Sienna is set to marry Andrea. The wedding is about to begin but, Sienna is inlove with Domenico. Eleonora is ready to step in and pretend to be the bride so Sienna can run off to safety.
Eleonora didnt know someone would be waiting there to grab her and avoid the wedding all together.
Nico Lombardi didn’t realize he was grabbing Eleonora instead of Sienna. The sisters had something planned where the wrong sister would marry Andrea but now, no one is getting married. Eleonora will be held captive at Nico’s estate while they wait for her father to agree to demands and strike a deal.
During the time, Nico and Eleonora get close…friendly even. When Eleonora is given the chance to escape she chooses to stay along side Nico and help him….fight with him instead of against him.
These two are the perfect compliment to eachother. This book was suspenseful and so good. The perfect amount of spice. The 2 mc’s are soooo good together. Cannot wait to see what happens in book 2

Just finished this book and it's a -5⭐ read for me !!❤️
If you love Mafia books with Stockholm syndrome then you should definitely read this one 🙌🏻

Eleonora, our FMC, switched places with her sister, Sienna, at the altar because Sienna didn't want to marry for an alliance; she was in love with someone else.
Before the wedding, our MMC, Nico, kidnapped Eleonora, believing she was Sienna. He later realized he'd made a huge blunder ,she wasn't the sister he needed to make a deal with Sienna's father or the woman who was supposed to be married.
Even after discovering the truth, he kept Eleonora captive in his home... and, guys, their chemistry is absolutely undeniable!
And his reaction when His guard called her a bitch 😭🤌🏻. He was damn possessive ❤️

Wow, talk about a crazy turn of events. I thought it was crazy that Eleonora was making the biggest sacrifice but to be kidnapped on top of it was insane! It was also hilarious when Nico discovered he kidnapped the wrong person. Eleonora is feisty and extremely brave, making her the perfect fit for the ruthless and possessive Nico. The building tension between them created the perfect slow-burn chemistry I crave. Between the witty banter, high-stakes suspense, and extremely spicy moments, this book has been impossible to put down!

Characters made it for me
I had a hard time getting wrapped up into the story and characters at first. The world is so far removed from what I know. I began getting invested in it once the characters began showing deeper development and became multidimensional.
