Unexpected

You get a taste of Harry in the first 2 books, but there is so much more to him. Harry is definitely an Unexpected surprise. Harry is so funny he makes me laugh so hard I cry. He’s very sexy and dirty (I blush thinking about him). He’s kind and good. Doug has some real competition for my affections.
Harry is a ladies man till he finds the right lady, Megan. Once he got his sights set of her he had one goal, to make her his. There's one downfall to Harry sometimes he's an idiot, but least he knows it. When Harry loves he loves hard and when he makes a mistake he'll do anything to make it right.
This is a beautiful addition to the series. It's full of romance, friendships, laughter, heartbreaks and heart aches, fears and determination, forgiveness and love -lots of it. I loved that we got we to have a little Doug and Sophie in the story. Doug never disappoints when it comes to messing with Harry.
If you haven’t read the series yet you should. There are so many time you’ll find you can relate to the characters in the story.

Unexpected is book four in the Connected Series (or as I like to call it, Harry's book!).
Harry is yet another of KA Hobbs boys that I officially adore. I think the is the character who starts his journey and grows the most. Leaving home, for his travels, he leaves as a cocky, single, feisty, filthy mouthed, sexy as hell young man. But his travels happen and he returns a man, with more eye opening experiences, more love and more SEX!
This cocky twenty something Harry is all about the sex. He chats any woman up (well most!)...he's simply hilarious. But he's not sleazy with it. However his "playing" days would be numbered upon meeting a girl...the girl who would push his limits, emotionally, physically and everything inbetween.
Excerpt:
"I lock eyes with Megan...She was wearing another dress...it was black, with floaty sleeves that showed her arms. It was short and it was clinging to every curve...She was a fucking Goddess. And those fucking heels were back. God help me."
Megan brings a new side to Harry. Not to mention the sexy as hell side we already knew existed!

But on a serious note, I adore Harry. He's hot, sweet and grows the hell up in this book. He leaves a boy and grows into a man. Learning about relationships and how to treat a girl (outside of the bedroom!). His journey of life ends in love, but would he get his happily ever after?

A truly incredible book....Harry is bloody incredible and just when I think the series can't possibly get any better...it DOES! Another incredible five star read from KA.

Unexpected by KA Hobbs
Firstly I'd like to thank KA Hobbs for giving reading the sheets book blog a chance to read the ARC for this novel, and I'm so glad she did.
In unexpected, we meet Harry. Harry is a 'jack the lad', he loves getting his end away and has never really seen a reason to settle down. All his friends are single, and he's good with the ladies, so why would he just stick to one? Megan, that's why. She turns his whole world upside down and he's in heaven, but how will a player be able to settle down?
Harry has decided to travel around the world before he starts a career and has to stay in one place for the rest of his life. He packs his bag, and his first destination is Australia. Pretty quickly Harry woo's the ladies and he's in his element. With the new friends he's made Harry heads to a club with his new wingman and house buddy, Jack, to see what mischief they can get themselves into, but while there, Harry spots Megan and his whole world turns on its axis. He had to meet her, he has to know her and he has to be a part of her life. Megan had other ideas. She is seeing a guy called Connor, and although he's not the nicest guy in the world, Megan is loyal and won't let anything happen between them while she's seeing Connor. That's doesn't mean Harry's not going to back off easily though, just having her as a friend is enough for him for the time being.
Harry and Megan's story is beautiful. Maybe everything isn't smooth sailing all of the time, but I'd like to see a relationship that is. Their love for each other shines out of the pages, and as with Doug and Sophie, I feel there are no better people for each other than Megan and Harry. Whether they'll make it to the end is another story, but whatever happens, they touched a part of me that all of KA Hobbs books touch, my heart. A truly beautiful story, written by a truly beautiful soul.

I was given this book in turn for an honest review.
Harry finds himself in Australia living a life he hadn't dreamed off in more ways than one. When everything seemed perfect, one rash decision left two hearts breaking. Can they put their stubborn trait aside and find their path to happiness together again?
KA Hobbs has given me another amazing book boyfriend to daydream over. Harry is a typical fun loving and very active male that most women can't resist. Although Harry is a player he always treats women right; he shows them respect, affection, care and hell of a good time; both inside and outside the bedroom. It is without any doubt that this cheeky fun loving man won over my heart within the first couple of chapters and he continued to do so as his story progressed
Unexpected is a love story that literally starts unexpectedly. Harry is out to enjoy life and explore the wonders of the world when one night and one girl, changed everything.
Harry and Megan's story is a sweet and humorous romance with little drama and a whole lot of fun. Their connection is strong and you can feel the love and devotion they hold for each other. Together they are adorable, sweet, fun, loyal, sexy and as HOT AS HELL! There is never a cold moment, together they are simply electrifying!
I absolutely loved Unexpected, along with Harry and Megan, I also loved Jack and Josie; the four of them together are my kind of friends and there is never a dull moment between them. I have a whole new love for BBQ’s, Just Dance and Tequilas! In fact, when I hear tequila I will always think of Harry and Megan.
If you love humorous, hot romances, you will absolutely love Unexpected by KA Hobbs.
This story could be read as a standalone, however to fully enjoy the series, I recommend starting with Doubt book #1 of the Connected Series.

This might be book 4 in the Connected series but you are able to read this a standalone and still enjoy the story.
For those of us who have read the other books, Unexpected focuses on Harry, Sophie's brother.
As we know Harry had been in Australia travelling, he come home suddenly and then with Doug's help went back out there. In this story we find out why.
Harry is a fun loving character, he is the type of guy that makes you want to drink Tequila body shots and share showers, to save water obviously ;).
Whilst in Australia Harry unexpectedly falls in love. Harry has a reputation of being a ladies man and when he meets Megan she rocks his world. Unfortunately she is still in a relationship but that doesn't stop Harry trying to win her over.
As they settle into a relationship they have a lot of fun times, some rather steamy times! They soon settle into a routine, work, spending time with friends and each other. But then Harry has to mess it all up.
Travelling back to England he knows what an idiot he has been and he starts to try and get back to Australia and Megan.
For anyone who has read the rest of the series we do get to meet up with Doug and Sophie and have a brief glimpse into their life (Yay)
This was a very fun story to read, it had me smiling, it shows that every relationship is not perfect and that friendship is really important. It shows that people make mistakes and beak hearts when they don't really mean to.

Wow o wow! I thought KA Hobbs would struggle to top the amazingness that was Doubt, Assured and Broken but my god has she managed it and then some! I am struggling to find the words to describe this masterpiece. Harry has quickly become one of my most loved and adored book boyfriends, he is a cocky, gorgeous dirty mouthed, sex on legs male that I wish I knew!
There is a humour in this book that offers relief to anyone who reads KA Hobbs' books back to back (if you haven't read the previous books in the series then I'm going to need you to promise me that you will!). The humour contained within Unexpected is one of the very reasons that it is my favourite of KA's work to date. Harry is just a twenty something, single man travelling across the globe in search of adventure. What he didn't expect was to find her and how I blooming wish I was her! I need my penguin! I also feel the urge to drink tequila whenever I think about Harry, he sure does know how to drink ;). I cannot quite adequately describe just how amazing this book is, I need you to read it for yourself!
THANK YOU KA for giving Harry his own story, I laughed, cried, punched my pillow, shouted at my kindle, everything!I was incredibly upset when I realised that I had finished, I read Harry too quickly, that boy deserves to be savoured! I cannot wait for what KA has in store for us next!

I didn't for a second expect any couple to come close to Doug and Sophie but Harry and Megs are a real close second, there is just something about that cheeky lad ;) I really did adore them but I'm not going to sit here and say that I didn't want to bang their fictional heads together because I REALLY did, however the suspense that was created by all the drama was so spot on that I wouldn't be without it. If you liked Harry in Doubt and Assured then you will love him in Unexpected, where he was subdued in the previous books, he is well and truly in his element in Unexpected.
Along with the familiar faces from the previous books you also have the new characters from Australia and it has to be said that Jack and Josie are awesome, I loved the extra comedy that they brought to the book, I really do hope we see more of them. All the characters are so well developed that if it wasn't for the POV I would find it hard to distinguish between the main and secondary characters because they so clearly have their own issues and story to tell.
KA Hobbs keeps raising the bar, she never ceases to amaze me with each release. Thank you for another incredible insight into the Connected series gang <3

I was so excited when I heard that Harry was going to have a book all of his own! I'd already grown accustomed to him on our first meeting but I had a feeling things were going to dirtier...and boy was I right! Unexpected starts with Harry arriving on his travels in Australia and as soon as he gets there, yes, he's having sex. But goodness, it is HOT - like ten chillies hot!
It's not all about the sex with Harry though - well, it was - but that all changes when he meets Megan (with extra sex of course). Before that, he was totally carefree but he meets a special lady who totally changes his attitude to relationships and love. But then two huge decisions are made and they could change the course of their relationship, unless they decide to fight for it... And fight they will.
I have to say, I loved all of the main characters in this book, they were just so much fun - totally relate-able too.

Out of all the Connected men i think i love Harry the most. I love everything about him including that filthy mouth and how possessive he is even before Megan is his. I also love the banter between him and Jack. They might have just met but its like they are brothers from another mother. I would say that Unexpected takes us on a journey of self discovery for Harry because once he finds Megan its like his life is how its always supposed to have been. He doesn't feel the need to keep travelling, he's found his penguin and wants to build his nest.

Book 4 in the connected series and I can tell you its absolutely brilliant loved the characters and storyline. It took awhile to get over the Mr Doug Robert's in Doubt ( book 1 ) then we meet the one and only sexy Harry and the path he goes down to find his one true love and what a ride he takes you on. Patiently waiting for book 5 from the brilliant Author KA Hobbs.

I loved Harry's story. I loved the brotherly bond between Harry and Jack that was forged from the start. I loved how Harry and his dirty mouth fell hard and fast megs and it was fitting that she didn't make it easy for them. They had a few bumps on the road along the way but they got there in the end. I want tequila body's shots and to make nests like penguins.
