I literally devoured this book in one sitting. It was a really entertaining read. It gave off both Totally Spies vibes and Charlie’s Angels vibes with Mr.Mystery. It was a good time with lots of funny humour. As well, it is a quick read, easy to follow and get through. I’m also very thankful to have been able to receive an ARC of this novel. Definitely recommend.

If you ever wanted to read a book that was an adult version of totally spies and Kim possible mixed then this is the book for you. The author says that it’s somewhat cheesy, but I actually found it to be very fun. The pace was great and kept me engaged the entire time I was reading. You really find yourself rooting for each of the characters throughout the book and finishing it within 24 hours of starting, it should really show how great this book was. Definitely go out and buy this book!

Action Girlie Pop was one of the most fun books I've ever read! Nicole has a way of putting you in the moment where it should feel cheesy, but instead you're kicking your feet and rooting for the women. The characters, the plot, the quick read- it was all done so well, and I hope this series gets extended! I didn't see the plot twist at the end, and it was sooooo satisfying!

I used to be obsessed with Totally Spies when I was younger and this story gives off Totally Spies energy in all the best ways. The jokes, the girl best friend/ team work, the missions, etc. I loved it. This book had me laughing non stop. I LOVE the sense of humor between the three girls.
I also did NOT see that ending coming and I will never look at fruit the same way.

ARC Review:
This book read like adult modern day Powerpuff girls and I absolutely loved it, and it was like hanging out with my friends! This was such a fun/silly read and kept me engaged the entire time. I would def reccomended this if you’re looking for a short read that makes your smile and want to ignore reality for a bit.
I immediately knew I was going to like this book from the trigger warning page and then I stumbled upon the preface page and was absolutely locked in, especially when this comes across my screen: : )
Duke Goingtodie, 12/10 craftsmanship and I’m sure you’ll get flack for this but the humor is unmatched for me. I honestly loved all the puns and tag lines!

Such a fun read! Made me think of Charlie’s angels mixed with power puff girls. The jokes were hilariously dumb and the premise made it such a light read. The three women were girl bosses all in their own way and were so supportive of one another. I also thought naming the bad guy Dick Dickard and his backstory of hating fruits was hilarious 🤣 I definitely recommend this book as a palette cleanser!

If you want a very unserious, hilarious, palette cleanser this is the perfect book for you. It’s a super quick read, and will have you cackling the whole time. Also the perfect read to get you out of a reading slump!

This book is so good. It’s the perfect book for all the autism powers lovers. Who also loved the power puff girls. And totally spies…and Charlie’s angels. It’s all of those mixed into one hilarious book. I was laughing out loud throughout the book. And I love that everyone can relate to at least one of the girlies, if not all of them a little bit. Nicole’s mind has to be a hilariously interesting place to be. The gadgets?! So good. The names throughout the book are too good. I am pretty sure I highlighted most of them. 🤣

ARC Review - Thanks for the opportunity to read this!

This was presented as Totally Spies aged up and it totally delivered.
I grew up watching Totally Spies and the Charlie’s Angels movies so this fell right in line with those. You followed along with Molly, one of the KAM agents and her mediocre love life along with her super cool job. All the main characters felt bright, had their own unique qualities and this led to a really fluffy and fun read. The other two agents Kiley, my favorite, and Alice were equally as fun to hear from but Kiley was nuts and a blast to check in with.
This book really goes for the ridiculousness and that was such a breath of fresh air from all the formulaic romcom types were drowning in right now. This was girl power without the disclaimers. Though this books trigger warning and forward left me laughing.
I rounded up on my rating for Goodreads but personally I felt a 4.5 for ACTION GIRLIE POP. There were really minor things like not knowing the main characters name for a few chapters since she was introduced with a perspective chapter headline instead of the others which were introduced in dialogue. So sniper minor thing that made me a little confused.
The only other thing was the super obviousness of bad guy names and actions. And this wasn’t really something I took away points for, I just didn’t know how to take it. So I just leaned into it like the humor for Charlie’s Angels and Totally Spies.
Those little things aside, this book was just so fun. I found myself looking forward to reading more about them. Can’t wait to see where this series goes.

Fun, Funny, Action-Packed, and Full of Girl Power!
Action Girlie Pop was such a fun read! I really enjoyed getting to know Kiley, Alice, and Molly and seeing how their seemingly normal lives were completely different from what they appeared to be. The idea of three women living double lives while secretly working as agents for a covert organization made the story really entertaining.
I loved the combination of action, humor, friendship, gadgets, and girl power. Each of the women brings her own personality to the story, and I really enjoyed seeing them work together. Their friendship and teamwork were some of my favorite parts because they made the story feel more than just an action-packed adventure.
The humor was another huge highlight for me. There are plenty of moments that genuinely made me laugh, and the dirty jokes definitely add to the book's playful personality. The story doesn't take itself too seriously, which made it an easy and enjoyable read.
I also loved the overall concept of ordinary women secretly being capable agents when called upon. It gave the book a fun, almost movie-like feel, and I could easily picture these characters having their own action-comedy series.
Nicole Mikell did a great job creating a story that feels fun, energetic, humorous, and empowering. If you enjoy strong female characters, secret identities, action, friendship, and a good amount of comedy, I definitely recommend giving Action Girlie Pop a try.

This book somehow managed to make me giggle while kicking my feet AND question society in the same chapter! This book is absolute chaos in the best way possible. I knew what I signed up for with his book. I saw the tropes and immediately said yes. It didn't disappoint. The humor is sharp, unhinged, and perfectly timed.
The political undertones? Chef's kiss. It never felt preachy or heavy. Nicole Mikell somehow made government nonsense, inflated egos, and unnecessary bureaucracy genuinely funny. And in today's political climate, sometimes you need to laugh about it, because the alternative is to cry. (LOL)
The women? ICONS.
The comebacks? FABULOUS.
The men getting humbled? DELICIOUS.
"Only the sounds of the forest and its inhabitant surround us and I always find it comforting where most would find it scary. Knowing what man can do, I would always pick the bear."
Underneath the chaos is a genuinely empowering message. The women in this story aren't perfect. They're stubborn, messy, sarcastic and fueled by pure spite, but that's what make them loveable and relatable. They're badass, and they stand up for themselves just as much as they do each other. This time they’re investigating the highly popular drink Fruity Freeze that is making people act strangely. But a standard undercover op takes on even more urgency when things get personal for the team. It’s time to clean up the fruity mess for good.
Oh my goodness, this book was so much fun. It has terrible jokes, highly suggestive names, and completely implausible tech (poisonous tampon darts, anyone??). It was just an absolute blast to read.
This isn’t a romance - it’s a kick-ass action novella. There is no spice but the jokes and language are definitely a little naughty. It isn’t really a triggers book unless you need to know the humour is very cheesy.

The moment that I picked up this book and started reading, I knew I wouldn’t put it down until I finished it. I do wish that it were a full-length book; I didn’t want it to end. However, I am excited that there is going to be more of Action Girlie Pop! I can’t recommend this novella enough; be ready for laughter, kickass women, and adventure of a lifetime.

This was such a fun, ridiculous read! It felt like the perfect nostalgia blend of Charlie’s Angels, The Powerpuff Girls, and Austin Powers, and I was totally here for it. 😂
The comic book side was definitely corny and cheesy, but honestly, it worked. The humor was so over the top that I think that’s what made it fun.
The whole Fruity Freeze situation had me cracking up. Kids AND adults are basically in a hypnotic trance, addicted to this latest fruit drink craze, and it’s literally all they consume. Like… what could possibly go wrong? 😂 And of course, we have Richard Dickard masterminding the whole thing. The name alone. 💀
I did actually figure out the twist at the end, but I did NOT see someone losing their fruit coming. 🙃😂 That was definitely a WAIT… WHAT?! moment.
Overall, this was just a silly, cheesy, nostalgic, action packed good time. It knows exactly what it is and fully commits to it, and I had a blast reading it.

Action Girlie Pop was everything I needed! Think Charlie's Angels meets comic book camp, girl power turned all the way up, ridiculous villains you can't help but smile. Fun action plot with explosions, sass, and bombshell vibes.
This book didn't take itself too seriously, and that's exactly why I loved it. It was fast, fun, unapologetically over the top. I was cheering these spy girls throughout.
If you're looking for a in between series standalone that's packed with action, friendship, and chaotic fun, pick this one up. And if you know... 🍓 you know.

This was such a fun, action-packed novella filled with hilarious moments, unexpected twists, and some of the best secret-agent gadgets! I mean, hello… poison tampon dart?!
It gave me Charlie’s Angels meets The Powerpuff Girls vibes, and honestly, who doesn’t love a group of badass women kicking an evil billionaire’s ass? And that twist?! I’m actually disappointed in myself for not seeing it coming! So entertaining!!

Will they be able to stop Fruity Freeze before it’s too late?
Okay, this was a mash-up of Charlie's Angels and Totally Spies and I was so here for it. I loved the dynamic between the three women as they infiltrate Fruity Freeze and take them down from the inside. I saw the big twist coming, and I was okay with it. This felt super campy and read as a hilarious Totally Spies episode if they were a little more like the Angels. I thought there was going to be some sort of spice? But I’m actually happy this had absolutely no romance and was perfect for a nice palate cleanser. Loved this one.

This novella is absolutely what I needed.
Hilariously ridiculous and as satisfying as a double cheeseburger.
Think Charlie's Angels meets the Powderpuff Girls - nifty gadgets, evil billionaires plotting to take over the world and a group of kickass women thwarting their plans.
KAM agents - Kiley, Alice and Molly are secret, lethal agents.
Working under the guidance of Mr. Mystery they protect the world from evil men. Their newest mission has them scrambling to find out the secrets behind a suspicious beverage company, Fruity Freeze. Will the agents stop the company from turning everyone into mindless fruit freeze zombies? You'll have to read yourselves to find out.
Nicole is one of my auto buys and I wasn't disappointed. I was laughing so hard during this read. Sometimes you just need a book that doesn't take life too seriously.

Nicole Mikell's Action Girlie Pop was my first introduction to her work, and it certainly won't be my last. Her sharp humor shines throughout the novel, and the character banter is one of the book's greatest strengths. Even the villains are memorable, thanks in part to their hilariously creative names.
Fans of Charlie’s Angels will feel right at home with the KAM agents, a team that is smart, bold, and full of personality. Once I figured out what KAM stood for, I was completely invested in their adventures.
The pacing keeps the story moving, making it an easy and enjoyable read. My only wish is that there had been more of it. If you're in the mood for a fun, fast-paced, feel-good book, I highly recommend giving this one a try.

A cheesy good read, with 3 FMCs being secret agents. They go from stealing a precious diamond to protecting a princess to saving the world from a juice drink that has dangerous side effects.
This was a super quick read, full of cheesy jokes & corny one liners. Perfect for a quick pick me up read if you’re in a reading slump! The book screams “Girl Power” without being over the top. It’s the perfect cross between Charlie’s Angels, with the mysterious boss & 3 hot agents, & Get Smart with the super savvy tech gear.
You’re pretty much guaranteed to laugh quite a few times while reading, between the banter, the scenes described & the outcome.

Action Girlie Pop is exactly what it promises to be: short, sharp, and packed with chaotic humour. The pacing is quick, the jokes land, and the whole thing has an easy, entertaining vibe that makes it perfect for a one sitting read.
The characters are delightfully over the top, and their names alone had me laughing more than once. It’s the kind of book that doesn’t take itself too seriously, and that’s where the charm really comes through — it’s playful, energetic, and just plain fun.
If you’re after something light, humorous, and fast paced, this is a great little pick me up. A nice, enjoyable short book with plenty of personality.

This book had me hooked at the trigger warning “men die.”
This is an absolutely hilarious book and everybody needs to read it. If you love cheesy action comics, the Powerpuff Girls and Charlie’s Angels, then you will love Action Girlie Pop.
I loved the KAM girls, they are all badass. I especially loved Kiley, a mam of 4, who is a superhero in my eyes, balancing secret missions whilst raising her family.
All of the names of the characters proper had me chuckling and I loved the Fruity Freeze mission. I could definitely imagine this as a graphic novel.
This is fast paced, funny and action packed. I want more!!!

The story follows the KAM Agents—Kiley,Molly, and Alice, three women who live “normal” lives, while also having a second identity working as undercover agents for a secret organization led by "Mr. Mystery". When a new beverage named Fruity Freeze starts causing its consumers to display bizarre behavior, the group is summoned to investigate, only to find something much more sinister at hand.
This book made me laugh at the over the top absurdity of it all (which I was aware of going in!), hilarious, cringey banter and jokes, and friendships that will survive the ages. This was such a funny parody of a classic spy novel, but with a twist of the Power Puff Girls!
