Although I didn't read the whole thing, I was fascinated with and kept going back to the table at about page 40 which mapped out the acoustic piano market into roughly 5 categories ranging from Consumer through various levels of professional pianos. I found especially intriguing that digital pianos were totally absent from that table.

At another place it noted that digital pianos lose value much more quickly, and also seems to be less durable.

Of course, this Volume is also obsolete since the web site is kept current and there is a 2017 edition out.
