Я заметил, что на груди белой майки налипло что-то черное, по форме - вроде большой бабочки с раскрытыми крыльями… В мерцающем свете люминесцентной лампы стало понятно: это темно-красное кровавое пятно. His fiction has polarized literary critics and the reading public. He has sometimes been criticised by Japan's literary establishment as un-Japanese, leading to Murakami's recalling that he was a "black sheep in the Japanese literary world". Meanwhile, Murakami has been described by Gary Fisketjon, the editor of Murakami's collection The Elephant Vanishes (1993), as a "truly extraordinary writer", while Steven Poole of The Guardian praised Murakami as "among the world's greatest living novelists" for his oeuvre.

Дори и котките (които, както всички знаят, са ми любими) не могат да спасят нищожните напъни на поредното ... (айде да не го казвам, че всички ще ревнат за расизъм) да роди нещо що-годе любопитно. За прехвалени от критика и слабоумни читатели автори съм писал не веднъж и дваж, но това просто е върхът на сладоледа. Явно всеки, който направи поне мъъъъънинко екзотичен сетинг, шибне вътре две-три препратки към класиката (я Едипов комплекс, я някаква още такава щуротия), запълни го с дълбокомислено изсмукани от палеца на десния крак опити за размишления, е просто обречен на успех сред четящо-прелистващата пасмина купувачи на вторични суровини. Че и Кафка намесен... "бедните ми мозъци", както казва Зейфод Бийбълброкс (герой от книга, която е в пъти по-философска от тази шлака тук). Плача за това поколение, които израства с подобни псевдо-"умнеещи" напъни. Ето така се убиват мозъчни клетки.

Самая любимая книга писателя, надолго запавшая в сердце. Книга, которая ушла за один вечер и влюбила в себя. Если бы меня спросили, с какой книги стоит начать читать Мураками, я бы посоветовала Кафку, хотя это и большое произведение. И, да, начинать с Кафки все равно, что с "Войны и мира" у Толстого, но словно бы это того стоит. Ход ва-банк.

одна из лучших книг Мураками. слушала аудиокнигу, чтецом которой был Радциг Кирилл. Лучшее время было проведено мною при прослушивании этой замечательной книги.
