This one was SO CUTE! I loved the intro of this book the most. It was the best "re-meet-cute" if you will....Emma kisses the guy that is unknowingly living across the street -- OOOOOPPPSSS! Her and Carson had a lot of good chemistry. He's a single Dad, divorced after his wife left, not wanting to be their little girl's mother.....and he is so reluctant to a new relationship, for good reason. Emma is the town's children's librarian and is so passionate about her work. She is the one who cares for the people around her and never puts herself before others. Carson and Emma think they can be "just friends" but it ain't workin' out too well😂❤️

I loved seeing how devoted Carson was to his little girl Penny and how naturally Emma fit into their sweet family. I LOVEEE a single Dad story and Kasey gave us a good one here! A sweet little girl in a book brings so much depth to the story for me and Penny was the best.

Can we discuss how I frequently give 5 stars to romcoms that feature single parents, please help me understand why my heart turns to mush when the other person goes “I love you *and* your kid, your ex is the worst, and I will never leave/abandon both of you like they did.” Anyway, loved this fall love story. Also: props to everyone behaving like adults and talking through feelings– the tension came from normal circumstances (like, can I ever trust another person after what happened to me and how will these next steps affect my kid) and not contrived “omg, I have feelings, I better just squish ‘em down by kissing the girl.”

-My friends, FALLING FOR KEEPS, is an adorable story! It is so delightfully and cleverly filled with such pure goodness, that I was ever so intrigued, engaged, and smiling the entire time reading! The pages flew by fast and each moment within reading was well-spent. I thoroughly loved how this story had such delightful sparks of chemistry flying off the pages, the wonderful balance between heartwarming, fun, and tender/vulnerable moments along the way! The book references, the fall vibes, the first meet-cute, the dear family relationships, and the friends who are in for the long haul were extra sweet bonuses! But, what I loved most about this cute story was watching dear characters choose bravery, healing, trust, and unselfishness, and setting up healthy boundaries ! I loved watching them stand for, support, and encourage others in the struggle to be happy, and to give new possibilities, and connection a chance! I loved seeing how genuine care, compassion, hope, and loved were weaved within the pages and how they make such a wonderful difference for the better in one’s self, in each other, and with others all around! FALLING FOR KEEPS, is absolutely a story worth reading!📚🩷‼️🍁

The way this book started absolutely SUCKED ME IN from the very beginning. I adore Emma and Carson… and Penny! Their story is so sweet. Although they had a steamy start, their relationship was more of a slow burn the rest of the book. They built something real and truly learned to care for each other. We got a good sense of who they are as people and who they are as a couple. Love their new little family!

Cute read! My favorite part of this book was watching Emma fall in love with Carson’s daughter, Penny - it was just the sweetest! I also liked the emphasis placed on Carson finding ways to make Emma, as the eldest daughter trying to put everyone first, feel seen and cherished❤️‍🩹

This one wasn’t my favorite compared to the rest of the series, I think I had a harder time connecting to Carson, but I do enjoy the single parent trope!

I started this with immediate smiles and I couldn’t stop.

Everything was perfect!!

I loved the re-meet-cute. The chemistry was bursting so much I may have blushed.

Emma and Carson, sigh, where do I begin. I loved the mix up in the beginning. I loved the shock of being neighbors. I loved how kind and sweet and thoughtful Emma was. I loved how seriously Carson took his role of fatherhood, bringing stability and happiness to his daughter Penny and how easily she connected with Emma. I loved how much Carson and Emma set out to prove each other wrong regarding their insecurities: Carson thinking he’s not worth sticking around for, and Emma thinking she’s not enough.

I’m in love with this book, these characters, this town, this series!!!

I really loved this book! It’s the second book I’ve read in the Falling for Autumn multi-author series, and it did not disappoint.

Carson Price is a former high school star quarterback returning to his hometown over a decade later following a divorce. He brings along his nine-year-old daughter, Penny—and I absolutely adored that his nickname for her is Nickel! Too cute! After being deeply hurt by his ex-wife, Carson doesn't trust love or women, and he's fiercely protective of Penny, wanting to shield her from anyone who might abandon her again.

Enter Emma, a town librarian who was a year behind Carson in high school as the nerdy bookworm with braces and frizzy red hair. When they bump into each other at a bar a few towns over, spark-flying chemistry takes over leading to a no-strings-attached makeout session—assuming they’ll never cross paths again…especially because Carson doesn’t remember Emma from high school and doesn’t know she is from his hometown. Lo and behold, Carson discovers the very next day that Emma lives right across the street from his mom, where he’s staying!

Though Carson insists he isn't looking for a relationship, neither he nor Emma are the type to just hook up and pretend it never happened. They build a deep friendship packed with undeniable tension and chemistry. Watching Emma bond with Penny was one of my favorite parts; Penny desperately needed a strong female role model, and Emma was wonderful with her. I respected how mindful Emma was of Carson’s boundaries as a dad, constantly checking in with him first so she never overstepped.

Carson tried so hard to fight his feelings out of fear of getting hurt, protecting Penny, and feeling like he wasn't good enough for Emma. Yet, he couldn't help constantly looking for her whenever he entered a room. As the oldest sibling who took on the motherly role after losing her mom ten years ago, Emma is always putting others first. Carson steps up to show her that she deserves to be taken care of too—her saying towards the end that she had never felt cherished by anyone until him melted me!

Emma helps Carson heal, realize he isn't a failure, and learn to trust again, while Carson gives Emma the care she’s always given others. Plus, "The Ednas"—the town’s gossipy older women—were absolute gold! I love a small-town romance with funny, nosy locals.

Holy swoon! Falling for Keeps is one phenomenal single dad, second chance romcom that had me glued to my Kindle! It’s the 4th book in the Falling for Autumn series & just like the others, it’s an instant favorite! I adore Autumn Ridge & love seeing how these endearing characters all mesh. While reading Resisting the Fall, we met Carson, & I couldn’t wait to see this hot single dad find love again! Kasey Stockton definitely brings all the fiery kisses, sizzling romantic tension, & laugh-out-loud humor, along with fun fall vibes & heartwarming small-town charm!

I loved the way Carson & Emma meet again! He’s her longtime high school crush but doesn’t remember she was his little sister’s friend. When they see each other at a bar/restaurant in Burlington, the sparks fly & they end up sharing some passionate kisses. Thinking it’s a one-time thing, both are shocked when Carson moves in to his mother’s home in small-town Autumn Ridge & discovers Emma is her neighbor & the local children’s librarian.

Carson’s not looking for love, especially after a painful divorce, but Emma definitely gets under his skin, especially when he sees the way she interacts with his 9-year-old daughter. This handsome dentist doesn’t want to risk introducing another woman into his daughter’s life who might end up hurting her like her mom did. But he doesn’t want to see Emma dating her self-centered coworker either.

Emma fell for Carson years ago, but knows his heart is off-limits. It doesn’t stop her from giving Penny the love & motherly attention she craves & helping Carson at every turn. From baking bread to showing him how to braid hair, Emma keeps caring for them, helping Carson navigate fatherhood with no strings attached.

I loved their passionate kisses, mutual pining, all the DIY projects, & who knew cleaning glasses could be so hot?! I also adored Emma’s interactions with Penny, affectionately called “Nickel.” As the local children’s librarian, she has a way with kids, & I loved the care, nurturing, & bond she has with Penny.

Highest of recommendations! Though this is part of the closed door romcom series Falling for Autumn, it’s easily read as a standalone. The books are interconnected & can be read in any order. I received an advanced copy from the author but also read in Kindle Unlimited. All opinions are my own & voluntarily provided.

How could I not love a book about a children's librarian? And her neighbor and close friend (who also happens to be the MMC's mom) is named Sharon! Thanks for writing this book with me in mind, Kasey. ha ha

Emma is pure goodness. She puts everyone's needs above her own, takes her job and responsibilities seriously, loves and knows the children in town, and has too many DIY projects on her home that she doesn't have time to complete. Her downfall? Karaoke. It seems to put her in some nontypical for her situations.

Carson is a dentist fresh off of a painful divorce. He had to move back home so his mom could help with his adorable 9 year old daughter who he has full custody of. He is not interested in relationships and wants to avoid the town gossip unless it's that they have a good dentist in town now.

They knew each other in HS, even though he doesn't remember her at all. She was quiet, and book absorbed- he was a legend for leading the football team to a state championship. Their first re-meet, and especially the re-re-meet is hilarious. No spoilers here.

"Now I really need to kill this crush. Pour Roundup on it until it shrivels to dust."

His focus is on his daughter, but being neighbors does give them chances to interact. She can help braid his daughter's hair, paint her room, help with his office restyle, and be a good sounding board -while he promises to help with her renovations. Just friends. That's all, nothing more. They keep reminding themselves and everyone else who notices- but it gets harder and harder.

"I'm unavailable. I can't trust my heart to anyone else. It's been tossed into a blender and set to smoothie, and there's no putting it back together."

I love the book references, the sweetness of the relationship with his family, her friend group- who we get to learn a lot of about in the series, and their stolen moments.

"A healthy relationship and real love won't make the hard things disappear, but it does mean someone is walking beside you. That's how they lighten your load-- how you lighten each other's"

Cue the applause because Falling for Keeps is charming and swoony and adorable and heartfelt and totally a five star read you will not want to miss and deserves all the clapping and happy sighs. I loved this adorable small-town romance!
From the very opening chapter with Emma and Carson’s (re)meet cute, I knew this book was going to be good. I was definitely interested in seeing where their story would go and totally fell in love with these characters throughout the book.
Carson is a stud and such a good dad. He moves back home to Autumn Ridge with his adorable daughter Penny to open a new dental practice and start over. I want to give kudos to Kasey for rocking the single dad trope in a way that someone who might be picky about the single dad trope—hi, it’s me, I’m picky with this trope—will find it so fabulous and realistic and touching it made me a fan and it is now one of my favorite single dad trope books ever. Carson and Penny had such a good bond and I love how he put her first and cared for her in all the ways a dad should. Seriously, I can see why Emma was attracted to him for it.
Speaking of Emma, I felt a bit of a kindred spirit with her character and was so happy she got her happily ever after. I love how she showed up for people in this book and for herself. She was so sweet with Penny and her chemistry with Carson was undeniable.
This book was full of great, memorable moments, dual POV, delightful kisses, fun autumn vibes, small-town feels, and sweet romance. It even has the added fun of the sibling mashups from the other series’s books for both Carson and Emma which I enjoyed seeing. I really loved it and totally recommend it.
I was able to read an early version of this book and listen to the unabridged audiobook. It’s definitely a reread kind of comfort story. The narrators, Stephanie Rose and Logan Anare, were excellent and I really enjoyed the way they brought this story to life.

This was a sweet, neighbours-to-lovers romance. When Carson notices Emma at a bar, he doesn't recognise her as someone from his hometown, but she recognises him. They share a passionate, but no-strings-attached kiss and go their separate ways. The next day, both are surprised to find out that they are now neighbours, since he and his daughter moved in with his mother. Carson isn't interested in a relationship after his divorce. So the two ignore their chemistry and decide to be friends. Let's see how long that lasts, hey?

Carson and Emma were so sweet with each other, especially Emma. She was so helpful and selfless, the kind of person it would be said of "her mother raised her right". I loved her interactions with Penny, Carson's daughter. But as helpful as she was, she needed to learn to let others help her, while Carson had to learn to let himself love again when there are no guarantees for the future.

I also loved the little reference to these authors' last series together, Falling For Summer. If you've read that series too, did you catch the reference?

Ooh, there's just something about an early kiss that will have me falling every single time. And my goodness, what a kiss it was! The chemistry between Emma and Carson was flying off the pages right from the very beginning... but they'd agreed it was a one time, no-strings-attached kiss... until they, in true romance novel fashion, discover they are now new neighbors and will be seeing a lot more of each other than expected! Seriously though, I just adored these two together. Emma is a librarian, and I always love a good bookish character, but more than that, she was just a really likeable one too. Is it really any wonder that Carson and his daughter couldn't help but be drawn to her? Carson was the perfect single girl dad. I loved how he was with his daughter... it was truly the sweetest relationship. Penny was such a great part of the story, adding both emotion and humor. Emma fit in with them so effortlessly, and I couldn't help but love the interactions between all three of them. With all the fall vibes and small-town antics, their story felt cozy and warm... and I simply adored it!

Falling for Keeps is a closed-door romance with kisses only and no language. It is part of the Falling for Autumn series- a multi author series all taking place in the same small town of Autumn Ridge. While you could definitely enjoy this one as a standalone as well, I definitely think seeing different town happenings from the various POVs makes the reading experience all the more fun!

What a fun read! Emma and Carson’s chemistry is on fire from the start, and it’s so fun to watch them attempt to put out the flame. Their dynamic works so well, it was tough to remember they aren’t real people falling in love.

Emma is a stereotypical eldest daughter constantly organizing and doing things for others. She’s a real Acts of Service gal. Thank goodness Carson shows up to lighten the load & show her there’s people out there who cherish her. So sweet!

Carson did frustrate me at times. I don’t love that he never recognized Emma on his own… you’re telling me you TA’d together in HS… in a very small town… and it doesn’t dawn on you ONCE that “hey, I do remember you,” without her saying it??? Otherwise, he is a well-written dad! He puts his daughter first, and I loved reading how much he sacrificed for her! Penny is a precious girl!

I received an early copy of this book, so I read it first in the multi-author series. To best enjoy the experience, I would recommend reading the other three released Falling for Autumn books. Yes, each book technically stands alone, but the characters are so interconnected that I wish I would have started from the beginning. I’m working on back-tracking now!

I cannot get enough of Autumn Ridge, Vermont!
I loved Carson and Emma’s story so much. He’s a single dad burned by relationships and not quite ready to jump back in. She’s a bookish eldest daughter who is so focused on everyone else that she barely takes time to figure out what she wants.
Emma’s daily affirmations app may be the MVP of the book. Haha! Emma finds so much power to go after what she wants and to make changes just from a simple daily nudge. She has so much in her life and seeing her figure out that she’s allowed to want more was so empowering. I really related to Emma and her realization that as good as life is, there is still something missing. It tugged so hard at my heartstrings as she worked her way toward finding love and companionship.
Carson has some pretty heavy burdens to bear and I loved seeing his friends and family rally around him as he navigated single parenting, professional obligations, and his budding feelings for a certain librarian. I loved his relationship with his daughter, Penny, and with his mother, who has done the single parenting thing that he’s still trying to figure out. He definitely needed a kick in the pants every so often to keep him moving toward Emma.
I really appreciated that both characters had great support systems between their friends, family, and neighbors. Autumn Ridge knows how to come together for one (or two) of their own!
This single dad, small town romance is the 4th book in the Falling For Autumn multi-author series set in Autumn Ridge, Vermont. The who series makes me want to curl up with a hot apple cider and daydream of New England.

I fell in love with Penny and Carson in Resisting the Fall and loved getting to learn even more about their story and really get to know Emma, who is an absolute gem of a fictional human.

Carson is a recently divorced single dad of 9yo Penny. He goes out for a night with friends outside of town and does something totally uncharacteristic of him, after ten years of not even thinking of another woman, he kisses Emma thinking they will never see each other again.

Fast forward to the next morning and Emma goes to her neighbors house to borrow some flour and she finds Carson in the kitchen.

After moving back home to Autumn Ridge for a fresh start the last thing Carson expects to find in his mom’s kitchen is the woman he kissed senseless the night before but he can’t stop thinking about her, no matter how hard he tries to just focus on getting his life back on track.

I absolutely loved this one! It was full of insightful wisdom about love and healing and I loved Penny’s blossoming relationship with Emma. Carson has some great character growth as well and learned a lot about love along the way. I would definitely recommend this one! I devoured it in one day and it left me feeling like a warm hug! Cozy fall
Vibes for sure- now someone take me someplace with seasons because I’m getting really sick of this 100+ degree weather! I need some pumpkin spice and leaves and that crisp fall air! But until then I will just jeep reading this multi author series and turn down my AC and just pretend! ❤️🍁💛🍂🧡

All right, shout-out to Coventry for telling me about Kasey's IG story saying she had a few ALC copies of this story. I figured it couldn't hurt to ask if she'd given all of them out, and bless my little cotton socks (did any of you ever watch Kid President back in the day?), she still had some. So yesterday, I downloaded this cutie from NetGalley, and today while home from church with a sick kid, I did a puzzle and binged this.

I love Emma and Carson and Penny! This was just so sweet. Emma and Carson have a high-chemistry moment while they're both at a bar in Burlington, and they end up sharing an electric kiss, expecting to never see each other again. Joke's on them because Carson just moved in with his mom, who happens to live across the street from Emma in Autumn Ridge.

I loved how well Penny clicked with Emma and how protective Carson was of his daughter. I really enjoyed seeing Carson work through his fears and seeing him show up for Emma. The scene where he and Penny showed her that she was worth making time for had me grinning.

This was adorable! I was so excited to start this story and it was so good! Emma and Carson were so sweet together and I loved Penny. Autumn Ridge is so cozy and so fun to return to.
Emma was so sweet! I definitely related to her as a fellow book lover and an oldest daughter myself! She was constantly doing things for others and trying to care for them. Emma was learning how to let others help her. She was looking for her Happily Ever After, but felt a bit stuck. Carson was adorable! I loved how he took care of Emma and how tangible it was. He was thoughtful and so sweet. Carson was also an incredible dad to Penny! He so obviously prioritized her and so many of his choices were centered around her. Carson felt the weight of returning home divorced and needing a fresh start. He was determined not to fall in love, but felt so drawn to Emma.
I loved Emma and Carson together! It was so sweet to watch them work together on the clinic and how he showed up for her. I also loved the way Emma connected with Penny! Emma was so genuine in wanting to support her and help her. Penny was definitely one of my favorite characters in this, but I also loved seeing all the characters in a different POV. Having the opportunity to read multiple books in the series really adds to the depth of the world! This is a sweet romcom with only kisses.

There’s not much that makes me more giddy than a meet-cute with an instant sizzle amidst the awkward. When Emma and Carson meet again, he has no idea who she is, but that doesn’t stop the immediate and flirtatious attraction from forming. I was swooning and falling hard from the very first chapter!

Single dad Carson is back in town to take over a dental practice and Emma is the local children’s librarian. All the small town vibes, along with favorite locals and characters, melt into an incredibly warm, sweet, and lovable romcom that delivers all the charm and every feel.

I absolutely adore everything about Carson and Emma. Give me a story with a bookish character and it’s an immediate bonus, and the precocious Penny enchanted me. Put these delightful characters in the middle of all the cozy autumn activities with all the delicious fall treats and I’m obsessed.

Kasey Stockton is a favorite author who instantly drew me right into these pages. This one is perfect for any cozy and closed door romcom lover.

Very sweet friends to lovers, single dad, fall romance!

I loved all of the fall vibes of this story! It absolutely made me what to love in this town and be a part of their community!

Emma is so sweet and I love how much she cares for those around her! We get to follow along on her journey as she learns to let others take care of her too and that she is worthy of love and happiness without having to run herself ragged.

Carson is also so fun, even though he’s struggling with being a single dad and balancing that with pursuing his own happiness. We get to follow along with his story as he learns to trust and allow Emma into his life after his recent divorce.

Penny is also such a delight! It’s so fun to get to learn more about her after seeing her with her Aunt Maven in Resisting the Fall!

Also, I need more of the Edna’s. Always more.

I absolutely recommend this book to anyone who loves friends to lovers, single dad, small town, and fall romance.

How is this the fourth book of this series already?! This series has been perfect for all the fall vibes! 🍂

I am not usually into the early kisses but even with the early kiss this still felt like a good slow burn.

Emma was such a sweet FMC. ♥️ She loved taking care of her family and others whenever they asked. It’s definitely relatable to want to say yes to everyone and then almost run yourself dry. It was so lovely to watch Carson take care of her and tell she can let someone else take care of her sometimes. I loved her love for books and the fact she was a librarian. I loved reading her interactions with Penny.

I have a small soft spot of single dads and Carson definitely took hold of that soft spot. I loved the way he handled his ex and parenting Penny in such a healthy way. Watching him fight his feeling for Emma because of his divorce but he slowly gave in to her was *chef’s kiss*. 😘 Emma definitely fell first but he fell harder once he finally put his past behind him, made sure Penny loved Emma first and admit his feelings.

I thought the Ednas would be annoying when I first started this series but they are 100% growing on me. I love their metaling ways at times.

I loved everything about this book! Emma and Carson are such great characters. I also love Penny. And all of Autumn Ridge. It's the best!

I love how Emma and Carson meet...well meet again. It was kind of funny how Emma knew exactly who he was, but he had no idea who she was. But pretty soon he figures out that she lives across the street from his mom, where he is living as he gets his new dental practice set up in Autumn Ridge. He's so great with his daughter, Penny, especially as she's navigating her new world of just having him for a parent.

Emma is the town librarian, and she's so good with kids. That makes her a natural for when Penny needs things like braids in her hair for school, or help making friends. Emma is the kind of person who would do anything for the people she loves. And she does.

I loved that this book made me laugh, it made me wish for fall, pumpkins, and homemade cookies. It's the best!

I absolutely adored this book so so much😍 It was such a sweet, swoony read and I loved Carson and Emma together!

I’m also loving the ongoing bet about Mayor Monroe and his potential dates throughout all the books in this series😂 It’s such a fun little subplot to see continue from book to book!

Carson’s daughter, Penny, was one of my absolute favorites in this story🥹 I loved her spirit and personality so much, and I adored seeing her relationship with Emma develop💕

And Carson and Emma’s chemistry?! SO GOOD. There was so much sizzling chemistry and yearning between these two, and I ate it up😍💕

This was such a sweet, cozy small town romance with all the fall vibes and I absolutely loved it🥰🍂

Falling for keeps is such a cute and fun fall vibes love story! And it reminded me a bit of my husband and I’s love story. (He’s the dentist, I’m the bookish girl. He doesn’t remember meeting me the first time.)

I think Penny may have stolen the show for all the best reasons. She’s so cute and sweet and just wants to be a kid and also feel loved and wanted. I loved how Emma would braid her hair and all the fun “would you rather” questions. And of course the fact that she would paint her dad’s fingernails. So sweet.

I’m so excited to continue reading this series and see how all the other love stories unfold.

THIS WAS CUTE & COZY & IM JUST OBSESSED WITH THIS SERIES.

Okay so the single dad trope is never my fav thing just because I feel like so many times the romance overpowers the whole him-being-a-dad thing but THIS did not. Carson ALWAYS put Penny first in every single moment & I adored him for it. Penny is his girl & he had her best interest on his mind throughout this entire story. No one went up to bat for Penny more than he did.
I am so glad he opened up to love enough to let Emma in & love her too (easy decision, duh. Emma's amazing)

This books was so selfless on all parts (eldest child in them both? Maybe. Idk but I loved it). Just two fixers helping fix each other throughout 🥹

This was a lovely story with a cute romance.
I really enjoyed the fall atmosphere; I can already picture the beautiful scenery of this fictional little town in Vermont 🍁☕
I liked how Emma and Carson always put the well-being of his young daughter first, while at the same time giving themselves a chance to find happiness and love.
The chemistry between them was great 😍 and I was very happy with the ending—especially the extended epilogue, which is so sweet!
I’ll be reading other books in this series as well.

Ohhhhhh I adored Emma and Carson from the get go. Their first kiss was a moment that was out of character for both of them but led to lots of delightful chemistry and awkward run ins as their relationship formed into something deeper. I turned the pages on this book so fast!

-Penny- she was a perfect 9 year old. My heart broke for her a lot but she definitely added so much to their story.
