Book one of the series. This was a good short read. It's about three friends who are attached and unbreakable for years until their lives suddenly change. Ryan gets a deal in California before Cooper and Ansley separate for collage. I enjoyed the read and am curious as to how Cooper will reveal his feelings for Ansley. (ARC)
This was a good start to the series so far but I wasn’t expecting it to end like it did. It was shorter than I realized and stopped just when it was getting interesting. Cooper maybe be too big of a player for me but I’ll wait and see if he redeems himself. On to the next book then.
Quick read just a little glimpse into the life of 3 friends Ryan Ansley and cooper been friends for years but soon they will be going there separate ways on the day coop and Ansley part there is a kiss but that's where it ends then you get look at the next novella cooper is finally finishing college and moving to California will he and Ansley reconnect or won't they coop is a big time player so we will see 3 1/2 Stars!!!!
This story is great starting point on the lives of three best friends. While I enjoyed the characters I felt as though there was not much of a story yet as it started out slow. Will Ansley, Cooper and Ryan’s friendship be tested after high school and their new adventures? I do look forward to spending more time with each of them and finding out where their lives are heading.
First time Paige Steele reader...the books was good...has the makings of a good series. I wish I had time RIGHT NOW to get to the climax of this possible triangle maybe? (I really don't know where this series is going lol). I enjoyed the background and look forward to reading more soon.
It's Summer and I love short and fun reads. Dirty Friends is just that, a perfect read to enjoy while relaxing out in the sun or simply relaxing with a glass of wine.
This debut was an enjoyable read for me. I immediately loved the characters. They were realistic and entertaining. In this story, three friends enjoy their high school years together. Cooper, Ryan and Ansley have great chemistry with each other. It was easy to see how these boys would become so protective of their friend/neighbor. Friendly banter between these characters also makes for a lighthearted read.
Additionally, I enjoyed the well written motocross scenes. As a mother of two boys, I was able to picture their race outings as well as the atmosphere in these races. The scenes in this book were clearly well researched and well written.
As the story evolves, time passes and the three friends embark on their own journeys. Being apart proves to be more than expected for these friends. Then, there is a kiss, one that can make or break a friendship.
Ms. Steele, I was left wanting more. I look forward to the next book in this series. I can't wait to see what develops and how their adult lives continue.
I gave this book 4 stars! Congrats on your book! And, I love the cover!!!
Grab your flip flops, bikini, your Kindle and your beach chair. Enjoy Dirty Friends, a perfect Summer Read.
I was pulled right into this short story. The story has laughs, betrayal, and heartbreak.
Cooper and Ryan are best friends. They enjoy going to the dirt bike races and competing with other racers. When Ansley moves next door they become friends with her but also protectors of her. With them being all only children they bond fast and are as close as brother and sister. Through all of the girlfriends and boyfriends they manage to still hang out with each other. After graduation they were all planning to move away but what happens when one is moving before that time? Will it throw off the balance? What happens when one person’s feelings are growing and a kiss happens? Will that ruin everything?
I loved these three characters. You get to know Cooper and Ansley more than Ryan but can’t wait to get to know them all a little more. I felt I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read.
I highly recommend this book and can’t wait for the next story in this series.
I love this book!! What a fantastic start to a new series!!!
Cooper and Ryan are best friends when Ansley moves into the house between them. The guys bring Ansley into their friendship and become her protectors. The guys love Motocross and Ansley is one of their biggest fans. As they grow and start dating the guys are typical guys and no one is good enough for Ansley. But as in all things in life change come.
Will the kiss change things? Will separation change who they really are? What will Cooper's future hold? Will Ryan continue to be Ryan? Will Ansley still be their best friend? Is Motocross their future or their demise? Read this book for answers..you won't be sorry!!
I was drawn into this book from page one. The storyline and character development are so believable!! In this first book we get to know Cooper better than we do Ryan but I can't wait for the next book to see what the future has in store for these 3 best friends!!
Coop and Ryan are typical high school boys that have grown up most of their lives around each other, living only two doors down from each other. They play the field every chance they get. Ansley lives smack dab between them and together they become the three musketeers - best friends who look out for each other. Paige Steele did an excellent job developing the characters, their friendships and interactions. Each has a different family dynamic that gives insight into the lives that many teenagers face - loving parents; parents who are not present in their child's life; a single mom, often working to make ends meet. Together they form bonds that see them through. I can't wait to see how they deal with life after high school when their futures seem to be pulling them apart. Can their friendships survive? What does their future hold and will it include the other two?
Wow! I absolutely loved this story. Dirty Friends is a short quick read and it will definitely leave you wanting more.
Best friends Cooper and Ryan live a house apart from each other. They both love Motocross. Ansley lives in between the two of them. They all become great friends. As they get older Ryan and Cooper get more involved in motocross and have their choice of girls. They are always protective of Ansley but I did wonder if any of them wanted more.
Live changes for all of them. They start to go their separate ways. There is a kiss and live pulling them in different directions that change the dynamic of their friendships.
It's a really good book. You won't be disappointed with the great storyline and hot motocross riders. There is a sneak peak of book two, Ridin' Dirty at the end of Dirty Friends. I can't wait to read the next one to see what happens with Ryan, Cooper, and Ansley.
3 best friends...each coming into their own in one way or another. Something is brewing deep down between two of them. What happened?!? A kiss..what does it mean?? Does it mean anything?? At this point no one knows. But I am damn sure I will find out and I can't wait for the next part of their life's journey to begin.
Can Ryan, Cooper and Ansley's friendship survive growing up and venturing into adulthood. Will Cooper and Ansley ever admit they want more? Do they? How will a change in their dynamic effect Ryan?

I really enjoyed Dirty Friends. It's a short fun read. I really liked the characters, can't wait to read more about them. I feel that it's just getting started, telling you about the relationships and what their doing. It's a long period in a short book but the author made it work wonderful. I can't wait to get the second book. I feel something is going to happen in the second book, we're either going to love or hate, I not sure what tho.
I enjoyed this book ...not gonna lie seeing places you actually live near ..in a book ..is a bit exciting ..that doesn't normally happen #SouthwestGaGirl ....Loved these characters ...These 3 have a special relationship and it was great reading about it....Really liked Ansley's character ....the guys clearly care about her and her them ...I can't wait to see what's up next for these three...Recommended Read!!
I really enjoyed Paige's first book in her first series. You can tell her characters are young, and struggling with life in general. Connor and Ansley's attraction made me mad though...you knew there were some deep feelings between them, yet they never saw it clearly enough. At the end, I knew I needed more, so I started the next one! I also love that this series is a dirt bike/BMX one. I'm learning a lot about dirt bike racing. Interesting facts!
Great start to a promising writing career. The characters are likable and realistic. It give a good peek into the world of motocross. It is obvious Ms. Steele has first hand knowledge of the sport. The three childhood friends are great characters to become acquainted with. I can't wait for the next book.
I received this as an ARC. I was sucked right in and couldn't put it down. I love the dynamics of the friendships that were forged. The characters are likable, so much so you want to be part of the group. Loved the entire novella.
Great story about true friendship and growing up cheering each other on. I love the alpha male attitude Ry and Coop have towards Ans, it cute to see them protecting their bestie
I loved this debut novella. I loved the friendship between the two men and then Ansley comes into the mix and there is a great dynamic between all of them. I loved that there was a common denominator, motocross, through the whole story too.
I can't wait to read the rest of their story together!
This is the first book I read from this author and I gotta say it won't be the last. I loved how close the 3 main characters were. I can't wait to read the next in the series to see how it all plays out.
It started out feeling a little young for me, but I quickly got absorbed. Love their friendship and whatever it is brewing. Cannot wait to see what comes next.
