This was a DNF for me. I didn’t even make it through the first chapter and here’s the spoiler as to why.
She tells the MC her situation however she’ desperate enough to lie to him about her potential groom saying he will r*pe her. I don’t lie to read books with SA to begin with but I’ve gotten through some. And even though this isn’t something I’ve lived through I know people who have. And people lying about it or saying someone said they were going to do that but it’s untrue isn’t something I can read or get pass. It wasn’t necessary for the storyline at all as a lot of storylines it isn’t necessary for unless it’s a book about overcoming that trauma and coming out the other side which so far there hasn’t been any where it seemed essential for the story.
Now that was the straw that broke the camels back as they say however before we got there the story just wasn’t drawing me in. The character interactions, up until the lying about potential SA scene, were a little smack myself in the head type of interactions. The confrontation with the dad and then the scene with her friend were meh. So for me DNF and barely a start so onto the next.

A captivating read, a marriage by contract and a bride that is on the run and looking for help
Keri Has been told by her parents that she is going to marry into the Battista family which is something that she most definitely did not want and this objection has caused a great deal of animosity with her parents and she knows that she has to try and find some help.
Jazon Blackwood is an extremely wealthy businessman who she had bumped into quite literally at a fitting she had not wanted to attend she has started to plan and then on a night when her family was not watching like hawks had crept to his office to ask for help.
She had told Jaxon about the marriage contract and about the contract that had been agreed without her knowledge and she had explained that the Battista family had already threatened her when she objected about the wedding and she knew she could not possibly marry into their cruel family.
She is surprised when he offers to help her and to keep her safe from her family and also from the groom’s family she has avoided.

I’m a fan of Ms. Fields, but this book missed the mark for me. The plot felt weak and disjointed, jumping around in time without enough substance to sustain it. Unfortunately, i also struggled to connect with either of the main characters.
Keri remained frustratingly immature throughout the story, repeatedly running to Jaxon for help, only to flee again after getting what she needed. While her behavior may have been believable at eighteen, there was little growth over the years. Jaxon, meanwhile, came across as arrogant and overly focused on punishment. His solution to nearly every
problem was a spanking, often despite Keri’s protests, which made their dynamic difficult for me to enjoy.
The story explores themes of trust, vulnerability, dominance, and submission, with plenty of angst, drama, and conflict. However, the heavy focus on punishment scenes overshadowed the characters' emotional connection. I never truly felt the chemistry or bond that should have driven their relationship.
While other readers may enjoy the Daddy/domestic discipline dynamic, the lack of character growth, emotional depth, and believable connection left me disappointed. This one wasn’t for me.

Daddy's To Keep had an intriguing premise and plenty of tension between Keri and Jaxon. I enjoyed the setup of Keri escaping an arranged marriage and finding herself drawn back to Jaxon years later when she once again needs help.
That said, I struggled with the repeated cycle of Keri running to Jaxon and then running away from him. After a while, the back-and-forth became repetitive, and I found Keri's behavior frustrating and immature at times. I think I would have connected more with the story if there had been more character growth and maturity in her decisions.
Overall, this was a quick, steamy read with an interesting dynamic, but the repetitive relationship pattern kept me from fully connecting with the story.

What a wonderfully sinful, sexual and sensual story! Keri had to first reach out to Jaxon to get her out of an unwanted marriage brokered by her father. Jaxon provided said help, but also provided a punishment to her for embellishing (lying) her story. Years later she needed his help again, but again embellished the story. Jaxon again helped her and again provided an appropriate punishment. Yet again she finds herself in need of his special talents, and again he provides the help and the escalated punishment. Beginning to see a pattern? Keri knows what she wants from Jaxon, Jaxon knows what Keri needs from him. She gets the punishments she earned (yearned?) and he gets what he wants. A graphic and erotic story for the true fans of Daddies and their little girls. 5 STARS

Keri is being railroaded into an arranged marriage which will benefit her father. She sneaks out of the house the night before and goes to Jaxon who takes her under his wing but expects too much of her. She runs away, manages to get her degree and is working in the city government. Seven years later after an altercation with a coworker she runs to Jaxon, for help again. He is much sterner this time, but Keri runs out again.
I struggled with the back and forth with Keri and Jaxon. There was so much repetition of her behaviors which I found very immature.
Perhaps, a more mature Keri would improve the story.

Whew! That was some of the hottest spice I’ve read in a while. It starts early and doesn’t let up. It soooooo good. The MMC is someone you comes to when you need things in life taken care of. The FMC is in need of his services. They work together and when the job is complete they don’t see one another for quite some time. The story goes from there. This is fast paced, easy to read and digest. I was totally immersed in this short story and didn’t want it to end. I read it in one sitting. I just couldn’t put it down. I rarely say rhis about a book but I want to read it again. Oh, and if you like spankings this one’s for you. I loved this novella and would definitely recommend it.

Another hit out of the park for this author. I would recommend it to anyone.

Daddy's To Keep is a dark romance between Keri and Jaxon. The writing is well done, and the storyline is captivating. Keri's father set up an arranged marriage that she doesn't want, so she goes to Jaxon for help. He agrees, but when he catches her lying, things take a steamy turn from there. This is a twisted, raw story with spankings, lies, punishments, and much more. If you trigger easily, then this might not be for you, but if you like a great story with some dark twistiness, then this is for you. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

This is a book that takes place over years and builds over time. Keri is 18 at the start and wants out from her controlling and manipulating father so she runs to the only man in town who she thinks can help her. Jaxon is intrigued by Keri but won’t allow her to lie and punishes her for those little embellishments.

There was a lot of a certain something that was always being applied to Keri's backside. Hard. Most of the scenes were described in intense detail. To me, that is what the story was based on. No real plot, no character depth, just that. If you like that, it's fine and you will enjoy it. I would have liked a storyline to go along with it. Which, there wasn't much of one.

The worst ever. Everything is a bargain and he choose her limits and built his conclusions, I am sorry but she is not a pet or a chair even in bdsm there's respect and consent no one make his own assumptions for the other there's time to stop when the other feels enough but Jaxon is the worst he is the worst sadistic person and narcissist their is no significant other hated him to the extreme
