M-Theory: This theory combines the five different string theories into one. It states that strings are really 1-dimensional slices of a 2-dimensional membrane vibrating in 11-dimensional space and that the five different versions of string theory might describe the same thing seen from different perspectives.
In plain text: it's a fucking mystery.
This is a short story that can be found on the Freak Circle Press blog.
Lina Andersson was born and raised as far up north as you can go in Sweden. The long, dark winters were made for reading and writing, which is pretty much all she ever did. In her early twenties, she packed up her husband and son and moved to the slightly warmer climate of southern Sweden, where they still live, more than a decade later. When she's not writing, she's an avid gamer and film geek.
Keep an eye on the FCP website for updates on coming books and for Marauder short stories.
This short story tells us the story of when Brick met Mel and how they became romantically involved and later together. It's really sweet and funny. Brick has this clever charm which provides further insight into him be the Marauder's leader. And the natural charisma of Mel fits so perfectly with his charm. They're a great pair. I read M-Theory following Arrow of Time for some extra insight into the characters since I adored Brick and Mel in Marauders Book One where we get to see the aftermath of their courting. Love the series.
Nice beginning for Brick and Mel. I'm reading Arrow, and they are already happily married with kids. I felt a little lacking when it came to their love story, so I doubled back to this 19 page gem.
