Mango Farm: A Mango Bob Adventure

Rate this book
Welcome to the backwoods, where moonshine, meth, stolen dogs, and bad decisions are just part of the scenery.

For Walker, it was supposed to be a simple favor for a friend. Instead, it turned into a week of crazies, hermits, missing mutts, and little old ladies searching for lost love.

She said the trip would be easy. Said it was for a good cause. What she forgot to mention was the part about hauling a one-hundred-twenty-pound protection dog and a goat halfway across Arkansas in his van alongside a mystery woman he’d never met.

“For your safety,” she told him.

Turns out she was right.

Before long, Walker’s buying fuel for a moonshine still, getting shot at in the hills, chasing low-budget criminals through the backroads, and wondering how his quiet little farm became a magnet for trouble.

Welcome to Mango Farm.

I finally figured out why I like these books

I have read them all amd always look forward to reading it when a new one comes out. Today I figured out why. Most of the books I read try to have some convoluted plot twist they have to weave into the book and in my opinion this usually doesnt work as intended. Books become harder to read and involve a lot of thinking since we all try to figure out who did it. These books are fun to read, good story, great characters; you can relax and enjoy reading these amd I find great value in this. I love a good mystery and am obviously part of the "figure it out before the reveal" crew but sometimes you want fun to read over multivariable calculus.

I enjoy the Mango series as it is a nice easy read and I use it to cleanse my reading eyes before I plunge into something deeper. Always pleasant but I cringe over the way all the females that wander into his life order him around and he seems to accept their directions, critical control, destroying his property with out any form of responsibility. It is always the same, their brains and his brawn (when needed). But once that is accepted the read goes smoothly. I notice from the reviews offered by females they seem to accept this sub-servant action normal?

Better each book

I've read all of the author's books. The first ones were because I'm a guy in Florida who owned an RV. His books were a fun distraction. Now he has become a legit storyteller. This book has suspense, humor and character development. A fun read by a real writer!

Mango Bob books

Another enjoyable read. Only problem is that they are too short! Can't wait for the next one....every time I get the newest one I promise myself I will read it very slowly...haha,that never works!

Bob now has some new friends, great addition.
If you have not done so already do you yourself a favor and read the entire series. Perhaps we can convince Bill to continue with the Mango adventures.
Thanks again for another fun read!
