I kind of loved this. Red Wing players from the 40's until the early 2000's each with very different stories and feelings about the experience. Some are glowing remembrances of the team they played for, others deal with clearing the air on specific incidents, others express their displeasure at certain events which happened during their tenure in Detroit. All of the players, however, detail their pride at wearing the winged wheel and being apart of such a storied organization.
For me, it was a glimpse into the history of the team, something I'm not familiar with. Some names are legendary and there are some that I am hearing for the first time. I've always known this organization was special, but to hear it in the players' words and to read their experiences was a lot of fun. I'm very much hoping for a Volume 2
