This is a romantic tragedy, a suspense book. I recommend this for adults only, adults scenes. It is the third and final book in the The Bellini Series, and by far this is my favorite book out of the series. I was sitting on the edge of my seat waiting to read the next chapter. I am so in love with the characters of this series, they made me feel so many different emotions that I was never bored with the book. I recommend this for anyone who loves undeniable passion. Sebastian Bellini and Mia McGuire's love is beyond compare. A true love will never die story.
This story is about Sebastian Bellini, he is a wealthy man whom has made a lot of sacrifices in his life. This time one of his choices has caused him a lot of stress and grief. He has done everything possible to live in solitude. But a wise elderly woman has warmed his heart and helped open his eyes to the truth. He will do anything possible to right his mistakes. Can he prove he has changed before its too late... or is it already to late?
Mia McGuire has came into her money, by proving she can handle whatever is thrown at her. She has a lot to prove and her broken heart helps to seal the deal. Life has trampled on her and she is determined to survive. She has made several friends whom have become her family and she will do anything to protect them... even as far to make a deal with the devil. Her only downfall is her weakness to Sebastian Bellini, but this time she will prove she doesn't need him... or does she?
Will time prove to be both their enemies, or will time heal all wounds? Love hurts but it can also be forgiving.

I am greatly honored and forever grateful to the Author to having given me the privilege of an ARC of the Bellini Series.
When the Music Ends set the stage for Sebastian and Mia's quest for love and acceptance. A Song Interrupted dealt with them losing their way and their search for the way back. Adagio is all about finding and resolving, with every piece of the puzzle falling neatly into its rightful place.
Merriam-Webster's Dictionary defines Adagio as "a ballet duet by a man and a woman, displaying difficult feats of balance." This truly describes Sebastian and Mia's journey. From an undeniable attraction in the beginning - accompanied by a contract, no less - to the realization that they were meant for each other against all odds, a difficult feat of balance their story has proven to be. And Adagio is the perfect word to describe it.
I loved that Ricci and Maureen are both safe and sound. I couldn't figure how J. Kaye Smith would resolve the fix Ricci was in but, in the end, all loose ends were tied. Bravo!
Best of all, the Epilogue left me feeling warm and happy. It was the capstone to a beautiful side story that could have just been left unattended to and overlooked. For the Epilogue alone - Thank you, Janet.
If the first two books of the Bellini Series left you wanting more, Adagio will more than satisfy. It will enchant you.
When I first started reading this series, I had have an open mind. I usually don't like multiple point of views, but the way J. Kaye Smith writes is excellent! When she changes characters, you don't get confused and the books flows really well! Throughout all three books J. Kaye Smith always kept you sitting at the edge of your seat wondering what is going to happen next! I absolutely recommend this series. In the book you are not only wanting to know about the main characters, but you are generally interested in the other characters as well. I can't say enough about J.Kaye Smith's writing! She is one of my favorite authors!
What a wonderful way to end it! I loved how Mia stood her ground in the beginning of the book and how Sebastian admitted he was wrong! I also loved how Ricci finally had his happy ending after everything that has happened! I have to say the ending of the book is my favorite, what a touching sweet way to end the series!
The third book in the Bellini brothers series was the perfect conclusion to the Sebastian and Mia story. Unlike the other two books where there was a bit of a roller coaster type of storyline, this one moved along like a steady flowing river. Now there were surprises, but overall, it was a pretty controlled read.
I was excited to see his Brittish woman back in the story.
Now there was one piece that left me pondering if we are going to see a spin-off series with a couple of characters from this book. I would welcome the story if the author so chooses to go down that road.
I truly adored Adagio. This has been an amazing series. The cast of characters were lovable and some, not so much. For those that have read the first two books, you will not want to miss the wonderful conclusion that seals the fate of Sebastian and Mia. Mrs. Smith does and Awesome job of bringing all the stories together and tying them up in a perfectly orchestrated bow. I'm really going to miss this series, maybe she will grant us a novella update down the road. *hint hint*
I love this conclusion to Sebastian and Mia story. We pick up where A song interrupted ended at Ricci and Maureen wedding. I love just how much Sebastian never gives up to win back Mia. I wont give anything away but it was a great ending to the series. We even have his London friends appearing in the story again. J Kaye Smith wrote another great story and if she wants to write a spinoff with some of the characters I am happy to also read that.
What a great book to end the series, I loved that Sebastian came home and how he confesses his feelings to Mia and although she fights him over how he treated her, he still had an effect on her. I love that in this book we still got to see a lot of Maureen and Ricci, they were very close to becoming my favourite characters.
A great story and a great ending. Loved the epilogue and I'm a little sad to see the series come to an end
