ai adoré ce tome qui a été un gros coup de coeur.

Vandal est génial. C'est un personnage complexe et touchant qui vit une période très difficile après une violente attaque qui a laissé des marques profondes. Il a du mal à s'en remettre et se sent à des années lumières de l'homme drôle et insousciant qu'il était avant. Il est perdu jusqu'à sa rencontre avec Daisy et Elsie. Il ressent immédiatement quelque chose pour Daisy et ne peut résister au charme d'Elsie à laquelle il s'attache immédiatement. Cela réveille ses instincts de protection et il fait beaucoup d'efforts pour elles. Et derrière sa façade un peu brute se cache un homme tendre, loyal et drôle. Mais surtout très attachant. Et Daisy est tout aussi géniale. Elle a un passé difficile et est prête à tout pour protéger sa fille. Elle est très à l'écoute et ne juge pas Vandal pour ce qu'il est ni ce qu'il traverse, bien au contraire. Elle comprend vite qu'il est en train de se noyer et qu'il a besoin d'une main tendue.
Il y a une relation très forte entre eux que j'ai trouvé aussi incroyablement touchante que pleine de douceur même si les obstacles sont nombreux.
Et j'ai tout autant adoré Elsie. Elle est géniale et apporte une vraie touche de fraîcheur à l'histoire. Elle est super drôle et mignonne.

La trame est vraiment top aussi. Elle aborde beaucoup de sujets difficiles comme l'addiction, le PTSD, les abus, les pensées suicidaires... Ce sont des sujets sombres mais qui sont bien traités et apportent beaucoup à l'histoire mais aussi aux personnages. Ils donnent une vraie profondeur et apportent une autre dimension à cette série. A cela s'ajoute des scènes d'action et de rebondissements qui donnent du rythme et qui font qu'on ne s'ennuie pas une seule seconde.
Et puis il y a évidemment le club des Iron Outlaws. C'est intéressant de continuer à les découvrir les uns et les autres vu que c'est un nouveau club. En plus de ça on revoit aussi les autres clubs des séries précédentes dont celle-ci est un spin-off. Concernant les nouveaux membres j'aime beaucoup Knox dont on connaît déjà l'histoire mais aussi Havoc qui est le meilleur ami de Vandal. Il y a une relation très forte entre ces-deux là et j'adore leur amitié. J'aime aussi beaucoup continué à voir Knox en tant que président il est vraiment bon à ce rôle. Bien sûr les autres membres ne sont pas en reste et ils m'inrtiguent tous beaucoup. J'ai d'ailleurs hâte de découvrir le prochain tome qui porte sur Sunny et vu la fin de ce tome son histoire s'annonce haute en couleur. J'ai hâte d'être au mois d'octobre pour la découvrir!

Je recommande très fortement cette série si vous aimez les romances qui abordent des sujets complexes avec des personnages qui le sont tout autant.

Yet again, S. Cole has taken my heart, completely shattered it into a million pieces, and somehow put it back together in the most beautiful way. And honestly… why am I ever surprised when I pick up one of her books? I KNOW what she does to me. I know I need tissues. I know I’m going to fall ridiculously hard for these characters. And yet, every single time, she still gets me.

Vandal Unbound is absolutely everything I want from an MC romance — and so much more.

Before I say anything else, we NEED to talk about five-year-old Elsie. 💕 That little girl stole my heart from the very first scene, and watching her completely work her way into the hearts of the big, tough bikers of the Iron Outlaws MC? I was DONE. Those moments between Vandal and Elsie are some of the most heartfelt scenes I’ve read in a long time. There is something about seeing a man who has been broken so deeply discover that there is still a part of him capable of loving, protecting and simply being there for someone that absolutely destroyed me.

And that is what makes this story so special.

Yes, this is a small-town, opposites-attract, single-mum romance, but calling it that almost feels like it doesn’t do the story justice. Because underneath the romance is a story about healing, trust, finding yourself again and discovering that maybe life still has something beautiful waiting for you.

Vandal has been through hell. If you read the previous book, you already know just how devastating his story is. His body may have survived, but his soul? That is another story entirely. He never believed he could truly be whole again.

Then comes a wrong number… and suddenly, everything changes.

Daisy isn't looking for love. She’s too busy trying to keep herself and Elsie safe, trying to build a life away from the man she knows she could never beat. The last thing she needs is complication.

But sometimes the person you absolutely don't need is the person your heart has been waiting for.

And watching these two find their way towards each other was EVERYTHING. Not because it was easy. It absolutely wasn't. But because every tiny step forward felt monumental. Every moment of trust mattered. Every little piece of Vandal that Daisy — and Elsie — managed to bring back to life felt like a victory.

And then there’s the danger.

Because, of course, this is S. Cole, so we are never allowed to get too comfortable! 😂 The tension, the danger and that underlying feeling that everything could explode at any moment had me completely invested.

But what really got me was the heart.

This isn't just a romance about finding your person. It's about finding something worth fighting for when you’ve forgotten what you were fighting for in the first place.

S. Cole has once again given me characters who crawled under my skin and made themselves very comfortable in my heart. I laughed, I worried, I swooned, I held my breath… and yes, I cried. A LOT.

Vandal Unbound is emotional, heartbreaking, beautifully tender, dangerously addictive and wrapped up in the kind of HEA that makes every single tear worth it.

Another epic addition to the Iron Outlaws MC Florida series.

And honestly, S. Cole… why do I ever think I’m going to get through one of your books without emotional damage? 😂🖤

Vandal Unbound is book two of the Iron Outlaws MC: Florida series by S. Cole. We are back with Knox, Vandal, Reaper, Ridge, North, Lock, Havoc and the hilarious Sunny. In the first book the MC were caught up in a war with Mateo Alvarez which led to Vandal being attacked and kidnapped. He is the biggest, strongest and bravest brother of the MC, their enforcer, but he was beaten and tortured to within an inch of his life. This is his journey of recovery. A wonderful story about healing, finding the strength to move on from a traumatic events and falling unexpectedly in love.

The incident was addressed in Knox Unleashed but now we get the full gruesome details of what happened that night. How he was knocked off his bike and then realises it wasn’t an accident. What he goes through was horrendous and it’s no wonder he is struggling after countless operations. It is a long hard road with many ups and downs as he fights his mental health and battles nightmares. Vandal’s injuries were so severe they left him traumatised and suffering from PTSD. He feels he has lost his identity and self medicates on pain killers and alcohol. He questions if he is of any use to the MC in his current state especially as he couldn’t help with the retaliation on Alvarez. He has some dark thoughts and just when he hits rock bottom and is about to give up, he receives a desperate phone call for help that he can’t refuse. Luckily for everyone concerned that call saves his life and is the start of his life changing forever.

The call is a little girl who is terrified and needs help with a man who won’t go away. Vandal can hear her mother is also scared. Although he is drunk and not allowed to ride his bike, he rushes over to help them. Daisy has been though a lot and has recently move into town. Vandal and Elsie
have an amazing safe word so she knows its him and she immediately embraces Vandal which shocks Daisy. They have escaped a bad situation and she is struggling to keep them afloat so can’t afford to get involved with a biker. Elsie was so cute and adorable. It was such a sweet touch that she has eye problems like Vandal. I liked how everything is slowly revealed about Elsie’s father. His betrayal, lies and actions means she refuses to fail Elsie and I was so pleased she now has Vandal and the MC on her side.

There is so much I could say about this book but I don’t won’t to spoil anyone’s enjoyment. My heart went out to Vandal and I was so invested in his story. The help he gets from Switch and the New Jersey Iron Outlaws really helped when decides he needs to get better for his girls. I thought Havoc was a wonderful best friend to him and never gave up on him. Daisy was brillant and great for Vandal but the absolute star of the show was Elsie. It was nice to see Knox and Maren doing so well and Knox stepping up as a father figure to Vandal.

Will Vandal accept the love both Daisy and Elsie are giving him so he can have a future with them.
Can he fight his demons and find a way to happiness. The way everything links up was clever and I was so glad Vandal gets some revenge. I loved how Knox deals with Alvarez thanks to the help Daisy gives the MC then how they all come together and return the favour when she needs them.
This is such a heartwarming and emotional read, I was with them every step of the way and loved how Elsie easily won over Havoc. There’s a fascinating teaser at the end for Sunny’s story.

Shew lord!! This book from the very start hit my emotional buttons and just didn’t let up!!! I was hooked by the first page but oh my heart Vandal’s suffering was so sad and I loved how strong he was being and we didn’t even know the full extent yet!! But then Elsie came along with her momma Daisy and flipped him for a loop and made him want to heal properly. I think Elsie is one of my favorite children characters I’ve ever met, she’s definitely in the top 5!! She was so well written and so cute and reminded me of my granddaughter so much!! This book was magnificent in telling the story of the power of love and family and healing!! And that you are always wanted by someone in this life!! You are worth it!! This book was such an amazing read!!! I am loving this series by S. Cole; she has created a series that is filled with suspense, drama, twists and turns, a few secrets, angst, and spice. This book was very emotional, and the time and care the author put into it were evident. This books storyline was original, heartbreaking for both main characters, and had me on the edge of my seat with the suspense and turning the pages to see what would happen next. I laughed, got teary-eyed, and fist-pumped a few times. This book is a dark MC romance and touches on dark themes and topics, so check the CW for the warnings. You can read this book as a standalone, but I recommend starting with Knox Unleashed to get the ongoing backstory. I thought the main characters were complex, with their own traumas that made my heart hurt, and an intense and undeniable chemistry that burned the pages. I totally devoured this book when it hit my Kindle and can’t wait to see what comes next from this author and the Iron Outlaws MC Club: Florida.



Daisy was guarded, protective, and trying to survive. I loved her devotion and determination to protect those she loved. Vandal was recovering and doing the best he could, but he was struggling with his demons. My heart broke for both characters, and I loved the undeniable connection they had. What a wonderful story from S. Cole.
It was kind of emotional and heart wrenching because Vandal OMG Vandal his suffering made me just want to hug him.
He is struggling mentally after being tortured and the emotional scars that it has left behind is hard for him to cope with.He is trying to recover from the whole ordeal,and when he meets Daisy and her daughter Elsie it changes his life forever.
Vandal helps them out of a bad situation after receiving a wrong number call,which happens to be Elsie asking for help.
From that moment on Vandal feels the need to protect Daisy and Elsie and when feelings get involved,it is a beautiful slow burn romance.
Daisy and Elsie give Vandal a distraction,a purpose and something to keep him from self medicating...So even though he came to their rescue Daisy and Elsie end up Saving Vandal also but in a different way.
Elsie is the cutest little girl ever she steals the show a bit and gives some light relief to an emotional book.
The writing by S.Cole is perfection and even though this is book 2 it can be read as a standalone but I recommend reading book 1 also.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this compelling story.

I was lucky enough to read an early copy of this book and when I say you need to RUN, don’t walk, to secure your copy, I 100% mean it. This book dragged me through all the feels, left me an emotional wreck and I don’t regret a single word of it. THIS is why S. Cole is an auto buy, no questions asked author for me.

Vandal Unbound was an unexpected gem of a read. Yes, I always love this authors books, I won’t deny that. But this book had me full on ugly crying more than once, solely because the emotions were so unashamedly raw and real that you would need be made of stone to not tear up while reading. That said, it’s not all about the sad feels, there’s also moments when I was laughing and yes, it’s a MC romance, so it has its gritty darker moments too, but add them all together and it made the overall story so rich and addictive.

I almost have no words to describe Vandal properly. He’s a giant, scarred, emotionally tortured man who with the right people has a marshmallow centre and a spirit that sucks you into his space and doesn’t let you go. He’s moved to the top of my book boyfriend list for sure after this story. There were so many moments when all I wanted to do was give him a hug and say hold on, things will get better, just wait. You will be healed by 2 people you least expect.

As for Daisy and her daughter Elsie. They are the balm that heals Vandal and he does the same for them , cliche as that sounds it’s true. I adored Daisy and Elsie has my heart. These two are the perfect match for Vandal and watching both bloom over the course of the book was a beautiful thing to read.

There’s a scene that highlights how much the club is family that had me laughing while my heart was so full and I dare anyone to not crack a smile while reading it. For me it shows that while club life is hard, it’s also family first and foremost. And this something that is author does so very well and it’s showcased to perfection in this book.

The world of Gator Flats is expanding, getting deeper and better with each book and this story is an amazing addition to the series. I devoured the book, then went back and read my favourite parts right after finishing because I was absolutely not ready to leave this couple just yet and yes, I’ve read it more than once since. I LOVED this book and can’t recommend it highly enough. Just remember, Vandal is mine 😂

Vandal Unbound is a must read and re-read 5 star read for me.

While contemplating Vandal’s story, I thought I had settled my thoughts in the right direction. Yeah, I was kidding myself lol. Through an author’s writing we get lost in the world they create and feel as if we’re right there to watch it all happen. This book is no exception, but it is much deeper and darker. I was not prepared for my emotions. I empathized with everyone around Vandal.

You know Scarlett should really send out a box of tissues, chocolate, and a calming agent (ahem – alcohol lol) with this book. It is brilliant, amazing, passionate, tragic, and haunting. It won’t leave me anytime soon.

Well, there you go – my warning is out there lol. Now I’ll get to the good stuff.

Vandal, Daisy, and Elsie will steal your heart and soul. Period. Knox will remind you why we fell in love with him and the club brothers in the first place.

We pick up right after Knox and Maren’s book where the storyline continues. Vandal is left with life altering injuries from his capture, and his mind is working hard against him. He contemplates his value to the club, his mother and to life in general. He feels useless with nothing to give.

As Fate wants to do, it intervenes. Five-year-old Elsie and her mom are in a dangerous situation and need help. Scared and hiding, Elsie attempts to call her mom’s friend. What she gets is a biker lost to his darkness.

Quickly realizing, the little girl and her mother are in eminent danger. Vandal ignores his inebriation and reality and decides to help them. Vandal arrives and takes care of the danger and meets Daisy and Elsie. Vandal finds himself enamored with the little girl and her mother. But he is nowhere near ready for them or anything else, so he leaves.

Vandal and Daisy meet again and start getting closer. Both have their guards up and keep the other at arm’s length. Those walls eventually come down, and Vandal realizes what he must do to have the future he deserves.

That cartel situation has gotten worse. Truths will surface rocking Vandal and the club but also brings them information they so desperately need to end this war.

Try to brace. Try to understand. This is just the tip of the iceberg for this book.

And oh boy… lol …. the person you least expect is up next!!!!

**A Powerful Read!**

"Vandal Unbound" is the second book in the Iron Outlaws MC: Florida series. It tells the love story of two lost souls: one broken and the other on the run. Their paths cross when Elsie, feeling scared one night, accidentally dials the wrong number while trying to reach a friend of her mother’s and ends up speaking to Vandal. This chance encounter leads to a heartfelt rollercoaster of emotional moments.

Vandal struggles to cope with the trauma from a horrific beating he endured, turning to alcohol and pills to drown out the noise in his mind, haunted by recurring dreams. However, after that fateful wrong number, a connection forms between Vandal and Elsie. It’s a touching bond that unveils the softer side of the tough biker, revealing he's a “cinnamon roll” when it comes to her.

Daisy, a single mother wanting the best for her daughter Elsie, is used to handling everything on her own and trying to outrun her past. When a broken biker like Vandal shows up to offer help, she is grateful but also hesitant to get involved, aware of the complications that may arise if she lowers her defenses and allows him into her life. Yet, neither can deny the attraction and chemistry between them.

What I appreciate most about Vandal is how deeply he cares for both Daisy and her daughter, Elsie. He reaches a turning point when he realizes he’s hit rock bottom. Acknowledging his need for help, he turns to his club brother, Havoc, and his president, Knox. In a true display of brotherhood, they support him by sending him to their main chapter in New Jersey.

This series is beautifully crafted, immersing readers in a vivid world filled with relatable characters. The balance of love, emotional healing, unconditional support, friendship, and brotherhood, all intertwined with humor, action, suspense, and drama, keeps you engaged and wanting more. I can’t wait for Sunny’s book, which is coming up next in the series!

I thought Knox would be my favourite from the Florida Chapter, but now that I've had the chance to get to know Vandal better, that's completely changed. It seems S. Cole is once again creating another Iron Outlaws chapter filled with the most incredible 1%ers. I have absolutely loved both Knox's and Vandal's stories, and I can't wait for the rest of the chapter to have their turn in the spotlight.

Hooked from the very first page, I found Vandal's story thrilling, addictive, and deeply emotional. The journey this incredible man endures broke my heart more than once, but don't worry - there's plenty of healing along the way too. The darker moments are absolutely heart-wrenching, making the lighter moments all the more rewarding. Watching Vandal begin to heal and seeing his story unfold was an unforgettable experience.

It's not only Vandal who has an incredible story to tell. Daisy does too. I loved getting to know her, and I especially loved the difference she makes to those around her. Then there's Elsie, who completely steals the show in so many scenes. She brought warmth and so much heart to the story.

Vandal Unbound is another incredible must-read. I know I keep saying it, but it's because it's true - S. Cole's Iron Outlaws is the best MC series I've ever read. This may be book eighteen, yet the author has once again delivered a story that feels fresh, exciting, and impossible to put down. I love spending time with all the Outlaw brothers because of the banter, loyalty, and camaraderie they share. Best friends Vandal and Havoc, along with Knox, embody those qualities perfectly. Being reunited with favourite characters from the previous series only made an already epic reading experience even better. And let's not forget the Old Ladies - I would happily be part of their close-knit circle. Who wouldn't?

I've found another top read of 2026 with Vandal Unbound, and I'm confident this story will become one of your favourites too.

Vandal Unbound delivers all the feels and left me an emotional mess in the best way possible. This book perfectly demonstrates why Scarlett Cole is my absolute favourite author and why I believe everyone should read her work. It is an exquisite story that blends gritty, dark MC club realism, found family, plenty of spice, and deep emotional healing through trauma.

Following his horrific beating in Knox Unleashed, Vandal is a man in incredible physical and mental pain. He drowns his suffering in alcohol and pills until an accidental wrong-number phone call from five-year-old Elsie changes everything—and ultimately saves his life. The opening chat with Elsie marks just the beginning of many heartbreaking moments, and the instant, tender connection Vandal builds with her is beautiful.

I felt such a profound connection to Vandal. While he’s dealing with intense trauma, underneath he’s a giant marshmallow who completely sucks you in. The spark between him and Daisy is undeniable, and both Daisy and Elsie become the ultimate balm for his wounded soul. What truly took this to a 5-star read for me was Vandal's personal growth; while Daisy and Elsie are his anchors, he ultimately chooses to face his demons for himself as much as for them.

The brotherhood of the MC really shines through in this book. I absolutely loved the brief visit to New Jersey and catching a quick glimpse of my guy, Niro! Amidst the heavy themes, the humour balances the story beautifully.

There is one standout scene in particular that had me laughing out loud as tears streamed down my face. It is dark, raw, and heavy at times, but the emotional payoff is entirely worth it. If you love deeply protective heroes, found family, and beautifully written recovery arcs, you need to pick this up immediately!

Vandal Unbound by S. Cole

To start, I should admit that after I read Knox Unleashed I went back.....to Iron Outlaws New Jersey and yes, I read all of King's boys, then, straight to Colorado to read Butcher and Grudge's lads. To say that S Cole has me sat for her back catalogue and future releases is true. What I really enjoy about S.Cole's books is that each MMC and FMC couple are different.  They are written to expand on the tick-a-box typical tropes. 

Vandal Unbound does not disappoint. Vandal and Daisy and Elsie's story is balanced very well. 
Vandal, in a pit of alcohol and pain, receives a phone call from a wrong number. On the other end is Elsie, 5 years old and looking for help for her mum who is holding back the door to 'bad guys'. What follows is Vandal finding purpose beyond self destruction with single mum, Daisy and Elsie.

Sure, there's a broken bloke but, the way Vandal's mental health featuring PTSD and addiction is handled, is tactful yet, without holding back the trauma he is working through. I love that in the Iron Outlaws MC world, male to male support networks and therapy are a positive and healthy part of the narrative.

Daisy is a fantasticly plucky FMC and Daisy is the glue that holds everything together. I love, love, love seeing the Papa-bear persona that Vandal steps into for Elsie.

What I also like about S Cole's books is we get as much of the band of brothers, the clubhouse as the couple in relationship.  So much so, that the spice takes a back seat. If you keep the romance but close the bedroom door, these books stand on their own for their characters.

This is a very emotional read- so make sure that you have your tissues handy! S. Cole does a great job with her trigger warnings, and if you have triggers please read those!
Vandal, one of the pivotal members of the Iron Outlaws, is brutally attacked and survives but is left with lasting scars both that can be seen and not. Vandal is slowly recovering and is struggling. He wants to be there for his brothers but he is also fighting against not only his body but his mind.

While Daisy and Vandal’s connection is so palpable the way Elsie sees all of Vandal’s good parts and vocalizes them- this is huge for a little girl that is slow to trust! Vandal and Daisy are up against some pretty tough odds but they both put trust in one another and Vandal works hard to face his demons and become who he wants to be for his girls.
I not only fell in love with Vandal, Daisy, and Elsie but Havoc really plays such a huge role in this family. The way Elsie and Havoc “fight” over who is Vandal’s best friend is just so heartwarming because the love they have for him is so pure. Havoc and Vandal have been friends since they were kids and it is so clear that Havoc is also struggling with how to help his friend from the darkness that is threatening to over take him. Without saying it Havoc just knows that Daisy and Elsie are Vandals world and not only would Vandal move mountains for them, Havoc will as well. I cannot wait for Havoc to find his person because this man deserves it.
If you enjoy a dark romance with a strong found family, intense physical connection, and all the emotion this series most definitely needs to be on your kindle ASAP! I am so excited for what is next in the series!

Because Daisy and Elsie may need his protection, but they’re also the ones who give Vandal a reason to save himself.

I really loved this book. It deals with some very dark topics and readers should definitely check the trigger warnings. Vandal was always such a happy-go-lucky guy, but what happened to him changed him completely. When he finally hits rock bottom and breaks down, I was crying right there with him. But when he starts to get better and we finally get glimpses of who he was before everything went bad, it made me love him even more. He overcame so much because a little girl and her mom saved him after he saved them.

I loved Daisy and Elsie too, but Elsie definitely stole the show lol. She’s only 5 but has already been through so much and has her own health issues. She’s scared of men, but the first time she sees Vandal after he saves them, she flings herself at him. At first she’s wary of the other bikers too, but once she realizes they’re Vandal’s friends, she starts warming up to them. I was laughing so hard when she was arguing with his lifelong best friend about which one of them was actually Vandal’s best friend, insisting it was obviously her lol.

While this book deals with some very dark themes, it was also full of so much light. Vandal has an incredible found family in his MC, and that love immediately extends to Daisy and Elsie because they’re Vandal’s. I loved watching these three people who have been through so much find safety, love, and family in each other.

Well… this was NOT supposed to happen. 😂

I was meant to read Vandal Unbound as a standalone.

Instead, I’ve fallen headfirst into the Iron Outlaws MC Florida series and my TBR is now looking at me like I’ve personally betrayed it. 🙄📚

Because WOW. I LOVED this book.

Vandal is a broken, battered, tattooed biker who has survived hell… but surviving and actually living are two very different things.

Then a little girl accidentally calls him for help. 📞

And this enormous, damaged, dangerous man suddenly finds himself protecting Daisy and her five-year-old daughter, Elsie.

And Elsie has that man wrapped around her tiny little finger before he even stands a chance. 😂❤️

Watching this badass biker become this little girl’s safe place absolutely MELTED ME.

And Daisy? A single mum who’s spent years running, protecting her daughter and never allowing herself to feel safe.

Until Vandal.

Their romance was everything—sweet, emotional, passionate and packed with that delicious I want you but you deserve better than me angst. 🔥🥹

But Vandal’s journey was what really got me.

A man convinced he’s too broken to be loved slowly discovering that maybe he doesn’t have to become the man he was…

He’s allowed to become someone new.

😭❤️

Add in action, suspense, MC brotherhood, banter, found family and just the right amount of chaos and I was COMPLETELY EMOTIONALLY COMPROMISED.

Am I going back for Book 1?

Obviously.

Does my TBR need another series?

Absolutely not.

Will that stop me?

I was so happy at the end of Knox and Maren’s book to find out that Vandal was up next, may sound strange considering what he had been through, but I really didn’t want that man to suffer any more than he already was. It was painful enough to experience the small amount we got at the end, but just the thought of having to watch him spiral while another brother got his HEA? Yup, nope. That wouldn’t be fair to anyone, so I was happy and while the beginning of this was ROUGH…and I mean ROUGH (and FYI TW’s are real at the beginning) it was soooo worth it in the end!

If it isn’t obvious, I LOVED Vandal, Daisy and Elsie’s journey.They’re all going through rough times and fate steps in, thanks to one miss typed number and they find that they are just what each other needs, even with the chaos swirling around them. It wasn’t smooth sailing in any way but that light at the end of the tunnel was always there for these three and when they got there, it was beautiful.

I know this is vague, but I feel if I say more I may slip and spoil things for other readers. But as I hinted at the start, the triggers are real with this one. It was rough being in Vandal’s head, but it was honest, but there was a good dose of humor, hope and heat to balance it out. I loved getting to know the chapter as a whole better, Havoc and Sunny are my favs hands down, but they definitely have a different vibe and it fits them and we do get to touch base with some favs. So now to wait patiently for Sunny's book because it's going to be awesome!

Vandal Unbound is book two in the Iron Outlaws MC: Florida series. This is a grumpy/sunshine, small town, single mom, touch them and die, dark MC romance. This story focused on main characters Vandal and Daisy. For maximum enjoyment, it's highly recommended to start at book one of this series.

Vandal is the Enforcer of the Florida Iron Outlaws chapter. In a short amount of time, we follow him through a lot of changes. He was normally loud, vibrant, and full of life; always belting out a tune or two. But in this book, we witness him vulnerable, suffering through physical and mental trauma, and at rock bottom. Then we follow him as he grows and learns his new normal.

Daisy is a single mother trying to survive. Her priority is, and always has been, keeping her daughter Elsie safe. She was independent and at times could be sassy and stubborn. She doesn't trust easily, which is understandable. Although Daisy and Vandal met at a complicated time in their own lives, Daisy was very supportive of Vandal, and he of her. Daisy and Elsie brought out a side of him no one knew he had, and they brought him back to life.

Their story was a slow burn that blended violence, angst, drama, and spice. The spice included some kinks. The showdown was a bit anticlimactic, and the ending was somewhat predictable. Like book one, the pacing was off, as the whole story takes place within about 4–6 weeks, making book two also over‑the‑top insta‑love. I felt there were a few things missing in their story; therefore, it was overall good, not great, so I give it 4 stars.
