I enjoyed this story and the spice was spicy 🥵. There were certain actions from the MMC that had me thinking he'd be a red flag if this was happening in real life but I was able to get over it. The connection seemed a bit rushed.. but when you know, you know. I'm looking forward to the next book.

Book read and reviewed as an ARC reader, thank you to the author for this opportunity. This personally was a bit hard for read as it was on my phone and I only really read paperback books to ensure I spend less time on my phone. Once I got into it I was hooked and my other plans fell wayside and finished most of the book in 1 day. I disliked Jack at the start of the book but soon warmed to him.
They meet at a nice hotel spa after Ellie (FMC) is cheated on by her ex boyfriend of 12 years. Jack (MMC) explains how he only does casual no strings flings and they agree to spend the night together. They don’t sleep together other than sharing a bed and she wakes up before him which never happens as he suffers from insomnia due to a traumatic childhood. Goes to his POV a week later as another girl exits his apartment and his friend says are you trying to screw your way through London and it’s like they can’t keep up with you. Meet again he’s her client for a kitchen renovation and her innermost thought is I wonder how many women he’s slept with since he met me (bang on tbf). They see each other again at a party and he edges her to make her agree to sleep with him (which I don’t feel great about.) Jack has a druggie brother who he helped put into prison who is now out. Love when Ellie calls Jack out for sticking to these “arrangements” and sticking to his no feelings and says at least I took the risk for love. He also says a couple of times Don’t ever walk out on me like that again (which seemed controlling). But one of the times they ended up having sex in his car (vibe). He and Carter have a bit banter together and I would like to have seen more of that or more friends. But we later understand why he has trust issues. Love how he is no emotional commitment no feelings but then imagines them together and Ellie pregnant. Liked Carter was winding Jack up about Ellie. Thought it was so cute that even though Ellie’s parents moved to Spain 5 years ago her dad still reads the local newspaper. Buzzing for her that on her first day after the takeover by Jack’s company that they were talking about job development which she wanted in her old job. Really made me laugh when Ellie and Jack are in bath for a site visit (he chose a day where the head designer couldn’t make it lol) and they go to a bar. This girl hits on him and he said she had a sickly smell of white wine and vape smoke (lol) and turns out to be the girl her ex cheated on her with. As the book progresses, we find out more about Jack’s troubled background and at 11/12 years old he had to take care of his brother as his mother was an Alcoholic and Dad left recently. She does a grand speech and in the middle of it he calls her special and she says your special too and reels off why. Jack then thinks she actually sees me for who I am. Them telling each other they love each other, Jack first and talking about moving in together but still hasn’t told her a big secret, feels like it’s warming up to a 3rd act break up. My heart sang at the bit where he was talking about marriage. The 3rd act breakup I saw coming came and Lukas (the druggie brother) told Ellie a story that was twisted (Jack’s secret) and Ellie just heads off to her parents in spain and says to him a lie by omission is still a lie. He comes to spain and tells her the actual story to which they make up. Epilogue- 2 years later- She’s in his Ibiza barn which he bought to retire in. She tells him that she is pregnant which he is overjoyed at and then it concludes with him saying you both are the most important things in the world and I can’t wait to make you my wife. Personally I thought they would already be married with her mid way through pregnancy. But I love an epilogue and have already re read the epilogue at least 4 times. The only thing I would have liked to have seen is more chapters from Jack’s perspective as it is mostly Ellie’s.

Overall, the Arrangement made me FEEL things and honestly I feel that’s the whole purpose of this book. I witnessed a wholesome character arc and 💥
The tension was tension-ing, the Spice was SPICYing.

Jack and Ellie ❤
*Possible Spoilers Ahead*
Having read Katy's debut trilogy, the Mr Black series, I was instantly drawn to this book by the author and the beautiful cover. This spicy delight immediately pulled me out of a recent book slump as I quickly became invested in the push and pull that were these two.
I adored the setting and the characters and the story flowed beautifully. The spicy scenes were a particular hit for me and I felt that the author built up the chemistry and the simmering tension perfectly. Ellie is understandably hurt and wary from a terrible breakup and Jack is the typical arrogant billionaire businessman who could, quite simply, knock any woman off their feet. I fell for Jack so easily and I loved how he made up every rule in the manual, only to go and break that rule a short while later. The side characters added warmth and depth to the story and I would love to see some stories on them in future books in this series.
My only gripe was the last 15% of the book where one argument soon led into another and then the whole Ellie running off without so much as questioning Jack did frustrate me. Jack, in equal measure, had also held back on Ellie until it was too late. I also felt the physical side of their relationship slightly eclipsed the deeper part of their relationship for me later on when at that point, I wanted more emotional depth from both characters. The ending then seemed a little rushed and it needn't have been, considering the length of the book. But, despite those tiny niggles, I still ADORED these two. They had passion and chemistry that leapt off the pages, and those early moments in the first half of the book had my heart in a vice.
If you love a red flag dirty talking billionaire and a woman who's previously been hurt but isn't afraid to speak her mind then this book is for you. I devoured it within a few days and I have no doubt that you will too.

Ellie and Jack surprised me with how much I enjoyed their relationship. Ellie has just ended a twelve-year relationship after discovering her boyfriend cheated, and she’s starting to recognize how distant they had both become. Jack enters her life with a strict one-night-only approach, which is completely new territory for her.
I liked that Ellie didn’t simply agree to what Jack wanted. She set her own pace, and seeing him put in the effort to spend time with her made his growing feelings even more obvious. He falls first, though admitting it is another matter entirely!
Their romance has plenty going on around it, from workplace complications to Jack’s family and his brother’s release from jail. Jack withholding part of the truth creates problems, but I stayed invested in how they would work through them.
I loved watching Ellie and Jack find their way to each other. The romance, spice, and drama were all there, and I had a great time with this one.

This was a fun drama filled, spicy workplace romance/forbidden romance. The setting was fun and immersive between the small towns of England and London itself, the characters had depth and layer to them to keep you engaged.
The spicy chapters were well timed out that they never felt too overwhelming, there was a few times I found myself personally wishing they continued to talk things through instead of hooking up but never bad enough to take me out of the story.
The tension between Ellie and Jack was set perfectly right from the start and getting a glimpse into their lives before they met one another and how past strained relationships, and traumatic events carry on in your life and affect you even up to years after.
Overall this was a very fun spicy story that I read in less than 24 hours and really enjoyed!!

Part of the Foxbury Billionaires Series, this is part of an interconnected series of standalone romance novels set in Foxbury Green. It's a smalltown billionaire romance with a bit of spice-make that a LOT of spice!🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶 written in the best possible way and with a lot of heart and some great characters.
Ellie Baker is done with men and Jack Stone doesn’t do relationships. Nothing here for these two then, or is there?
I really enjoyed this book! As well as the story itself, I really liked our lead characters. What I loved most about Ellie was her strength. Weak at times yes, but not your typical 'I give in' character. And then there's Jack. Somebody I'm not sure we're supposed to like but also, impossible not to love! Their will they/won't they and should they/shouldn't they battles are so much fun and a little heartbreaking at times. With gorgeous settings in various places they visit, this is a book you can lose yourself in. Our supporting characters are also lovely and their respect for Jack speaks volumes.
Looking forward to more in this series.

Having now come into my spooky reading era, this book took me back and I loved switching up my genres and diving into this spicy first book of the Foxbury Billionaires series.
This was a pretty chunky read, I felt a little longer than my usual romance reads, but oh how I didn't even notice the page count once I immersed myself into this world.
I absolutely loved the certified red flag walking that was Jack.
Hearing his demands at the start and then seeing each one crumble as he realises that Ellie means more to him was such a joy.
I was more worried for Ellie given her previous lengthy relationship and therefore resistance to the type of one night stand that Jack originally offered.
The chemistry was clear to see right from the start and despite Jack's original shortcomings, I couldn't help but root for the pair.
Aside from the main development of the relationship between Ellie and Jack, I really liked the side characters too - those I presume will be the focus of future books in the series?
Ellie's friendship with Beth was so lovely - it really made me stop and think about my own friends.
Jack and Louis surprised me too as this really brought out a different side to Jack's character that we didn't otherwise see.
This was my first read by this author but absolutely won't be the last.
I can't wait to see where book 2 takes us next ....

Ooh I loved everything about this, the characters, the development, the misunderstandings, the swooning, the arguments, the spice, what a great story!
Jack thinks he isnt mister romance, that he just needs one-night stands and he isnt capable of more. Ellie is fresh out of a 12 year relationship with let's face it, a walking red flag, she meets Jack at a spa day for her birthday and it becomes very quickly apparent that the chemistry between them is insane! Queue some of the expected tropes - one weekend will be enough, jealousy, she's mine, and many more has Ellie and Jack becoming a couple you are really rooting for.
The pacing is great, you have no idea how much you have read in a sitting because you just cant put it down! I finished this by a couple of nights of staying up way past my bedtime, but I was so invested in what was going to happen!
I loved the friendships both had, Ellie and Beth have such a wonderful friendship, I love how they lift each other up and do what's right for the other regardless of the consequences. Jack has such a warm relationship with Louis, you can see the love they have for one another and how much they mean to one another. We also see his banter with Carter who is clearly also a ride or die kind of friend. Carter also clearly has a story to tell and I'd love to read it!
Like I said, loved everything about it, I need more - now!

At first, Jack seems like your typically successful, arrogant, clueless male. But as his walls start to crumble and we discover what's hidden behind that steely exterior, and as Ellie herself begins to understand him better, it's as if we see him becoming that amazing version of himself he was always meant to be.
The same can be said for Ellie, who after being betrayed in the worst way, has lost all of her confidence. She just doesn't believe she's capable or worthy of achieving success in any area of her life, until Jack shows her that she deserves to be treated like the special person that he sees.
As well as the romance, I loved that both of our MC's have fabulous, supportive friends by their sides.
This is the first in the Foxvury Billionaires series, and I can't wait to see what Katy Hart has in store for us next!

Wow! The Arrangement is such a fun, addictive romance that completely pulled me in. From the very beginning, Ellie and Jack have a chemistry that practically jumps off the page, and I loved watching their relationship develop as the story unfolded.
I particularly enjoyed the forced-proximity and workplace elements, which created plenty of tension, banter and those irresistible moments where you’re just waiting for the characters to finally admit what they’re feeling. Jack is the kind of complicated, confident hero who definitely has some work to do, while Ellie is strong, relatable and more than capable of giving him a run for his money.
Katy Hart has created a brilliant combination of romance, emotion, humour and drama, with plenty of twists along the way to keep the pages turning. The small-town setting adds an extra layer of charm, making Foxbury feel like somewhere I’d happily spend more time.
This was an entertaining, escapist read from start to finish, and I absolutely loved getting swept up in Ellie and Jack’s story. If you enjoy billionaire romance, forced proximity, workplace tension and plenty of emotional chemistry, The Arrangement is definitely one to add to your TBR!

This was an entertaining, escapist read from start to finish, and I absolutely loved getting swept up in Ellie and Jack’s story. If you enjoy billionaire romance, forced proximity, workplace tension and plenty of emotional chemistry, The Arrangement is definitely one to add to your TBR!

I absolutely loved the characters in this! The camaraderie between them brought me so much joy, especially in Jacks’ chapters. I also loved getting his POV and knowing what he was thinking 💖
Having the UK setting, all the slang, and the Cotswolds made me ridiculously happy. It’s not often I get to read about England, so this was a proper treat! 🏴💖
I struggled a little with the need for control, ngl. That’s probably a me thing though, because I definitely told him to get stuffed a LOT more than he actually was 😂 I was endlessly proud of Ellie for never taking his shit. And somehow, I don’t think we’re done with Lucas unless he rocks up capiched 😵😋 I also couldn’t stand ‘Suzie’ I felt that she was going to do much more than she did, but she surprised me. She seems more vindictive.
I also want to say seeing both mine and my sisters name in the book was hilarious! She’s a ‘Freja’ & obviously I’m a ‘Zoe’ but nothing like the one in the book 😅😋 I would never pull the stunts she did!

Ellie is strong despite all the hurt she been through. Together, they balance each other beautifully.
The friendships are so warm. In today's world rare to find this bond. Eliie - Beth and Jack, Louis, Carter added so much reality and funny moments. It made Foxbury feel real.
Everything was well balanced and written in practical, believable manner making it easy to connect with the characters and plot.

The spice was incredible! Jack and Ellie both insist they want nothing to do with each other, but that's easier said than done. I appreciated the depth of each character as their story unfolded. The chemistry between them was undeniable. Who is truly off-limits when it seems like destiny is at play? Learning about their backgrounds helped me understand why they were both hesitant to move forward in different aspects of their lives.
I finished this book over three nights; I couldn't put it down. You won't be disappointed. It’s filled with love, connection, family, friends, and most importantly, spice.

From page 1 I was hooked on the story. I would sneak in some reading during work cause I couldn’t put it down. Seeing the love between Ellie and Jack come together had me on rollercoaster of emotions, even found myself giggling like a little school girl during the spicy parts. The pacing kept me interested, and I found myself wanting to keep reading to see how everything would unfold. There were a few slower moments for me, but overall, I thought the story was engaging and enjoyable.

What can I say about this one. Well for starters it took me just a little bit to get into it because I felt it was a little bit slow at first. But the more that I continued to read, the more it started to pick up and then I was invested in the story. It's a small town billionaire romance with forced proximity and spice. It's an entertaining read for sure. Plus the storyline was intriguing. Ellie and Jack's story was lovely. Thank you to Love Books Tours and the author for a copy of this. All opinions are my own and freely expressed.

This is my first read by this author and I will sayvwill be looking forward to more books from her. I was intrigued right from the start. I mean a billionaire romance that is a bit forbidden is right up my alley.
I found myself smiling while reading this book especially when Jack kept breaking the arrangement he made. Both have things in their pasts that makes them put up walls. I just couldn't put this book down.

It's a dynamic story that draws you in. I enjoyed the Britishness of the writing that was a welcome change for me personally. The characters were crafted well enough, although I'd argue that the female lead is more believable rather than the male one who is a bit too forceful and one-track-minded to be wholesome. It's an entertaining read with lots of bedroom scenes

This was such a fun, spicy read! I really enjoyed the workplace and forbidden romance vibe, and the tension between Ellie and Jack was there right from the start. I loved the English setting and getting to know both characters and their pasts.
Overall, this was a drama filled and spicy romance that kept me hooked. I flew through it in less than 24 hours and really enjoyed it!

This book was everything it was suppose to be.
Just a perfect book to curl up under a blanket and get all cosy with.
Let’s just say there was no housework done in my house this weekend.

First off the arrangement is so good! I loved it, I definitely loved how they got their HEA (finally). Jack has reasons why he’s so closed off but no one knows why besides his closest friend who was there for him when his life exploded! Ellie has come across a rough patch in her life, her boyfriend cheated! Her life turned to crap trying to get over the pain of seeing her boyfriend cheat on her! In the process Jack and Ellie end up meeting unexpectedly in a hotel where meeting each other changes their life’s forever!!!

Oh Jack Stone...
There were moments when I wanted to swoon over this man and moments when I wanted to reach into the book and shake some sense into him. 😂 Somehow, that only made me MORE invested in watching Jack and Ellie figure themselves out.
The Arrangement hooked me right from the beginning, and I ended up flying through this drama-filled, forbidden workplace romance in less than 24 hours. The tension between Ellie and Jack was there immediately, and once their lives crossed again in a professional setting, I knew these two were going to be trouble.
Ellie is trying to put herself back together after walking in on her boyfriend cheating with a colleague. She is done being lied to, overlooked, and made to feel like she isn't enough. I really liked that her insecurities didn't magically disappear just because that relationship ended. What happened to her left scars, and those experiences influence the way she approaches Jack and relationships in general.
Then she meets Jack Stone.
And my first impression of this man was...not fantastic. 😂
Jack is wealthy, powerful, incredibly controlled, and VERY comfortable with his playboy lifestyle. Relationships aren't his thing. He prefers arrangements with clear rules, no promises, and absolutely no emotional attachment.
At least that's what he tells himself.
Because Ellie gets under his skin almost immediately.
She isn't his usual type, she doesn't simply fall at his feet, and she definitely doesn't appreciate being told what to do. Watching this supposedly controlled man become increasingly bothered by feelings he absolutely did not order was one of my favorite parts. 😂
And the jealousy?
Sir, YOU made the rules.
Jack could also be spectacularly clueless. There were choices he made early in the story that frustrated me, especially knowing how vulnerable Ellie already felt after what she'd been through. I wasn't always convinced I even liked him.
But that's also why his growth worked for me.
Jack isn't presented as a perfect man waiting for Ellie to notice how wonderful he is. He has to figure out what he actually wants, recognize where he's getting things wrong, and slowly become someone capable of offering more than the carefully controlled arrangement he originally proposed.
And underneath all that frustrating playboy behavior, there is a surprisingly sweet side to him.
I loved watching that man gradually emerge.
Ellie isn't perfect either, which made their relationship feel more believable. She's still finding her footing after betrayal, sometimes gets caught in her own insecurities, and is trying to become someone who doesn't lose herself inside another relationship again. I enjoyed watching her push back against Jack and begin figuring out what she actually deserves.
The longer format really worked for their story because their feelings had time to develop. Nothing about their emotional connection felt instant. Their boundaries slowly became harder to maintain, attraction turned into attachment, and eventually the arrangement stopped looking very casual at all.
There were definitely moments when I wanted these two to keep TALKING instead of letting their chemistry take over. 😂 But overall, the spicy scenes were well spaced throughout the story and never overwhelmed the relationship itself.
And what a roller coaster their relationship became.
One minute I was rooting for them.
The next I was questioning what Jack was doing.
Then he would do something unexpectedly sweet.
Then someone would make another questionable decision.
And somehow I could not stop reading. 😂❤️
I also really enjoyed the supporting friendships. The side characters felt like actual people who mattered to Jack and Ellie rather than placeholders waiting around to give relationship advice, and they made me even more curious about where Katy Hart is taking the Foxbury Billionaires series next.
The setting was another highlight. Moving between the smaller towns of England and London gave the story such an immersive atmosphere and helped make this feel different from many of the billionaire romances I've read.
What ultimately made The Arrangement work so well for me was that Jack and Ellie are allowed to be messy.
Past betrayals, difficult relationships, and painful experiences don't disappear simply because they meet the right person. Those things follow them into their relationship, influence their choices, and sometimes make loving each other much more complicated than either expected.
Jack begins believing he can control exactly how much of himself he gives.
Ellie begins determined never to pour herself into another man who won't truly choose her.
Neither one is prepared for what happens when their carefully constructed rules stop protecting them from falling in love.
Were there moments when I wanted to yell at them?
Absolutely. 😂
Did that stop me from sneaking in every possible minute of reading because I HAD to know what happened next?
Not even slightly.
The Arrangement was dramatic, romantic, spicy, emotional, and completely addictive. Jack and Ellie took me on a serious roller coaster, but by the time I reached their HEA, I was so glad I'd taken every twist and turn with them. ❤️🔥
And as the beginning of the Foxbury Billionaires series, it definitely left me ready to see whose rules are getting broken next.

Foxbury Billionaires: Jack and Ellie

Oh my lord… my first impression of Jack was NOT great.
Especially when he deliberately misleads Ellie. He’s a complete man-ho, and he’s not exactly shy about it. I really hoped Ellie would hold out until he grew up, because she was already showing some worrying signs of being a bit of a doormat, and her insecurities were very real.
And honestly, I never thought I’d be pissed about a lack of action, but the fact that nothing happened and Jack then immediately hooked up with other women? That was enough to reinforce so many of Ellie’s existing beliefs about herself.
The man put her through some serious emotional pain.
And yet…
I absolutely loved reading this.
Jack surprised me with just how sweet he could be. He was also spectacularly clueless at times, particularly when it came to understanding what Ellie needed from him.
Ellie had some very well-founded fears, and while Jack was absolutely a tool at times, I really enjoyed watching him slowly work through his confusion about what he actually wanted.
There was also a vague throwaway comment that made me wonder if he was still sleeping with other women during all of this, and if so… hmmm.
The miscommunication and back-and-forth were definitely there, but somehow it kept pulling me back in. This was a topsy-turvy ride where I was constantly wondering which direction these two were going next.
I also really enjoyed their friends. They felt realistic, supportive and actually useful rather than just being background characters.
So yes, this review sounds ridiculously negative for a book I actually loved reading… Go figure…
