The Spitting Scene: Vane’s POV by Nikki St. Crowe is a quick, 20-minute audiobook bonus chapter. It doesn’t add much to the original scene, but I enjoyed experiencing it from Vane’s perspective. Short, spicy and unnecessary—but fun for fans of the series!

Get ready for… nothing. It’s the exact same as the first book pretty much. I don’t know why they recommend you wait till you finish the series to listen to that because you find out in book 2 whether or not Vane is interested. Honestly it would have been nice to listen to that right after the spiting scene in book 1. So you’re not out here thinking all kinds of things about Vane. I do like how in this the Shadow gets thoughts. He doesn’t really in the books. But also again with the single narration. Why is he trying to do a female voice. Ahhhh. Honestly it’s a pass for me.

Totally not necessary in this series lol. Obviously super quick of Vane saying how bad he wants to fuck Winnie but just spits in her mouth initially instead. Just his POV instead of hers from the other book!

Nothing different from the original, at least nothing earth shattering.

This book is a small novella that takes place in one of the scenes from another Nikki St Crowe book in the Peter Pan universe. It was very spicy and should not be read by children or young adults

I like seeing from Vane's POV that he is in fact interested in Winnie. But, the spitting gave me a bit of the ick.

This really adds nothing to the series. It felt like a repeat of the scene in book 1.

This is a very quick listen but you get this scene and a little bit before from Vane's POV. If you are listening to or reading this series you will like it.

This is a snap shot of Vane and Winnie during the Never King book #1, Vanes POV.
Pan has just killed the lost boy stupid enough to kiss her.
- It was not a necessary novella but super fun.
- It was nice to see from Vane's POV that he did like Winnie and was just avoiding the dark shadow inside.
