In a world where everyone dreams of being a star, the internet can make that a reality. Everyone wants to be internet famous but how? Trisha Paytas gives a detailed step-by-step how to on achieving popularity on the web. Her Youtube channels have a combined total of 2 million subscribers and over 375 million views.
Trisha Kay Paytas (born May 8, 1988) simply known as Trisha Paytas is an American actress, author, businesswoman, entertainer, performer, plus-size model, and YouTube personality. She is known for her appearance on the seventh season of America's Got Talent in 2012 as well as her appearances on the television shows Who Wants to Be a Superhero? and My Strange Addiction.
I picked up this book because I like Trisha and know she knows a thing or two about the topic, and I wanted some insight from an experienced YouTuber on the topic. The typos in the book made me a little nuts since I'm a little bit of a grammar Nazi, but I enjoyed the book well enough. It entertained me, and I picked up a few new tips and tricks along the way, so overall money well spent in my opinion. :)
This book was an awesome find! I have most of trisha books and this one did not disappoint. She literally takes you step by step into her internet game world. It was a great read I took notes as I read to help me build my own brand.
Some of this book was fun and helpful, but the good majority of it was poorly edited and seemed as if Miss Paytas couldn't care less about making this book the best it could be. Gems like "back to basis" and "for the betters" show that Miss Paytas should have edited and taken more time on writing this book instead of rushing it out there and making it seem like she couldn't be bothered to hit Spell Check. I also dont think some of her advice was very wise. I still enjoy Trisha's YouTube content occasionally, but this book wasn't worth $1.99.
I really can't explain why I am so intrigued by Trisha Paytas, but I think --based on this self-published book--that she knows why I am obsessed. And she doesn't get enough credit for being a genius in her field (the internet).
