This recipe book is AWESOME - I'm not the greatest of bakers but the biscuits in this book - both easy and hard have great, easy to follow instructions and the end results for everything I have tried so far (about half the recipes) has been extremely tasty. And the recipes need ingredients you would usually find in the cupboard so no hunting across the internet for something obscure to be delivered. And at the start of the book there's helpful pages explaining the terms and techniques you will need to bake these recipes. I would thoroughly recommend and am slowly getting myself the other books in this series - so far I've not been disappointed.
It’s a good book full of biscuit recipes. What’s not to like. I’ve tried quite a few and they’ve all worked out really well. I’ve made the flapjacks and double chocolate peanut butter cookies multiple times. There are still plenty more for me to try. Good use of photos to give an idea of what I’m aiming for and easy to follow methods.
Some of these recipes look really good and I can’t wait to make them but most of them I never would. Really glad I borrowed this rather than bought. One of my least favourites out of the GBBO books
